Abstract

This research was conducted because Self-Efficacy and Student Learning Outcomes are still weak. The direct learning model with routine practice is thought to be a factor influencing the Self-Efficacy and Student Learning Outcomes of students in higher education. This study aims to determine how the direct learning model with regular practice affects student self-efficacy and swimming learning outcomes. This type of research is a quantitative correlation with the research population is 90 students who take swimming courses in Higher Education. The research sample was selected by purposive random sampling. The instrument used is a questionnaire, because it is an effective data collection method to test the variables to be measured and the answers expected by the respondents. The questionnaire uses a Likert scale by providing an opportunity to answer each item. Hypothesis testing was carried out with the SPSS 26.0 program using correlational analysis. The results showed that the use of a direct learning model with regular practice will increase students' self-efficacy, as well as improve learning outcomes in swimming lessons.

Abstract

This research was conducted because understanding and readiness for swimming learning are still problematic. Hypnotherapy methods are assumed to be the factors that influence the understanding and readiness of swimming learning of students in higher education. This study aims to determine the effect of using hypnotherapy methods on the understanding and readiness of swimming lessons in higher education. This research uses the quantitative correlation method. The population is 150 students who take swimming lessons in higher education, and a sample of 50 students who were selected using purposive random sampling. The questionnaire is an effective data collection method to test the variables to be measured and the answers expected by the respondents. The questionnaire applies a Likert scale by providing an opportunity to answer each item. Data were analyzed using regression analysis. The results showed that (1) there was an increase in students' understanding of swimming lessons using hypnotherapy methods, (2) there was an increase in student readiness in swimming lessons using hypnotherapy methods.

Abstract

The situation of lack of oxygen supply to cells and tissues is often not realized by many people (hypoxia). Hypoxia can occur in various situations in life. The main effect of hypoxia is the effect on the brain, so the body will do everything it can to restore the state of homeostasis. HIF-1α protein is a marker of hypoxic conditions. HIF-1α regulates the synthesis of many genes to maintain and restore body homeostasis from hypoxia to normoxia. This study was a descriptive study with cross-sectional design. The sample of this study were six swimming athletes with a 12-19 year age range who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The HIF-1α protein is measured by the ELISA method. Data were analyzed statistically. The results showed higher levels of HIF-1α after anaerobic exercise than the levels of HIF-1α before and after aerobic exercise. This is greatly influenced by the intensity of the exercise carried out. This proves that cellular adaptation to hypoxia is more stable in aerobic exercise, where the body's metabolism during aerobic exercise is more stable

Abstract

The case in this research is about the chage of method in sport and health subject study in Pandemic, the education process should in practice in the field as almost with the own teacher’s control, and become almost material explanation dominantly about and add some task that makes boring an worrying to the students in studying. The research is made to see the rank of the student’s boring and worrying studying in pademic time for sport and health education subject in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. This research use quantitative-qualitative approachment (mixed methods) in sequential explanatory. The research population is Vocational High School (SMK) Muhammadiyah 1 Padang. At the beginning, the quantitative data is used here to collect the data, and then it uses qualitative. The tool for collecting data are questionair, interview, and document analyse. According to the result of stdent’s boring and worrying studying at the pandemi time on sport and health subject study, we can see that the level of the student’s boring feeling is the middle rank, by percentage 45,8%, and the worrying is also in the middle 45,8%.

Abstract

The problem in this study, namely the lack of physical fitness of the male students of SMP PGRI 4 Padang. This study aims to see the effect of playing and motivation on physical fitness. This study uses a quasi-experimental method with a 2x2-level fakorial design. The number of samples from all treatment designs was 36 people, based on the division of the group 27% high learning motivation level and 27% low learning motivation level. Learning motivation instruments were measured by questionnaires and TKJI. The data obtained were analyzed using ANOVA and Tukey's follow-up test with a significance level of = 0.05. The final results show: (1) There is a difference between the method of playing games using tools and the method of playing games without tools on physical fitness, (2) There is no interaction between playing methods and motivation on physical fitness, (3) There is no difference in the effect of high learning motivation between the method of playing games using tools and the method of playing without tools on physical fitness, (4) In the low motivation group, games without tools are better to use the method of playing games using tools on physical fitness.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui mengenai faktor disiplin, kebosanan, kepercayaan diri, dan kepribadian terhadap tidak meningktaknya waktu atlet RD Swimming Club Kabupaten Rejang Lebong. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Sampel yang digunakan 9 narasumber terdiri dari 3 pelatih, 3 orang tua atlet, dan 3 mantan atlet. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan teknik analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, verifikasi, dan triangulasi. Hasil pada penelitian ini aspek disiplin secara menyeluruh atlet RD sudah bagus tetapi adapun masalah yang membuat kurang disiplin tidak ada progres yang signifikan dan kurang adanya chemistry kepada pelatih. Aspek kebosanan atlet RD mengalami kejenuhan yang difaktori oleh program latihan yang monoton, jarak yang ditempuh untuk latihan, prasarana ayang kurang memadai, dan tidak ada kompetitor. Aspek kepercayaan diri atlet RD terlihat kurang percaya diri saat berada dalam perlombaan yang besar apalagi saat melihat peserta yang menjadi lawan-lawannya. Aspek kepribadian atlet RD termasuk kedalam kepribadian yang positif terlihat atlet RD memiliki sifat yang ambisius, kerja keras dan semangat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dampak dari status gizi dan kesegaran jasmani serta motivasi belajar sebagai faktor untama yang berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani. Pembelajaran afektif dilaporkan menjadi salah satu faktor kunci dalam pencapaian hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani. Fokus dalam penelitian ini pada faktor status gizi, kesegaran jasmani, motivasi dan belajar siswa. Kami melakukan survei kepada siswa dalam jumlah 41 orang. Kemudian memeriksa temuan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, dengan memanfaakan IBM SPSS software. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa, terdapat pengaruh secara lansung maupun tidak langsung dari prediktor statu gizi, kesegaran jasmani, dan motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan jasmani. Kekuatan pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung mengidentifikasi bahwa secara signifikan perpengaruh positif antara status gizi dan kesegaran jasmani melalui motivasi belajar terhadap hasil belajar PJOK Siswa SD Negeri 11 Silokek Kabupaten Sijunjung.

Abstract

The Studi Purpose. Students have difficulty in doing swimming movements because they do not know the good sequence of movements. The purpose of this research is to help students learn to swim in an easy and fun way so they can do breaststroke swimming. Material and Methods. Effectivenes model fun games with 51 students as research subjects from the Faculty of Sports Science, UNP. The data collection instrument used expert validation questionnaires, documentation, and breaststroke swimming tests. The data analysis technique used independent sample t test analysis and aiken rater score. Results. The research findings show that fun games effectively improve students' breaststroke swimming ability. In the t-test obtained experimental group there is a difference. Conclusions. that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class where using an aquatic learning model based on breaststroke swimming fun games has a greater influence on students' breaststroke swimming ability compared to those who do not use. Swimming learning is easier if done with fun games this is very good if the coach applies it.

Abstract

This research was conducted because swimming style learning outcomes are still weak in terms of gender. This study aims to determine the interaction between gender and swimming style learning outcomes. This type of research is quasi-experimental using a 2x3 factorial design. The research method used is descriptive-comparative, with a sample of 100 sports education students. The questionnaire is an effective data collection method to test the variables to be measured and the answers expected by the respondents. The questionnaire applies a Likert scale by providing an opportunity to answer each item. Hypothesis testing was carried out with the SPSS 22.0 program using one-way ANOVA, and two-way ANOVA analysis. The results showed that (1) there were differences in the learning outcomes of swimming style in terms of gender, (2) there was an interaction between gender and swimming style. The learning outcomes of male students' swimming styles were higher than female students, both in the breaststroke, butterfly, and freestyle.

Abstract

This research highlights the strategic role of sports in improving the quality of human resources, focusing on Wushu as a branch of achievement. There is a dominant attack technique, Tengkong Bailian, which requires strength, speed, and precision. Plyometric exercises, such as Split Squat Jump and Jump To Box, are recognized as methods to increase muscle power. Flexibility is also considered crucial in sports activities, and the technical development of Wushu athletes requires the integration of plyometric training with a focus on strength, speed, and flexibility. This study tried to reveal the difference in the influence between the two plyometric exercise methods on the ability of Tengkong Bailian, taking into account the degree of flexibility. Results showed that both methods were effective, with Split Squat Jump superior at high flex, and Jump To Box more effective at low flex. The implication is that the integration of both training methods can promote optimal results in coaching Wushu athletes, with emphasis on individual characteristics and degree of flexibility. These findings provide guidance for Wushu trainers to develop effective exercise programs
