Abstract

Gadgets are tools that can be used to receive, search and obtain various sources of information from outside with a wide range of information. The purpose of this research is to analyze how student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli are influenced by the use of technology. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were 387 students at SMA Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli and the sample was determined using a non-probability type with a purposive sampling technique of 197 people with a significant level of 5%. Data collection techniques used are observation, documentation and questionnaires. For data processing, namely conducting validity tests, reliability tests, and correlation tests. The results of the study show that there is a negative effect of using gadgets on student learning outcomes at SMA Negeri 2 Gunungsitoli. Through testing the hypothesis with the correlation test obtained t-table of 0.1398 so that t-count = 0.147989 > t-table = 0.1398.

Abstract

The problems in this study are educators who have not used the science learning module in the teaching and learning process and the low learning outcomes of students because of the lack of students' ability to construct the knowledge they get. The aims of this study were: to know feasibility, to know practicality, to know the effectiveness of inquiry-based learning modules in material classification materials and their changes for class VII SMP/MTs in the learning process. This research is a development research using the 4D development model which consists of define, design, develop, disseminate. The instrument used is a validation questionnaire which includes aspects of content feasibility, language feasibility, and design feasibility, student response questionnaires and learning achievement tests. The feasibility of inquiry-based modules by lecturers as content and material expert validators obtained a score of 85 with a 100% achievement level in the "very feasible" category, while from subject teachers obtained a score of 88 with a 100% achievement level in the "very feasible" category, the linguist validator obtained a score 59 with an achievement level of 100% in the "very feasible" category and the design expert validator obtained a score of 88 with a 100% achievement level in the "Very feasible" category, practicality of the inquiry module on material classification material and its changes, small group test obtained a maximum score of 77 with the achievement level 67% in the "practical" category, field trials obtained a maximum score of 494 with an achievement level of 90 in the "very practical" category, the effectiveness of inquiry-based modules on material classicization and its modifications with a success rate of 84% in the "very effective" category.

Abstract

This research was conducted to see how the Discovery Learning learning model affects student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Alasa. This study used a real experiment with a pretest-posttest control group design. All participants in this study were grade VIII SMP Negeri 1 Alasa. The direct random sampling process was used to select samples, and class VIII-1 was designated as the experimental class and class VIII-2 as the control class. In this study, the test instrument consisted of 20 multiple choice questions. With SPPS, data analysis uses t-test. Based on the results of the independent sample t-test which gives a significance value of 0.000 > 0.05, the hypothesis can be accepted that the discovery learning model influences student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 1 Alasa.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi yang sangat pesat saat sekarang ini telah banyak digunakan orang. Berbagai informasi dapat di akses melalui internet secara bebas. Bermain game online secara berlebihan tentu membawa dampak yang negatif atau positif. Hal ini akan berdampak pada pada perilaku siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh game online terhadap minat belajar siswa kelas X dan kelas XI. Penelitian ini dilaksakan di Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMAN UNGGULAN SUKMA NIAS yang beralamat di jalan Arah Nias Tengan km 7,5 Desa Fodo. Populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 33 orang siswa laki-laki. Penelitian ini di laksanakan dengan menggunakan wawancara dan observasi pada konteks belajar mereka.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the lack of use of the Student Workbook (BKS) at SMK Negeri 2 Mandrehe which resulted in low student motivation in the learning process. This study aims to develop Problem Based Learning Student Workbooks (BKS) based on Problem Based Learning in biology class X that are empirically feasible through validation of content/material experts, linguists, design experts, assessment of subject teachers, practicality (response), and effectiveness Developed BKS. This research is a development research using quantitative methods. The tool used to collect data is a validation form which includes aspects such as content/material, language, student response questionnaires, and academic achievement tests. The results of the Content/Material Validation study reached 98% with very valid criteria; Linguist validation reaches 100% with very valid criteria; Design Expert Validation reaches a percentage of 97% with very valid criteria; teacher verification reached 97%. With a 100% validation level in the research field, this standard is very valid. For field test results obtained a percentage of 96.25% (a very practical standard), and for the effectiveness of BKS obtained a very effective standard with an achievement percentage of 85% of student learning completeness, which is a very effective standard.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the teacher's teaching creativity on the absorption of students. The creativity of a teacher in teaching is the main factor in supporting the success of the learning process. Creative teachers are able to develop their abilities, new ideas and also new ways of teaching. To develop teaching creativity, a teacher must broaden his knowledge and skills in applying methods, strategies, models, learning media and making variations in the learning process. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with data collection using observation, interviews and also literature studies.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the response and motivation of students in reciprocal teaching learning, this study uses a quantitative method using an experimental design. Data collection was also carried out by distributing response questionnaires and students' learning motivation. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 4 Bawalato in class VIII. Where is class VIII - A which will be applied to Reciprocal Teaching learning and class VIII - B which will be applied to conventional learning. Based on the research that has been done, the class VIII-A and class VIII-B students' learning responses in the Experiment class increased the percentage score from 39.26 to 94.2. However, in the control class there was a decrease in the percentage score from 37.93 to 37.13. As well as in the learning motivation of students in the experimental class before treatment, namely 40.13 to 94.6. In the control class there was a slight increase from the percentage score of 38.6 to 48.53. With this research, reciprocal teaching learning can increase students' responses and motivation.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran alam disebabkan oleh model pendidikan tradisional. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi keefektifan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write dengan dialog kelompok kecil terhadap peningkatan kinerja siswa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Think Talk Write sebagai model pendidikan yang berbeda dengan metode ceramah. Pengamatan yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini dibuat dalam bentuk model pendidikan Think Talk Write. Siswa diajarkan berpikir melalui kegiatan membaca, berdiskusi melalui kegiatan diskusi, menulis pendapat, prestasi, dan melalui kegiatan menulis hasil diskusi, metodologi, dalam penelitian ini atau penelitian kualitatif atau deskriptif. Hasil tes belajar siswa digunakan sebagai instrumen penelitian, sehingga hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan keefektifan siswa dengan menggunakan metode diskusi kecil.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) strategies for implementing character education in schools; and (2) implementing the implementation of character education at UPTD Mandrehe 1 Public Middle School. This research is a qualitative descriptive study. Data collection was carried out by observation, interview and documentation techniques. Checking the validity of the data was carried out using a triangulation technique, namely by checking the information from interviews with documentation and observation. The results of the study show that the strategy for implementing character education at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Mandrehe can be carried out through: integrating values ​​and ethics in subjects, internalizing positive values ​​that are instilled by all school members, habituation and training, giving examples and role models, creating an atmosphere of character in schools , and culture. The implementation of character education at UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Mandrehe is carried out through integration between character building and learning, school management, and extracurricular activities.

Abstract

Residence is the presence of students or the presence of student houses. So the residence referred to in this study is the house occupied by students every day. Student learning outcomes can be influenced by internal factors and external factors of students. Internal factors of students include the level of intelligence, emotion, interest, psychology and talent. External factors include the educational level of parents, economic class, distance from home, teachers, teaching materials, learning environment and association. In accordance with the title of the journal, to find out about the absence of an effect of distance between residence and student learning outcomes, it is necessary to conduct research with the aim of providing input for publishers, especially junior high school level teachers. This study aims to determine the effect of the distance traveled by students to school on student achievement at school and to determine the relationship between the distance traveled by students to school on student achievement. This research is qualitative, the research instrument used is in the form of interview text in the form of fields, and also distributes essay tests to see student learning outcomes. In the research that has been done, there are locations where the house to school is too far away, 5 km away, and there is a short distance of 1 km. In accordance with the student data that has been contained in the table, it can be seen that the distance between the student's house and the school is one of the factors that influence student academic achievement.
