Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang analisis pesan moral dalam tayangan animasi Riko The Series episode 1-10 Season 2. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : 1) Untuk mengetahui makna denotasi pesan moral yang terkandung dalam tayangan animasi Riko The Series Season 2 Episode 1-10”. 2) Untuk mengetahui makna konotasi pesan moral yang terkandung dalam tayangan animasi “Riko The Series Season 2 Episode 1-10”. 3) Untuk mengetahui mitos pesan moral yang terkandungdalam tayangan animasi “Riko The Series Season 2 Episode 1-10”. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan berdasarkan pendekatan kualitatif yang menghasilkan deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan semiotika teori Roland Barthes. Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui dokumentasi untuk mencari data penelitian melalui scene (script film, gambar, atau pun film) dari kartun animasi Riko The Series pada epiosode1-10 Season 2. Hasil penelitian ini dalam animasi Riko The Series episode “1-10 Season 2” adalah 1. Terkandung beberapa pesan-pesan moral didalamnya yang meliputi Bijaksana, Kepedulian, Tanggung jawab, Kebaikan, Tolong Menolong, Kerja Sama, Pantang Menyerah, Sabar, Berbakti Kepada Orangtua, Berdoa, dan Berani. 2. Terdapat beberapa makna pesan moral yang terkandung dalam animasi Riko The Series episode 1-10 Season 2, terbagi dari beberapa scene adegan, yang menggunakan model analisis teori semiotika Rolan Barthes dengan menggunakan konsep makna denotasi, makna konotasi dan mitos untuk mendapatkan makna pesan moral yang terdapat dalam animasi ini.

Abstract

This research aims to understand the communication experiences of female Islamic boarding school students (santriwati) in watching Korean dramas. The research method used is a qualitative method phenomenology approach. The research data was obtained through in-depth interviews and participant observation with santriwati who have experience in watching Korean dramas. The results of the study show that the communication experiences of santriwati in watching Korean dramas involve aspects such as emotional involvement, identification with characters, exploration of Korean culture, and the use of social media. In this context, santriwati express that watching Korean dramas provides them with strong emotional experiences, such as feeling connected to the characters, experiencing the same emotions, and sharing happiness or sadness together. They also develop identification with the characters in Korean dramas, associating their own struggles and feelings with the stories depicted. Moreover, watching Korean dramas provides an opportunity for santriwati to learn about Korean culture. They are interested in traditional clothing, food, music, and social customs portrayed in the dramas. Some of them are even interested in learning the Korean language. Korean dramas also provide insights into everyday life in Korea and broaden their knowledge of the world. The use of social media is also an important part of santriwati's communication experiences in watching Korean dramas. They use social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram to share opinions, emotions, and recommendations about the dramas they watch. Social media also serves as a platform for them to connect with other Korean drama fans, both within and outside the santriwati community. This research provides a deep understanding of the communication experiences of santriwati in watching Korean dramas. The findings of this study can provide insights to cultural enthusiasts, drama producers, and other researchers on how Korean dramas can influence the emotions, identity, and social interactions of santriwati. The implications of this research can also be used in the development of cultural content and intercultural understanding among santriwati. Abstract

Film is a mass communication media tool that has a role in this era. Not only for entertainment but can be used as a medium of learning. Regardless of the development of technology and information that continues to develop, it has a similar impact on the development of film in the world. Film becomes a social discourse with unique characteristics that spread to various places, and a film psychoanalyst perspective to influence ways of thinking related to the perception and suitability of values where the information is communicated. Films in general also raise a theme or phenomenon that occurs in the midst of society. One such film is "Generation 90s: Melancholia" produced by Visinema Pictures which was adapted from a book with the same title namely "Generation 90s" written by Marcella FP. Previously, the screening of this film was delayed due to a pandemic, but after a year of delayed screening, finally with the condition of the pandemic having subsided, this film is being shown in several theaters and also Netflix. This film has a deep meaning of loss. Family and friends also feel a deep sense of loss because one of the characters, Indah, who died in a plane crash, was left behind. In this study, researchers used qualitative research methods and descriptive analysis techniques. The theory used is Roland Barthes' Semiotic Theory which consists of denotations, connotations and myths to find the meaning of loss in the film "Generation 90s: Melancholia". Abstract

The Lyrical Role of Jingle Luwak White Koffie Advertising in Identity Formation (Semiotic Analysis of Roland Barthes Model on the Lyric Roles of Luwak White Koffie Television Advertence Jingles Version of Tarik Malaka Featuring Via Vallen). The jingle advertising is used to deliver messages to the audience and as one of the communication strategies, to convey messages that risk the identity or purposes of the company itself. The purpose of this research is to find out how lyrics and visual jingle advertising luwak white coffee in the formation of identity and how the word selection strategy in lyrics writing jingle television advertising luwak white koffie in shaping identity. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis, with data collection techniques, observations of library studies and documentation. This research uses Roland Barthe's theory with denotations, connotations and myths. The results show that lyrics from the jingle advertisement luwak white koffie tarik malaka helped shape the identity of the product with the selection of supportive words in the lyrics of the advertisement.

Abstract

The lifestyle of people who move fast and are in direct contact with the internet, has caused the promotion model to be very relevant to be applied to both tourist destinations and tourism accommodation managers to do good imagery, recently it has graced the Instagram timeline of the many Instagram accounts that promote Indonesian tourism, especially regency areas. Majalengka, namely the Instagram account @exploremajalengka. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Instagram account @exploremajalengka promoting tourist objects or attractions on tourists' interest in visiting tourist attractions in Majalengka. This research uses a quantitative methodology and approach. The population in this study is the Cirebon Karawang Student Association (HIMACIKA) followers from the @exploremajalengka account which are known to number 70 people. The sample in this study were 60 respondents. The results of this study through a questionnaire research instrument. The percentage of variable X (Instagram account @exploremajalengka) is 92.5% and is categorized as very good. The percentage of the variable Y (interest in visiting tourist attractions in Majalengka) is 94.25% and is categorized as very good. The Product Moment correlation value between variables X (to Y) shows a number of 0.627, the correlation value of the relationship between the account variable @exploremajalengka and the variable interest in visiting (traveling) to tourist spots in Majalengka, the relationship between the two variables has a strong value. The determining coefficient (determination) shows that the R square value is 0.947, meaning that the correlation between variable X and variable Y is 94.7% and the rest is determined by other factors. The linear regression equation in this study is Y = 10.57 + 0.28 X. The t test shows that the independent variable has a specification of less than 0.05, tcount (3.809) > ttable (1.671). The F test on variable X on variable Y is 31.345 greater than F table 4.001.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The study entitled: Development of The United States – China Trade War in 2018 –2023: Analtsis Through Neo-Mercantilism Theory, aims to analyze the extent to which the trade war between the United States and China has an impact on the two countries. This research focuses in the form of a question How neo-mercantilism theory analyzes the development of the trade war by the United States and China in 2018-2023? Then, this research uses a literature study with a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The selection of a qualitative approach is based on the presentation of data in the form of writing and images as a description of the trade war between the United States and China. The descriptive method used in this study is used to identify and analyze the extent to which the trade war between China and the United States has a major war for the economic competition of the two countries and its subsequent effects. Research on the trade war between China and the United States provides a repertoire in international trade in particular and international relations in general. With this study, a further understanding will be obtained and how other countries anticipate and produce solutions to the trade war between the United States and China. Abstract

Pada era globalisasi ekonomi, kelompok negara BRICS (Brasil, Rusia, India, Tiongkok, dan Afrika Selatan) telah muncul sebagai kekuatan ekonomi yang signifikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh BRICS dalam kerja sama ekonomi global melalui analisis keterlibatannya terhadap perdagangan internasional, sistem keuangan internasional, dan dinamika kebijakan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menganalisis secara deskriptif pada data sekunder tentang perdagangan dan investasi dari periode waktu yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa BRICS memiliki dampak yang substansial dalam mengubah pola perdagangan internasional, dengan peningkatan signifikan dalam pangsa pasar global mereka. Dalam konteks kebijakan global, BRICS juga memainkan peran penting dalam reformasi lembaga-lembaga keuangan internasional seperti Dana Moneter Internasional (IMF) dan Bank Dunia. Negara-negara anggota BRICS telah memperjuangkan representasi yang lebih adil dan pengaruh yang lebih besar bagi negara-negara berkembang dalam lembaga-lembaga ini. Meskipun BRICS telah memberikan kontribusi positif dalam ekonomi global, tantangan dan ketidakpastian juga muncul, seperti perbedaan dalam kebijakan ekonomi dan geopolitik antara anggotanya. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk terus memantau evolusi BRICS dan dampaknya terhadap dinamika ekonomi global, sehingga kebijakan yang tepat dapat dirumuskan untuk mengoptimalkan manfaat dan mengatasi potensi risiko yang mungkin timbul.

Abstract

A Country basically cannot act alone in fulfilling its soft power goals abroad, for that the government forms state institutions that can be more flexible in approaching targets of other country's public. It is through this institution that public diplomacy with several dimensions and elements can be implemented as needed by the country of origin. Currently, diplomacy activities are not only carried out by the government, anyone can carry out diplomacy or what is better known as public diplomacy. Public diplomacy is one of the instruments used to increase cooperation in achieving the interests of the state by promoting something we have to foreign publics. One of the countries that has carried out public diplomacy is South Korea which has succeeded in capturing the hearts of the Indonesian people with its unique cultural popularity through the Korean Cultural Center (KCC). This study aims to determine the public diplomacy carried out by South Korea towards Indonesia in promoting its culture through the Korean Cultural Center. The results of the study show that the Korean Cultural Center can be a medium of public diplomacy that is able to help achieve the national interest of South Korea, namely promoting Korean culture to the Indonesian people.

Abstract

Indonesia has made efforts to maximize gastrodiplomacy to international countries, one of which is Australia. Currently, the gastrodiplomacy program that Indonesia is running from 2020 is the implementation of the Indonesia Spice Up The World program. The background of this research is how Indonesia's gastrodiplomacy strategy in improving nation branding in Australia? The method for this research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The results of this study show that the State of Indonesia has implemented various strategies which contain elements of the nation branding dimension. However, the implementation has not been optimal. It is recommended that there be further research on how to update other strategies of various parties ranging from the government, diaspora, and related parties in improving Indonesia's nation branding in Australia during the implementation of the Indonesia Spice Up The World program until 2024.

Abstract

Diplomacy is an activity or art of negotiating that is usually carried out by a representative in one country (diplomat), or an organization. Diplomacy is usually related to international relations engaged in socio-cultural, economic, and trade fields. One of the countries that often conduct diplomatic activities is South Korea. South Korea conducts diplomatic activities with the Indonesian state in the field of education, this is realized in the KOICA organization. KOICA is the Korea International Cooperation Agency, a South Korean-owned international agency that develops developing countries that intend to advance education in their country. Assistance provided in the form of cooperation programs, funds, and others. In particular, Korea has achieved a unique experience in which it has grown from one of the poorest countries in the world to one of the most economically advanced. This is indicated by the entry of Korean entered the OECD/DAC (Development Assistance Committee) on 25 November 2009. The knowledge and experience Korea gained from this transition is a valuable asset that enables KOICA to efficiently support the sustainable socio-economic development of developing countries. Partner countries and offer them hope for a better world..
