Abstract

This study aims to examine the relationship between parental involvement and social skills of students with SEN in the inclusive elementary primary. It also examines student factors, namely gender, types of disability, and level of impairment that can affect a student’s social skills. Participants were 365 parents of students with Special Educational Need (SEN) in inclusive elementary school. Parental involvement was measured using the Family Involvement Questionnaire. Students' social skills assessed using the Social Skills Improvement System. This research uses the quantitative method and correlational non-experimental design. The results showed that parents' involvement was significantly related to the social skills of students with SEN. It means that the more parents are involved in education, the higher the social skills of the children will have. In regards to demographic variables, only gender of children that can affect children’s social skills. Abstrak .Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubungan antara keterlibatan orang tua dan keterampilan sosial siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah dasar inklusif. Juga menguji faktor siswa seperti jenis kelamin, jenis dan tingkat hambatan yang dialami siswa terhadap keterampilan sosial yang dimilikinya. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 365 orang tua dari siswa berkebutuhan khusus di sekolah dasar inklusif. Keterlibatan orang tua diukur dengan menggunakan Family Involvement Questionnaire. Keterampilan sosial siswa dinilai dengan menggunakan Social Skills Improvement System. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan desain non-eksperimental korelasional. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan orang tua berhubungan signifikan dengan keterampilan siswa berkebutuhan khusus. Semakin orang tua terlibat dalam proses pendidikan, maka semakin tinggi keterampilan sosial yang dimiliki oleh anak. Berkaitan dengan variabel demografi, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hanya jenis kelamin siswa yang dapat memengaruhi keterampilan sosial siswa berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

Abstrak - Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana konflik batin tokoh utama serta faktor apa yang menyebabkan terjadinya konflik batin pada tokoh utama dalam roman Belenggu karya Armijn Pane”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan konflik batin tokoh utama berdasarkan teori psikoanalisis Sigmund Freud dan faktor penyebab konflik batin tokoh utama. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan (1)  membaca roman (2) mencatat data (3) menandai data (4) mendeskripsikan data (5) dan melakukan verifikasi data yang sudah dikumpulkan. Analisis data dilakukan peneliti melalui tahap berikut: (1) mengumpulkan data konflik  batin tokoh utama (2) menyeleksi data (3) analisis (4) melakukan verifikasi data kembali untuk memastikan kebenaran data (5) memaparkan data. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan: bentuk konflik batin tokoh Sukartono (Tono) yaitu konflik Mendekat-Menjauh (Approach-Avoidance Conflict) dan konflik Menjauh-Menjauh (Avoidance-Avoidance Conflict) yang dipengaruhi id  berwujud kebimbangan, kehilangan, dan berharap. Ego dan superego berwujud putus asa. Bentuk konflik batin tokoh Sumartini (Tini) yaitu konflik Mendekat-Menjauh (Approach-Avoidance Conflict) dan konflik Menjauh-Menjauh (Avoidance-Avoidance Conflict) yang dipengaruhi id berwujud kebimbangan, kesedihan, dan berharap. Ego berwujud tersiksa. Bentuk konflik batin tokoh Rohayah (Yah) yaitu konflik Mendekat-Menjauh (Approach-Avoidance Conflict) yang dipengaruhi id berwujud  kekhawatiran. Superego berwujud kebimbangan, kesedihan. Faktor penyebab konflik batin yaitu pernikahan tidak dilandasi rasa cinta, kesibukan, traumatik pada hubungan sebelumnya, kesetiaan dan kepercayaan.Kata Kunci: Konflik Batin, Tokoh, Novel/roman

Abstract

Keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar  di Universitas Sulawesi Barat yang masih rendah menjadi tantangan dalam pembelajaran Konsep Dasar IPA SD. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create (RADEC) terhadap peningkatan keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian control group design, melibatkan 76 mahasiswa dari dua kelas. Sebanyak 38 mahasiswa di kelas eksperimen dan 38 mahasiswa di kelas kontrol sebagai sampel penelitian. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes, dan dianalisis dengan Uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata skor keterampilan berpikir kritis pada kelas kontrol adalah 71,79, sedangkan kelas eksperimen mencapai 84,39. Uji independent sample t-test menghasilkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05, yang menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran RADEC berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Self-forgiveness has been proven to greatly benefit an individual's mental health and help them live a better life. This study aims to adapt a measuring instrument using Rasch modeling to obtain a valid and quality measuring instrument. In addition, the Rasch model can also predict missing data, evaluate the similarity of answers, and identify the seriousness of respondents. In adapting the measuring instrument, 6 stages must be carried out. The research subjects were 214 participants selected using convenience sampling with the criteria of early adulthood aged 18-25 years. Overall, this adaptation can be said to be good in measuring the construct of self-forgiveness in the context of Indonesian culture based on testing the Rasch model. The results of the data analysis that have been carried out using the Rasch model are that for person reliability it gets a value of 0.83 while for item reliability it gets a value of 0.99. The average value of INFIT MNSQ and OUTFIT MNSQ in people is 0.98 and 1.00, and in items, it is also 0.98 and 1.00. A value approaching 1.00 is considered good. For INFIT ZSTD and OUTFIT ZSTD, the average values for individuals were -0.2 and -0.1, while for items they were -0.3 and 0.0, with the ideal value approaching 0.0. The results show that these values are classified as good. In addition to obtaining an accurate measuring instrument, this study is also useful in clinical practice so that it can be used to identify and overcome obstacles in the self-forgiveness process.

Abstract

Parenting stress is an uncomfortable and unpleasant condition experienced by parents when raising children. This study aims to determine the mediating role of resilience in the relationship between self-compassion and parenting stress in working mothers. This study uses a quantitative correlational design method with a sampling technique used is purposive sampling, so that a sample of 86 working mothers with children aged 0-6 years was obtained. The data collection technique uses three scales, namely the self-compassion scale, the resilience scale, and the parenting stress scale. The analysis technique in this study uses effect mediation analysis, multiple regression, and correlation. The results showed that resilience acts as a partial mediator in the relationship between parenting stress and self-compassion with an estimate value of -0.046, p <0.01. The results also show a value of r = -0.640, p <0.01, which means that there is a significant negative relationship between self-compassion and parenting stress. Then the results show a value of r = -0.630 p <0.01, which means that there is a significant negative relationship between resilience and parenting stress. The results of the study indicate that resilience partially mediates the relationship between self-compassion and parenting stress. This means that there are other variables that can mediate the relationship between self-compassion and parenting stress, and self-compassion and resilience are needed in working mothers who have children aged 0-6 years to cope with stress that arises in parenting.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali efek mediasi career adaptability terhadap future time perspective dengan employability bagi mahasiswa yang berada di akhir masa perkuliahan. Employability adalah kesiapan kerja sebagai sebuah kemampuan individu dalam mendapatkan pekerjaan. Future time perspective merupakan pandangan masa depan yang ada pada tiap individu. Career adaptability adalah kesiapan individu dalam menghadapi tantangan atau tugas yang akan datang dalam situasi kerja, career adaptability sebagai variabel mediator yakni sebagai perantara antara future time perspective dan employability. Jenis Penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan alat ukur skala employability, future time perspevtive, dan career adaptability. Partisipan pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa yang berada di akhir masa perkuliahan pada perguruan tinggi di berbagai universitas yang ada di Indonesia berjumlah  150 orang. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode uji analisis hipotesis regresi menggunakan proses SPSS. Dari hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh langsung future time perspective terhadap employability tidak signifikan serta career adaptability terbukti mampu memediasi hubungan future time perspective dan employability. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah menjadi panduan bagi mahasiswa tingat akhir dalam mempersiapkan diri menghadapi dunia kerja. Pengembangan kemampuan adaptasi karir dan pandangan masa depan yang kuat akan memunculkan kesiapan kerja, baik secara fisik maupun mental. Kata Kunci: Career Adaptability, Future Time Perspective, Employability, Mahasiswa Tingkat Akhir AbstractThis research aims to explore the mediating effect of career adaptability on the relationship between future time perspective and employability for students who are at the end of the lecture period. Employability refers to an individual's readiness for work, encompassing their ability to secure employment. Future time perspective represents an individual's outlook on their future. Career adaptability is defined as an individual's preparedness to face upcoming challenges or task in the work environment, serving as a mediator between future time perspective and employability. This quantitative research employed measurement scales for employability, future time perspective, and career adaptability. Participants in this study are 150 students who are at the end of their college years university from various universities in Indonesia. Data were analyzed using hypothesis testing through regression analysis with process in SPSS. The results of this study show that effect of future time perspective between employability not significant, and career adaptability was found to mediate the relationship between future time perspective and employability. The implications of this study serve as a guide for final-year students in preparing for their transition into the workforce. Abstract

Stres pengasuhan adalah kondisi tidak nyaman dan tidak menyenangkan yang dialami orang tua saat mengasuh anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui peran mediasi resiliensi dalam hubungan self-compassion dengan stres pengasuhan pada ibu bekerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif desain korelasional dengan teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling, sehingga diperoleh sampel sebanyak 86 ibu bekerja yang mempunyai anak usia 0-6 tahun. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tiga skala, yaitu skala self-compassion, skala resiliensi, dan skala stres pengasuhan. Teknik analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan effect mediation analysis, regresi berganda, dan korelasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan resiliensi berperan sebagai mediator parsial pada hubungan stres pengasuhan dan self-compassion dengan nilai estimate value -0.046, p<0.01. Hasil juga menunjukkan nilai r = -0.640, p < 0.01 yang berarti terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara self-compassion dengan stres pengasuhan. Kemudian hasil menunjukkan nilai r = -0.630 p < 0.01 yang berarti terdapat hubungan negatif yang signifikan antara resiliensi dengan stres pengasuhan. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa resiliensi memediasi parsial hubungan self-compassion dan stres pengasuhan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah diperlukannya pelatihan self-compassion dan teknik resiliensi bagi ibu bekerja yang memiliki anak usia 0 – 6 tahun untuk mengendalikan stres pengasuhan yang mereka hadapi.

Abstract

This research is a classroom action research that aims to increase interest and learning outcomes of social studies through the application of a Fishbowl-type cooperative learning model in grade V students of SD Inpres Panciro, Bajeng District Gowa Regency. The subject of this study is a grade V student of SD Inpres Panciro, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency with a total of 15 students, consisting of 8 male students and 7 female students. This research was carried out in two cycles, namely cycle I which was carried out 3 meetings (the first and second meetings for the learning process and the third meeting for the assessment of science and science learning outcomes) and cycle II was also carried out 3 meetings. The two cycles were carried out for 2 months plus summarizing all existing research results. The results of the study show that the application of the Fishbowl type cooperative learning model has succeeded in significantly increasing student learning activity. In the first cycle, the student's learning activity was recorded at only 69%, which shows that most students have not shown maximum participation in the learning process. However, after the implementation of improvements in cycle II, student learning activity has increased significantly, reaching 89%. This shows an increase in student involvement and enthusiasm in participating in learning activities, which can be caused by the use of a more interesting and effective learning model in cycle II. The Fishbowl-type cooperative learning model has also proven to be very effective in improving student learning outcomes in science and science subjects. In the first cycle, the completeness of student learning only reached 47% with an average score of 66, which indicates that many students have not reached the expected competency standards. However, in the second cycle, there was a very significant increase with learning completeness increasing to 93% and the average student score rising to 84. This increase shows that the efforts made to improve learning strategies have a positive impact so that students are better able to understand the material and achieve better learning outcomes.

Abstract

Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) is a learning program recommended by the Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia to be implemented to increase students' mental health. This study aims to develop a psycho-education program called Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) based on participatory action research which results in 10 sessions for this program. Furthermore, researchers also examine the effectiveness of it in increasing teachers’ knowledge about student development, the student’s social skills, and student’s perceptions about the implementation of SEL in schools. The participants are 30 teachers from several schools who were assigned to the experimental group with a pre-post one group study design. Also, some teachers assessed 30 students to know the increase in their social skills, and five students participated in interview sessions. Before and after the implementation of the training program, teachers were given a pre-test and post-test related to the knowledge about student’s development (physics, cognitive, social, and emotional) and students were assessed by their teachers (pre and post) related to student’s social skills (communication, cooperation, assertive, responsible, empathy, engagement, self-control). Results showed there is increasing teacher’s knowledge about student’s development with Z = -3.839, p = 0.000 and also there is increasing in children’s social skills with the value t = -4.071, p = 0.000. Furthermore, based on student’s perceptions, there are five themes, and seven categories obtained, which is student’s feeling satisfied with the implementation of SEL in learning.

Abstract

Previous research revealed that violence against children is most often carried out by mothers with the main reason being to discipline their children and most of them have not received proper education regarding violence against children and how to raise children positively. Posyandu cadres are community agents who are an extension of government programs and have access to educate parents about violence against children. One strategy for increasing knowledge is psychoeducation which can be applied directly. Posyandu cadres regarding violence against children and emotional regulation. This research is a service-based research with a one-group pretest and posttest design with a sample size of 35 Posyandu cadres. The data analysis technique uses a paired sample t-test to determine the difference in scores before and after treatment. The research results showed that there was an increase in Posyandu cadres' knowledge regarding violence against toddlers and there was an increase in emotional regulation. These results show that implementing behaviour can increase participants' knowledge and attitudes.
