Abstract

Penulisan ilmiah lekat sekali kaitannya dalam perjalanan akademik sebagai seorang mahasiswa. Sebagai mahasiswa yang akan mempersiapkan tugas akhir diperlukan adanya penguatan dan kemampuan menulis karya ilmiah. Mahasiswa sering menganggap bahwa penulisan karya ilmiah merupakan suatu hal yang sulit dikerjakan. Salah satu kesulitan yang sering dialami mahasiswa yaitu menemukan penelitian terdahulu (literature review) baik berupa artikel, jurnal, maupun referensi lainnya. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk melatih dan mensosialisasikan aplikasi Harzing Publish or Perish. Peserta kegiatan adalah para mahasiswa Administrasi Bisnis Universitas Mulawarman. Metode dalam pelatihan ini berupa tindakan langsung dengan dilakukannya lokakarya (workshop) selama dua jam pertemuan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa sebanyak 92 orang. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi kegiatan pelatihan yang dilakukan, diketahui mahasiswa yang mengikuti pelatihan sejumlah 73,9% mampu menggunakan aplikasi Harzing Publish or Perish. Selain itu, dari peserta yang hadir juga juga mampu mengelola metadata yang ditemukan melalui aplikasi Harzing Publish or Perish untuk dipindahkan dan diolah ke aplikasi Mendeley.

Abstract

This research was conducted aiming to find out how the price and trust influences purchasing decisions with buying interest online as an intervening variable. By using the number of samples research as many as 100 respondents, as well as sampling conducted using non-probability sampling with a purposive sampling approach. Data collection using a questionnaire in the form of google form. Testing data analysis with instrument test method, classic assumption test, linear regression analysis multiplex, hypothesis testing and path analysis. The results of this study indicate that: (1) prices affect interest buy online shopping; (2) trust has an effect on buying interest on line; (3) price and trust have a simultaneous effect on purchase intention online shopping; (4) prices affect purchasing decisions; (5) trust influences purchasing decisions; (6) price and trust has a simultaneous effect on purchasing decisions; (7) interest buying online shopping has an effect on purchasing decisions; (8) prices through interest in buying online shopping has a direct effect on purchasing decisions; (9) Trust through interest in buying online shopping has a direct effect on buying decision.

Abstract

Sebagai generasi yang tumbuh dalam era digital, generasi z memiliki satu ciri yang sama, yaitu ketergantungannya pada teknologi serta sesuatu yang cenderung instan. Hal ini dapat berpengaruh ketika mereka beranjak dewasa dan mempersiapkan karier mereka. Untuk itu, diadakannya kegiatan sosialisasi ini, guna memberikan pemahaman bahwa karier di dunia kerja harus dipersiapkan dengan 3 tahapan, yaitu self-asssessment, axploration, dan taking-action. Tahapan-tahapan itulah yang nantinya akan membantu mereka untuk merencanakan karier mereka kedepannya. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 11 Mei 2024 secara daring ini dihadiri sebanyak 30 peserta generasi z yang berasal dari kota Samarinda, Kalimantan Timur. Hasil dari kegiatan ini cukup baik, dimana para generasi z yang menjadi peserta menunjukkan pemahaman terhadap materi yang dibawakan.

Abstract

Each company aims to develop the company to its full potential. For goals to be achieved smoothly, leaders need to pay attention to the performance of their employees. The implementation of organizational communication and work discipline will help control all actions and behavior of employees to always comply with the provisions that have become company rules. This study aims to see the effect of communication and work discipline on employee performance at the Kulo coffee shop in Samarinda. Organizational Communication (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) are used as independent variables while Employee Performance (Y) is the dependent variable. The type of research used is quantitative research with a survey research design. The data analysis used multiple linear regression techniques using SPSS version 22. The population in this study were all employees of Kedai Kopi Kulo Samarinda who got 30 employees and the sampling method saturated 30 respondents. The results of this study can be variable communication variables Organization (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) together (simultaneously) have a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y) at the Kulo Coffee Shop in Samarinda. With the work result of 0.650 which is at the level of a strong relationship, the results of the determination are 42.3% of the Employee Performance variable (Y) and the results of the Fount 9.994> Fable 3.35 then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, namely between the Work Communication variable (X1) and Work Discipline. (X2) has a positive effect simultaneously on Employee Performance (Y). For the leadership of the Kulo Coffee Shop, they can open discussion forums for employees, such as briefings every time so that the aspirations given by the leadership can be well received by employees. employee discipline level can apply rewards and punishments.

Abstract

The tourism potential of East Kalimantan is located in the Berau district, namely Derawan Island that offers charming marine tourism destinations and underwater parks that interest national and foreign tourists. The problem's urgency was collected from the field analysis results by observing, listening and interviewing all tourism actors on Derawan Island. From the results of identifying urgency or problems that occur as phenomena on Derawan Island, it will be the primary instrument in the GAP analysis, which becomes one of the methods to identify the right solution in creating recommendations for solving problems that occur on Derawan Island. The initial step considered in the development of ecotourism on Derawan Island is to determine a clear idea about the object that will be planned as an ecotourism object and strategies are used to develop it, as well as to conduct a feasibility study related to the weaknesses and strengths of the resources available in the area. To be used as the basis for preparing project plans, infrastructure development, operation of Pokdarwis (tourism awareness groups) as local tourism communities, determination of market (marketing) strategies, and product development as activities to increase tourism business capacity.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan pengaruh praktik manajemen rantai pasokan terhadap keunggulan kompetitif UKM; menganalisis pengaruh praktik manajemen rantai pasokan terhadap kinerja UKM; menentukan pengaruh keunggulan kompetitif terhadap kinerja UKM. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah UKM dan teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling dengan ukuran sampel sebanyak 150 pemilik UKM. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner daring yang didistribusikan melalui media sosial yang telah diuji validitas dan reliabilitasnya. Alat analisis data yang digunakan untuk menjawab hipotesis penelitian adalah SmartPLS. dengan tahapan pengujian validitas, reliabilitas, koefisien terminasi dan pengujian hipotesis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen rantai pasokan memiliki pengaruh langsung dan positif terhadap keunggulan kompetitif UKM, manajemen rantai pasokan memiliki dampak langsung dan positif terhadap kinerja UKM, keunggulan kompetitif memiliki pengaruh langsung dan positif terhadap kinerja UKM. UKM perlu terus meningkatkan keunggulan kompetitif dan manajemen rantai pasokan mereka untuk terus mengembangkan bisnis mereka.

Abstract

Kersik Village is located in Marangkayu District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan. Kersik village is called a tourist village because it has a famous tourist destination, namely Blue Kersik Beach. Biru Kersik Beach has the opportunity to utilize the mangrove ecosystem which has not been utilized productively by the surrounding community. Most of the people of Kersik Village do not understand the role provided by the mangrove ecosystem. Therefore, an empowerment effort is needed to increase community understanding by carrying out mangrove planting activities. The method used in this activity includes a survey stage, where this step aims to confirm the location of mangrove planting by identifying which areas need the most planting. As additional information, an interview process was also carried out at one of the organizations in Kersik Village, namely Sahabat Mangrove. The results to be achieved from this community service are (1) to instill an understanding in the younger generation as agents of future change regarding the role of mangroves so as to create a commitment to protecting and preserving the environment, especially the mangrove ecosystem as a potential owned by the region, namely the coastal tourist attraction of Biru Kersik Beach. , (2) the output target to be achieved from this service activity is the addition of mangrove vegetation as an effort to preserve the coastal ecosystem in Kersik Village, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. It is hoped that the community around the coastal tourism area of ??Biru Kersik Beach can be further programmed to carry out outreach regarding the ecological function of mangrove forests. Evaluation is carried out through regular monitoring of mangrove growth, such as (1) Measuring how many mangrove seedlings have successfully grown and survived after a certain period, (2) Observing the growth in height and diameter of mangrove stems over several months and (3) Checking the health condition of the mangrove, including leaves, stems, and roots to detect disease or other problems.

Abstract

This research has two objectives. The first objective is to describe compensation and the physical work environment which are predictors of employee work stress. Furthermore, this research will measure the impact of work stress on employee performance. The sample for this research is office employees and field employees, especially the bagging department (PPU) at PT. Borneo Etam Samudera with 57 respondents. The research method was carried out quantitatively and data collection used a questionnaire. The data in this research were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with data analysis techniques based on Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The research results show that all the proposed hypotheses are accepted. The results of this research prove that compensation and the physical work environment have a negative effect on employee work stress. On the other hand, the research results show that compensation and the physical work environment have a positive effect on employee performance. Work stress experienced by employees of PT. Borneo Etam Samudera is known to reduce their performance.

Abstract

Abstrak: Kegiatan Masa Orientasi Mahasiswa (MOM) Program Studi Administrasi Bisnis tahun 2024 memiliki peran penting dalam mempersiapkan mahasiswa baru menghadapi dunia perkuliahan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman yang mendalam mengenai program studi, etika akademik, sistem perkuliahan, serta berbagai peluang yang ada di kampus seperti Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa (PKM) dan Magang dalam program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM). Penelitian ini mengevaluasi dampak kegiatan MOM terhadap peningkatan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam berbagai aspek, seperti pemahaman prodi, etika dan soft skill, komunikasi, pengelolaan stres, serta pemahaman tentang sistem perkuliahan. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada setiap aspek keterampilan, dengan persentase peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 28,33%. Kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif terhadap kesiapan mahasiswa baru dalam menjalani kehidupan akademik dan sosial di kampus. Mahasiswa menunjukkan kesan positif terhadap pelaksanaan MOM dan berharap kegiatan serupa dapat dilaksanakan secara rutin untuk mendukung perkembangan akademik dan pribadi mahasiswa.Abstract: Student Orientation Period (MOM) activities for the 2024 Business Administration Study Program have an important role in preparing new students to face the world of college. The aim of this activity is to provide an in-depth understanding of study programs, academic ethics, the lecture system, as well as various opportunities that exist on campus such as the Student Creativity Program (PKM) and Internships in the Independent Campus Learning Program (MBKM). This research evaluates the impact of MOM activities on improving students' skills in various aspects, such as understanding study programs, ethics and soft skills, communication, stress management, and understanding of the lecture system. The evaluation results show a significant increase in every aspect of skills, with an average percentage increase of 28.33%. This activity has a positive impact on the readiness of new students in living academic and social life on campus.

Abstract

Penampilan dan kemampuan komunikasi memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk citra profesional individu di dunia kerja. Hal ini berkaitan dengan kesiapan seorang mahasiswa untuk memulai karir melalui program magang maupun bekerja.  Sebagai seseorang yang baru memasuki dunia kerja, mahasiswa memiliki beberapa kendala. Salah satu kendala yang dialami ialah kurangnya kesadaran akan pentingnya penampilan dan sikap dalam karir. Pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh penampilan fisik dan komunikasi dalam membangun citra profesional. Peserta kegiatan adalah mahasiswa Administrasi Bisnis Universitas Mulawarman. Metode dalam pelatihan berupa tindakan langsung di dalam kelas virtual selama satu jam. Kegiatan ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa sebanyak 62 orang. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa lebih dari 50% peserta menilai kegiatan ini bermanfaat dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta untuk memulai karir. Selain itu, pelatihan ini berhasil meningkatkan kesadaran dan pemahaman para peserta mengenai pentingnya citra profesional sebagai bekal untuk memasuki dunia kerja yang kompetitif.
