AbstractThe peer of counseling is a ministration process by fellow between one self and another in processing the adjustment. In this research, adjustment means students? processes to adapt themselves in entering the new surrounding, whether it is about friends, teachers, or school environtment. In order to help the students in getting to understand themselves, it is needed to be solved so the peer counseling is able to give its counsils to get the adjusment in the new surrounding. Therefore, the researcher wants to know deeper regarding the peer of counseling towards the adjusments of year-10 students at SMAN 9 Pontianak. The research probelm was ?how does the peer of counseling regarding students? adjustments to the year-10 students at SMAN 9 Pontianak??. This research aimed to know how the peer of counseling regarding students? adjustments to the year-10 students at SMAN 9 Pontianak. The method of this research was descriptive study in form of survey study research. The sample of this research were 38 of year-10 students at SMAN 9 Pontianak. This research used quantitative approach. The technique of data collection indirect communication with questionnaire as the data collection. Meanwhile, the technique of data analysis the researcher used percentage calculation. Based on the data analysis, the peer of counseling regarding students? adjusments to the year-10 students at SMAN 9 Pontianak significantly passed and as categorized as ?Good?.Keywords: Peer, Adjustments

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the factors forming discipline in the management of intra-school student organizations in SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak. The method used by using qualitative research approach method. The subjects of this study were 10 student council administrators and guidance and counseling teachers at Pontianak 2 Public Middle School. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques of direct communication and observation of data collection tools with observation guidelines and interview guidelines. While the data analysis technique uses formulas and domain analysis.The results of the findings based on observational and interview data of this study were analyzed and concluded that the factors forming the discipline of the management board of the SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak were: 1) Dominant Factors namely self-awareness in good categories, while those that must be considered in the formation of the discipline of the public junior high school student council 2 Pontianak is 2) Other Factors namely Examples with very poor categories. Based on table 4.1, the results of interviews and observations on the average formation of discipline in the board of directors of the SMP Negeri 2 Pontianak are 2.45 which are categorized sufficient. Keywords: formation of discipline, student council administrators

AbstractCareer choices is one of the most important decision-making processes in an individual's life. The decisions he makes will have an impact on what will pass in his life. It is important to establish a linkage or fit between individual personality types and certain career choices in which, in Holland's view, career selection and adjustment is a description of one's personality. Holland's theory also formulates personality types into six, among others, realistic, intellectual, social, conventional, enterprising, and artistic. The purpose of this research is to get information and describe about the relationship of personality type with career choice of students of class XI MAN 1 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method. Based on the results of this study indicate that the most dominant personality type of students class XI MAN 1 Pontianak is the conventional personality type achieved the score of 80% with the category "Very High." While career choices are the most dominant career choice in students XI MAN 1 Pontianak is the choice of realistic and social careers reached 77% with the category "High." Based on the results of research by using correlation method Pearson level, obtained correlation coefficient correlation rs = 0.881. This indicates a correlation. So it can be concluded that in this study "There is a correlation between personality types and career choices of XI brade students at MAN 1 Pontianak." Keywords: Personality Type, Career Choices

AbstractThis study contained the Role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Improving Student Learning Motivation. The problem in this study was how  the role of the teacher and the counseling as: (1) Motivator (2) Director (3) Initiator (4) Falisitator (5) Mediators (6) Evaluator. The method used descriptive method and the form of research is survey. The population is 45 people. This study used a quantitative approach. The data collection technique while the data collection tool is a questionnaire. The results of the study showed the Role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Improving Learning Motivation for Class X Students in Pontianak State High School in the category "Good". (1) The Role of Counseling Teachers as a 93% Motivator, with the category "Good". (2) The role of Counseling Teachers as Director is 98% in the "Good" category. (3) The role of the BK teacher as an initiator is 96% with the category "Good". (4) The role of Counseling Teachers as Falisiator is 96% with the category "Good". (5) The role of the BK teacher as a Mediator is 95%, with the category "Good". AbstractThe perception is a process for organizing and interpreting information and messages that are influenced by a number of psychological factors, including assumptions based on past experiences, moods and attitudes. Resident perception in this case refers to the implementation of group counseling which aims at the process of improvement, be it the behavior or positive attitude of the client towards a better, productive and recovery of drug dependence. The definition of drug abuse is the use of drugs and the like outside the purpose of treatment and science as well as medical indications and doctor's supervision for its own satisfaction which gives physical and psychological damage. So that there can be some appropriate adjustments so that group counseling gets an attractive appreciation by the residents. The problem in this study is "What is the resident's perception of the implementation of group counseling on drug abuse in Rehabilitas Rumah Rahayu Yayasan Plus Pontianak?". This study aims to determine the perceptions of residents about the implementation of group counseling. The method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach with a form of survey study. The sample of this study was 15 residents. Data collection techniques of this research are direct and indirect communication techniques with data collection tools in the form of questionnaires and interviews. Data analysis techniques use percentage calculations. Based on the analysis of the resident perception data about the overall group counseling implementation reached 79.06% with the "Good" category.Keywords: Resident Perception, Group Counseling, Drug Abuse.

AbstractThe students’ satisfaction is a reaction of feeling toward the experience acquired in the school with their expectation. Therefore, the students will satisfy if their perception toward the work of the BK teacher in giving his/her service could fulfil the students’ expectation, the students then will satisfy with the study guidance given in the school. This research aims to know the students’ satisfaction of VIII grade of SMP N 4 Sungai Raya toward the study guidance given by the teacher guidance and counseling, whether runs based on the students’ expectation. The methodology of this research is descriptive method with the quantitative approach with the study of survey form. Sample of this research were 40 students. The data analysis result shows that the students’ satisfaction level toward the study guidance is categorized “Satisfy Enough†with the percentage of 66,41 %. Based on the result above, it can be concluded that some students of VIII grade of SMP N 4 Sungai Raya were satisfied enough with the study guidance and some of them were not satisfied with the study guidance given by the school.Keywords: Student’s Satisfaction, Study Guidance

AbstractThis research aimed to describe the steps, planning, and the role of teacher guidance and counseling in planning career choices for class VIII students in public junior high schools. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Sources of the data in this research were eighth grade students of public junior high school. The technique used in this research is technique of indirect communication and direct communication. Based on the result of data analysis it can be concluded that students know how the steps in planning career choices with an average calculation of 70,12% are in good category, students know career choice planning with an average calculation of 77,91% in the good category, dan students know well the role of counceling teachers in providing career guidance service with an average calculation of 75,00% in the good category. AbstractGroup guidance services are activities that can support learners in an effort to develop their own potential and can utilize their own educational experiences through group dynamics. this study aims to analyze the implementation of group guidance by teachers counseling guidance on students VIII grade SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method and the form of research is survey form. The population in this study as many as 162 students and the sample in this study as many as 63 students. This research uses quantitative research. Data collecting technique used is indirect communication in the form of questionnaire. Data analysis techniques use the percentage formula. Based on the results of the analysis of group guidance by counseling guidance teachers achieve the score in the category of "Very Good". This shows that the implementation of group guidance by teachers counseling guidance on class VIII students SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak has been implemented very well. Keywords : Group guidance services, students of SMP Negeri 24 Pontianak.

AbstractThis thesis entitled "Case Study of Students who are Easily Angry Impact of Broken Home in SMAN 5 Pontianak". Common Problem in this research: "How to effort to alleviate students easily angry impact of broken home in SMAN 5 Pontianak?". As for the sub-problems: 1) How are the characteristics of students easily angry the impact of broken home in SMAN 5 Pontianak ?, 2) What factors cause students to easily anger the impact of broken home in SMAN 5 Pontianak ?, 3) What alternative assistance is appropriate to address students the irritable impact of broken home in SMAN 5 Pontianak ?. This study aims to reveal students easily angered the impact of broken home in SMAN 5 Pontianak. The approach used in this research is qualitative by using descriptive method. The form of research used is case study (case study). Data collecting techniques include direct observation, direct interview, home visit, and documentation. Based on the results of observations and interviews concluded the characteristics of students who have the nature of irritability that is often said roughly to berate his friend. The alternative assistance provided is to use the REBT and behavioral counseling approach with confrontation techniques and assertive techniques. AbstrackJuvenile delinquency in schools with various forms including ditching, chatting during class hours, running away from school during class hours, smoking, not doing homework, not wearing belts and socks, often late coming to school, cheating, and dating. Therefore researchers want to know more deeply about juvenile delinquency in students in class VIII SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. The problem in this study is "How is juvenile delinquency in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak?". This study aims to determine juvenile delinquency in grade VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method in the form of survey research studies. The sample of this study was 43 students of class VIII of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection technique of this research is the indirect communication technique with a questionnaire data collection tool. The data analysis technique uses percentage calculation. Based on the results of the analysis of juvenile delinquency data in class VIII students of SMP Negeri 3 Pontianak reached 80.56% with the category "very high". While the impact of juvenile delinquency reached 82.02% with the category "very high". And the effort to handle by BK teachers on juvenile delinquency reached 81.60% with the "very high" category.Keywords: Juvenile, Delinquency.
