Abstract

Although the issue ofhalal certification is no longer new, the fact that such certification is now being taken over by the government from the MUI under the act no. 33 year 2014 makes the issue relatively ‘new’ to consider. The legal act might have profound impacts and consequences for the community. This is because there are only few products in the market that have been officially certified halal. Although the community can provide control and supervision of any deviations that may occur on the halal certification, they seem to have low level of awareness of this issue. For this reason, there is a need to socialize halal certification to the community. The present article, therefore, will report on the outcome of community service under the title "strengthening community awareness of Halal certification in the area of Glundengan, Wuluhan".

Abstract

Kompetensi guru yang meliputi empat komponen menjadi keniscayaan yang tidak boleh dimarginalkan diantara keempat. Keseluruhan menjadi bagian yang integral sebagai pondasi yang mendukung tugas pokok dan fungsi pendidik/guru dalam pelaksanaan proses pendidikan dan pembelajaran. Sifat profesional, kreatif, inovatif dan menyenangkan menjadi indikator utama bahwa pembelajaran yang dilakukan oleh guru mampu dikonstruksi dalam rancangan pelaksanaan pembelajaran secara baik. Tuntutan kemampuan ini tersematkan kepada guru pada bidang studi apapun tidak terkecuali guru pendidikan agama Islam. Menghadirkan proses pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam yang kreatif dan inovatif sangat penting dilakukan agar pembelajaran berlangsung efektif dan efisien. Apalagi materi pembelajaran agama Islam yang tidak hanya melulu berkaitan dengan aspek ruhaniah namun juga lahiriah memerlukan usaha keras agar mampu menselaraskan dengan potensi-potensi sarana prasarana dan media yang dimiliki sekolah. Konsep learning by doing dengan metode pengamatan atau observasi merupakan langkah yang dapat digunakan guru dalam pembelajaran tersebut dengan memanfaat green house sebagai potensi yang dapat dimanfaatkan dalam pembelajaran agama Islam. Berkaitan dengan pembelajaran dengan sarana media green house, dengan metode pembelajaran berbasis observasi, siswa dapat diarahkan untuk mengenal buah-buahan dalam al-Qur’an dengan menyiapkan tanaman tersebut. Fakta ini akan menghasilkan, disamping siswa mengenal buah-buahan dalam al-Qur’an secara langsung, mengetahui ayat-ayat yang berkaitan materi tersebut. Integratif -interkonektif yang menjadi basis filosofis pembelajaran pendidikan agama Islam akan dapat direalisasikan secara komprehensif.

Abstract

Online learning is a problem solving during the Covid-19 pandemic. Al-Amin Muhammadaiyah Boarding School (MBS) of Bojonegoro as one of the educational institutions under the auspices of Muhammadiyah is consistent and obedient to the decision of both central and regional governments to eliminate offline learning as an effort to reduce the spread of the Covid-19 virus. The implementation of online learning at Al-Amin MBS of Bojonegoro uses google classroom, zoom metting and whatssapp application. The effectiveness and efficiency of online learning can be linked to the level of student learning activities related to attendance, doing assignments, discussions and others. The formulation of this research problem is How is the level of learning activity of Al-Amin MBS of Bojonegoro students in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic? The purpose of this study was to determine the level of student learning activity and the treatment strategies or treatment of Al-Amin MBS in the implementation of online learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with survey research type. The data analysis used quantitative descriptive method. The results showed that the level of student learning activity was in the active or good category. The treatment strategies or treatments prepared by Al-Amin MBS of Bojonegoro in online learning are reducing the duration of lesson time and requiring teachers to make a resume of each learning material.

Abstract

The online learning era found significant momentum when the coronavirus was spreading globally. Innovation, creativity and online learning tools increased significantly and rapidly. All levels of education, from early childhood to university, were racing to provide online learning. This context made the satisfaction dimension of necessity that must be realized by schools/educational institutions. Measurement of satisfaction in learning services was related to five dimensions including reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangible. This study aimed to look at the level of satisfaction and the factors that contribute to satisfaction of online learning during the covid-19 pandemic. This study used a qualitative approach with a survey research type based on quantitative descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the average level of satisfaction reached 75%. While, the contributing factors were methods and strategies, and also the discipline and feedback attitudes of the teachers.

Abstract

The level of student learning independence is a representation of the manifestation of various aspects both from internal and external factors of the students. The existence of motivation has an impact on self-awareness, creative, and critical attitudes of the students. It is also related to the effectiveness and efficiency of learning experienced by students. The role and the influence of learning independence can encourage student success in competency development. This study aims to look at the level of student learning independence in three SMP Muhammadiyah (Muhammadiyah Junior High School) in Jember, both as a whole and based on the gender of the students. This study uses a qualitative approach which research instrument is in the form of a questionnaire. The form of the answer is a choice using Likert scale which score range is 5-1 meaning positive-negative scale. The research respondents were 491 students of three schools. The data analysis techniques use percentages linked to five tabulation categories. The research results of those three schools illustrate that the level of student learning independence are good. Meanwhile, based on the gender aspect, the female students level of learning independence is higher than male students. Besides, the indicators having the lowest percentage on the aspect of student independence are making question examples and summaries of learning material.

Abstract

Religious moderation constitutes a popular terminology in the field of social and religious studies in Indonesia. The key point of this term concerns the manifestation of tolerance in social life, in addition to the equality of rights and humanity. The popularity of religious moderation is inseparable from the multicultural life of Indonesian society which is characterized with different religious beliefs. Muhammadiyah as a large religious organization in Indonesia has an important role and contribution in developing religious moderation in the life of many Muslims in the country. Many schools established by this organization have been designed and constructed on Islamic values as their philosophical basis for developing the curriculum. Hence, a number of subjects such as aqidah, akhlaq, and muamalah are always included as core content in these schools with the aim of fostering both knowledge and understanding of religion for students. The present study aimed thus to examine the influence of the dimensions of aqidah, akhlaq, and muamalah on students' religious moderation attitude in Muhammadiyah schools. The objectives of this study were simultaneously formulated in 4 hypotheses testing, 3 partial hypotheses, and one hypothesis. This research employed quantitative methods involving a multiple linear regression model. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire containing 40 questions on the Linkert scale. Respondents were 255 students from 3 Muhammadiyah junior high schools. The results showed that the hypothesis was partial in that only the dimension of aqidah showed a significant effect. As for the simultaneous hypothesis testing, the f-count value is 31.319 > f-table 2.64, with an influence value of 0.522 and a significant contribution of 27.2 percent on the R-square value.

Abstract

Human beings who continue to experience endless debates. Departing from western theory, starting from Aristotle's theory, Louis Pasteur, to Charles Darwin, who tried to rediscover the nature of the origin of life and human life which states that humans actually came from previous lives. Although the theory is often considered rational but in reality, it still raises many questions and doubts regarding the facts of human creation. The purpose of writing is to describe human terminology in Alquran and Ibn Arabi. The expected results are enlightenment about human nature in realizing our human meaning

Abstract

Education and character have great contact because the two are interdependent. There is some news regarding the waning value of character education in students, therefore the need for good character education. the focus of this research is (1) How are the values ​​of Kh. Ahmad dahlan in improving the Spiritual Intelligence of Jember Muhammadiyah Vocational High School students? (2) What are the Values ​​of Character Education Kh. Ahmad dahlan in improving the Social Intelligence of Jember Muhammadiyah Vocational High School students?. This study used a qualitative-descriptive approach at SMK Muhammadiyah Jember. Data collection procedures used observation, interviews, documentation with a total of 5 technical informants. The analysis included data categorization, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. As well as data validity using credibility. The results obtained from this study are (1) There is a Habituation of Character Education Values ​​Kh. Ahmad dahlan in improving the Spiritual Intelligence of students at SMK Muhammadiyah Jember Namely Religiosity namely Dhuha Prayer, Nationalism namely Commemorating Religious Holidays, Honest namely IstiqomahDuha prayer, Integrity namely Consistent upholding noble values. (2) There is habituation of Kh Character Education Values. Ahmad dahlan in improving the Spiritual Intelligence of students at the Muhammadiyah Jember Vocational School, namely Religiosity, namely Praying for sick friends, Nationalism, namely participating in the flag ceremony, Honest, namely Students not smoke at Integrity schools, namely Students wearing complete uniforms.

Abstract

The formation of values as the core of national education goals is certainly not immediately tangible for granted, but it takes an effort of education in a systematic and well-planned. One form of the government's efforts to achieve national education goals is to organize educational services for all citizens through units of the education as education providers track, level and type of education that is required by law.In this case, the school as an institution (institution) education which is a container where the educational process is done, have a complex and dynamic system. In its activities, the school is a place that is not just a gathering place for students and teachers, but are in the order of the system complex and interrelated. Keywords: education, values
