Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SDN Tanjung Duren Utara 02 Pagi Jakarta through the implementation of the TANDUR learning model in IPAS instruction. The research involved 16 fourth-grade students and was conducted during Cycle I of the Classroom Action Research. The method employed was the Classroom Action Research (CAR) model developed by Kemmis and McTaggart, consisting of the planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The data analysis technique used was descriptive quantitative analysis. Based on the implementation of the TANDUR model, the students’ average learning activity reached 100%, and the percentage of learning mastery achieved 100%. All students obtained scores above the Learning Objectives Achievement Criteria (KKTP). The findings indicate that students became more active, motivated, and demonstrated better understanding of IPAS materials. Thus, the TANDUR learning model is effective in significantly improving students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

The implementation of good learning can be seen from the determination of the learning method that chosen by teacher. Learning method that suitable will makes active students and get maximum learning outcomes as well as meaningful learning. In elementary school, science cannot only be in the form of theory and memorize, but also provides direct experience to increase students’ competencies. Teachers can use the demonstration method and demonstrating a process or event with real or imitation objects to students. Their thinking skills can arise when there are problems that they have to solve. This study aims to determine the improving learning outcomes on science lesson of human circulatory system through application demonstration learning method for fifth grades at SDN Bencongan VI with the classroom action research. The result showed that in the first cycle is 68% and the second cycle increased to 91%. The highest score of teacher avtivity also increased in second cycle to 90% and the highest score of students activity is 87,5% in the very good category.

Abstract

Abstract

This research is motivated by low student participation, lack of motivation, and suboptimal learning outcomes. Many students tend to be passive and less courageous in contributing to class discussions, which makes the learning atmosphere less interactive. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning activities in science on the material of changes in the state of matter in grade IV. The Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model is a learning model to improve students' problem-solving, collaboration, and critical thinking skills. This research was conducted in two cycles, each cycle includingplanning, implementation, observation, and reflection activities. The subjects of this study were 28 fourth-grade students of SDN Kedoya Selatan 04 Pagi. The data analysis techniques used were qualitative and quantitative data analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model can improve the learning activities of fourth-grade students of SDN Kedoya Selatan 04 Pagi on the material of changes in the state of matter. This can be seen from cycle 1 meeting 1 based on student learning activities with a percentage of 52% with a fairly good category, in cycle 1 meeting 2, there was an increase in student learning activities with a percentage of 61% with a good category. Then cycle 2 at meeting 1 student learning activities with a percentage of 82% with a very good category and in cycle 2 meeting 2, there was also an increase in student learning activities with a percentage of 87% with a very good category. From the 2 cycles that have been implemented, it turns out that the expected action intervention results have been achieved, namely achieving the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) of 85% exceeding the KKM.

Abstract

Children who think creatively have four indicators, namely originality or the ability to produce new and unique ideas, fluency or the ability to produce many ideas quickly, elaborative or the ability to explain ideas in detail, and flexibility or the ability to think from various perspectives. With project-based learning (PjBL), children can practice their creative thinking skills through learning activities that are tailored to the material taught. This study aims to evaluate students' creative thinking skills through the application of PjBL, especially in science subjects in grade IV B students at SDN Tanjung Duren Selatan 01 Pagi. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method by collecting data through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The results of the study show that the ability to think creatively through the application of project-based learning in Social Natural Sciences material is not good enough, it can be seen that the fluency indicator has a score of 77.4% and can be categorized as good, then in the flexibility indicator has a score of 19.3%, including the category of less, in the original indicator has a score of 61.2%, it can be categorized as sufficient because there are 3 groups that are able to answer teachers' questions about consumption examples with different answers. Then in the detailing category, having a score of 58.1% can be categorized as sufficient. From these results, it can be seen that there are 4 indicators of creative thinking but only 1 indicator is good, namely smoothness, then 2 other indicators are quite original and detailed, and there is 1 indicator that is still lacking, namely flexibility.
