Abstract

Kecelakaan kerja di sektor industri sering kali disebabkan oleh pengelolaan bahaya yang kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan Job Safety Analysis (JSA) dan Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRARC) serta menentukan kontrol yang efektif guna meminimalkan risiko kecelakaan kerja di Stasiun Rebusan Pabrik PTPN III PKS Rambutan (Persero). Metode yang digunakan mencakup identifikasi bahaya, penilaian risiko, serta pengembangan dan penerapan langkah-langkah pengendalian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengantisipasi kecelakaan kerja yang terjadi di stasiun rebusan PTPN III PKS Rambutan. Analisis menggunakan JSA dan HIRARC berhasil mengidentifikasi tingkat risiko pada masing-masing aktivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat enam aktivitas di stasiun rebusan yang memiliki potensi risiko kecelakaan kerja, termasuk lori terjatuh akibat rel licin, pekerja tersembur uap panas, tangan terjepit pintu, terjatuh dari tangga, dan bising yang berlebihan. Temuan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi perusahaan lain dalam menerapkan strategi serupa untuk meningkatkan keselamatan kerja.

Abstract

Pengguna jalan biasanya memilih rute terpendek untuk menghindari jarak, waktu, dan biaya yang mahal. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah masalah distribusi papan yang akan didistribusikan oleh PT Canang Indah ke beberapa konsumen yang ada di Kota Medan. Ketika datang ke kehidupan manusia, masalah rute terpendek menjadi topik yang menarik untuk dibahas. Ini disebabkan oleh fakta bahwa menghitung jarak antara beberapa titik yang dilalui memungkinkan untuk melakukan aktivitas dengan lebih efisien. Pada akhirnya, ini akan menjadi solusi untuk menemukan jarak opimal yang harus dilalui. Algoritma Djikstra adalah solusi yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Algoritma Dijkstra adalah metode yang dipakai untuk menentukan jarak terpendek dari simpul asal kesimpul tujuan yang melewati beberapa titik atau tempat. Dengan menggunakan Algoritma Djikstra, dapat diperoleh perbaikan rute yaitu titik yang harus dilalui oleh distributor agar biaya pengantaran menjadi optimal. PT Canang indah melakukan distribusi papan melalui titik X-A-B-C-D-F-E-G-H-X dengan jarak yang harus ditempuh adalah 83,4 km. Rute tersebut merupakan hasil optimal dalam menjalankan pendistribusian papan yang diperoleh melalui penggunaan Algoritma Djikstra

Abstract

PT Multimas Nabati Asahan is one of the vegetable oil producers that experiences a high frequency of sudden breakdowns in centrifugal pump machines, averaging 12 hours per month, which negatively impacts production target achievement, operational efficiency, and increased production costs. The research methodology includes the identification of critical components, failure analysis through Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Logic Tree Analysis (LTA) to determine the priority of maintenance actions. The research results show that the mechanical seal is the component with the highest RPN value of 504, followed by the rubber coupling and bearing. From the task selection results, maintenance action recommendations berupa time directed maintenance, condition based maintenance, and failure finding were obtained. The implementation of RCM is capable of reducing the frequency of sudden failures, optimizing maintenance costs, and improving the reliability and productivity of centrifugal pump machines. This research is expected to serve as a strategic reference in the machinery maintenance management system in the palm oil processing industry. Abstract

In the industrial era 4.0, the competition between corporate companies is getting tighter. This is a reference for the company's productivity in operating a product or service, one of which is PT.X. It can be seen from the running performance process, PT. X has constraints on the production performance process. Therefore, PT.X seeks to increase productivity in the production process. So that in this study, a proposal design was carried out on a standard operating procedure (SOP) using the Business Process Model (BPM) method. The result of the proposed design with BPM is to minimize the production time by 2 hours 40 minutes so that the production process can run more effectively and efficiently. With that, the best solution in handling this case research provides suggestions on the work process that is running with efficient improvements.

Abstract

UKM Prime Store operates as a retail store that sells various oils by taking oil from authorized oil distributors, distributing it to various motorbike repair shops and to as many agents as possible so that it reaches consumers. The strategic plan needs to be used due to the decline in market demand by 20% in 2019, where in 2018 2000 boxes were sold per month, but in 2019 only 1600 boxes were sold per month, in 2020 there was an increase of 10% at the beginning of the year to 1700- 1800 in January - June 2020, then decreased again until the end of 2020. The purpose of this research is to increase sales volume by utilizing technological advances, increasing sales through brochures and promotions. The methods used are the SWOT method, QSPM and the 4P method. From the strategic results obtained 6 strategies that can be used from QSPM data processing, it is hoped that UKM can increase sales by taking advantage of technological advances, and increase sales through brochures and promotions made by UKM. This research is expected to help companies and UKM affected by the pandemic to get up and increase the sales of their products again.

Abstract

The research is the qualitative and quantitative results using SWOT, STP, Marketing mix 7P, and cashflow for 3 years method analysis. This research aims to develop the business of PT Milala Wisata Tour & Travel during Covid-19 pandemic by using a typical culinary side business so that the main business can survive. SWOT analysis is a way to systematically identify various factors in order to formulate company strategy. The data collection technique carried out by the researcher is by direct observation conducted at the company and conducting interviews with the owner of PT. Milala Wisata Tour & Travel. Also by adding from reading books and also other sources related to the research title. The 7P Marketing mix includes price, product, process, people, physical evidance, promotion, place. To find out the strengths, weaknesses, and feasibility of typical culinary side businesses, an analysis is first carried out to find out how the target market is The data obtained from the collection and then analyzed using the Internal Rate of Return & Cashflow for 3 years to see the feasibility level of typical culinary side businesses are suitable and able to support the main business of the The results of research from Cashflow for 3 years show that a typical culinary side business deserves to be realized as a support for main business during the Covid-19 pandemic. Typical culinary side businesses have strengths and are in line with the travel business so they can take advantage of existing opportunities.

Abstract

Melalui Peraturan Pemerintah No. 70 tahun 2009 tentang Konservasi Energi, pemerintah telah mewajibkan bagi pengguna energi besar yaitu pengguna yang menggunakan energi sama atau lebih dari 6000 setara ton minyak per tahun wajib melaksanakan kegiatan konservasi energi atau manajemen energi. Dalam penelitian di objek penelitian yang merupakan perusahaan ban, perusahaan tersebut merupakan salah satu industri yang menggunakan energi lebih dari 6000 setara ton minyak per tahun dan merupakan salah satu industri yang secara langsung memberikan dampak bagi penyediaan energi nasional. Menyadari dampak dari ketersediaan dan kenaikan harga energi ini terutama bagi industri, maka perusahaan dituntut perlu melakukan tindakan yang tepat dan bijaksana dalam mengkonsumsi energi melalui program konservasi dan penghematan energi. Penerapan Manajemen Energi yang terlihat di perusahaan masih digabungkan dengan struktur fungsional organisasi yang ada sehingga fungsi kontrolnya menjadi lemah. Pentingnya penentuan prioritas dalam melaksanakan konservasi energi, dengan menggunakan metode diagram pareto 20/80 akan memberikan penyusunan sasaran yang lebih tepat dalam mencapai efisiensi energi. Pemilihan prioritas akan memberikan potensi yang cukup besar untuk peningkatan kinerja energi, di samping itu penentuan prioritas akan membuat organisasi lebih efektif dan efisien.

Abstract

PT. Cahaya Baru Shipyard is a company engaged in ship repair. Activities in shipyards have various risks, one of which is work accidents. The research aims to determine the risk of work accidents from shipbuilding activities, risk control and suggestions for improvement. This study identifies risks using the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) method and assisted by the Hazard And Operability Study (HAZOP) method to control potential hazards and recommendations for new safety systems to minimize work accidents. The research method used is qualitative. The results of the study show that most work accidents occur in welding and cutting activities with a percentage of 23.3%. Providing personal protective equipment and workers reminding each other to use safety equipment and to remain careful in doing their work, implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and existing work instructions can be a way that can be done to minimize work accidents.

Abstract

Distribution is an activity carried out to spread the product throughout the market so that consumers can buy it. Distribution can also affect the price of goods. Therefore, the distribution must be effective. The purpose of this study is to determine the shortest route that is effective in distribution so that product prices are not high and the company does not suffer losses. The data analysis method used is Dijkstra's Algorithm obtained with data on the distance between the starting point and the destination point through predetermined points. The calculation results show that the shortest and fastest routes to be taken based on the dijkstra algorithm are: A-20-19-F-26-C-D-11-12-B-E with a distance of 40.71 km. There are several road routes that can be chosen to be used but the shortest route that can be taken is 40.71 km. Medan Rice Distributors are expected to choose the shortest transportation route so that rice distribution can be carried out quickly and optimally.

Abstract

Reliability Centered Maintenance is a structured approach to identifying maintenance needs based on the function and potential failure of a system. By conducting an in-depth analysis of the function and failure of boiler engine components, this research aims to formulate the most optimal maintenance strategy. This strategy is expected to increase the overall reliability of the boiler machine and at the same time reduce the maintenance costs required. This research begins with creating a function block diagram to map the main functions and sub-functions of the boiler machine. After that, a failure mode analysis is carried out to determine its impact using the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis method) which aims to identify potential failures in each component and the consequences they cause. So it is hoped that this research can determine appropriate maintenance actions to prevent or minimize the possibility of failure. The final result of this research is structured and effective maintenance recommendations for boiler engines. These recommendations include treatment strategies tailored to previously identified functions, failure modes, and impacts. By implementing the recommendations from this research, it is hoped that the performance and service life of the boiler machine can be improved significantly.
