Abstract

This research is driven by the high risk of production disruptions at PT. Central Proteina Prima Tbk. due to the uncertain availability of rice bran and wheat bran pollard raw materials. Inefficient inventory management potentially leads to inflated holding costs (overstock) or operational shutdowns caused by stockouts; therefore, optimized inventory control is essential. Utilizing a quantitative approach through the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, this study determines the optimal order quantity while calculating Safety Stock (SS) and the Reorder Point (ROP)—with a 5-day lead time assumption—to maintain stock stability. Analysis of a 12-week period involving the consumption of 61.2 tons of rice bran and 40.8 tons of wheat bran pollard yielded specific technical parameters: for rice bran, a safety stock of 14.52 tons and an ROP of 18.16 tons; and for wheat bran pollard, a safety stock of 17.2 tons and an ROP of 19.59 tons. Overall, the integrated application of EOQ, SS, and ROP methods is proven effective in enhancing cost efficiency and ensuring the optimal continuity of the company's production processes.

Abstract

Indonesia, as an archipelagic nation, faces significant challenges in establishing an efficient food logistics system, particularly in major agricultural centers such as Karo Regency, North Sumatra. This region is recognized as a key producer of vegetables including cabbage, carrots, and tomatoes, contributing strategically to national food security. However, the distribution system has been hindered by extended supply chains, limited infrastructure, and information asymmetry among supply chain actors. This study was conducted to design an optimal distribution network and to evaluate the efficiency of cost allocation using Linear Programming (Minimum Least Cost Allocation) and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP) methods. Data were collected through field surveys, interviews, and secondary sources from the Central Bureau of Statistics. The findings indicated that the distribution of cabbage and carrots was relatively efficient, while tomatoes experienced significant supply shortages. DRP analysis for the next four periods projected a positive inventory trend, yet declining stock levels highlighted the need for more accurate demand forecasting. Integration of local food systems into national logistics models and the adoption of digital distribution systems were identified as potential solutions. This study is expected to serve as a reference for developing resilient agricultural logistics policies in other regions. Keywords: Food Logistics, Distribution Network, Linear Programming, Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP), Agricultural Supply Chain, Karo Regency.

Abstract

Abstract

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is a crucial strategy for retaining customers and preventing them from switching to competitors. This study examines the effects of CRM, service quality, and trust on patient retention through patient satisfaction among inpatients using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) approach. The results indicate that the measurement model satisfies the required reliability and validity criteria. The coefficient of determination (R²) is 0.404 for patient satisfaction and 0.554 for patient retention, indicating moderate to substantial explanatory power. CRM and service quality have positive and significant effects on both patient satisfaction and patient retention, whereas trust has no significant effect on either variable. Patient satisfaction significantly influences patient retention but does not mediate the relationships between CRM, service quality, trust, and patient retention. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening CRM implementation and improving service quality to enhance BPJS inpatient retention and foster long-term patient loyalty.

Abstract

This study aims to design a logistics performance measurement system at PT. XYZ is using the BSC approach combined with KPIs. The company operates in the field of steam turbine maintenance and repair services for the palm oil industry, but does not yet have a structured logistics performance evaluation system. The study was conducted for six months through interviews, observations, questionnaires, and documentation studies. The evaluation covered four BSC perspectives: financial, customer, internal processes, and learning and growth, with KPI analysis for each perspective. The results show that logistics performance fluctuates, especially in the aspects of customer satisfaction and employee training. A relationship was found between the perspectives, namely that decreased training has an impact on increasing delivery errors. The BSC and KPI approach has been proven to provide a comprehensive picture of logistics performance and is relevant to support strategic management. Recommendations include strategy integration, strengthening training, and improving service quality for sustainable efficiency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze operational risks in receivables management at PT XYZ using Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and House of Risk (HOR) methods. Data were obtained from the Prima Application and internal company documents. The FMEA method was used to identify risk priorities based on the Risk Priority Number (RPN), while HOR was used to determine mitigation strategies based on Aggregate Risk Priority (ARP) and Effectiveness to Difficulty (ETD). The results indicate that the main risks include payment delays, administrative errors, and customers’ inability to fulfill payment obligations. The primary causes are weak customer verification, ineffective credit policies, and lack of receivables monitoring. Priority mitigation strategies include routine receivables monitoring, implementation of invoice SOPs, and stricter credit policies. The combination of both methods provides a more comprehensive and effective risk analysis. Keywords: operational risk, FMEA, House of Risk, risk mitigation, receivables
