Abstract

Judging from the development of science and technology (IPTEK) today, everyone is competing to catch up in business, expertise and education, especially the issue of globalization which is starting to enter Indonesia where quality resources are the benchmark in recruiting workers to join. labor. Based on data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) the number of the workforce in February 2020 was 137.91 million people, an increase of 1.73 million people compared to February 2019. Likewise in Batam, which is known as an industrial center which makes many job candidates come here to complain. fate. In this case the job owner must be more selective in increasing the criteria for employees to be accepted including PT. Indoland, this research will utilize the datamining algorithm analysis technique C4.5 to analyze the criteria for accepting prospective employees at PT. Indoland by using entorpy calculations and the highest profit from several the variables that have been determined, the criteria that greatly affect acceptance are education, age and health which are the main considerations.

Abstract

The development of science and technology in China is so fast that many countries have made Mandarin as their second language and Mandarin has a very important role in the process of communication between countries and beneficial for business sector, education and other sectors. For students who take 3 levels of formal education must be taught Mandarin at school. Android devices have been widely recognized and used by teenagers to adults because the price of android devices is relatively cheaper compared to IOS and Playstore on Android provides a wide selection of applications. The purpose of this research is to improve the ability and makes it easier for students to learn Mandarin. The design of the application uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method have 6 step, which consist Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing and Distribution. The design of an Android-based mandarin learning application is designed by using photo and audio media to help increase student interest in learning Mandarin and students also can learn Mandarin outside of school hours. The result of application testing is application has been function properly on android devices and available on the playstore to make it easier for students to install applications.

Abstract

The emergence of the Covid-19 vaccine currently brings major changes to the growth of the retail business in 2021 where the retail business is more developed and has improved better than the previous year. The more rapidly the minimarket is developing, the tighter the competition between minimarket entrepreneurs, so they are required to find a strategy that can increase sales. The mini market that is competing in Batam at this time is Jack's Mart. Jack's Mart is currently experiencing an increase in sales due to its location close to the SP Square, which makes this store often visited by consumers. The problem that arises at this time is that Jack's mart has not utilized transaction data during consumer buying and selling activities, in addition, the placement of goods in the store is also not in accordance with consumer behavior. To overcome this problem, data mining can be applied with the Market Basket Analysis method which aims to find products purchased by consumers simultaneously. The results in this study found the highest position products, namely mineral water, Snacks, and Soft Drinks with 33,33% Support and 100,00% confidence.

Abstract

Credit is one of the easiest alternative solutions for those who need financial support, either to be used to meet consumptive needs, as business capital or for other purposes. With credit assistance, people's living standards will be better and other needs that could not be realized before can be fulfilled to the fullest, which makes many people choose credit as a solution for funding needs. PT BPR Buana Arta Mulia is a banking company which one of its operational activities is to provide services for providing funds or credit loans to prospective debtors, problems that are still often faced by banks so far are regarding arrears made by debtors and several cases related to bad loans. So far, the bank has a collection of data regarding the credit application history of prospective debtors that has not been used optimally so that the author intends to conduct an analysis of the data to find out the hidden rules in determining the feasibility of receiving credit loans with the aim of improving the quality of the credit analysis results as well as an evaluation material for determining creditworthiness in the future. In this study, data mining classification techniques will be used with the C4.5 algorithm model in carrying out the analysis process and to ensure the correctness of the decisions obtained through manual calculations, testing will be carried out using the WEKA 3.9.5 software. the results of the rules generated either from manual calculations or using WEKA are the same and from the results obtained indicate that there are two variables that have the most influence in determining creditworthiness, namely from collateral value and income variables.

Abstract

Nowadays, the cosmetic industry is constantly developing as the economic keep ascending. In this industry, innovation for skincare or bodycare treatment attracts more consumers. Kiki Ms Glow is one of the retails that selling cosmetics and bodycares. In transaction, they uses cash and manual reports. Because of that, analyzing consumers cross selling is needed to know consumer buy patterns and sales growth. A way to know conditions for observing sales transaction data by using data mining. The method that used to analyze market basket is the association rule. The association rule able to give product recommendations, so that the marketing strategy is more focused and the products promoted are the customer's wants. At Kiki Ms Glow, the deduction of product recomendations are acquired from analyzing of sales transaction data reports. The motive of this study is get to know consumer’s buying pattern using algorithm FP-Growth in producing product recommendation rules on a large number of datasets so that they can provide technical recommendations. The results obtained are from the highest by a minimum support value of 20% and a minimum value of 70% confidence, and the result is found 2 rules

Abstract

There were many troubles which have found that it is difficult for HRD to predict employee performance because the HRD section can see data recap from the aspect of employee absenteeism or delay. The use of a structured application approach regarding data mining will be applied to determine which employees are entitled to receive prizes, as a result it will not be difficult for the company. C4.5 is used to determine which employees are entitled to receive rewards according to their own background, interests and abilities. The variables are checking work performance, employee discipline, targets that have been achieved, teamwork and ability to work. test and assessment results show that Decision Tree C4.5 is accurate to determine which employees are entitled to get rewards from the company

Abstract

PT Batam Bangun Prathama is a company engaged in the distribution of building and construction materials that imports building and construction materials such as iron tiles, angle iron, and others in Riau Islands. With 25 years of experience, PT Batam Bangun Prathama has been trusted by the Riau Islands community as a distributor of complete building and construction materials so that product standards cannot be doubted. At this time the problem that is being faced by the company when conducting the initial survey is that there are often cases where there is an imbalance between supply and demand for goods. The large number of buyers and the diversity of tastes in the goods they have makes it difficult for PT Batam Bangun Prathama to predict the best-selling items so that it cannot anticipate running out of these items by providing more stock than before. To overcome this, a prediction system is needed for the sale of goods that are most requested by consumers. This prediction will be useful to make it easier for the building stock provider at PT Batam Bangun Prathama in planning the supply of goods and informing the company about the products most purchased by consumers. The results of this research are a tree of sales prediction decisions with the highest gain value, namely price, quality and warranty as factors that greatly affect the availability of goods.

Abstract

PT Waen Indonesia is a professional company specializing in plastic production that provides goods such as LDPE, HDPE, PET, ABS, PS/HIPS, GPPS, PC, PMMA, Silicon, POM, PPS, PBT, and so on. As the years pass, employees at PT Waen Indonesia are often dissatisfied with the annual bonuses they receive, so this problem causes a lack of employee performance, employee discipline, and employee loyalty to PT Waen Indonesia. With a big motto in the global market, PT Waen Indonesia, of course, must have quality human resources. One of them is in improving employee performance, employee discipline, and employee loyalty to PT Waen Indonesia, then every year the leadership of PT Waen Indonesia gives bonuses to employees. PT Waen Indonesia has quite a lot of employees, so with the number of employees to be analyzed, a company leader must work hard in analyzing which employees are eligible to receive this annual bonus. The results of the decision tree that have been tested produce the highest gain value which is an important factor because it has a large enough influence in determining the annual bonus for PT Waen Indonesia employees, these factors come from the attributes of years of service, targets, and attendance.

Abstract

The role of human resources in company activities is needed because they are the main factor in all of activities that will be carried out by the company to achieve its goals, both to gain profits and to maintain the company's business continuity. The quality of Human Resources (HR) is one of most important factors to increase the productivities of the performance of an organization or agency. One of the efforts to maximize the company's revenue by Super Market Lotte Wholesale Batam is the recruitment of employees by means of selection. The recruitment selection process has not yet been carried out in a professional manner, but is carried out by means of friendship, kinship and work relations. The method that will be used in this study is the C4.5 Algorithm classification with the aim of research to get employees who are in accordance with the company's determination, so that they can advance the company and can achieve sales targets well. The results of the classification using the C4.5 Algorithm are the rules of the highest gain value obtained, namely the entrance exam, achievement and graduate tests.

Abstract

This study aims to design a web-based Batam City tourism information system as a source of information to find out tourist attractions and other wealth in Batam. The tourist attraction information system in Batam City is made with the PHP programming language and the data is stored in a database that uses MYSQL to improve system performance in data storage. Google Maps API is one of the facilities in the design of this information system that can be used to add maps to the website using JavaScript.
