Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan pemahaman guru dalam memanfaatkan google form sebagai instrument belajar siswa di SD. Kegiatan ini dilakukan melalui 3 tahap yaitu metode Participatory Rural Apraisal (PRA). Metode PRA tersebut dibagi menjadi tiga tahap yaitu persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan Refleksi. Pada tahap persiapan, dari kebijaksanaan yang diambil dalam pembelajaran daring, ditemukan berbagai masalah dalam pendistribusian evaluasi belajar, untuk itu dipersiapkan berbagai alat dan bahan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan. Pada pelaksanaan, guru terlihat sangat antusias dan mampu mengembangkan berbagai bentuk soal pembelajaran dari pilihan ganda, isian, dan mencocokkan. Pada tahap refleksi didapat hasil pretes dan postes yang meningkat. Diharapkan pengabdian ini dapat terus dilakukan khususnya dari segi fleksibiltasnya dalam pembelajaran daring

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model DRTA berbantuan flash card terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa kelas III Sanggar Belajar Kepong, Malaysia. Penelitian menggunakan desain One Group Pretest–Posttest dengan melibatkan 15 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen. Instrumen lembar observasi yang telah divalidasi secara isi oleh ahli. Prosedur penelitian meliputi pemberian pretest, penerapan model DRTA berbantuan flash card selama beberapa pertemuan, dan pemberian posttest. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk dan uji t berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa skor rata-rata meningkat dari 59,07 pada pretest menjadi 76,14 pada posttest. Uji t berpasangan menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan antara kedua skor (p = 0,001 < 0,05), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model DRTA berbantuan flash card efektif meningkatkan kemampuan membaca pemahaman siswa. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan agar guru memasukkan strategi DRTA dan penggunaan media visual seperti flash card dalam pembelajaran membaca untuk meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui Langkah-langkah pengembangan bahan ajar Silent Book berbasis Project Based Learning (PjBL) pada mata pelajaran IPAS Fase C di SDS Al Washliyah Medan Area, penelitian menggunakan Model ADDIE yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Hasil pengembanagn bahan ajar oleh validator para ahli yaitu ahli materi 99% kategori “sangat layak”, ahli media 96% kategori “sangat layak”, dan ahli Bahasa 100% kategori “sangat layak”. Uji coba kepraktisan dilakukan oleh respon guru dan respon siswa yaitu respon guru 95% kategori “sangat praktis”, dan respon murid 90% kategori “sangat praktis”, uji coba dilakukan pada 12 siswa kelas V SDS Al Washliyah Medan Area.

Abstract

Teacher competency scores in Indonesia remain suboptimal, with an average score of 57 out of 100 in 2019. Specifically, Indonesia's teacher quality ranked 14th out of 14 developing countries according to UNESCO's 2016 GEM Report. To address these challenges, the Ministry of Education and Culture launched the Guru Penggerak program to enhance educational quality through student-centered learning and professional development. This study aims to improve the professional competencies of Guru Penggerak Batch 10 teachers in Medan City by constructing teaching modules using the WHERE TO framework within the context of differentiated learning and the Merdeka Curriculum. The research utilized a one-shot pretest-posttest group design conducted over two cycles. Participants included Batch 10 prospective Guru Penggerak teachers who underwent workshops and intensive mentoring. Data were collected via performance tests focusing on lesson plan design and analyzed using an independent T-test. Quantitative analysis revealed a significant improvement in teacher competencies, with average scores reaching 88 after two cycles. Statistical testing yielded a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating that the WHERE TO framework significantly impacts competency escalation. The framework encompassing Where, Hook, Explore, Reflect, Evaluate, Tailored, and Organized effectively addressed gaps in systematic instructional design and student-centered sequencing. The construction of WHERE TO-based learning activities serves as an effective integrative mechanism for developing multiple teacher competency domains, including curriculum knowledge, planning, and assessment. This approach fosters innovative thinking and professional autonomy among teachers in the Medan City region.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Connecting, Organizing, Reflecting, and Extending (CORE) learning model integrated with Problem Based Learning (PBL) in improving the mathematical problem-solving abilities of PGSD students. A quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group pretest–posttest design was employed. The participants consisted of 62 fourth-semester PGSD students at Universitas Muhammadiyah Sumatera Utara in the 2024/2025 academic year, divided into an experimental group (n=32) and a control group (n=30). Research instruments included a mathematical problem-solving test, observation sheets, and reflective journals. Data analysis revealed a significant difference between the two groups, with the experimental group achieving a higher mean score (82.53) than the control group (71.67), supported by a t-value of 5.742 (p0.001). The N-gain results indicated a moderate improvement in the experimental group (0.58), exceeding that of the control group (0.31). Students in the experimental class demonstrated better performance across all problem-solving indicators, particularly in rechecking the solution process and results. Qualitative findings further showed improvements in conceptual understanding, strategic thinking, confidence, and collaboration. Overall, integrating CORE and PBL creates meaningful learning experiences and effectively enhances students’ mathematical problem-solving competence
