Abstract

Language acquisition during early childhood represents a critical stage in cognitive and social development. This study investigates the language acquisition of a two-year-old child living in Medan, Indonesia, focusing on vocabulary growth, sentence structure, and caregiver interaction. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, naturalistic observations were conducted over two weeks, documenting the child’s spontaneous speech and communicative exchanges. The findings reveal that the child produced approximately 75 distinct words, primarily nouns and verbs, reflecting daily routines and immediate surroundings. The child’s utterances were dominated by two-word combinations and telegraphic speech, consistent with Brown’s (1973) two-word stage. Caregiver interaction played a central role, with prompting, expansion, and feedback serving as scaffolding mechanisms that enriched the child’s linguistic development. Comparisons with recent studies confirm the universality of these developmental patterns while highlighting cultural and contextual influences on vocabulary and sentence use. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) dampak kenaikan harga kedelai terhadap kelayakan usaha tahu tempe pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Desa Lambusa Kecamatan Konda Kabupaten Konawe Selatan, dan 2) sensitivitas usaha tahu dan tempe bisnis tempe saat harga kedelai naik turun di masa pandemi Covid-19. di Desa Lambusa, Kecamatan Konda, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan Januari sampai dengan Februari 2022 di Industri Tahu Tempe Benjo milik Parwoto Maulana di Desa Lambusa, Kecamatan Konda, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis kelayakan finansial yang terdiri dari Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), dan Net Benefit Cost Ratio (Net B/C Ratio) serta sensitivitasnya. analisis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) tidak terdapat dampak kenaikan harga kedelai terhadap kelayakan usaha tahu tempe benjo pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di lokasi penelitian, dan 2) tingkat sensitivitas usaha tahu tempe benjo di daerah penelitian. Desa Lambusa dengan tiga model skenario dikatakan layak untuk dikembangkan, sehingga dengan tingkat sensitivitas 5% pada nilai NBCR, IRR, dan PP dikatakan layak untuk dikembangkan pada masa pandemi Covid-19 di Desa Lambusa Konda. Kecamatan, Kabupaten Konawe Selatan.

Abstract

School-Based Management (SBM) is a management approach that enables schools to manage themselves independently. This independence is essentially the responsibility of the school, particularly the principal, to ensure the school can advance under their guidance. In practice, school management requires a comprehensive understanding of basic concepts. The purpose of this article is to discuss the implementation of school-based management in improving the quality of education in primary schools. This writing uses research or literature studies. This review refers to the content of studies or articles (written works). Through a literature review, the research results provide an explanation of the concept of school-based management, the implementation of school-based management, strategic targets for improving education quality through school-based management, obstacles to the implementation of School-Based Management, and more. Examples applied in educational units show that schools implementing this model are able to transform primary education, thereby strengthening their human resources

Abstract

Tujuan pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan pemahaman dengan mendampingi serta menfasilitasi pengelola lembaga PAUD, kepala sekolah dan guru-guru pendidikan anak usia dini akan persiapan pemenuhan Standar Nasional Pendidikan (SNP) sebagai tolak ukur dan acuan tingkat kelayakan layanan maupun program suatu lembaga PAUD dalam mencapai mutu layanan secara bertahap, terencana, dan kompetitif. Hasil dari kegiatan PKm ini adalah 1) peningkatan sistem tata kelola RA Baitul Hidayah khususnya pada program layanan formal; 2) Memberikan pemahaman kepada kepala sekolah dan guru tentang dokumen-dokumen untuk mencapai standar nasional pendidikan; 3) Membuka wawasan guru terkait dengan penilaian akreditasi yang dilakukan secara sistematis dan komprehensif melalui kegiatan evaluasi internal dan eksternal untuk menentukan kelayakan maupun kinerja RA Baitul Hidayah.

Abstract

The quasi-experimental research with the nonequivalent control group design model is based on the low of critical thinking ability and learning outcomes of students of State Elementary School 3 Lemba Soppeng District. The study aims to to find out whether there is a significant influence of the use of Project Based Learning on the critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in the science and social learning of students in grade V State Elementary School 3 Lemba, Soppeng District. The sample consisted of 47 students, divided into 24 students in grade VA (without project based learning model) and 23 students in grade VB (with project based learning model). Techniques of data collection used are observation, tests, and documentation. The result showed that there was a significant influence of the use of the Project Based Learning model on the critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in social and science learning process of students in grade V State Elementary School 3 Lemba Soppeng District. The conclusion of this study is that the use of Project Based Learning has the impacts on improving critical thinking skills and learning outcomes in social and science learning process of students of grade V state elementary school 3 Lemba, Soppeng District.

Abstract

Diare adalah penyakit yang terjadi ketika terjadi perubahan konsistensi feses selain dari frekuensi buang air besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif analitik dengan desain Cross Sectional. Populasi adalah ibu yang memiliki balita diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Jaya Baru Kota Banda Aceh yaitu 452. Pengambilan Sampel menggunakan rumus solvin diperoleh sampel sebanyak 82 responden dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportional sampling. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi Square dengan aplikasi STATA 13. Berdasarkan karakteristik responden diperoleh bahwa 42 orang (51,22%) berjenis kelamin laki-laki dan 40 (48,78%) berjenis kelamin perempuan, 35 orang (42,68%) diare dan tidak diare 47 orang (57,32%), 14 orang (17,07%) keluarga miskin dan keluarga tidak miskin 68 orang (82,93%). Hasil analisis bivariat menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan personal hygiene (P-Value= 0.002), sarana air bersih (P-Value= 0.016), jamban sehat (P-Value = 0.002), dan tidak ada hubungan sarana pembuangan air limbah (P-Value= 0.126), sarana pembuangan sampah (P-Value= 0.002) dengan kejadian diare balita pada keluarga miskin dan keluarga tidak miskin diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Jaya Baru Kota Banda Aceh tahun 2022. Diharapkan kepada ketua bidang Penyakit Menular Puskesmas Jaya Baru Kota Banda Aceh agar dapat meningkatkan promosi kesehatan dan tindakan pencegahan terjadinya diare pada balita.
