Abstract

Early childhood education plays a vital role in shaping children’s understanding of diversity and reducing biases. In an increasingly multicultural society, fostering multicultural awareness from an early age is essential for promoting inclusivity and empathy. This study explores how curriculum elements and classroom interactions influence young children’s awareness of diversity and bias reduction. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through classroom observations, curriculum document analysis, and interviews with early childhood educators. The research examines the use of multicultural storybooks, diverse toys, and inclusive activities, as well as the role of teacher-child and peer interactions in encouraging positive attitudes toward cultural differences. The findings indicate that exposure to diverse cultural materials and teacher-led discussions significantly enhance children’s appreciation of diversity. Additionally, classrooms that actively promote inclusivity see reduced stereotyping and bias. The study provides practical insights for educators and policymakers, offering strategies to integrate multicultural content into curricula and foster inclusive, bias-free learning environments. These insights are valuable for those seeking to create more equitable early childhood education settings.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji praktik akad telon atau mukhabarah sebagai bentuk kerja sama pertanian antara pemilik lahan dan penggarap di Dusun Langkap Timur, Kecamatan Burneh, Kabupaten Bangkalan, serta menilai kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip-prinsip syariah. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Data primer diperoleh dari interaksi langsung dengan masyarakat setempat, sedangkan data sekunder berasal dari literatur keislaman dan referensi akademik pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa akad telon dilaksanakan berdasarkan asas kepercayaan dan kesepakatan lisan tanpa perjanjian tertulis, dengan pembagian hasil panen 1/3 untuk pemilik lahan dan 2/3 untuk penggarap. Sistem ini memungkinkan peningkatan pendapatan petani penggarap, terutama bagi mereka yang tidak memiliki lahan namun memiliki kemampuan bertani. Simpulan, praktik akad telon mencerminkan nilai-nilai keadilan dan keberdayaan ekonomi dalam Islam, serta menjadi kearifan lokal yang relevan dalam pengelolaan pertanian pedesaan secara berkelanjutan. Abstract

Character education plays a crucial role in shaping students' moral values, especially in multicultural societies where religious tolerance is essential for social harmony. However, fostering religious tolerance in primary schools remains challenging due to limited structured character education programs. This study aims to explore the implementation of religious tolerance-based character education in elementary schools and identify effective strategies for its reinforcement. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach, with data collected through observations, interviews, and document analysis at an elementary school with a diverse religious background. The data were analyzed using data reduction, display, and conclusion-drawing techniques to understand the phenomenon comprehensively. The findings indicate that strengthening religious tolerance-based character education is implemented through routine activities, spontaneous interventions, teacher role modeling, and environmental conditioning. Routine activities such as daily handshakes, prayers, English Day, literacy sessions, and religious holiday celebrations foster an inclusive school culture. Teachers play a pivotal role in promoting tolerance through direct interventions and exemplary behavior, while the school environment reinforces tolerance through posters, study group arrangements, and discussion-based learning. This study concludes that integrating religious tolerance into daily school activities and the curriculum effectively instills tolerance values among students. These findings contribute to developing structured programs for character education in primary schools, promoting an inclusive and respectful learning environment.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh sistem pelayanan antar jemput tabungan terhadap minat menabung di Dusun Banyualet, BMT NU Tanah Merah Bangkalan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan survei, melibatkan seluruh populasi sebanyak 27 nasabah sebagai sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dianalisis menggunakan regresi linier sederhana serta uji statistik validitas, reliabilitas, normalitas, linearitas, dan signifikansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara sistem pelayanan antar jemput tabungan terhadap minat menabung dengan nilai t-hitung 13,033 > t-tabel 1,703 dan nilai F-hitung 19,24 > F-tabel 4,25. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,434 menunjukkan bahwa 43,4% variasi minat menabung dapat dijelaskan oleh sistem pelayanan antar jemput tabungan. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa peningkatan sistem pelayanan antar jemput tabungan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peningkatan minat menabung di Dusun Banyualet. Abstract

This study investigates the policy dynamics and institutional mechanisms guiding capacity building in Ethiopia’s higher education within the framework of internationalisation and quality assurance. Drawing on a qualitative document review approach, the research analysed government policies, institutional strategies, and accreditation reports to assess how national directives align with global trends in higher education reform. The findings indicate that Ethiopian education policy increasingly incorporates internationalisation goals, such as academic mobility, collaborative research, curriculum benchmarking, and global quality standards. Strategic plans also highlight the importance of institutional autonomy and contextual relevance in Islamic education delivery. Despite this, the study reveals persistent challenges, including inadequate financial support, coordination gaps between agencies, and limited institutional readiness—especially among faith-based universities. Empirical evidence, including national audit reports and academic performance records, points to modest growth in faculty qualifications and research output in recent years, although progress varies across institutions. Thematic analysis suggests that while policy aspirations are clear, the operationalisation of these ambitions remains uneven and highly dependent on external funding and technical assistance. Moreover, the regulatory environment lacks specificity in addressing the dual demands of religious identity and global competitiveness. This paper contributes to ongoing debates on harmonising Islamic education with international academic standards in the Global South. It offers policy-level recommendations to strengthen institutional governance, resource mobilisation, and inter-agency collaboration. Ultimately, the study encourages rethinking capacity building not only as institutional enhancement but also as a culturally grounded and globally oriented transformation process in higher education systems.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of clinical supervision in enhancing teaching quality and teacher professionalism in secondary religious schools. Clinical supervision is viewed as a collaborative and reflective approach that offers teachers an opportunity to develop pedagogical competencies through structured guidance and constructive feedback. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design, this research involved direct observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis of supervision activities within the school. Findings indicate that clinical supervision not only improves teaching skills but also encourages teachers to be more reflective in their practice, fostering a dynamic and adaptive learning environment. The collaborative nature of this supervision allows teachers to receive constructive and solution-oriented feedback, driving innovation in teaching methods and building confidence. Additionally, challenges such as limited time and resources were identified, which can be mitigated through strategic planning and enhanced management support. This study concludes that clinical supervision is an effective tool for improving teaching quality and teacher professionalism, with broader applicability in strengthening teaching practices across diverse educational contexts. These findings are expected to underpin educational policy development that emphasises continuous support and professional development for teachers.

Abstract

RA TAAM Adinda is an early childhood education institution that prioritized Islamic values in learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research aims to determine the Islamic education values instilled in early childhood at RA TAAM Adinda in the village of Kepatihan Menganti Gresik, as well as its learning models. This study is field research with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted in three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion/verification. The findings of this study can be summarized that the Islamic values taught to early childhood at RA TAAM Adinda Menganti Gresik are values of faith, Sharia, and akhlak. The Islamic Education learning model during the COVID-19 pandemic at RA TAAM Adinda is carried out through active learning approaches and enjoyable learning approaches. The methods used include the playing method, storytelling method, exemplary method, habituation method, demonstration method, and question-answer method using video calls, sending videos in WhatsApp groups, and Zoom. Meanwhile, the Islamic Education learning procedure is carried out through planning, implementation, and evaluation stages.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of competence, work motivation, and managerial strategies on teacher performance and their impact on the quality of education in Islamic educational institutions. The focus of the research is directed at integrated Islamic madrassas and schools, which are committed to maintaining the quality of education amid limited resources. The Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method was used to analyze the causal relationship between these variables, with data obtained through surveys from teachers in several Islamic educational institutions. The results of the study show that teacher competence has a significant effect on teaching performance, which ultimately improves the quality of education. In addition, work motivation plays an important mediating role, where continuous career development can maintain teacher commitment. Managerial strategies implemented by school leaders also contribute positively to increasing productivity and teacher focus in teaching. This study concludes that the combination of competence, motivation, and adequate managerial support is a key factor in improving teacher performance and education quality in Islamic educational institutions. This finding provides recommendations for managers of Islamic educational institutions to focus on developing human resources to achieve optimal quality of education

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of students in Malang in shopping both online and their influence on the movement of purchasing behavior of students in Malang to make purchases online. The research technique uses quantitative descriptive research. The sample amounted to 400 students. Data collection techniques through questionnaires. Regarding the analysis of test results with PLS support. The results showed that the purchase intention variable was influenced by the variables of trust, discount and promotion by the seller. In addition, the level of public trust in online shopping websites with a good reputation and having a variety of product variations is one of the things that attracts buyer interest. Based on the results of PLS analysis, it is known that online shopping behavior can reduce students' shopping movements, especially on food / beverage needs, children's needs and toys, cosmetics and skin care, and tertiary fashion.

Abstract

Pendidikan yang bermutu merupakan kunci dalam membentuk generasi yang kompeten dan berkarakter, khususnya di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) yang membangun nilai-nilai Islam. Namun, peningkatan mutu pengajaran sering kali terhambat oleh kurangnya supervisi yang efektif. Supervisi klinis, sebagai pendekatan kolaboratif antara supervisor dan guru, dapat menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan mutu pengajaran, khususnya dalam perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk mengevaluasi pelaksanaan supervisi klinis di madrasah ibtidaiyah, dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan supervisi klinis memberikan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan perencanaan pengajaran, metode pembelajaran, dan hasil belajar siswa. Namun, kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu supervisor dan resistensi dari beberapa guru menjadi tantangan. Supervisi dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah dan tim yang terlatih, dengan masing-masing guru menerima supervisi minimal dua kali per semester. Diperlukan pendekatan yang lebih komunikatif agar guru lebih terbuka terhadap supervisi, guna meningkatkan mutu pengajaran secara maksimal.
