Abstract

Business development through innovation in various industries is affected by rapid changes caused by various factors. The media and entertainment industry is showing an increase in revenue from year to year and is expected to continue growing until 2026. The average time spent by internet users in Indonesia watching broadcast and streaming for 2 hours 53 minutes per day has an impact on over-the-top penetration in Indonesia. The number of over-the-top platforms in entertainment media requires each company to innovate in the development of its services to be at the forefront. Vidio has the highest number of over-the-top service users in Indonesia. However, there are some negative reviews from users are related to the Vidio mobile app. Therefore, as an over-the-top media service from Indonesia, Vidio needs a great user experience to continue to increase users and customers. This study aims to determine the characteristics of Vidio mobile application customers and analyze the effect of user experience on customer satisfaction. Research data were obtained through observation and distributing questionnaires via the internet using convenience sampling technique from 136 active customers of Vidio mobile application. Data analysis uses validity test, reliability test, descriptive data analysis, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that user experience has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Online learning methods are still the main way to access learning resources. The SPADA UPI platform is essential in supporting the academic and non-academic activities of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. In supporting these activities, user experience must also be considered when using online learning platforms. The results of the user experience survey of UPI students stated that all aspects assessed, such as attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation and novelty, responded poorly. To overcome these problems, it is necessary to redesign the SPADA UPI website to make it an intuitive website. In designing an intuitive website, a design thinking approach is used with output as a prototype of the SPADA UPI website. The User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) is a user experience evaluation tool that outputs quantitative values. Comparing the UEQ results of the SPADA UPI website and the SPADA UPI website prototype will help determine whether the website prototype design provides a better user experience. The initial UEQ results that have been carried out and compared with the results of the prototype test of the SPADA UPI website show a good increase in value. With initial UEQ results averaging poor or less than 0.8, they improve by providing a score of more than 0.8 or excellent. Therefore, the design thinking approach is beneficial for designing an intuitive product that produces a better user experience.

Abstract

In this era, digital transformation in business is increasing. One of the businesses that participated in the transformation and was studied in this research is Sabrina Store, which sells groundfish through its website, Ikan Giling Segar. Even so, challenges arise related to website design that is not optimal. This research is included in the Research and Development (R&D) research type. It uses design thinking methods to improve the appearance of the website design so that user interest also increases. Data were collected through questionnaires and related literature. Pre-questionnaires and questionnaires were conducted after the redesign using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) method with respondents from potential users in East Java, as well as usability testing of the redesigned prototype. Results showed that five aspects of UEQ were below average before the redesign. However, after the redesign, all aspects improved. Usability and UEQ testing also showed that the redesign improved user interest and experience. Thus, using design thinking and R&D methods can provide holistic solutions to improve the UI / UX of online business websites with positive results.

Abstract

 The rapid development of information technology and communication has facilitated various aspects of life, including the banking sector. Jenius is one of the digital banking applications that has been downloaded by five million users and continues to grow. With the increasing number of users, there is a growing number of opinions written about their experiences using the application, making it difficult to identify reviews through manual monitoring without textual data processing. This study aims to classify user reviews of the Jenius application on Google Playstore using the Naive Bayes algorithm and Particle Swarm Optimization feature selection. The data used consists of 3047 user reviews of the Jenius application collected from January 16, 2022 to April 13, 2023 and will be divided into two classes, namely positive and negative sentiment. This study also compares the Naive Bayes algorithm using PSO feature selection and without using PSO feature selection. The test results of the two methods indicate that the PSO feature selection with 800 iterations proves to be effective in optimizing the performance of the Naive Bayes algorithm model with an accuracy of 98.50%, precision of 97.81%, recall of 99.36%, and F1-score of 98.58%. Meanwhile, the performance level of the Naive Bayes algorithm without using PSO feature selection is lower with an accuracy of 96.68%, precision of 94.83%, recall of 99.04%, and F1-score of 96.88%.

Abstract

Terjadinya fluktuasi penjualan produk skincare Avoskin Beauty pada tahun 2019-2022 menjadi latar belakang dilakukannya penelitian ini. Sebagai brand yang menganut prinsip green beauty, Avoskin mengandalkan content marketing dan green marketing pada social media instagram sebagai salah satu strategi untuk mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian konsumen. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh content marketing dan green marketing terhadap keputusan pembelian (purchase decision) brand skincare Avoskin Beauty. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan emlalui kuisioner yang disebarkan secara online. Responden pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 126 wanita pengguna produk Avoskin Beauty berusia remaja 18-25 tahun dan dewasa 25-35 tahun. Pengolahan data dilakukan menggunakan SPSS 29. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa content marketing memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian, hasil yang sama ditunjukan oleh variabel green marketing. Secara simultan, kedua variabel tersebut berpengaruh signifikan terhadap keputusan pembelian. Adapun content marketing dan green marketing memiliki kontribusi sebesar 48,7% dalam mempengaruhi purchase decision. Secara keseluruhan, temuan dari penelitian ini menguatkan bahwa kedua variabel, content marketing dan green marketing, memiliki peran penting dalam mempengaruhi keputusan pembelian. Oleh karena itu, perusahaan perlu terus mengembangkan dan menerapkan strategi pemasaran yang tidak hanya menarik secara konten tetapi juga bertanggung jawab secara lingkungan.

Abstract

This research aims to enhance the accuracy of daily closing price forecasting for PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk shares by optimizing a Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU) model, a deep learning architecture. The study focuses on the impact of boycott issues on company performance and explores the effectiveness of hyperparameter tuning and the Adam optimization algorithm. Utilizing a five-year historical dataset, time series analysis was employed. The results demonstrate that the GRU model with a configuration of 50 epochs, batch size 8, hidden state 64, and default Adam parameters achieved the lowest Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 1.59% and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE) of 71.51 among the 81 configurations tested. While higher Adam parameter settings also yielded satisfactory results, this specific configuration exhibited superior performance. The findings highlight the sensitivity of model accuracy to sharp price fluctuations, suggesting that shorter forecast horizons may be more appropriate. This research contributes significantly to the advancement of accurate and reliable stock price forecasting models.

Abstract

Hairstyle atau gaya rambut merupakan suatu hal krusial yang mempengaruhi penampilan seseorang. Khususnya pada pria, permasalahan yang sering muncul adalah ketidaksesuaian hasil potongan rambut mereka sehingga menyebabkan rasa percaya diri menurun. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengembangkan sistem rekomendasi gaya rambut bagi pria berdasarkan bentuk wajah dan jenis rambut untuk memberikan rekomendasi yang lebih personal dibandingkan penelitian sebelumnya yang hanya fokus pada satu fitur. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) dan transfer learning dengan memanfaatkan metode VGG16, fine-tuning, dan extract features dengan fokus pada peningkatan akurasi model. Parameter pelatihan sistem rekomendasi ini menggunakan 32 batch size, 75 epoch, dan learning rate Adam. Model yang digunakan adalah pre-trained model yang didasarkan pada model face shape dan hair type terpilih yang sudah melalui proses pelatihan dan pengujian pada tahap sebelumnya. Hasil pengujian sistem rekomendasi ini menghasilkan dua output, yaitu akurasi face shape model dengan nilai 59,62% dan akurasi hair type model dengan nilai 59,61%. Output tersebut menunjukkan peningkatan nilai akurasi dari penelitian sebelumnya, yang membuktikan bahwa penggunaan metode VGG16 cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan akurasi pada sistem pengolahan gambar terutama pada dataset yang jumlahnya terbatas.

Abstract

The introduction of the BangunAja application in Santanamekar Village aimed to disseminate the design thinking method as an innovative approach to developing technology-based solutions. The primary objective was to provide a foundational understanding of design thinking and introduce the BangunAja application to the community as a user-centered design product. The implementation methods included theoretical material delivery, interactive discussions, and hands-on practice using the design thinking template provided by the BangunAja Team. This activity involved 20 participants from various community groups. The results showed that participants could understand the basic concepts of design thinking and apply them to simple case studies. Positive feedback indicated the application’s potential in supporting local solution development. The conclusion highlights the need for innovative approaches in community education and further application development tailored to local requirements.

Abstract

By.U merupakan produk seluler prabayar digital end-to-end (proses dari awal sampai akhir) pertama di indonesia untuk seluruh kebutuhan telekomunikasi yang dikembangkan khusus untuk segmen gen Z di Indonesia. Seiring dengan terus meningkatnya layanan yang diberikan. By.U juga terus mengalami peningkatan pengguna setiap tahunnya. Dalam 3 bulan terakhir Aplikasi By.U mendapatkan ulasan negatif, kemudian setelah dilakukan survei pendahuluan ada kendala pada aplikasi By.U antara lain aplikasi yang sering mengalami keluar paksa, sinyal yang buruk, dan UX writer yang kurang bisa dipahami. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini untuk menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pengguna berdasarkan kinerja dan harapan pengguna pada aplikasi By.U menggunakan metode EUCS (End User Computing Satisfaction) dan IPA (Importance Performance Analys). Penelitian ini menguji 7 variabel EUCS yaitu content, accuracy, format, timeliness, ease of use, speed of response, dan security. Hasil analisis menunjukkan tingkat kesesuaian aplikasi By.U masih <100% sehingga belum mencapai harapan pengguna, pada analisis kuadran IPA terdapat prioritas utama perbaikan pada item F2 (Kemudahan Format), dan pada analisis gap nilai skor yang dihasilkan secara keseluruhan masih negatif sehingga masih belum memenuhi harapan pengguna. Dari hasil analisis tersebut disimpulkan bahwa aplikasi By.U masih belum mencapai kepuasan pengguna dan perlu peningkatan kualitas produk dan layanan.

Abstract

The problem of high employee turnover in a company has several negative impacts in terms of cost, energy, and time and one of them is felt by the fictitious Company “XYZ”. The purpose of this research is to classify the causes of employee turnover in the industry using a classification machine learning model on two different algorithms namely Random Forest and Decision Tree. In addition, this study addresses the implications of previous classification research, employee classification in the education industry, which suggests comparing the evaluation of two machine learning model performances. There are 10 variables and 9,540 historical employee data used in the research. The research technique or method used is Cross-industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM). The results of this study show that the Random Forest classification model is the optimal machine learning model with an AUC - ROC value reaching 0.9988. RapidMiner was used to revalidate the performance of the machine learning model using the same parameters and resulted in the highest accuracy value of 85.04% for the Random Forest model compared to the Decion Tree model.
