Abstract

Digital transformation encourages businesses in various sectors, including the beauty salon industry, to adopt technology as a means of improving efficiency and service. Lia Salon, as one of the beauty service providers, still applies a manual booking system that is considered less efficient and makes it difficult for customers. This research aims to implement a web-based booking application to facilitate the process of booking services and products online. Through a qualitative approach with a prototyping method, the system was developed based on the results of observations and interviews with salon owners and employees. The development results show that the application is able to display service and product information in a structured manner, supports the ordering process directly by customers, and allows automatic management of order data by the admin. With this application, Lia Salon can increase customer convenience as well as operational efficiency. This research recommends the utilization of similar technology for small and medium-sized businesses that face challenges in managing services manually.

Abstract

Giving appreciation to outstanding students can motivate students to compete with each other in learning. MA Tanwirul Qulub Tanggungan often experiences difficulties in determining outstanding students due to There is no application that can assist school management in identifying outstanding students, the implementation is considered less than optimal. besides that, the determination of outstanding students is still based on report cards that are only ranked, and there are no criteria that refer to the K-13 curriculum. The purpose of this research is to offer a solution to create a recommendation system for selecting outstanding students using the parameters of midterm exams, final exams, assignments, attendance, attitude, extracurricular activities, organizations, and award certificates using decision support system techniques. Extracurricular grades are taken from Scouting activities only because students are generally required to participate in them. Naïve Bayes and Simple Additive Weighting methods are used in this research, where the Naïve Bayes method classifies the categories of outstanding students and not, while the SAW method is used for ranking. The contribution of this research has the potential to increase school efficiency in student assessment and support efforts to improve the quality of education by rewarding students appropriately. The validation test results of Naïve Bayes and SAW techniques get an accuracy value of 100%, which shows that the SAW method can produce the best alternative recommendations

Abstract

Meningkatnya penggunaan sistem informasi akademik di perguruan tinggi menuntut perhatian serius terhadap aspek keamanan informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi tingkat kesesuaian keamanan sistem informasi akademik di STMIK Jayakarta dengan mengacu pada standar ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Ruang lingkup evaluasi mencakup identifikasi aset informasi, penilaian risiko berdasarkan potensi ancaman dan dampak, serta analisis kesenjangan terhadap delapan klausul utama ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) dengan dukungan checklist standar dan analisis risiko berbasis CIA (Confidentiality, Integrity, Availability). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari sepuluh aset yang dianalisis, lima aset tergolong berisiko tinggi dan lima berisiko sedang. Selain itu, ditemukan ketidaksesuaian pada empat klausul utama, yaitu 5.2 (kebijakan keamanan informasi), 6.1.2 (perencanaan penilaian risiko), 9.2 (audit internal), dan 9.3 (tinjauan manajemen). Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa implementasi keamanan sistem informasi akademik di STMIK Jayakarta masih perlu ditingkatkan untuk mencapai kesesuaian penuh terhadap standar ISO/IEC 27001:2022. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, direkomendasikan penerapan kontrol keamanan tambahan berupa penyusunan daftar risiko formal, strategi mitigasi terdokumentasi, pelaksanaan audit berkala, serta perbaikan dokumentasi evaluasi manajemen.Kata Kunci: Sistem Informasi Akademik, Keamanan Informasi, ISO/IEC 27001, Analisis Kesenjangan

Abstract

Predicting student graduation is an essential component in academic management within higher education institutions. The growing issue of delayed graduations and dropouts (DO) has raised significant concerns in the educational field. By utilizing machine learning methods, predictions regarding student graduation can be made with high accuracy, based on historical data such as academic performance, attendance, background, and social factors. This paper aims to explore various machine learning methods applied in previous studies for predicting student graduation, including Decision Tree, Random Forest, SVM, and Neural Networks. The findings of these studies suggest that models like Random Forest and XGBoost tend to provide the highest accuracy in predicting student outcomes. This review is intended to serve as a foundational reference for the development of data-driven systems for predicting graduation rates in academic environments.

Abstract

Beauty salon (Lia Salon) is a form of business or a special place for women to beautify and beautify the body which provides care services related to skin health, cosmetic care, face, hair, nails and so on, and also sells beauty products such as facial wash, hand body soap and other beauty needs. The price offered is relatively cheap with good quality, making more and more customers. So that it requires a beauty salon governance management application to overcome problems that occur in services and transactions in the sales and registration system quickly, precisely and accurately. The problem with beauty salons (lia salons) is that the management of data collection and sales still uses a manual system by recording them in a book, which makes data difficult to find and easy to lose. The method used to build the system is using the Waterfall method and system modeling using the Unified Modeling Language (UML). The results of this study are in the form of web-based applications that can help beauty salons to more easily collect consumer data, sales transactions and financial reports.

Abstract

Good management of State Property (BMN) is expected to be owned by every government agency, one of which is in the activity of borrowing goods. However, in the process, several obstacles were found, such as errors in recording goods due to manual processes, difficulties in searching for data, the length of time required to provide reports, frequent stock shortages, and difficulties in data processing. To overcome these problems, a BMN utilization information system has been built. Data was collected through interviews, observations, and literature studies. System development was carried out using the SDLC Waterfall method which consists of five stages, namely needs analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. System design was carried out using UML diagrams, such as use cases, activity diagrams, class diagrams, and mock-ups. Implementation was carried out using the PHP programming language with the Laravel framework and MySQL database. Testing was carried out using the black-box method and System Usability Scale with a test result score of 89.8 which means the application is suitable for use. A website-based BMN utilization application with the waterfall method and Laravel framework was produced from this study. From the research that has been conducted, it is concluded that the application that has been created is able to make it easier for agencies to manage BMN and is more optimal, especially borrowing activities and requests for inventory of goods become more effective and efficient.

Abstract

The definition of inventory according to the Big Indonesian General Dictionary is (a list of) items used in an office, company, and inventory is the making or compilation of a list of items in an office, house, ship. imagine how complicated it would be if we wanted to find out what items were purchased by an institution in the past 05 or 10 years if we had to open files or records regarding these items in a book, perhaps more than one large stack of books would have to be we read them one by one and it will take quite a long time. In modern times like now, if these manual things are still done, we will be increasingly left behind by other people and will not be able to progress because we will lose in the competition. Fast, precise and effective work has become the main requirement for completing work in the current era of globalization. The inventory data collection application is an application that is used to control inventory items and planned expenditure. This application is designed to improve the performance of the DKM Jami' Baitul Mutaqqin Mosque, because up to now the process has been carried out manually so the time required is more long time to approve replacement of inventory items that must be replaced. This application was built using the PHP programming language and uses a MySQL database.

Previously, data processing was carried out manually using Microsoft Excel and Word, by designing a computerized system using PHP and MySql applications, data on the activities of DKI Jakarta DPRD members had been stored in a database to simplify the process of daily activities. This research uses data collection methods by means of observation, interviews and literature study, namely by making direct observations on the objects under study and requesting the necessary data, as well as interviews or questions and answers with sources to complete the data and obtain the necessary information. The system designed is an information system for the activities of DKI Jakarta DPRD members which was created using PHP and MySQL. This system was created to be able to manage data on the activities of DKI Jakarta DPRD members and reports. The information system designed is expected to minimize the shortcomings of the system currently in use so that work activities are more effective, efficient and controlled.

Abstract

The Directorate General of Sea Transportation (DJPL) is under and responsible to the Minister of Transportation and is led by the Director General. The Directorate General of Sea Transportation has the task of carrying out the formulation and implementation of policies in the shipping sector. To create a more effective and efficient organization and work procedures to improve the performance of the duties and functions of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation (DJPL), optimal human resource management is needed. The use of information technology has now become mandatory in managing human resources in the government sector. Currently, data processing for education, training and careers within the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation still uses manual methods, causing several obstacles, including irregular data archiving which makes it difficult to search for data as a reference for building a management information system that can provide information regarding management activities within the Directorate General of Sea Transportation. The Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) within the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation, is one of the sections tasked with providing training for employees. Employees who have completed training are then placed according to the results of the training. The Web-Based Information System Design Application for the Technical Implementation Unit (UPT) of the Secretariat of the Directorate General of Sea Transportation (SETDITJEN) was designed using a PHP program and a database using MySQL, so that it can be easily accessed anywhere.
