Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of parents in instilling moral values in early childhood in the digital age. The phenomenon of increasing exposure to digital content that has the potential to disrupt children's character development is the main background of this study. Children tend to imitate behavior from digital media, while some parents, despite being highly educated, do not provide direct moral guidance due to their busy schedules or the assumption that moral education will be obtained from school and the environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, involving observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection techniques. The analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that active parental involvement has a significant effect on three main aspects of children's moral development: psychological condition, temperament, and empathy. Children who receive attention and moral guidance from their parents tend to have better self-confidence, are able to control their emotions, and show concern for others. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of the role of parents as primary educators in shaping children's character amid the challenges of the digital age, as well as the need to increase parents' awareness and capacity to carry out this function consistently.

This research is based on the lack of awareness of students in PAI learning. Several types of active learning strategies have been carried out by PAI teachers, but they still do not involve active students, so students are less enthusiastic and learning is less interesting for students. This research aims to find out the types of active learning learning strategies, the steps for implementing active learning learning strategies, and to find out the advantages and disadvantages of active learning learning strategies in PAI subjects in elementary schools. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research. The data sources are school principals, PAI teachers, and students. Data collection was obtained using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions or verification. Abstract

The spread of cases of sexual violence against children committed by those closest to them shows that they need to introduce early childhood sex education. Parents paid less attention to the introduction of sex education for children because they felt that sex education was taboo and did not need to be introduced to children from an early age. Most parents leave their children's education to school, this understanding makes parents pay less attention to the education that children receive, including sex education, even though parents are the closest and most trusted people to children. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using interviews, observation, and documentation. The research subjects used 15 parents who worked and had children aged 3-6 years. The validity of the data used by data triangulation. The results showed that the implementation of sex education in early childhood should start from the closest person, parents provide introduction and learning using various methods to make the process of introducing sex education easier for children. Providing an understanding of children related to sex education is expected to protect children from the dangers of sexual violence.

Abstract

This research aimed at describing and solving problems related to the use of monitoring book that did not work optimally. Monitoring book as a medium of communication between teachers and parents should be used as best as possible so that even when parents are busy with their work, they can still control their child’s development at home. After conducting research, problems were found in the field that the use of monitoring book was still not effective because there were several problems that needed to be solved. Through qualitative research methods with a descriptive analytical approach, it was found that problems with the use of monitoring book were caused by a lack of attention, concern, and participation of parents in supervising children studying at home. It was because parents did not sign the monitoring book as proof that parental control over their child’s learning at home did work. This research found that the reason for this was that the rules set at the beginning of the year were not implemented as they should have been.
