Abstract

Awareness of worship is an important aspect of a Muslim's life which is ideally formed from the age of adolescence through a systematic process of religious education. However, in reality, there are still students who have not shown consistency in carrying out worship, especially praying five times, even though they have received formal religious learning. This research aims to examine the effect of Islamic Religious Education on the worship awareness of ninth-grade students at MTs Miftahul Ulum Pronojiwo, Lumajang. A quantitative method was employed, utilizing survey techniques and data analysis through simple linear regression. The study involved the entire population of ninth-grade students, totaling 42 individuals, all of whom were included as research subjects using a total sampling method. The data collection instrument was a questionnaire based on a Likert scale, incorporating indicators related to religious education and worship awareness. The findings indicate a significant relationship between Islamic Religious Education and students’ level of worship awareness. This proves that religious learning in schools, if carried out effectively and contextually, can increase students' understanding, motivation, and consistency in carrying out worship. This research provides important implications for the development of a more grounded and applicable PAI curriculum and teaching methods in shaping students' spiritual character.

Abstract

Background In the dynamics of general education and Islamic education, there will definitely be conflicts, both individual conflicts and group conflicts. In cases of conflict, the leader of the Islamic boarding school must understand the conflict management that will be carried out because it will greatly influence and have a positive or negative impact on the progress of the Islamic boarding school. Purpose The purpose of this study is to analyze educational conflict in Islamic boarding schools. Design/method/approach The method using a qualitative approach and using observation, documentation and interview data collection methods and using library data both offline and online and access in mass media such as books, google, newspapers, TV news, magazines, online journal articles. Results In managing human conflict in general by avoiding problems. This avoidance is based on fear of disputes and paralysis of function. The characteristic is the tendency to reject thoughts and avoid problems. Second, Approaching the problem and trying to find a solution. This characteristic is based on optimism and is more functional. violence is any act against a child that results in physical misery or suffering. Contribution/value This study provides strategies to stakeholders in educational institutions in handling conflicts and utilizing the conflict to be positive and advance educational institutions.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic is a challenge for educational institutions in learning and evaluation. However, Luqman Al-Hakim Elementary School implements an online oral and practice evaluation model through a video call to continue producing student outputs with Islamic characters. Students remain motivated and committed to learning to get the best grades. This research is more inclined toward a qualitative approach because it is a natural setting. The subjects of this study consisted of 2 Islamic Religious Education teachers and ten students. Data were obtained in 3 ways: observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis using source and method triangulation. The research findings show that the online evaluation model uses videos in practical exams and video calls in Tahfid exams and uses WhatsApp to monitor student progress. Aspects of grade promotion are assessed from the target of memorizing the Qur'an and hadith. One indicator of an increase in grade 2 is that students have remembered Surah An-Naas to Surat Abasa and five hadiths about good morals.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji praktik sistem upah bawon yang diterapkan kepada buruh tani di Desa Kembang, Kecamatan Tlogosari, Kabupaten Bondowoso, serta mengevaluasi kesesuaiannya dengan prinsip-prinsip hukum Islam. Sistem bawon merupakan bentuk pembagian hasil panen secara tradisional, yang diberikan kepada buruh tani yang telah terlibat sejak tahap awal pengolahan lahan hingga proses panen selesai. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dan metode studi kasus, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa sistem bawon masih cukup banyak diterapkan oleh masyarakat setempat, meskipun secara perlahan mulai tergantikan oleh sistem upah yang lebih modern. Ditinjau dari perspektif hukum Islam, sistem ini dinilai sah dan dapat diterima selama pelaksanaannya memenuhi prinsip keadilan, kejelasan akad, serta kerelaan dari kedua belah pihak yang terlibat. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat dalam menerapkan nilai-nilai syariah secara lebih tegas dan transparan dalam praktik kerja sama di sektor pertanian.

Abstract

Studi Islam merupakan salah satu domain kajian utama pada perguruan tinggi keagamaan Islam di Indonesia. Bidang studi ini telah mengambil bentuk dan nama yang bermacam dan silih berganti seiring dengan perubahan kebijakan lokal dan nasional. Terdapat beragam pendekatan dalam Studi Islam, antara lain monodisiplin, multidisiplin, interdisiplin, dan transdisiplin. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memetakan pendekatan-pendekatan dalam Studi Islam di dua lembaga pendidikan tinggi keagamaan Islam, yaitu Institut Agama Islam Al-Qodiri dan Institut Agama Islam Al-Falah Assunniyah, yang kedua-duanya berada di Kabupaten Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologis. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik Analisis dan uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi metode. Dari penelitian ini diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pendekatan-pendekatan monodisipliner, interdisipliner dan multidisipliner dalam Studi Islam telah diterapkan di IAI Al-Qodiri dan IAI Al-Falah Assunniyah Jember. Pendekatan-pendekatan tersebut, secara substantif, mempertimbangkan karakter dan tema kajian; secara fundamental, pendekatan-pendekatan itu didasarkan pada alasan-alasan yang bersifat filosofis, historis dan normatif.  Secara aplikatif, tiga pendekatan tersebut diimplementasikan dalam kegiatan tridharma, yakni pendidikan, penelitian, dan pengabdian masyarakat

Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan alat komunikasi pembelajaran. Media ini tidak harus mahal, pemanfaatan barang-barang bekas termasuk kardus merupakan media yang mudah dijangkau dan harganya murah. Tergantung bagaimana cara mendesain dan menyulap barang tersebut sehingga memiliki makna yang berarti untuk pembelajaran. Selain memiliki makna sebagai alat komunikasi pembelajaran, dengan media dapat meminimalisir waktu praktek yang mulanya praktek dilakukan setiap siswa mulai bacaan dan gerakannya, namun dengan media dapat mengoptimalkan pembelajaran shalat melalui puzzle. Sehingga praktek shalat tidak menghabiskan waktu yang lama dengan jumlah siswa 68 di TPA Nurul Quro Sumbersari dan jumlah guru sebanyak 4 orang. Media sederhana perlu dikenalkan bahwa media itu tidah harus mewah dan mahal dengan memanfaatkan barang bekas seperti kardus bekas susu yang telah dilakukan dalam pelatihan ini didesain menjadi media puzzle yang menarik dan memtovasi siswa TPA untuk semangat belajar khususnya dalam pembelajaran shalat.

Abstract

Perkembangan Islam disekolah Muhammadiyah berlangsung secara evolusioner dengan penanamanan akidah islam dan Syariah amaliah serta menitik tekankan toleransi. Sekolah Muhammadiyah ini berada di purwoharjo yang secara demografis warga purwoharjo menganut beberapa agama, diantaranya umat Kristen, Islam dan Hindu serta beberapa yang beraliran kepercayaan. Sehingga SMK Muhammasiyah 7 Purwoharjo diapit oleh sector orang yang memiliki karakter yang berbeda secara agama, kultur dan adat istiadat yang ada. Metode Penelitian Tahapan awal berupa observasi. Tahapan selanjutnya pengumpulan data riset melalui interview, observasi, dan data dokumentasi terkait dengan epistemology sekolah muhammadiyah. Tahapan selanjutnya berkenan dengan mengecek validitas data atau keabsahan data dengan mengunakan (a) triangulasi, (b) ketekunan pengamatan, dan (c) pemeriksaan sejawat. Analisis data dengan (1) kondensasi data, (2) penyajian data, dan (3) penarikan kesimpulan. hasil dan pembahasa a. kultur SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Purwoharjo dan membangun budaya keislaman diantarannya adalah : 1.Pembiasaaan Spiritual dan Sosial. 2.Pembiasaan Peribadatan Keummatan. 3.Pembiasaaan Kedisiplinan. 4.Toleransi keagamaan antar ummat beragama. b. System dan kurikulum SMK Muhammadiyah 7 Purwoharjo dalam membangun budaya islami ditengan masyarakat non musim yaitu : 1. Kekuatan visi, misi dan tujuan institusi. 2. Inovasi sistem kurikulum. 3. Prioritas Intra dan Ekstra kurikuler. 4. Pengembangan Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter siswa.

Abstract

Every educator has duties and functions in working in educational institutions. However, these duties and functions have not been fulfilled optimally by educators. Some educators know their responsibilities and some know their duties and functions but do not carry them out well. In fact, in the Al-Qur'an it is stated in Surah Al-Isra: verse 24 that as an educator you should have an attitude of nurturing, nurturing, and educating. However, in reality, there are still many cases where educators only transfer knowledge. Meanwhile, the caring attitude has not been fully implemented optimally. The purpose of this research is to explain the duties and functions of educators carried out in the Islamic education environment. Second, it explains the Al-Quran's perspective on the duties and functions of educators. The method used in this research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The object of this research was carried out at Islamic educational institutions, especially educators in the Muhamamdiyah environment in Jember Regency. Data collection techniques use observation of educators' performance, interviews with Muhammadiyah school supervisors, civil service bureaus, school principals, and educators, and documentation. The data analysis technique applies source triangulation. The results of this research found that optimizing the duties and functions of educators in the Islamic education environment can run optimally with policy socialization and scheduled or open evaluations. These duties and functions include online attendance, activeness in recitation, performance evaluation, providing performance allowance rewards, nurturing, nurturing, guiding, perfecting, and building characterful student behavior. Apart from that, the duties and functions of educators are to be mentors for junior educators and as an honest, kind, and open work team. From an Islamic perspective, duties and functions are based on Ali Imran's letter: 104; Surah Ar Rahman: 4; Surah Al-Anbiya:80; Luqman's letter: 13; and Surah Al Isra': 24.

Abstract

A scientific approach is a scientific approach. The scientific approach to teaching PAI at MI As Shofa Jember trains students' critical character to think and find solutions to problems, be honest, be creative, and be innovative. The problem in this study is the application of a scientific approach in learning PAI and the character building to be achieved in learning. The goal is to realize the character building of MI students. This study used a qualitative approach, the research subjects consisted of Islamic Religious Education teachers, school principals, vice curricula, and students. The instruments used were the observation of PAI and character learning, interviews related to learning and character building; documentation in the form of lesson plans and learning activities. The result is that the teacher applies pictures and media in the school environment. The implementation process uses 5M (observing, asking, trying, reasoning, and presenting). The 5 M learning activities in PAI learning have an impact on student character building including a) Students have high motivation to learn; b) Students become active; c) Students are able to implement in everyday life from what is seen and discussed; d) Students become diligent and disciplined; and e) Realized changes in student behavior (politeness, respect, respect, and spiritual improvement).

Abstract

Literasi merupakan edukasi terpenting membangun generasi bangsa yang cerdas pada siswa Sekolah Dasar (SD). Literasi dapat memberikan perubahan yang positif meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa dari berbagai bidang keilmuan. SD Muhammadiyah yang memiliki pojok baca setiap kelas diharapkan siswa meanfaatkan sarana tersebut sebagai tempat edukasi dan peningkatan pengetahuan bidang agama maupun pengetahuan umum. Namun permasalahannya belum semua siswa memiliki ketertarikan untuk berliterasi dengan memanfaatkan pojok baca di sekolah. Hal ini dikarenakan siswa belum mengetahui cara-cara literasi yang benar dan kebermanfaatannya. Maka dari itu kegiatan ini berusaha memberikan edukasi pada siswa terkait literasi. Metode pelaksanaan melalui observasi dan dilanjutkan dengan sosialisasi dan pendampingan literasi pojok baca di kelas masing-masing. Hasil dari pengabdian ini diantaranya: 1) terwujudnya jadwal literasi pada saat pembelajaran dan jam istirahat; 2) meningkatnya motivasi anak berliterasi dengan memanfaatkan buku-buku yang disediakan pada pojok kelas; 3) Literasi dilakukan secara individu dan kelompok; 4) Pemanfaatan jam istirahat untuk literasi di kelas dan sebagian siswa bermain di luar kelas. Adapun Kesimpulan dari kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya jadwal pembiasaan literasi yang dilakukan oleh siswa dengan pendampingan guru-guru kelas memotivasi anak-anak gemar literasi baik saat pembelajaran maupun pada jam istirahat.
