Abstract

The development of technology in the automotive sector, especially four-wheeled vehicles is increasing. This is shown by the use of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology for the fuel intake system. Therefore, teachers must continue to upgrade their skills and expertise in order to improve the quality of graduates. SMK Teknik Bakti Persada is a school that has one of the light vehicle engineering expertise programs. Judging from the tools and machines that are in the workshop, the average is a machine with EFI technology. There needs to be an effort to improve teacher competence related to the gasoline injection system. Gasoline injection system training is a community service program that aims to improve the competence of productive teachers at SMK Teknik Bakti Persada. The training method applied is theory and practice which is carried out for 4 days. The results showed that the trainees were able to disassemble the starter motor, alternator, tune up the EFI engine, and use a scanner to stream engine data. Improving the skills of vocational school teachers is expected to have an impact on the quality of graduates who are quickly absorbed in the industrial world.

Abstract

This study will examine the impact of the population aging phenomenon on innovation and long-term macroeconomic balance in several East Asian countries. The variables used in this study include the number of elderly population, population growth, income per capita, birth rate, death rate, institutional quality, education level, unemployment rate and gross national expenditure. The data analysis method that will be used is the Monash-China Hunan-University General Equilibrium (MC-HUGE) model which is the development of the Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) model. The MC-HUGE model is built on the Walrasian general equilibrium theory and input-output theory, including the three main elements in production activities, namely land, capital and labor.

Abstract

Sustainable toll road development is not only related to environmentally friendly infrastructure and economic benefits but also to public acceptance of environmental issues. However, previous studies indicate that the quality of Green Toll Road services can increase the interest of toll road users through campaigns that support the environment. This study aims to analyze various aspects of sustainable toll roads in-depth, focusing on the management of environmentally friendly services and facilities. In this study, a qualitative method with a survey approach was applied by taking samples from toll road users through incidental quota sampling techniques. Service management indicators include travel satisfaction, road conditions, road infrastructure, and equipment, use of road space, and traffic management related to environmentally friendly facilities. The results obtained from toll road users indicate that ecologically friendly facilities including travel satisfaction, road conditions, road infrastructure and equipment, and traffic management have been met. However, there was a lack of standards among toll road managers, considering that toll road operators are not under the same management. The recommendation from this study is the application of consistent standards for toll road managers related to environmentally friendly aspects.

Abstract

Currently, the role of digital business has become an important part and even a major factor in maintaining business continuity. Businesses that cannot adapt to this trend are at risk of stagnation or even decline, including traditional businesses. Traditional business is a model that relies on old methods, such as direct consumer sales. This study uses a qualitative method with a data triangulation approach to evaluate the extent to which MSMEs in Batu Malang adapt to digital business innovations to maintain their business continuity. The results of the study indicate that MSMEs must immediately make improvements to support their businesses. One way is to utilize digital business, such as marketing through online platforms such as social media. In addition, monitoring social media related to trends and the needs of consumers and tourists is also needed so that businesses can meet customer desires. Other aspects are innovation, digitalization, and ease in the payment process. This finding is also supported by the fact that the trend of cashless transactions has become a new habit.

Abstract

Currently, climate change is a major focus in various industrial sectors, including tourism. Significant climate change has caused changes in tourist behavior, from changes in visiting times to choosing tourist destinations. If the tourism industry does not consider the impacts of climate change, this can affect marketing strategies and regional development, especially when climate change occurs. The Integrated Tourism Master Plan (ITMP), prepared by the World Bank in 2018, provides recommendations on various aspects of tourism development, including mitigating the impacts of climate change. This study uses a qualitative method with a Systematic Literature Review approach. The sample used is a masterplan document from the local government. The results of the study show that although the ITMP issued by the World Bank contains guidelines for climate change mitigation in the tourism sector, the guidelines have not been fully implemented or adapted in the regional master plan. However, the regional masterplan document has shown attention to climate change. Improvement and implementation of the master plan for climate change mitigation are needed. The recommendations given are to adopt aspects of tourism development related to climate change prevention and to prepare relevant implementing regulations.

Abstract

Tourism has become one of the major industries of many countries in the world. Do not miss the Indonesian state which is trying to take opportunities from the industry. In Indonesia, in the last five years, development has been very rapid because each region is trying to optimize its regional potential to boost the tourism industry. This is supported by the existence of regional autonomy which gives freedom to the regions to maximize the utilization of their potential to increase local revenue. The development of this potential is carried out by taking into account sustainable development along with the potentials and problems that each region has. A conservation area is an area or area that has been determined by the government as an area that must be protected so that the condition of the area remains sustainable. The importance of providing awareness and understanding (public awareness) about the conservation area is expected that the community will be able to play an active role in efforts to preserve the area. Based on this description, it is very important to make efforts to create public awareness in the Karimun Jawa Conservation Area. This activity is expected to increase awareness and understanding (public awareness) about conservation areas.

Abstract

Advances in digital technology and various regulatory changes have triggered a spike in trade in imported products domestically which are sold cheaply, and in the last two years it has increased rapidly. This had an impact on the buildup in the inspection process at the Customs office, so that there were several products that experienced delays in delivery and became a problem for consumers and traders who resold these imported products domestically. This study aims to examine the work performance of the East Java customs office in handling consumer complaints, by applying the customer relationship management approach and service quality standards as stipulated in PAN-RB Ministerial Decree No. 14 of 2017 concerning community satisfaction with the performance of government officials in public services. This study took purposive sampling of consumers in East Java with the aim of testing the consumer relations management approach, and the quality of customs services moderated by complaint handling on customer satisfaction. The results of multiple regression analysis prove that customer relationship management (CRM) and quality of customs services together have a direct effect on customer satisfaction; customer relationship management, and the quality of customs services together influence customer satisfaction which is moderated by complaint handling; and partially the application of CRM and quality of service through handling complaints has an effect on community satisfaction. This is also evidenced by the value of the customer satisfaction index which shows that consumers are satisfied with the services of the customs office in East Java.

Abstract

The development of technology in the automotive sector, especially motorcycles is increasing. This is indicated by the use of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology for the inclusion of the fuel system. Therefore, motorcycle repair shops must continue to upgrade their mechanical skills and expertise to meet customer needs in vehicle servicing. Kiki Motor Workshop is a motorcycle repair shop that is engaged in the service and replacement of motorcycle spare parts on micro exhibits. Judging from the service activities in the workshop, the average category of motorcycle being serviced is conventional technology (carburetor). Efforts are needed to improve the quality of human resources so that the workshop is able to receive motorcycle service services with EFI technology. The application of injector cleaner technology is a community service program that aims to improve the quality of services at the Kiki Motor workshop. In addition to improving the quality of the workshop, this program is expected to increase the income of the workshop.

Abstract

Pengembangan sektor pariwisata memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat setempat sekaligus memperkuat identitas budaya daerah. Namun, promosi dan penyampaian informasi terkait destinasi wisata masih terbatas pada media cetak konvensional yang bersifat statis, kurang interaktif, dan belum mampu menyesuaikan dengan kebutuhan wisatawan digital masa kini. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan booklet interaktif berbasis digital sebagai sarana promosi wisata yang lebih menarik, informatif, dan mudah diakses oleh berbagai kalangan. Booklet ini dilengkapi dengan elemen digital seperti QR code yang mengarahkan pengguna ke konten multimedia berupa video profil destinasi, peta digital, serta informasi tambahan tentang objek wisata, kebudayaan lokal, dan kuliner khas daerah. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi analisis kebutuhan, perancangan konten, pengembangan desain booklet interaktif, serta uji coba penerapan kepada masyarakat dan wisatawan. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa booklet interaktif mampu meningkatkan daya tarik promosi, memperluas jangkauan informasi, serta memperkuat partisipasi masyarakat dalam upaya pengembangan pariwisata berkelanjutan. Dengan demikian, implementasi booklet interaktif ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model inovatif dalam strategi promosi wisata berbasis teknologi digital dan partisipasi komunitas.
