Abstract

During the Covid-19 pandemic, almost all economic sectors are experiencing a downturn, so the district and city governments in Madiun are taking tactical steps, namely accelerating economic recovery through optimizing Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). which is seen as effective in sustaining the community's economy. So this research wants to examine the governance of BUMDes, which drives alliance business collaboration with MSMEs and other business managers to improve marketing performance. Descriptive quantitative research collected data using a questionnaire that was distributed to 78 administrators and documented data on the management of BUMDes and UMKM in the Madiun area. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis show that the management of BUMDes to improve market performance is carried out by strengthening collaboration with UMKM, using IT and innovation in the procurement of joint business stalls. Business collaboration with UMKM and individual businesses has also proven capable of improving marketing performance, which since collaboration has increased profitability, expanded marketing areas, and increased the number of market segments. So it can be concluded that improving business governance and alliance business collaboration driven by BUMDes can improve marketing performance.

Abstract

Nature school is a new concept in education that utilizes and protects nature for life as a medium for learning and character building. This study aims to evaluatively examine the curriculum in natural schools in accordance with the issuance of the independent learning program policy. This qualitative research uses a descriptive-explorative approach, and the analysis is carried out interpretively. The results of this study indicate that natural schools implement the 2013 curriculum which is integrated with the thematic curriculum which has been integrated with the religious education model in the teaching and learning process. In an evaluative process, the implications and outputs show that natural schools are better able to apply the principle of independent learning as a quality policy, whereas in public schools the principle of self-learning is reported to be still a formality and does not yet have measurable suggestions, due to the readiness of the education staff. This is what distinguishes the typical curriculum in natural schools which applies the principle of independent learning to the pattern applied in public schools. Researchers found that there was a development of program development interaction patterns in natural schools that absorbed the independent learning program, namely connecting between elements in each principle of achieving learning outcomes and their long-term impact.

Abstract

Abstract

The development of technology in the automotive sector, especially motorcycles is increasing. This is indicated by the use of Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) technology for the inclusion of the fuel system. Therefore, motorcycle repair shops must continue to upgrade their mechanical skills and expertise to meet customer needs in vehicle servicing. Kiki Motor Workshop is a motorcycle repair shop that is engaged in the service and replacement of motorcycle spare parts on micro exhibits. Judging from the service activities in the workshop, the average category of motorcycle being serviced is conventional technology (carburetor). Efforts are needed to improve the quality of human resources so that the workshop is able to receive motorcycle service services with EFI technology. The application of injector cleaner technology is a community service program that aims to improve the quality of services at the Kiki Motor workshop. In addition to improving the quality of the workshop, this program is expected to increase the income of the workshop.

Abstract

Background: Indonesia's updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets net zero emissions by 2060, making the transition to renewable energy particularly locally based sources—essential for climate mitigation. Biomass, as a key renewable resource, is utilized through the Energy Independent Village (Desa Mandiri Energi, DME) program, including in Kaliombo Village, Jepara, which uses buffalo dung as a sustainable energy source. Objective: This study evaluates the management effectiveness of a biomass-based Energy Independent Village (DME) program in Kaliombo Village, Jepara Regency, Indonesia, and its contribution to the national zero carbon NDC target by 2060. Methods: Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews with village officials, program managers, and community members, supplemented by observation and documentation. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis with triangulation to ensure trustworthiness. Result: Findings reveal that while the program demonstrates measurable contributions to local energy security and green energy production, long-term sustainability depends on strengthened managerial capacity, community participation, and policy alignment. Conclusion: This study provides managerial insights for improving renewable energy governance at the village level and offers a replicable framework for developing biomass-based rural energy in support of national decarbonization goals. This study contributes a replicable governance framework for biomass-based rural energy programs, advancing the discourse on decentralized renewable energy management in developing countries.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of sustainable tourism with a focus on the role of transportation infrastructure and government regulations as determining factors for the success of coastal tourism destinations in East Java. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and document studies. The results show that improvements in transportation infrastructure, such as improved road access and port facilities, contribute to increased accessibility and economic opportunities for local communities. However, the limitations of public transportation, the unavailability of environmentally friendly modes, and the uneven distribution of supporting infrastructure are still obstacles. On the other hand, the government has established a tourism management policy, but its implementation has not been optimal due to inconsistent cross-sector coordination and supervision. The study confirms that success in sustainable tourism requires integration between strengthening infrastructure, collaborative governance, and utilizing supporting technologies.
