Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of innovation in agribusiness management on enhancing competitiveness in the global market. In the context of globalization and increasingly competitive international market dynamics, Indonesian agribusiness faces challenges not only to survive but also to compete with other countries that are more advanced in terms of technology and managerial systems. The method used is quantitative, with a survey approach targeting agribusiness actors from various business scales. The research instrument in the form of a questionnaire was developed based on four dimensions of innovation: process innovation, product innovation, managerial innovation, and marketing innovation. Data analysis was carried out using multiple linear regression to determine the extent to which each innovation variable affects agribusiness competitiveness. The research findings indicate that all four types of innovation simultaneously and partially have a positive and significant influence on competitiveness in the global market. These findings emphasize the importance of an innovative management approach in future agribusiness development strategies. The practical implication of this research is the need for policy support that fosters an innovation ecosystem, enhances business actors' capacity, and provides access to modern technology to sustainably strengthen the position of Indonesian agribusiness in the global market.

Abstract

Sustainable livestock management practices are increasingly vital in addressing the dual challenges of meeting rising global demand for animal products and minimizing environmental impact. This study employs a qualitative approach using literature review and library research to explore methods that balance livestock production with environmental conservation. The findings reveal that sustainable practices such as rotational grazing, integrated crop-livestock systems, and precision feeding significantly enhance resource efficiency and reduce ecological footprints. Additionally, the implementation of biogas production from manure and improved waste management systems demonstrates potential in mitigating greenhouse gas emissions and soil degradation. Key drivers of adoption include policy support, farmer education, and market incentives, while barriers include financial constraints, lack of technical knowledge, and resistance to change. The study also highlights the role of technological innovations and community-based initiatives in fostering sustainable practices across different socio-economic and ecological contexts. By synthesizing insights from previous research, this paper underscores the importance of collaborative approaches that engage stakeholders at all levels to achieve sustainability in livestock management. The results contribute to the broader discourse on sustainable agriculture, offering practical recommendations for policymakers, farmers, and researchers to promote environmentally friendly livestock systems without compromising productivity. This study emphasizes that achieving the delicate balance between production and conservation requires integrated strategies tailored to local conditions and global sustainability goals.

Abstract

This study examines the socio-economic impacts of agricultural land conversion into industrial areas in rural Indonesia using qualitative methods based on literature. This transformation drives a process of de-agrarianization that alters income sources, work structures, and social identities in rural communities. Land conversion triggers diversification of livelihood strategies, increases land prices, and shifts in asset ownership, but compensation that is not managed productively has the potential to undermine economic independence. The impact on food security and sovereignty is significant, as reduced harvested areas reduce local production and increase dependence on external supplies. The shift in values from a subsistence ethos to an industrial logic triggers cultural lag, erodes social cohesion, and changes gender roles and domestic work patterns. The presence of migrant workers and the demand for industrial skills create new social stratifications that widen inequalities. Institutional factors such as transparency in compensation and strengthening village institutions determine whether this change leads to upward mobility or structural poverty. This study emphasizes the need for mitigation strategies that combine structural and cultural dimensions, including land protection, skills development, and strengthening social capital, to ensure rural industrialization is inclusive and does not deepen inequality. These findings are expected to inform equitable and sustainable village development policies

Abstract

When researchers carried out service to Karang Tarruna, Baji Mappakasunggu Village, Makassar, Indonesia, Ciumbuleuit Village, Bandung, Kerinci Village, Jambi, Amali Village, Bone Regency, and Serengan Village, Surakarta. Researchers found a problem that Karang Taruna in the five villages did not have a source of income so that when carrying out activities, they were too dependent on funds owned by the village government. As a result, the resulting work program does not have significant implications for achieving the desired goals. After discussion, the writer and servant have a solution for Kaarang Taruna to have a digital business/digital-based MSME with the following urgency and reasons: 1). Digital Business/Digital-based MSMEs have several urgencies, namely that Karang Taruna can not depend on the village government, can produce activities that are of higher quality and have a more significant impact, and the Karang Taruna and young people empowerment program can run and the quality always increases . 2). Digital Business/Digital MSMEs is the most suitable and appropriate business model because you don't have to have a lot of capital, don't have rental costs, and marketing can be done in a quicker and shorter time.
