Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru dalam merancang modul ajar berbasis deep learning yang terintegrasi dengan Artificial Intelligence (AI). Permasalahan mitra di UPTD SMP Negeri 1 Panei Kabupaten Simalungun meliputi rendahnya literasi digital guru dan minimnya pemanfaatan AI dalam pengembangan modul ajar. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif melalui tahapan sosialisasi, pelatihan intensif, pendampingan, serta evaluasi berbasis pre-test dan post-test. Subjek kegiatan terdiri atas 51 guru SMP. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pemahaman guru terhadap AI dan pengembangan modul ajar, ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan skor rata-rata dari 55 pada pre-test menjadi 80 pada post-test. Selain itu, kegiatan menghasilkan 20 modul ajar terintegrasi AI yang siap digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Program ini berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pembelajaran dan mendukung terwujudnya pendidikan inklusif dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

One of indicator important in evaluation quality something college tall is level graduation students. Graduation rate appropriate time students become a reflection from the quality of the learning process which ultimately also influences accreditation institutions or study program. The purpose of this research is to analyze how to increase student graduation rates and reduce dropout rates through more accurate and effective data-based policy recommendations. There are Lots factor affecting graduation student so that need determined factors significant influence level graduation said. With do analysis to data and predictions graduation students, institutions expected can give appropriate intervention for increase level graduates and identify at-risk students experience late graduation. In research this using the Naïve Bayes method for predict graduation student based on various factors. The data used in study this is the data obtained from students of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, HKBP Nommensen University. The results of study this show accuracy 80%, precision 88.24%, and recall 88.24%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze how the use of R Project Software in mathematical statistics courses can contribute to improving students' critical thinking skills, especially in the context of data-based decision making. Indicators of critical thinking in decision making with R Project: 1) interpretation (can write what is known and asked in the question clearly or identify the problem correctly); 2) analysis (can write what must be done in solving the problem); 3) inference (can draw conclusions from what is asked logically and visualize the results); 4) evaluation (can write down the solution to the problem and build a model to evaluate alternatives); and 5) explanation (can provide reasons for the conclusions drawn). The research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach. This research has a population of 80 students with a sample size of 40 students using non-probability sampling with the purposive sampling technique. By using a significance level of 5% and a df value of nk = 40 - 2 = 38, the ttable value is 1.686. The tcount value of 3.383 exceeds the ttable value of 1.686, indicating that the null hypothesis is rejected at a 95% confidence level. And, keep the abstract concise by stating only the conclusion of the statistical test (significant positive effect). Thus, R Project can be recommended as a natural analysis tool for learning mathematical statistics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemberdayaan anak Sekolah Minggu melalui kegiatan belajar yang menyenangkan. Pemberdayaan anak dalam Sekolah Minggu sangat penting untuk mendukung perkembangan iman, karakter, kreativitas, serta rasa percaya diri mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi selama kegiatan Sekolah Minggu berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan belajar yang menyenangkan seperti permainan edukatif, bernyanyi, bercerita Alkitab secara interaktif, diskusi kelompok, dan kegiatan kreatif mampu meningkatkan partisipasi, motivasi, serta pemahaman anak terhadap nilai-nilai Kristiani. Selain itu, suasana belajar yang positif dan mendukung turut mempererat hubungan antara guru dan anak serta mendorong keterlibatan aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan belajar yang menyenangkan dinilai efektif dalam memberdayakan anak Sekolah Minggu karena mampu mengembangkan aspek kognitif, afektif, dan sosial secara seimbang dan bermakna.

Abstract

One of the educational problems that has become a priority is the quality of education. From the various problems in the field, the effort we can make is to develop student-centered learning. Based on observations conducted at SMA Negeri 15 Medan, many teachers tend to use an expository model and assign individual tasks rather than group work in the classroom learning process. Most of the homework completed by students tends to have the same answers. Data obtained from the mathematics teacher indicates that student learning outcomes are still relatively low, as seen from the results of the odd semester final exam 2023/2024, where 58% of students scored below 70. This is caused by a lack of understanding and mastery of the material, so the learning outcomes achieved are not yet satisfactory. Therefore, teachers must choose a learning implementation that can make the material meaningful to students. One alternative for selecting a learning strategy is reciprocal learning assisted by open-ended questions. This study aims to determine whether the use of the Reciprocal Learning strategy can improve students' mathematical problem-solving abilities. This study is a Classroom Action Research using Reciprocal Learning with four main activities, namely questioning, clarifying, predicting, and summarizing/reviewing, with stages including: planning, implementation, monitoring, and reflection carried out in several cycles. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 15 Medan in class XI IPA. Data collection techniques were through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and tests.
