Abstract

Kabupaten Nunukan sebagai Kabupaten dengan penduduk terbanyak di Kalimantan Utara memiliki potensi besar dalam pertanian dan peternakan, namun minim pengetahuan tentang manfaat dan cara pengelolaan limbah organik. Hal ini memunculkan urgensi pentingnya pengelolaan limbah organik, seperti kotoran kambing yang dapat menjadi sumber pencemaran lingkungan jika tidak ditangani dengan baik. Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini berfokus pada upaya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pengelolaan limbah kotoran kambing sebagai pupuk kompos alternatif melalui sosialisasi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi kegiatan sosialisasi dan diskusi kepada masyarakat dalam mengelola limbah kotoran kambing menjadi pupuk kompos. Kegiatan dievaluasi melalui hasil preferensi mitra yang dicatat melalui penggunaan kuesioner dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil dari program pengabdian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan dalam pengetahuan dan keterampilan mitra terkait pengelolaan limbah kotoran kambing menjadi pupuk organik. Pengetahuan mitra meningkat 90% setelah pelaksanaan kegiatan, sedangkan keterampilan meningkat 85%. Program pengabdian masyarakat ini berdampak positif dalam membangun kesadaran mitra tentang kelestarian lingkungan.

Abstract

Bina Warga Farm has problems in cultivation, namely still needing to gain knowledge in organisms that disturb plants and high production costs caused by using chemical herbicides to control weeds in cultivated plants. PKM aims to apply technology to formulate plant-based herbicides from weeds and increase insight into handling organisms that disturb plants. This PKM activity was carried out at the Bina Warga Farm, Kampung 1 Village, Central Tarakan District, Tarakan City, North Kalimantan. The activities carried out by PKM are preliminary surveys, outreach, introduction and handling of the organism that disturbed the plant, production needs analysis, assistance in marketing harvests, and monitoring and evaluation of activities. As a result of PKM activities, the Bina Warga Farm was able to create plant-based herbicide formulations, increase understanding of the handling of organisms that disturbed plants, and expand sales of crops.

Abstract

This paper aims to determine the process of determining and implementing the policies of the Yogyakarta City Education Council in creating an environment and learning process that allows students to realize their full potential. Therefore, it is necessary to understand Islamic education. For this reason, it is necessary to understand Islamic education because the educational process leads to the development of a complete and comprehensive personality, both physically and mentally. This study used descriptive qualitative research and data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. This study found that the Yogyakarta City Education Council did not limit it to Islamic education because Indonesia recognizes other religions and beliefs all religions are equally included in the character education group.

Abstract

The discussion in this article focuses on the bureaucracy and cultural behavior of the organization in one of the Islamic educational institutions in the city of Yogyakarta. In this paper the author focuses on Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School Complex Q Krapyak Yogyakarta in maintaining and advancing its existence towards implementing institutional bureaucracy in building organizational behavior and culture. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative study. Data collection techniques in this paper through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that the success of Islamic educational institutions certainly can not be separated from how the role of a dialogic bureaucracy in the distribution of structures, tasks and institutional elements that are formulated through discussion rooms or deliberations, behavior and organizational culture with a rolling job system and instill attitudes of Islamic moral values and preserving the culture of Javanese people by making it a habit to communicate using local languages to instill cultural values by building a sense of ukhuwah in organizing within the scope of the Al-Munawwir Islamic Boarding School Complex Q Krapyak Yogyakarta

Abstract

Websites and cloud computing are strategic foundations for supporting digital marketing, education management, and marketing strategies in primary and secondary education schools. The website functions as an official information centre that conveys the achievements that have been achieved by the school, activities, and superior programs, as well as a marketing tool to build school branding. Cloud computing technology supports efficient data management, collaboration, and marketing optimization. This study aims to review the role of websites and integration of productivity suite platforms in supporting digital marketing for education management in primary and secondary education schools, as well as the implementation of effective marketing strategies for non-profit schools. With strong branding, effective marketing communications, and data-driven analytics, schools can increase visibility, public trust, and audience engagement. The integration of technologies such as productivity suite platforms further strengthens the operational efficiency and effectiveness of school marketing. This study is expected to provide valuable insights for stakeholders in the field of education regarding best practices and innovative strategies in utilizing websites and cloud computing technology to achieve school goals in the digital era.

Abstract

Seiring pertumbuhan seorang individu berlangsung pula proses perubahan fisik serta spiritual. Berlangsungnya proses pertumbuhan berimbas pada fisik yang mencapai tingkat kematangannya. Puncak pertumbuhan adalah masa dewasa. Namun spiritual batas yang jelas tentang batas usia kematangan spiritual belum dapat dijabarkan oleh psikologi perkembangan. Di sinilah tampaknya pendidikan mengambil peran aktifnya. Demi mempersiapkan individu untuk puncak pertumbuhan spiritual yang sempurna, pendidikan spiritual harus dijalankan secara menyeluruh dan bertahap. Artikel ini diharapkan dapat memberi pemahaman terutama kepada pendidik tentang perkembangan spiritual anak yang berdampak pada kemudahan dalam melaksanakan pendidikan Islam. Selain itu diharapkan dapat memudahkan pendidik untuk membentuk dan mengembangkan sikap spiritual sedari dini dan dilakukan sesuai dengan karakteristik kognitif dan emosi anak itu sendiri. Artikel ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan mengkaji buku-buku relevan serta jurnal cetak maupun online, baik jurnal nasional dan jurnal lain yang dapat menjadi sumber pembahasan permasalahan dalam topik penelitian ini. Hasil pembahasan artikel ini adalah apa saja tahapan perkembangan rasa spiritual anak dan bagaimana keberpengaruhan tahapan tersebut terhadap penerimaan anak dalam proses pendidikan Islamnya. Selain itu dapat diketahui bahwa setiap tahap perkembangan rasa spiritual seiringan dengan perkembangan fisik dan psikisnya, yang dipengaruhi juga oleh interaksi anak dengan lingkungan.Kata Kunci: Perkembangan, Spiritual, Pendidikan, Anak

Abstract

The significance of the moderate Islam internalization approach within the educational context of border regions underscores the relevance and importance of this research endeavor. By focusing on the pivotal role of educators as primary agents, it becomes imperative to formulate effective strategies aimed at enhancing the literacy of moderate Islamic principles as an integral facet of personal and societal development within vocational school environments. The purpose of this study is to examine the efficacy of literacy-based instructional methods in promoting and cultivating religious moderation among educators in vocational schools situated within border regions. The research employs a quasi-experimental methodology with a primary emphasis on assessing the impact of literacy-oriented instruction on the comprehension of the significance of practicing religion moderately. This study also investigates the development of attitudes and behaviors characterized by religious moderation, as well as the fostering of sincere ethics and friendships among adherents of diverse faiths. The research findings indicate a positive effect of the literacy-based instructional approach on the predefined objectives. Educators who participated in this instructional approach demonstrated an improved understanding of the importance of practicing religion moderately. Moreover, they exhibited an enhanced ability to cultivate attitudes and behaviors characterized by religious moderation in their daily lives. The interaction between educators and practitioners of different faiths also exhibited greater harmony, thereby fostering an enhanced ethical framework for religious practice.

Abstract

Perkuliahan Agama Islam konvensional memiliki kendala dalam interaktivitas dan metode pengajaran yang dominan ceramah dan mengurangi keterlibatan mahasiswa. Sehingga diperlukan pendekatan E-Learning terintegrasi untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berpikir kritis, kreativitas, dan kolaborasi mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran Agama Islam di perguruan tinggi. Penelitian ini menerapkan model Analisis, Desain, Pengembangan, Implementasi, dan Evaluasi (ADDIE) dalam pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek Terintegrasi YouTube untuk Mata Kuliah Agama Islam di Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Model ADDIE diadaptasi untuk merinci langkah-langkah pengembangan dan implementasi media pembelajaran dengan fokus pada interaktivitas dan metode pengajaran yang berbasis proyek. Pengujian konstruk dilakukan oleh peneliti sebagai dosen dan pengujian konten melibatkan 26 mahasiswa sebagai pengguna. Data kualitatif dalam penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan langkah-langkah interatif yaitu membaca/mengingat, mendeskripsikan, dan mengklasifikasikan, kemudian data kuantitatif  dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Google Classroom terintegrasi YouTube telah dihasilkan dan diuji untuk mata pelajaran Studi Islam. Pengujian konstruk menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini "layak" berdasarkan penilaian Koordinator Tim Dosen serta ahli media pembelajaran, dan berdasarkan respons pengguna menunjukkan bahwa keandalan konstruknya "baik". Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek Terintegrasi YouTube secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dalam konteks mata kuliah Agama Islam di Universitas Borneo Tarakan. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa integrasi E-Learning dengan model ADDIE dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan kualitas pengajaran.

Abstract

The present study aims to design a mobile application dictionary that caters to students' needs for enhancing IT-focused English vocabulary. The study explores the effectiveness of the designed mobile application in improving students' IT-focused English vocabulary, their engagement in vocabulary learning, and their overall satisfaction with the application. This research aims to design a mobile application dictionary to enhance IT-Focused English Vocabulary. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative interviews and a quantitative survey, to understand the design requirements, implementation strategies, and effectiveness of the mobile application dictionary. The qualitative phase involves semi-structured interviews with IT students and subject matter experts to gain insights into the learners' challenges, preferences, and needs, as well as the crucial IT English vocabulary concepts. The quantitative phase evaluates the impact of the mobile application dictionary on IT students' vocabulary knowledge, confidence, and overall satisfaction through a survey. The integrated findings will provide a comprehensive understanding of the factors that contribute to the success of mobile application dictionaries in enhancing IT students' informatics English vocabulary, with practical implications for the development of similar language learning tools.

Abstract

The technological era of disruption 4.0, education plays an important role in preparing superior, skilled, professional, and competitive human resources. The Indonesian government must make comprehensive preparations, including improving quality education services that can produce graduates according to their fields of expertise. Vocational High School (SMK) focuses on developing students' ability to work in a particular field, adapt to the work environment, and see future job opportunities. In particular, the agribusiness expertise program for agricultural product processing in SMK has great potential to support the local economy and farmers' welfare. Evaluating the competency profile of SMK graduates in this field is crucial to ensure the curriculum's suitability with the job market's needs. This study aims to evaluate the profile of agribusiness competence in SMK, using data from the education curriculum, stakeholder perspectives, and the development of the agribusiness industry. The research method used is qualitative-quantitative, with data obtained through observation, interviews, and surveys at SMK Negeri 3 Tarakan, SMK Negeri 1 Nunukan, and several MSMEs in North Kalimantan. The results showed that several competence points had yet to be maximised in its application, such as quality management, food safety standards, and production process management. Factors that influence the suboptimal application of competencies include limited resources, facilities, and access to technology. This study recommends improving teaching staff qualifications, facilities and infrastructure, and access to technology to improve learning effectiveness. Thus, it is expected that vocational education in Indonesia can be more relevant and efficient in preparing graduates who are ready to face challenges and opportunities in the agribusiness sector of agricultural product processing.
