Abstract

Abstrak Kesiapsiagaan bencana perlu ditanamkan sejak usia dini terutama di wilayah rawan bencana seperti Pulau Sebesi, Lampung Selatan. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan mitigasi bencana pada anak usia dini, guru, dan orang tua melalui edukasi berbasis media inovatif. Metode yang digunakan meliputi observasi awal, pelatihan guru, sosialisasi orang tua, edukasi anak melalui game edukatif SMIGGI, papan interaktif, lagu mitigasi, simulasi evakuasi, serta evaluasi dengan pre-test, post-test, dan observasi langsung. Kegiatan dilakukan pada tanggal 5-7 Agustus 2025 yang melibatkan 23 anak, 23 orang tua, dan 4 guru PAUD. Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pengetahuan guru (rata-rata skor naik dari 55% menjadi 88%) dan orang tua (dari 48% menjadi 82%). Anak-anak juga menunjukkan keterampilan yang baik: 78% mampu memainkan game SMIGGI secara mandiri, 91% berhasil menempelkan prosedur mitigasi di papan interaktif dengan benar, dan 91% dapat menyanyikan lagu mitigasimem dengan lancar. Simulasi evakuasi memperlihatkan sebagian besar anak mampu mengikuti instruksi dengan tertib. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pendekatan bermain, bernyanyi, dan praktik langsung efektif meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan bencana sejak dini. Program ini merekomendasikan integrasi media edukasi ke dalam kurikulum PAUD serta pengulangan simulasi secara rutin agar kesiapsiagaan anak dan keluarga dapat terus terjaga. Kata kunci: anak usia dini; game edukatif; kesiapsiagaan; mitigasi bencana; papan interaktif. Abstract Disaster preparedness needs to be instilled from an early age, especially in disaster-prone areas such as Sebesi Island, South Lampung. This community service activity aims to improve understanding and disaster mitigation skills in early childhood, teachers, and parents through innovative media-based education. The methods used include initial observation, teacher training, parent socialization, children's education through SMIGGI educational games, interactive boards, mitigation songs, evacuation simulations, and evaluation with pre-test, post-test, and direct observation. The activity involved 23 children, 23 parents, and 4 PAUD teachers. The results showed a significant increase in the knowledge of teachers (the average score increased from 55% to 88%) and parents (from 48% to 82%). Children also showed good skills: 78% were able to play SMIGGI games independently, 91% managed to correctly paste the mitigation procedures on the interactive board, and 91% were able to sing mitigation songs fluently. The evacuation simulation showed that most of the children were able to follow instructions in an orderly manner. These findings confirm that play, singing, and hands-on practices are effective in improving disaster preparedness early on. This program recommends the integration of educational media into the PAUD curriculum and the regular repetition of simulations so that the preparedness of children and families can continue to be maintained. Keywords: disaster mitigation; early childhood; educational games; interactive boards; preparedness.

Abstract

Abstrak Tingkat pengangguran di Indonesia yang cukup tinggi sangat mempengaruhi tingkat kesejahteraan masyarakat kita. Anak-anak di jalanan yang harusnya masih bisa meraih jenjang pendidikan yang tinggi justru harus harus kandas karena ekonomi keluarga yang tidak mendukung. Adapun permasalahan umur yang menjadi batasan untuk mecari kerja sehingga harus menunggu umur yang tepat agar bisa melamar pekerjaan. Dengan adanya ilmu tentang kewirausahaan disini yaitu untuk memberikan ilmu pengetahuan bagi mereka baik pengangguran lulusan sekolah maupun mahasiswa yang masih mengalami kendala dalam bekerja. Dengan memanfaatkan kreativitas yang ada sehingga hal itu setidaknya bisa membuat pengangguran, lulusan sekolah dan mahasiswa bisa mendapatkan penghasilan. Dengan menggunakan metode pelaksanaan berupa penyampaian materi mengenai business model canvas, analisis sumber daya manusia yang dimiliki, analisis ide produk dengan google trends lalu diungkapkan melalui value propotion sehingga mendapatkan hasil serta arah yang jelas mengenai usaha yang dijalankan. Setelah itu dilakukanlah kegiatan praktikum untuk membuat produk dengan satu contoh yaitu cold pressed juice yang dimana mahasiswa/i bisa memanfaatkan buah-buahan serta sayuran yang ada sehingga menghasilkan produk minuman sari buah murni tanpa campuran air atau pemanis buatan lainnya. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini, mahasiswa memperoleh pemahaman mendalam baik itu mengenai bisnis, pemasaran, sustainable melalui konsep bisnis cold pressed juice. Dalam kegiatan ini diharapkan bisa membekali mahasiswa dengan keterampilan seta pengetahuan yang baik untuk terjun ke dunia bisnis, menciptakan lapangan pekerjaan serta memberikan kontribusi positif untuk kemajuan ekonomi Indonesia. Kata kunci: pengabdian kepada masyarakat; value propotion canvas; google trends; bussiness idea. Abstract The relatively high unemployment rate in Indonesia greatly affects the level of welfare of our society. Children on the streets who should still be able to achieve a high level of education have to fail because the family economy is not supportive. The problem with age is that it limits them when looking for work, so they have to wait for the right age to be able to apply for a job. The existence of knowledge about entrepreneurship is here to provide knowledge for those who still experience problems in working. Utilizing existing creativity can at least enable them to earn income. By using an implementation method in the form of delivering material regarding the business model canvas, analyzing the human resources they have, analyzing product ideas using Google Trends, and then expressing them through value proportions so that they get clear results and direction regarding their business. After that, practical activities were carried out to make products with one example, namely cold pressed juice, where they could use existing fruits and vegetables to produce pure fruit juice drink products without a mixture of water or other artificial sweeteners. Through this community service activity, students gain a deep understanding of business, marketing, and sustainability through the cold-pressed juice business concept. It is hoped that this activity can equip students with good skills and knowledge to enter the business world, create jobs, and make a positive contribution to Indonesia's economic progress. Keywords: community service; value proportion canvas; google trends; business idea.

Abstract

Online and home learning during the COVID-19 pandemic present several challenges and risks of learning loss that have a long-term impact on children. Because of this, kindergarten principals are encouraged to take practical and strategic steps in dealing with crises for the sake of the continuity and sustainability of education. Thus, this study aims at determining the effective leadership of kindergarten principals in dealing with the impact of learning loss in early childhood during the COVID-19 pandemic. The approach used is qualitative with a case study design and four research participants, namely three principals with different geographical backgrounds. Data were collected through interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The research findings show that all participants have had proactive leadership in the ability to choose responses to the pandemic to improve teaching quality, institutional resilience, and the development of further innovation. They took initiative and anticipatory steps to reduce the impact of learning loss, such as blended learning, visiting teacher programs, literacy movements, and parenting programs. Kindergarten principals with rural geographical conditions have not shown a win-win mindset, especially in the aspect of negotiating and finding alternative solutions together, as evidenced by the lack of school efforts to build agreements with school members in overcoming learning loss in children during online learning. Furthermore, kindergartens with suburban geographical conditions did not reflect self-honing behavior in terms of physical dimensions because the pandemic has added a burden to the mind and reduced rest time, which hinders the kindergarten principal in ensuring his physical health.

Abstract

Parents’ and teachers’ collaboration is increasingly recognized as a cornerstone of effective early childhood education (ECE), particularly in the implementation of guidance practices that foster children’s holistic development. Guidance in ECE emphasizes understanding and supportive teaching rather than punitive discipline, positioning both teachers and parents as key facilitators of children’s growth. This study investigates how partnerships between parents and teachers are built and sustained within collaborative guidance programs in kindergartens using Epstein’s Framework of parental involvement. This qualitative study involved semi-structured interviews with teachers, parents, and principals from three kindergartens in Serang, Indonesia, and data were analyzed using Braun and Clarke’s thematic analysis. Findings reveal three key themes: (1) partnerships are grounded in mutual trust, structured communication, and shared responsibility; (2) collaborative guidance practices reflect several dimensions of parental involvement, with parenting and communicating emerging as the most dominant forms, particularly within personal-social guidance activities; and (3) challenges such as limited parental time, unequal participation, minimum training, and sociocultural hierarchy hinder sustained collaboration. The study contributes novel insight into how guidance services can be co-constructed by families and educators in ECE settings. Practically, the findings highlight the need for structured communication systems, capacity-building programs, and institutional support to strengthen parent–teacher partnerships in implementing guidance practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Smart Apps Creator-based Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS) educational games in improving early childhood health literacy as a continuation of previous research that focused on media development and feasibility (Rahayu & Arzaqi, 2025). The research method used was a quasi-experiment with a one group pretest posttest design that was complemented by observation during implementation. The research subjects consisted of three children aged 57 years who were accompanied by students, with a five day implementation time which included one day of pretest, three days of game implementation, and one day of posttest. The aspects of health literacy studied include personal and environmental hygiene, healthy food, and physical activity. The research instruments were in the form of pretest, posttest, and observation sheets per PHBS game level, then analyzed descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in children's health literacy in all aspects of PHBS studied. The improvement was seen gradually through the results of daily observation which showed the development of independence, consistency, and accuracy of children's responses in completing each level of the game, and was strengthened by better posttest results than pretests. These findings show that PHBS educational games based on Smart Apps Creator are effectively used as an applicative and contextual health learning media for early childhood.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis kemampuan regulasi emosi anak yatim piatu yang mengalami kehilangan kedua orang tua serta mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi regulasi emosi di lingkungan sekolah. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Subjek penelitian adalah seorang anak, dengan informan pendukung yaitu guru kelas dan wali anak. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa anak mampu mengenali dan mengekspresikan emosi secara tepat, khususnya dalam situasi bermain. Namun, kemampuan memahami penyebab munculnya emosi masih terbatas. Anak cenderung menggunakan strategi regulasi emosi berupa menarik diri dan menenangkan diri yang menunjukkan bentuk koping adaptif. Dukungan guru dan wali berperan penting dalam membantu anak mengelola emosi dan beradaptasi dengan pengalaman kehilangan. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya dukungan pendidikan yang responsif dalam memperkuat kemampuan regulasi emosi anak yatim piatu pada pendidikan anak usia dini.

Abstract

This study examines the integration of Prasiaga values within the Independent Curriculum and their contribution to the development of early childhood independence. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research involved two A-accredited early childhood education (ECE) institutions that had implemented Prasiaga-based activities. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and document analysis, and were analyzed using thematic analysis supported by source triangulation. The findings reveal that the two institutions integrate Prasiaga values through different approaches. The first ECE implements a creative model based on digital exploration, while the second adopts a structured habituation approach. Both approaches contribute to children’s independence, particularly in initiative, responsibility, decision-making, and readiness to engage in daily tasks. Nevertheless, challenges arise from variations in children’s abilities and teachers’ limitations in designing value-based activities. These findings contribute theoretically to the discourse on character education within the Independent Curriculum and offer practical implications for PAUD institutions in strengthening the systematic integration of Prasiaga values.

Abstract

Harassement verbal di sekolah berdampak fatal terhadap degradasi kepercayaan diri dan kesehatan mental anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis peran implementasi iklim Sekolah Ramah Anak (SRA) dalam meminimalisir perilaku harassment verbal. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara bersama guru dan anak, serta dokumentasi. Keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber dan metode, dengan tahapan analisis meliputi reduksi, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun perilaku harassment verbal masih ditemukan, pihak sekolah langsung memberikan tindak lanjut berupa perhatian khusus dan pendampingan positif. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa iklim SRA sangat krusial sebagai instrumen perlindungan anak. Prinsip SRA menciptakan ruang aman dan nyaman yang mampu menjamin, memenuhi, dan menghargai hak-hak anak serta melindungi mereka dari segala bentuk kekerasan, diskriminasi, dan perlakuan salah. Dengan demikian, iklim SRA berhasil menciptakan ruang aman linguistik yang memproteksi integritas psikologis anak dari dampak jangka panjang pelecehan verbal.
