Abstract

This community-based service program aims to empower the community through education integrated with local needs. In Desa Sidoharjo, the program engages residents in every stage of organizing and implementing educational activities. The community-based approach is applied to address educational challenges in the village. Using Participatory Action Research (PAR), students and community members collaborate in research and action to improve the quality of education. The program includes training for local teachers, the development of a curriculum based on local needs, and the establishment of community-based learning groups. The results show an increase in community participation in educational activities and a deeper understanding of the importance of education. This service program highlights the effectiveness of community-based education in fostering long-term, sustainable development in rural areas.

Abstract

The implementation of religious practices in schools, such as performing Dhuha prayer and reading the Qur'an, is often carried out with the aim of instilling good morals and character in students. Similarly, at MA Az-Zain, the habituation of Dhuha prayer and Qur'an recitation is employed as a strategy to further improve the students' moral character. This study utilizes a qualitative research method to describe the issues and focus of the research. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings of this study conclude that: (1) The implementation of the Dhuha prayer habituation program at MA Az-Zain is carried out daily at the start of the school day, consistently. The Dhuha prayer is performed both communally in the mosque and individually, (2) The habituation program for Qur'an recitation at MA Az-Zain is conducted daily after the Dhuha prayer, in the classroom, just before the first lesson begins, (3) The habituation programs of Dhuha prayer and Qur'an recitation at MA Az-Zain can shape the character of students, as evidenced by the positive behaviors observed following the regular practice of these activities

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Think-Talk-Write (TTW) method on students' short story writing skills through a literature review approach. Short story writing is a crucial aspect of Indonesian language learning as it involves creative thinking, logical narrative structure, and expressive language use. However, in practice, students often face difficulties during the prewriting stage, such as generating ideas, developing characters, and constructing conflicts and settings. The TTW method offers a structured approach involving individual thinking, group discussion, and directed writing, thereby promoting a more systematic development of writing skills. Based on the synthesis of various scholarly sources, the TTW method has been proven effective in improving students’ writing quality in terms of structure, content, and language use. Intrinsic elements of short stories such as theme, plot, character, setting, and point of view show significant improvement when taught using the TTW method. This study concludes that the TTW method can serve as a relevant and practical strategy for teachers to enhance students’ short story writing skills.

Abstract

This community service program addressed the challenge of limited economic opportunities for women in Ngujung Village by focusing on empowering PKK members through UMKM-based culinary activities. The primary objective was to enhance participants’ skills and knowledge in managing small businesses and fostering family financial independence. The approach combined case studies, identification of best practices, and hands-on training to equip participants with practical abilities in business opportunity recognition, basic financial management, and marketing strategies for UMKM products. The results demonstrated increased awareness among PKK members about the importance of financial autonomy, higher motivation to start or expand small businesses, and strengthened collaboration between the community service team, village authorities, and participants. Overall, the program positively impacted participants’ entrepreneurial skills, creativity, and engagement in local economic development, providing a foundation for sustainable empowerment initiatives.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the storytelling method using paper puppets to improve the language skills of Group B children at RA An-Nuroh. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with 23 children aged 5–6 years as subjects in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results showed that the use of paper puppet media was effective in enhancing children’s language skills, particularly in enriching vocabulary, constructing sentences, and building speaking confidence. The implementation of the storytelling method with paper puppets consisted of three stages: introduction, main activity, and closing. The main obstacle encountered was a noisy classroom environment. The solution applied was to create a more conducive classroom setting and include an ice-breaking activity before the lesson began. These findings indicate that paper puppets can serve as a creative and enjoyable alternative medium to support the language development of early childhood learners

Abstract

Kecemasan merupakan kondisi emosi atau pengalaman subyektif individu terhadap objek yang tidak jelas dan spesifik akibat antisipasi bahaya yang memungkinkan individu melakukan tindakan untuk menghadapi ancaman seperti virus corona.Virus corona ini umunya menyerang banyak kalangan salah satunya adalah ibu hamil. Gejala umum yang menandakan orang terinfeksi virus corona yaitu demam, batuk kering, sesak napas. Kondisi tersebut dapat menjadikan permasalahan secara psikologis bagi ibu hamil, yang dapat menimbulkan kecemasan. Tujuan Penelitian: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengambarakan kecemasan ibu hamil TM III dalam menghadapi proses persalinan di masa pandemi COVID-19 di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mpunda Kota Bima Tahun 2022. Metode Penelitian: Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 responden dengan tekhnik sampling total sampling. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer yaitu pernyataan ibu hamil dengan menggunakan kuesioner dan data sekunder menggunakan rekam medis ibu hamil. Variabel penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel tunggal yaitu kecemasan ibu hamil TM III dalam menghadapi persalinan dimasa pandemi COVID-19. Hasil Penelitian: Gambaran kecemasan ibu hamil TM III dalam menghadapi proses persalinan di masa pandemi COVID-19 di Wilayah kerja Puskesmas Mpunda Kota Bima Tahun 2022 dalam kategori kecemasan ringan sebanyak 13 responden (26%), kecemasan sedang sebanyak 37 responden (74%), dan kecemasan berat (0%). Kesimpulan : sebagian besar ibu hamil TM III mengalami kecemasansedang sebesar 37 responden (74%).

Abstract

Emergence of Restorative Justice as a criticism of the implementation process in the criminal justice system, which has been viewed as ineffectual in resolving problems in people's lives. Restorative Justice is a procedural approach to settling criminal cases that entails the active involvement of individuals responsible for the offense, victims, relatives of both perpetrators and victims, as well as other pertinent stakeholders. The primary objective of this approach is to achieve a fair resolution by prioritizing the restoration of the affected parties to their original state, rather than focusing solely on retaliation. This research will analyze and explain how Restorative Justice is implemented against persecutors of the crime of persecution at the Semarang District Attorney, as well as what the obstacles in its implementation. This study employs a normative juridical research type with in concreto research specifications, secondary data gathered from library materials, and a qualitative data analysis methods. The results of the study show (1) Because the prosecution complied with the conditions of article 5 of Prosecutor's Regulation No. 15 of 2020 regarding Termination of Prosecution, Restorative Justice may no longer be applied to those who committed the crime of persecution at the Semarang District Attorney's Office. According to restorative justice, a first-time offender is subject to punishment under Article 351 for crimes and criminal acts of persecution (1) of the Criminal Code, as well as for the implementation mechanism through several stages beginning with stage two, peace efforts, peace process regulated in Article 7 to Article 12 until the prosecution is terminated with the issuance of a Decission Letter on Termination of Prosecution.(2) here are no obstacles in the application of Restorative Justice due to the interrelation of legal structure, legal substance and legal culture.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the color-mixing experiment method in developing the cognitive abilities of Group B children at RA As-Sholeh Baron. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the implementation of the experimental method, using natural materials like dragon fruit and pineapple, was carried out through the stages of preparation, demonstration, direct practice, and discussion. This approach proved effective in developing children's cognitive abilities, particularly in recognizing primary and secondary colors, understanding cause-and-effect relationships, and communicating their findings. Key supporting factors included teacher competence and the availability of facilities, while time management and the need for meticulous preparation were identified as inhibiting factors. This study concludes that the color-mixing experiment method is an effective, contextual, and enjoyable alternative for developing early childhood cognitive abilities, in line with constructivist and cognitive development theories.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi service excellence dalam perspektif Etika Bisnis Islam di RSIA Muhammadiyah Kota Probolinggo. Latar belakang penelitian menekankan pentingnya integrasi pelayanan prima dengan nilai-nilai syariah, tidak hanya pada aspek teknis medis, tetapi juga dalam dimensi etis dan spiritual. Penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi, yang dianalisis dengan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan service excellence didasarkan pada lima nilai utama Etika Bisnis Islam: tauhid, adil, amanah, ihsan, dan maslahah. Nilai-nilai tersebut tercermin dalam kesadaran pelayanan sebagai ibadah, kesetaraan layanan, kejujuran dan tanggung jawab petugas, empati dalam melayani, serta orientasi memberikan manfaat bagi masyarakat. Kesimpulannya, service excellence di RSIA Muhammadiyah mencerminkan profesionalisme yang selaras dengan nilai Islam, sehingga mampu menyeimbangkan kepuasan pasien, tanggung jawab sosial, dan keberkahan spiritual. Kata Kunci: Service Excellence, Etika Bisnis Islam, Nilai Syariah, RSIA Muhammadiyah, Pelayanan Kesehatan.
