Abstract

Introduction Mild mentally retarded children experience sexual development like normal individuals. In principle, the material for sexual education taught is the same as for normal children with the presentation of material that is adjusted to the condition of the child's intelligence level and age. This module to facilitate children with mild mental retardation in learning knowledge of sexual education needs to be stimulated using 4 stages in the Busy Box Sex Education module. Method This study aims to test the validity of the Busy Box Sex Education module to increase sexual knowledge of children with mild mental retardation. The type of research used is module validation research. This study used 4 validators who were determined based on a purposive technique to test the suitability of the module content with the objectives to be achieved. Data analysis used descriptive analysis using Aiken's V (validation sheet). Results The aiken's V score showed a range of 0.56 - 0.88 and the results of the validation of the aiken's V score of 0.50 - 0.88. Based on the validity test, the contents of the Busy Box Sex Education module were considered valid by the validator criteria with several suggestions for improvement. Conclusion And Recommendation Based on the results of the module content validity test, it can be concluded that the Busy Box Sex Education module is at a good validity level. Keywords: Module Validity, Sexual Education, Busy Box Sex Education. ABSTRAK Pendahuluan Anak tunagrahita ringan mengalami perkembangan seksual seperti individu normal. Materi pendidikan seksual yang diajarkan pada prinsipnya sama seperti anak normal dengan penyajian materi yang disesuaikan dengan kondisi tingkat kecerdasan dan usia anak. Untuk memfasilitasi anak tunagrahita ringan dalam mempelajari pengetahuan pendidikan seksual perlu distimulasi menggunakan 4 tahapan dalam modul busy box sex education. Metode Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji validitas modul busy box sex education untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan seksual anak tunagrahita ringan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu riset validasi modul. Penelitian ini menggunakan 4 orang validator yang ditentukan berdasarkan teknik purposive untuk menguji kesesuaian isi modul dengan tujuan yang hendak dicapai. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif dengan menggunakan Aiken’s V (lembar validasi). Hasil Angka skor aiken’s V menunjukkan rentang 0.56 – 0.88 dan hasil validasi alat ukur skor aiken’s V 0.50 – 0.88. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas isi modul busy box sex education yang dinilai validator termasuk dalam kriteria valid dengan beberapa saran perbaikan. Kesimpulan dan Saran Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas isi modul dapat disimpulkan bahwa modul busy box sex education berada pada tingkat validitas yang baik. Abstract

Introduction The child’s client of the parole BAPAS case of the rape has the hope of living a better life, interacting with and being reinstated by society, but the community considers them to be problem makers, and resists and alerts them, thus causing them to withdraw and be plagued by deep guilt. Staying with conditions that bear many of problems and consequences requires, the meaning of life is needed or at least to understanding the reasons for living, in order to motivate life. The purpose research to know details and factors that the meaning of life on the child’s client conditional release of BAPAS case of rape in the city of Jambi. Method This research used qualitative methods with a phenomenological approached. The data collection method used an in-depth interview techniques. The data analysis used Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). The criteria for the client participants were children on parole at BAPAS Jambi, who had been students of LPKA in cases of rape and men aged 15-21 years. Result Description of the meaning of life was these study participants were the purpose of life, guilt, the change for the better, the increase in religiosity, happiness, accountability, and selfpreservation. As for the factors that affect meaning of life were social support, positive environment, good relationships, and the responses of others. Conclusions The four participants had described meaning of life behind his suffering, which was capable of being the motivation to live and achieve happiness within himself. Keywords: Child’s Clients parole BAPAS, Meaning of Life, Rape Abstrak Pendahuluan Klien anak pembebasan bersyarat BAPAS kasus pemerkosaan memiliki harapan menjalani kehidupan yang lebih baik, dapat berinteraksi dan diterima kembali oleh masyarakat, namun masyarakat menganggap mereka sebagai pembuat masalah, serta melakukan penolakan dan mewaspadainya, sehingga membuat mereka menarik diri dan dihantui perasaan bersalah yang mendalam. Bertahan pada kondisi yang banyak menanggung permasalahan serta konsekuensi atas masalah tersebut, dibutuhkan kebermaknaan hidup atau setidaknya memahami alasan hidupnya, agar bisa memotivasi hidup. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui gambaran dan faktor yang mempengaruhi kebermaknaan hidup pada klien anak pembebasan bersyarat BAPAS kasus pemerkosaan di Kota Jambi. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik wawancara mendalam. Analisis data Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Kriteria partisipan klien anak pembebasan bersyarat BAPAS Jambi, pernah menjadi anak didik LPKA kasus pemerkosaan dan laki-laki berusia 15-21 tahun. Hasil Gambaran kebermaknaan hidup partisipan penelitian yaitu memiliki tujuan hidup, perasaan bersalah, berubah lebih baik, meningkatnya religiusitas, bahagia, bertanggung jawab, dan menjaga diri. Adapun faktor yang mempengaruhi makna hidup adalah dukungan sosial, lingkungan positif, relasi yang baik, dan tanggapan orang lain. Kesimpulan Keempat partisipan telah menggambarkan kebermaknaan hidup dibalik penderitaannya, yang mampu menjadi motivasi untuk menjalani hidup dan mencapai kebahagiaan dalam dirinya. Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: Adolescents aged 15-18 years are vulnerable to all forms of risky behavior, including alcoholic drinks,drug addiction, bullying, pornographic behavior, internet complaints and premarital sexual behavior. Given theirrelatively young age, it is easy for them to be influenced by the environment around them. Especially, if there arepeers engaging in premarital sexual behavior. Therefore, the role of parents is very important, in which positivecare for adolescents has an impact on premarital sexual behavior.This study aims to see the effect of parental careon premarital sex behavior among high school students in Jambi City.Method: This study used a quantitative approach and the sample selection used a random sampling technique.The number of research respondents was 255 people in high schools Jambi City, starting from 19th August to 29thSeptember 2020. This study used 2 psychological measurement scales, namely parental care and adolescentpremarital sex behavior. The parenting measure scale was adapted from the Alabama Parenting Questionare witha reliability of 0.828 and the item discrimination test was that 22 items were dropped. The scale of measuringpremarital sex behavior has a reliability value of 0.835 and the results of the item discrimination test are 2 itemsthat fail.Results: Statistical analysis used simple linear regression. The value obtained is sig. 2 tailed < 0.05, meaning thatthere is an effect of parental care on premarital sex behavior of public high school students in Jambi City.Conclusion: Parent and adolescent interaction is considered the most important thing to minimize adolescentsfrom avoiding the dangers of risky behavior, namely premarital sex, one of which is open communication betweenparents and adolescents.Keyword: Parenting, Premarital Sex Behavior, Adolescents, High SchoolABSTRAKBACKGROUND Remaja yang berusia 15 – 18 tahun rentan terhadap segala bentuk perilaku beresiko, diantaranyaminuman beralkohol, kecanduan obat-obatan terlarang, tawuran, perundungan, perilaku pornografi, kencaduaninternet dan perilaku seksual pranikah. Mengingat usia mereka yang relatif muda, mudah baginya terpengaruholeh lingkungan di sekitar. Terutama, jika ada teman sebayanya melakukan perilaku seksual pranikah. Olehkarenanya, peran orang tua sangatlah penting, yang mana pengasuhan positif pada remaja berdampak padaperilaku seks pranikah.AIM AND OBJECTIVES Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh pengasuhan orangtua terhadap perilakuseks pranikah pada siswa SMA Negeri di Kota Jambi.METHOD Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan pemilihan sampelnya menggunakan teknikrandom sampling. Jumlah responden penelitian sebanyak 255 orang meliputi 5 SMA Negeri di Kota Jambi, dimulaidari tanggal 19 Agustus – 29 September 2020. Penelitian ini menggunakan 2 skala ukur psikologi, yaitupengasuhan orangtua dan perilaku seks pranikah remaja. Skala ukur pengasuhan diadaptasi dari AlabamaParenting Questionare dengan reliabilitas senilai 0,828 dan uji deskriminasi aitem terdapat 22 aitem yang gugur.Skala ukur perilaku seks pranikah memiliki nilai reliabilitas 0,835 dan hasil uji deskriminasi aitem terdapat 2 aitemyang gugur

Abstract

ABSTRACT The increasing number of early marriages occurring in society has an impact on the low quality of the population, especially the welfare of young women. Community Service Objective: To provide knowledge about the effects of early marriage on children and adolescents. The method of this research was activities using psychoeducation methods for children and adolescents. This service is carried out for three months.Results of Community Service: Psychoeducation has been carried out for children who are expected to understand the impact of early marriage if it occurs at the age of children and adolescents through understanding the ten dimensions of marriage readiness—participants' pretest-posttest results. Most participants experienced an increase in knowledge before and after being given psychoeducation. Community service has also succeeded in providing counselling skills to participants, but some participants still need a lot of practice to improve their counselling skills. Conclusion This community service has taken place well through psychoeducational activities. Participants have understood the ten dimensions of marriage readiness and are expected to practice counselling skills that have been applied in community service.Keywords: Psychoeducation, Early Marriage, Children ABSTRAKMeningkatnya angka pernikahan dini yang terjadi dimasyarakat yang berdampak pada rendahnya kualitas kependudukan khususnya kesejahteraan perempuan muda. Tujuan Pengabdian Masyarakat yakni untuk memberikan pengetahuan mengenai dampak pernikahan dini pada anak-anak dan remaja. Kegiatan menggunakan metode psikoedukasi dan pelatihan konseling untuk anak dan remaja. Telah dilaksanakan psikoedukasi untuk anak-anak yang diharapkan mampu memahami dampak pernikahan dini jika terjadi pada usia anak-anak dan remaja melalui pemahaman 10 dimensi kesiapan pernikahan. Hasil pretest-postest peserta Sebagian besar peserta mengalami peningkatan pengetahuan sebelun dan sesudah diberikanya psikoedukasi. Pengabdian masyarakat juga berhasil memberikan keterampilan konseling pada peserta, namun Sebagian peserta masih perlu banyak latihan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan konseling tersebut. Kesimpulan pengabdian masyarakat ini telah berlangsung dengan baik melalui kegiatan psikoedukasi. Peserta telah memahami 10 dimensi kesiapan pernikahan dan diharapkan melatih keterampilan konseling yang telah diterapkan dalam pengabdian masyarakat tersebut.Kata kunci: Psikoedukasi, Pernikahan Dini, Anak

Abstract

Di era digitalisasi, gawai memegang peran penting dalam membantu manusia di berbagai aspek kehidupannya. Hampir setiap kalangan tidak lepas dalam penggunaan gawai termasuk anak-anak. Penggunaan gawai di satu sisi memberi dampak positif tetapi juga menjadi tantangan produktivitas pada anak. Seringkali anak menggunakan gawai untuk fungsi tertentu saja seperti hiburan dan kurang membatasi waktu. Sehingga masalah adiksi gawai seringkali ditemui pada anak-anak. Bila dibiarkan maka akan berdampak pada motorik dan kepekaan anak dalam berinteraksi di situasi sosial ke depan. Oleh karena itu perlu penanganan berupa pemahaman pada anak dan pengalihan aktivitas lain yang lebih positif. Salah satunya dengan memberikan psikoedukasi melalui permainan. Tujuan kegiatan adalah memberikan psikoedukasi melalui permainan untuk mencegah adiksi gawai pada anak pra sekolah. Kegiatan psikoedukasi dilakukan pada 50 siswa di TK An Nahl Percikan Iman Jambi. Metode kegiatan dilakukan dengan ceramah interaktif dan permainan tradisional. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dengan metode checklist didapatkan evaluasi berdasarkan pengetahuan dan reaksi siswa terhadap permainan tradisional. Berdasarkan pengetahuan diketahui siswa memiliki pemahaman tentang gawai berdasarkan aspek waktu ideal menggunakan gawai dan dampak penggunaan gawai. Berdasarkan evaluasi reaksi terhadap permainan tradisional, siswa merasakan reaksi emosi senang, semangat dan interaktif. Sehingga kegiatan psikoedukasi melalui media permainan tradisional ini dapat menjadi alternatif upaya dalam mencegah adiksi gawai pada anak.

Abstract

Indonesia was still facing the problem of malnutrition, namely Stunting as a disorder of child growth and development characterized by short stature for their age which impacts the quality of human resources. The causes of stunting are multifactorial and mostly originate from family factors, so efforts to reduce stunting must focus on family empowerment, one of which is the Healthy Living Community Movement (GERMAS). This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to improve clean and healthy living behavior (PHBS) in the community, namely mothers of toddlers in Kota Karang Village, Kumpeh Ulu District, Muaro Jambi Regency as part of the implementation of good practices of the Quality Family Village (KB Village). PkM activities were carried out 6 (six) times by providing GERMAS education on PHBS including physical activity, healthy nutritious food, smoking behavior and alcohol consumption, health checks, environmental cleanliness, personal hygiene, and use of family toilets. The analysis results obtained an increase in the average PHBS behavior score of mothers of toddlers before and after the intervention. The highest average value difference is the behavior of healthy nutritious food (5.76) followed by family toilets (4.17), personal hygiene (2.52), environmental cleanliness (1.35), smoking and alcohol consumption behavior (0.94), regular health checks = 0.77 and physical activity = 0.76. These results indicate the influence of GERMAS education intervention on the PHBS behavior of mothers of toddlers

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui orientasi masa depan siswa sekolah terpencil di SMPN 53 Merangin Jambi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Partisipan yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa SMPN 53 Merangin, kepala sekolah dan guru sebagai significant other. Analisis data menggunakan interpretative phenomenological analysis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan orientasi masa depan siswa sekolah terpencil yaitu tujuan dan cita-cita siswa, baik dalam bentuk lanjut studi maupun bekerja. Motivasi berupa alasan, minat, dan ketertarikan mereka terhadap cita-cita dan tujuan, serta yang terakhir modeling yang mana mereka menggambarkan cita-cita dan tujuan terhadap figur yang sering mereka lihat di sekolah maupun di lingkungan masyarakat terpencil.

Abstract

Cases of sexual violence against children are increasingly prevalent in Indonesia and involve underage individuals as perpetrators. Criminal profiling can be carried out to find out the background and factors that influence these actions. This research uses qualitative research methods, through a narrative approach, and uses data analysis according to Miles and Huberman's theory. Data validity using the degrees of trust (credibility) test method. The respondents in this study were three adolescent perpetrators of sexual violence against children and were assessed using observation, interviews, document studies, and 6 types of psychological tests. The results of this study show that the three respondents have a psychological profile, namely having a less harmonious relationship with the family, experiencing academic problems, already knowing the victim from before the incident, the scene of the incident being in a quiet location, having a motive to fulfill sexual urges, and making persuasion and threats to the victim. Parents and other adults in the adolescent environment should prioritize the psychological well-being of adolescents to prevent the emergence of sexual violence in adolescents, given that there are both internal and external factors that encourage violent behavior in adolescents.Keywords: criminal profiling, correctional child, sexual violence

Abstract

Background: Patient safety incidents continue to occur in primary health care services despite being 24% to 85% preventable. Promoting and assessing patient safety culture is the primary step to minimize and prevent adverse incidents. Aims: This research examined the level of patient safety culture implementation in Primary Health Centers. Methods: A quantitative descriptive research design was conducted involving 319 employees randomly selected from 11 Primary Health Centers in Jambi province. Data were collected using the Hospital Survey on Patient Safety Culture (HSOPSC) questionnaire and analyzed descriptively, with an average cut-off point of 75%. Results: The implementation level of patient safety culture in the Primary Health Centers in Jambi Province was 71.5%. Furthermore, seven dimensions of patient safety culture were weakly implemented: staffing, communication openness, organizational learning for continuous improvement, supervisor/manager expectations and actions promoting patients, non-punitive response to error, general perception of patient safety, and frequency of error reporting. Conclusion: Continuous examination should be conducted to ensure better changes in improving patient safety culture. Keywords: Jambi Province, Patient safety culture, Primary health center

Abstract

The period of Junior High School (SMP) is a time of transitional growth. At this age, students experience rapid development in psychological, physical, and cognitive aspects. One of the characteristic at this stage is a heightened curiosity about many things, a love for adventure and challenges, and a vulnerability to risky behaviors due to still immature thinking. At this age, they strive to find answers to their questions by seeking information from various sources. Currently, information can be easily accessed through a wide range of available resources. However, the prevalence of information from unreliable sources can create problems if readers, especially adolescents, are unable to discern the truth of the information they receive. Therefore, strong literacy skills are needed to evaluate and verify the information they read. However, many students still lack these literacy skills, highlighting the urgency of educating them about mental health information literacy. To address this issue, students need to be provided with understanding through psychoeducational programs about the importance of mental health information literacy from trustworthy sources. The evaluation of the program will be conducted by administering pretests and posttests to measure participant’s understanding. From the evaluation, most of the participants had higher posttest’s scores, indicating an increase in their knowledge about mental health literacy skill. They also participating actively in the psychoeducation session, indicating an interest in program’s topic. So it can be concluded that psychoeducation program about mental health literacy is effective for increasing student’s mental health literacy in cognitive and affective aspect.
