Abstract

Background & Objective: The purpose of this study was to apply the Benson Relaxation Technique to patients at risk of violent behavior in the Karangrejo Health Center UPTD Work Area in 2024. Method: The research method is a case study with a mental nursing approach by applying pre post test actions of benson relaxation therapy. The study used two mental patients with risk problems for violent behavior carried out in the work area of the UPTD Puskesmas Karangrejo in December 2024. Result: Assessment of the first patient is the name Mr. RS, male gender, 31 years old. The second patient Mr.A is 30 years old and male. Nursing diagnoses that arise risk of violent behavior. Planning used benson relaxation therapy on diagnoses of risk of violent behavior for 3 days of treatment. Conclusion: Nursing implementation carried out on clients is by applying the action of benson relaxation therapy, the resolved diagnosis is the risk of violent behavior.

Abstract

Tujuan: Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan kemampuan bersosialisasi pada siswa kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Gading Rejo. Metode: Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan desain penelitian survey analitik dan pendekatan cross sectional. Objek penelitiannya adalah dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan kemampuan bersosialisasi. Jumlah populasi dalam penelitian adalah sebanyak 395 responden. Metode yang digunakan untuk pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan metode proportional stratified random sampling yaitu sebanyak 78 responden. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji stastitik uji gamma. Hasil: Hasil penelitian ini bahwa terdapat Dukungan sosial rendah 38,5%  dukungan sosial sedang 44,9%, dukungan sosial tinggi 16,7% dan kemampuan bersosialisasi rendah 32,1%, kemampuan bersosialisasi sedang 39,7, dan kemampuan bersosialisasi tinggi 28,2%. uji stastitik gamma menunujukan adanya hubungan dukungan sosial teman sebaya dengan kemampuan bersosialisasi pada siswa kelas x di SMA Negeri 1 Gading Rejo dengan nilai p-value = 0,006. Simpulan: Saran bagi pihak sekolah adalah mengadakan pelatihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan bersosialisasi siswa serta memberikan edukasi tentang pentingnya dukungan sosial agar siswa dapat berinteraksi secara positif di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Self-love atau mencintai diri sendiri adalah bentuk penerimaan terhadap diri secara utuh, termasuk kelebihan dan kekurangan yang dimiliki. Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran siswa SMK Telkom Lampung tentang pentingnya self-love sebagai upaya menjaga kesehatan mental. Kegiatan dilaksanakan melalui metode psikoedukatif dengan pendekatan interaktif, meliputi penyuluhan, diskusi, role-play, serta evaluasi pre-test dan post-test menggunakan instrumen valid. Sebanyak 30 siswa aktif organisasi sekolah menjadi peserta dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan pada dua aspek utama: skor kesehatan mental meningkat dari kategori “cukup” dan “rawan” menjadi “sehat” dan “sangat sehat”, serta pemahaman terhadap konsep self-love yang awalnya rendah menjadi mayoritas berada pada kategori “baik” dan “sangat baik”. Kegiatan ini membuktikan efektivitas edukasi self-love dalam meningkatkan literasi kesehatan mental remaja. Diharapkan, program ini berkelanjutan melalui dukungan sekolah dan pembentukan tim kesehatan mental siswa

Abstract

Kecemasan merupakan salah satu bentuk gangguan psikologis yang umum dialami oleh remaja, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan seperti menghadapi ujian nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas teknik Butterfly Hug dalam mengurangi kecemasan akademik pada siswa kelas 9 di SMP Negeri 2 Gading Rejo. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pretest-posttest menggunakan instrumen Academic Anxiety Scale (AAS). Intervensi dilakukan melalui edukasi kesehatan mental, demonstrasi teknik Butterfly Hug, dan afirmasi positif. Hasil pretest menunjukkan bahwa 40% siswa mengalami kecemasan tinggi, 28% kecemasan sedang, 20% ringan, dan 12% tidak cemas. Setelah dilakukan intervensi, hasil posttest menunjukkan penurunan signifikan: kecemasan tinggi turun menjadi 16%, sedang 32%, ringan 36%, dan tidak cemas meningkat menjadi 16%. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa teknik Butterfly Hug efektif dalam menurunkan tingkat kecemasan siswa. Kesimpulannya, penerapan teknik Butterfly Hug merupakan metode relaksasi yang praktis, mudah dilakukan, dan dapat menjadi alternatif intervensi kesehatan mental di sekolah. Disarankan agar teknik ini diintegrasikan dalam program bimbingan konseling serta dilatihkan secara rutin kepada siswa dan guru.

Abstract

Purpose: This study investigates the correlation between family social support and chronic Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) symptoms among flood victims in Parerejo Village. Pre-survey data showed varied PTSD symptom levels, with most respondents experiencing moderate to severe trauma. Research methodology: The research design employed in this study was a correlation analysis using a cross-sectional method. The sample size for this study was 72 flood victims from Parerejo Village, RT. 11 (Neighborhood Association number: 11). The bivariate analysis in this study utilized Spearman’s rho test. Conclusions: Family social support plays a critical role in alleviating chronic PTSD symptoms among disaster victims. Strengthening familial ties and promoting emotional support in the household may be an effective strategy for post-disaster mental health recovery. Limitations: This study is limited by its cross-sectional design, which restricts causal inference. The use of a localized sample from a single neighborhood also limits the generalizability of the findings to broader populations. Contribution: This research contributes to the field of disaster psychology by providing empirical evidence on the protective influence of family-based social support in mitigating long-term PTSD symptoms. The findings can inform mental health interventions and disaster recovery programs, emphasizing the need to involve families in psychosocial rehabilitation efforts.

Abstract

Purpose: Adolescence is a critical developmental phase marked by physical and psychosocial changes that may affect body image, self-esteem, and self-confidence. This study investigates the relationship between body image and self-esteem with adolescent self-confidence at SMA Negeri 1 Gading Rejo. Research methodology: A quantitative cross-sectional design was employed involving 77 Grade XI students selected through simple random sampling. Data were collected using standardized scales for body image (12 items), self-esteem (10 items), and self-confidence (16 items). The Gamma test was used for statistical analysis. Results: Findings indicate a significant positive correlation between body image and self-confidence (p = 0.006), and between self-esteem and self-confidence (p = 0.000). Most respondents reported moderate levels of body image (79.2%), self-esteem (74.0%), and self-confidence (83.1%), suggesting that positive self-perception contributes to higher confidence. Conclusions: Positive body image and high self-esteem are associated with increased self-confidence among adolescents. Limitations: The study was limited to a single school with a relatively small sample size and a cross-sectional design, which restricts causal inference. Contribution: The research provides empirical evidence on factors influencing adolescent confidence, offering insights for educators and counselors to develop mental health and self-acceptance programs in school settings.

Abstract

Treatment for people with mental disorders (ODGJ) includes not only pharmacological treatment, but also environmental-based treatment. The closest environment is family. One of the obstacles in healing for people with mental disorders (ODGJ) is the low participation of families in caring for people with mental disorders (ODGJ) at home and the lack of family and community knowledge about mental illness. This creates a negative stigma aimed at people with mental disorders (ODGJ) which results in neglect, exclusion, harassment, violent behavior, shackles, discrimination, and other violations of ODGJ's human rights. The family as caregiver must be able to care for and assist people with mental disorders (ODGJ) in living their daily lives. However, the role played by the family is still not optimal so it is necessary to provide psychoeducational intervention. Psychoeducation is important to strengthen caring for caregivers when caring for people with mental disorders (ODGJ). The research objective was to determine the increase in caring behavior of people with mental disorders (ODGJ) families after being given psychoeducational intervention. This research was a quasi-experimental one group pre post test study with a sampling technique using simple random sampling, the sample in this research was 40 families with people with mental disorders (ODGJ). The results showed that p = 0.03 with a (0.05) meaning that there was an increase in the caring behavior of the people with mental disorders(ODGJ) family after being given psychoeducational intervention. Psychoeducation is an intervention that can be given not only to groups but also individually so that information on how to care and motivation for independence of family members with mental disorders can be well received by the family and can be applied in the care of people with mental disorders at home. Abstrak: Pengobatan pada ODGJ tidak hanya meliputi farmakologis saja, tetapi juga pengobatan berbasis lingkungan. Lingkungan terdekat adalah keluarga,. Salah satu kendala dalam penyembuhan pada ODGJ adalah rendahnya partisipasi keluarga dalam hal perawatan ODGJ dirumah serta kurangnya pengetahuan keluarga dan masyarakat tentang penyakit jiwa. Hal ini memunculkan stigma negatif yang ditujukan pada ODGJ yang berakibat pada penelantaran, pengucilan, pelecehan, perilaku kekerasan, pemasungan, diskriminasi, dan pelanggaran hak azasi ODGJ lainnya. Keluarga sebagai caregiver harus mampu merawat dan mendampingi ODGJ menjalani kehidupan sehari-hari. Namun peran yang dijalani keluarga masih belum optimal sehingga perlu diberikan intervensi psikoedukasi. Psikoedukasi menjadi penting untuk memperkuat caring pada caregiver ketika merawat ODGJ. Tujuan penelitian ini  untuk mengetahui peningkatan perilaku caring keluarga ODGJ setelah diberikan intervensi psiokoedukasi.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasy eksperiment  one grup pre post test dengan tehnik pengambilan sampel menggunakan simple random sampling, sampel pada penelitian ini sebanyak 40 keluarga dengan ODGJ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai p=0,03 dengan a(0,05) artinya adanya peningkatan perilaku caring keluarga ODGJ setelah diberikan intervensi psikoedukasi. Psikoedukasi merupakan intervensi yang dapat diberikan tidak hanya pada kelompok saja tetapi juga secara individu supaya informasi  cara perawatan dan motivasi kemandiriananggota keluarga yang mengalami gangguan jiwa dapat  diterima dengan baik oleh keluarga dan dapat diterapkan dalam perawatan orang dengan gangguan jiwa dirumah.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors can influence psychological well-being (PWB) in students participating in the MBKM program. The sample was selected using a quantitative cross-sectional study method with the criteria of active students and MBKM participants. A total of 83 students were involved in filling out the questionnaire in this study. The data collection technique in this study used six scales, including socio-economic status, religiosity, social support, healthy lifestyle, academic stress, university support, and PWB. The analysis techniques used in the study were descriptive statistical analysis and factor analysis with the help of SPSS software. The factor analysis results showed that three main factors influenced PWB in students, including religiosity, student social support, and healthy lifestyle. These findings indicate that in addition to academic factors, psychological and social factors also play an important role in supporting the psychological well-being of MBKM students. The implications of these findings can be used as a basis for developing more effective educational and support strategies for students to improve their psychological well-being.Keywords: psychological well-being, students, MBKM

Abstract

Adolescence is one of the period to be experienced individual in the his life , where in period This will experience Lots change in himself . As a result changes experienced , can formed inappropriate behavior Good like violence . violence No only happen to yourself Alone but also to other people. One of form violence that often appears in adolescents is behavior bullying .bullying is behavior aggressive that can in the form of physical , psychological , or verbal. Behavior bullying give impact bad to victims of bullying , including having an impact on low self awareness , anxiety , fear even depression , insomnia, difficulty concentrate and not believe themselves .Types of research is study quantitative with analytical survey use approach cross sectional with design survey analytics and approaches cross-sectional , sample taken use method Proportional Stratified Random Sampling from population of 230 respondents , resulting in 146 respondents . Analysis bivariate using statistical tests Gamma . Analysis results show that from 146 respondents low bullying was found at 65.1%, moderate bullying at 33.6%, high bullying at 1.4%, while variable level trust self low 64.4%, level trust self is 34.2%, and the level trust self high 1.4%. From the gamma test results obtained p- value = 0.000 < 0.05 means there is connection bullying with level trust themselves in adolescents . For the parties school and parents provide system support to teenager For increase trust self and for teenagers to avoid conflict with Friend same age and brave say not on behavior bullying.

Abstract

Background: Anxiety is one of the primary indicators of the quality of health services in hospitals. It often occurs in hospitalized patients. Data from WHO in 2016 shows that about 3.6% of the entire population in the world is experiencing mental anxiety disorders. Psychosocial nursing care, which is psychological and social care, can reduce the anxiety level of inpatients. Objective: The study aimed to determine the correlation between psychosocial nursing care with patient anxiety in the adult inpatient room at the Regional Public Hospital of Dr.H Abdul Moeloek in Lampung Province. Method: The research design employed in this study was descriptive correlation utilizing a cross-sectional method. The population in this study was 112 patients in the adult inpatient rooms at the Regional Public Hospital of Dr.H Abdul Moeloek in Lampung Province, with samples of 100 people Result: The bivariate analysis in this research is conducted using the Chi-Square test. The research findings obtained p-value= 0.000, showing a significant relationship between psychosocial nursing care and patient anxiety in adult inpatient rooms. Conclusion: Psychosocial nursing care encompasses the domains of empathy, support, and information fulfillment. The importance of nurses in providing complete and accurate information about the patient's health condition in the inpatient room in an effort to reduce patient anxiety.
