Abstract

Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) memberikan kesempatan bagi mahasiswa untuk mengaplikasikan ilmu administrasi bisnis secara langsung di dunia kerja. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Departemen Loss Prevention Sheraton Bandung Hotel & Towers, sebuah hotel berbintang lima yang beroperasi di bawah jaringan Marriott International. Selama 26 minggu, mahasiswa terlibat dalam pengelolaan dokumen keamanan, absensi, pengendalian kunci, hingga pelaporan harian aktivitas keamanan hotel. Selain itu, mahasiswa juga mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan kesiapsiagaan bencana seperti briefing ERT, Fire Drill, Earthquake Readiness, serta Earthquake Simulation. Melalui pengalaman ini, mahasiswa tidak hanya mengembangkan keterampilan administrasi dan komunikasi, tetapi juga memahami pentingnya prosedur keselamatan, koordinasi kedaruratan, serta peran administrasi sebagai dasar pengambilan keputusan dalam manajemen keamanan hotel. Artikel ini memberikan gambaran menyeluruh mengenai pengalaman pembelajaran mahasiswa, analisis permasalahan yang ditemui, serta rekomendasi perbaikan sistem kerja berdasarkan teori administrasi bisnis.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia melalui penerapan aplikasi presensi digital berbasis Jotform. Sistem ini dikembangkan untuk menggantikan proses presensi manual dan presensi Face ID. Dalam kegiatan ini, sebanyak 30 pekerja harian dilibatkan, dengan metode Black Box Testing digunakan untuk pengujian sistem serta wawancara berbasis Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) guna menilai penerimaan pengguna terhadap teknologi. Penerapan teknologi informasi dalam konteks ini membuktikan bahwa digitalisasi mampu mendorong transformasi positif dalam manajemen sumber daya manusia, baik dari segi operasional maupun hasil jangka panjang bagi organisasi dan perusahaan. Kata kunci: sistem informasi; aplikasi; presensi digital Abstract This service aims to improve the efficiency of human resource management through the implementation of a Jotform-based digital attendance application. This system was developed to replace the manual attendance process and Face ID attendance. In this activity, 30 daily workers were involved, with the black box testing method used for system testing and interviews based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) to assess user acceptance of technology. The application of information technology in this context proves that digitalization can drive positive transformation in human resource management, both in terms of operations and long-term results for organizations and companies. Keywords: information system; application; digital presence

Abstract

The rapid development of financial technology (fintech) in Indonesia has led to the significant growth of Buy Now Pay Later (BNPL) services, with SPayLater emerging as one of the leading providers actively utilizing digital promotion strategies. This study aims to examine the effect of e-promotion on users’ intention to use the SPayLater service in Bandung City. A quantitative research design with descriptive and causal approaches was employed. Data were collected through an online questionnaire administered to 130 active SPayLater users selected using purposive sampling. The research instrument was tested and confirmed to be valid and reliable, with a Cronbach’s Alpha value of 0.825. Descriptive statistical analysis indicates that both e-promotion and intention to use are perceived at good to high levels. The results of simple linear regression analysis reveal that e-promotion has a positive and significant effect on intention to use (β = 0.109; p < 0.001), with a coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.210. These findings suggest that e-promotion contributes to enhancing users’ intention to use SPayLater, although a substantial proportion of the variance is explained by other factors beyond the research model. Furthermore, two-way communication in digital promotion is identified as the most effective promotional dimension. This study recommends that service providers strengthen interactive and informative e-promotion strategies, while regulators enhance digital financial literacy initiatives to support the sustainable use of BNPL services.
