Abstract

Research aims: The objective of this research is to analyze the effect of Gross Domestic Product, exchange rate, and distance on the meat import performance of ASEAN countries both partially and simultaneously.Design/Methodology/Approach: Purposive sampling method was adopted to determine the research sample. The data used were the annual secondary data of ASEAN countries in the period of 2012-2018, collected from trademap.org, World Bank, and macmap.org. Multiple Linear Regression was employed to analyze the data.Research findings: The regression analysis results showed that GDP and exchange rate did not affect meat import performance. Meanwhile, distance had a partially significant negative effect on meat import. However, GDP, exchange rate, and distance had a significant effect on meat imports simultaneously.Theoretical contribution: Previous researchers have used economic distance in their study to see its impact on imports. Nevertheless, there has not been much research done using geographical distance as an antecedent variable. The distant market has to incur large-fixed costs, which can only be supported if the export value is large. The negative impact of distance on imported meat must be taken seriously. AANZFTA supposedly gives a contribution to the member countries thoroughly to export goods and services. It is to increase per capita income so that it can be used to improve the transportation system.Implication policy: ASEAN officials are suggested to encourage the member countries to provide better transportation facilities to eliminate geographical distance barriers and further support SMEs and other business actors' engagement. Due to the limitation of this research, it is suggested that further research should consider using other commodities to measure the import performance.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to examine the effect of clearance and port equipment on long container dwelling time both partially and simultaneously. The study utilized quantitative research method. Secondary data which used were monthly period data from January 2016 – March 2019. The data sources were from PT. Pelabuhan Indonesia III (Persero) Semarang Container Terminal and Tanjung Emas Custom and Excises. Regarding the use of period, the total data which used is thirty-nine months. The study explored with multiple linear regression statistical analysis. The t-Test result informed that clearance has significant effect on long container dwelling time. Meanwhile, the port equipment has no significant effect on long container dwelling time. Both clearance and port equipment has significant effect simultaneously. Clearance gives a dominant influence on container waiting time From the result, suggestions that can be taken are conducting the Focus Group Discussion of Indonesia National Single Window, add more equipment, avoid the breakdown equipment together with maintenance schedule, provide operator training, and benchmark to other port companies.

Abstract

Community service aims to help provide solutions to problems in the fields of production, promotion and marketing faced by MSMEs of Pupuk Bokashi,Getasan District, Semarang Regency.Community Service is carried out in order to improve product quality, expand marketing areas, and increase the income of partner MSMEs.The problem faced by MSME partners is the lack of ability of MSME actors to master science and technology, think creatively and innovate in designing products, product packaging, designing promotional tools and marketing their products, so that marketing area coverage is still limited and sales turnover is still low. The solution will be provided, namely Providing training and assistance in implementing attractive product and packaging designs, creating digital promotional tool designs and creating on-line Marketing Media designs to expand marketing areas and increase sales turnover, creating new ideas from online media and assistance in making accounts on Social Media and selling accounts on the Marketplace. The method used is to provide training and assistance in making product and packaging designs, promotional tool designs and online marketing media designs.Application of technology in creating product designs, product packaging, promotional tools and online marketing media will affect product quality, expansion of marketing areas, increase in sales turnover and increase in MSME profits. Changes in marketing behavior from conventional to online marketing must be balanced with the ability of MSME players to design products to make them more attractive, design effective digital promotional tools so that products are easily recognized and use online marketing technology to expand marketing areas. It is hoped that online marketing media will be an effective choice for MSME players so they can reach a wider marketing area, increase sales turnover, so that it will have an impact on increasing the profit level of Pupuk Bokashi MSMEs, Getasan District.

Abstract

Background: Postnatal care information is relatively less provided than information about prenatal or pregnancy. Several causes of this is the mothers already delivered the baby safely, and soon after the baby's birth, mothers will be busy taking care of the newborns. They frequently miss their postnatal meeting with doctors because of these reasons. Aims: Therefore, this article aims to develop a chatbot in which the knowledge is taken from Buku KIA and focus group discussion. Method: The targeted users of the KIA chatbot are postpartum mothers with live newborns. Rapid Application Development method is used to develop the KIA chatbot. The KIA chatbot is constructed using Google Dialog Flow with Telegram-based messenger. Results: The chatbot evaluation follows the Chatbot Usability Questionnaire with an overall score is 84.23 out of 100. Sixty-nine respondents confess that the KIA chatbot is easy to use and the knowledge is easy to comprehend. But, since the chatbot provides the answer options, the users feel some limitations. One of the limitations is they are unable to type their questions to the chatbot; only type the numerical order of the answer options. Conclusion: However, this limitation also brings another advantage to the mothers who have no time to type because of busy taking care of the newborns.

Abstract

Keberadaan UMKM di Indonesia sangat diperhitungkan, karena berkontribusi besar pertumbuhan dalam ekonomi. Kelurahan banyu Urip merupakan salah satu daerah di kecamatan sawahan yang memiliki UMKM antara lain laundry, took sembako, kos2an, sewa skuter, bengkel, penjual jamu, penjual batik, penjual peyek, jual beli hewan, dan bank sambah. Seluruh UMKM ini dikelola secara swasembada oleh masyarakat. Permasalahan pada UMKM RT 06 Kelurahan Banyu Urip Surabaya adalah sistem pencatatan logistic usaha UMKM yang masih dilakukan secara manual. Penggunaan media kertas dalam pencatatan menimbulkan ketidaksamaan data pada barang masuk dan keluar. Hal ini terjadi karena sering terjadi kelupaan pencatatan maupun kehilangan data invoice barang masuk dan keluar. Selain itu, penggunaan media kertas kurang efektif dikarenakan memerlukan waktu untuk mencatat dan mencari data yang dibutuhkan. Permasalahan tersebut menyebabkan penurunan pelayanan pada UMKM. Dimana, meningkatkan pelayanan, diperlukan manajemen logistik yang baik, efisien, tepat dan fleksibel. Sistem Informasi Logistic yang telah dibangun memiliki 2 fitur yaitu login dan data stok barang. Pendampingan selama satu bulan telah dilakukan untuk memastikan pemilik UMKM dapat mengoperasikan sistem tersebut. Selain itu, sosialiasi juga dilakukan untuk memberikan pengetahuan kepada pemilik UMKM terkait manfaat sistem informasi logistik dalam pencatatan produk. Berdasarkan hasil pretest dan posttest terdapat kenaikan 60% tekait pemahaman pemilik UMKM terhadap manfaat sistem informasi logistik.

Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi menyebabkan aplikasi marketplace yang menyediakan pembayaran digital untuk mempermudah para customer dalam melakukan sebuah transaksi. Salah satunya adalah Shopee, Shopee mengeluarkan layanan dompet digital yang disebut Shopeepay yang digemari oleh masyarakat untuk melakukan transaksi dalam aplikasi marketplace Shopee. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan e-wallet shopeepay dan promosi cashback terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa di Kota Semarang sebagai pengguna Shopeepay. Untuk sampel yang diambil adalah 60 responden, dengan menggunakan parameter yang diestimasai (diukur). Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan metode pengumpulan data penyebaran kuesioner kepada responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa e-wallet shopeepay secara bersama-sama berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa. Sedangkan promosi cashback secara bersama-sama tidak berpengaruh terhadap perilaku konsumtif mahasiswa.

Abstract

Implementasi aplikasi berbasis web SIMByO (Sistem Informasi Manajemen Baby Spa Outlet) dalam mendukung efisiensi manajemen operasional baby spa. Sistem ini dirancang untuk mengotomatiskan proses pendaftaran pelanggan, pencatatan riwayat kesehatan bayi, dan pengelolaan transaksi keuangan. SIMByO diimplementasikan pada lingkungan localhost untuk uji coba awal, dengan fokus pada bagaimana sistem ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional outlet. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa SIMByO mampu mempercepat pendaftaran pelanggan dan mengurangi kesalahan pencatatan transaksi dibandingkan metode manual. Desain antarmuka berbasis web yang responsif dan user-friendly memudahkan pengguna dalam mengakses fitur-fitur utama. Namun, pengujian performa dan keamanan sistem dalam skala lebih besar masih diperlukan untuk memastikan skalabilitas dan stabilitas sistem di server eksternal. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan pengujian lebih lanjut di server eksternal serta pengembangan aplikasi mobile untuk mendukung fleksibilitas akses.

Abstract

Changes in consumer behavior due to the Covid-19 pandemic have shifted to online-based purchases. Consumers who initially made transactions directly, due to the Covid-19 pandemic, changed to make transactions online. MSMEs must quickly adapt to consumer behavior changes to survive the economic downturn. Digital marketing training is a solution to help MSMEs to adapt to changes in consumer behavior and vulnerable communities to find business and entrepreneurship opportunities through digital media. The competitiveness of the barbershop market competition demands to continue to innovate and adapt quickly. The era of destruction is a challenge for businesses that have not yet migrated to use Digital Marketing as the spearhead of expanding market reach, a new habit of modern humans who prefer a practical and easily accessible way with gadgets. MSMEs must read the opportunities and quickly keep up with the pace of the market which is controlled by digital technology. The digital market requires skills, high creativity, and consistency in creating creative content so that market interest can be taken over. Digital marketing training is already a major need for MSMEs, especially small businesses haircut "Madura" so that their existence can develop in the digital market.

Abstract

Digital Branding in educational institutions is very crucial to do because it will improve reputation and form an institutional brand image. Regarding the use of digital technology in the Al-Muin Islamic Boarding School environment, currently, it can be said to be very low. This stated shows from the lack of social media owned by the Al-Muin Islamic boarding school. Meanwhile, with social media, the boarding school will be able to communicate and build public relations with the society. Having a relationship with the society will improve the good image of the Islamic boarding school and also as a medium of communication for the boarding school with the soociety. The implementation team of community service activities will assist in the use of social media as a means of digital branding at the Al Muin Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School. The teams activity are carried out in four stages, namely: initiation, preparation of facilities and infrastructure, execution and evaluation. The comparison of the pre-test and post-test results shows an increase in the level of understanding of the caregivers of the Al Muin Syarif Hidayatullah Islamic Boarding School in using social media Instagram as a means of digital branding.

Abstract

Wabah pandemi Covid-19 yang menyebar dengan sangat cepat ke seluruh penjuru dunia sejak awal tahun 2020 telah mengakibatkan gangguan besar dalam hampir seluruh aspek kehidupan manusia, termasuk dalam bidang pendidikan. Hal ini mengakibatkan seluruh perguruan tinggi di Indonesia diarahkan untuk menyelenggarakan kegiatan pembelajaran secara daring atau jarak jauh sebagai upaya nyata dalam menekan laju penyebaran virus, sekaligus menjamin bahwa pendidikan tetap dapat diakses oleh seluruh mahasiswa tanpa harus menghadiri kelas secara fisik. Untuk menunjang kegiatan tersebut, salah satu inovasi yang muncul dari perguruan tinggi dalam negeri adalah platform e-Sorogan milik Universitas Nahdlatul Ulama Surabaya (Unusa). Platform ini dikembangkan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran daring yang tetap berkualitas dan berorientasi pada pengembangan kompetensi mahasiswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana pemanfaatan aplikasi e-sorogan sebagai penunjang pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah pemahaman peserta dalam pemanfaatan e-sorogan Unusa sebagai penunjang keterampilan berbahasa, memperlihatkan bahwa sebanyak 90% responden memahami akan fungsi dan pemanfaatan platform e-sorogan. Selebihnya mengungkapkan cukup paham sebanyak 10%. Kesesuaian fitur yang ada di e-sorogan dengan aspek keterampilan berbahasa, memperlihatkan keempat yakni menyimak, berbicara, membaca, dan menulis telah sesuai dengan fitur-fitur yang ada di e-sorogan. Kesesuaian tersebut mencapai 100%. Fitur-fitur yang sering digunakan dalam penunjang pembelajaran keterampilan berbahasa, yakni fitur forum (diskusi) yang mendapatkan prosentase 100%, sedangan Video Conference (Vicon) mencapai 80%, penugasan sebanyak 50%, sedangkan lain-lain sebanyak 10%, itu meliputi materi maupun Virtual Reality.
