Each ethnic group has a unique and culturally based way of instilling educational values. The inculcation of this value can be through literary works, both in the form of stories and poetry. Poetry in Manggarai ethnic literature, known as go'et. Goet is a way of inheriting the value of education in the Manggarai ethnic group in Flores. Through goet, this ethnic group educates future generations to become useful and critical human beings. This paper raises one of the go'et idep works written by cultural observer Yoseph Ngadut. This research is classified as a qualitative descriptive study with the literature technique as a way of obtaining data. Poststructural is used as an approach in analyzing data. From the results of data analysis, it was obtained four categories of go'et idep texts as a paradigm of planting educational values. These four categories are findings in research. (1) The metaphor of hard objects as a form of planting educational values is closely related to behaviorism learning theory. (2) Soft equipment metaphorized with animals as cognitive learning in cultivating educational values. (3) The third category is the class of constructivism in instilling educational values. The emphasis lies on change towards progress. (4) The category of criticism, Goet Idep sees the urgency of criticism in instilling educational values, so that critical humanism will emerge.

This article discusses poetry musical assistance for junior high school students in East Penfui village. During the Covid-19 pandemic, these junior high school students carried out learning activities from home. When they enter a normal situation, they return to school. The problem that arises is that students do not immediately adapt to the school environment. The important thing in this community service program is first, the achievement of solutions to partner problems, namely students can adapt quickly in the face-to-face (offline) learning process. Second, the continuation of the community service program supports partner programs in art training for female students around Penfui Timur Village. Mencerdaskan generasi penerus bangsa bukan hanya urusan pemerintah, akan tetapi urusan semua pihak termasuk gereja. Demikian juga dengan pengembangan seni untuk pertumbuhan karakter. Gereja memiliki akses yang cukup untuk memanfaatkan seni sebagai media dalam menumbuhkan karakter positif bagi anak-anak. Salah satu bidang seni yang dapat menumbuhkan karakter positif adalah drama musikal. Pelatihan drama musikal bagi guru-guru sekolah minggu di gereja Marturia Oetete Kabupaten Kupang adalah salah satu cara dalam menjawab kebutuhan dan persoalan mitra berkaitan dengan aktivitas sekolah minggu yang dilakukan secara klasikal. Pelatihan drama musical ini dilakukan dalam beberapa tahap yaitu, (1) membuat kerangka cerpen, (2) memperbaiki naskah cerpen, (3) mengonversi naskah cerpen menjadi naskah drama, (4) menggarap lagu dan mengaransemen musik, (5) melakuka latihan dan perekaman, dan (6) pementasan. Setiap bagian ini dilakukan evaluasi dan perbaikan sehingga memeroleh bentuk final untuk dijadikan model pelatihan drama musical. Dengan demikian model ini dapat dijadikan pendekatan dalam mengajar sekolah minggu bagi anak-anak sekolah minggu.

Communication of traditional elite power relations and language power over silent groups in the "Lonto Leok" deliberation culture greatly influences the results of deliberations which essentially ignore the opinions of the lower community, so that the democracy that occurs seems to represent all community opinions. Therefore, it is necessary to know the power relations of traditional elites with the community (silent groups) in order to gain an understanding of this democratic context. This research was conducted among the Manggarai ethnic group in Manggarai Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province using qualitative methods. Data collection was conducted by in-depth interviews with local elites and people who practice the "lonto leok" culture. To get the appropriate views, focused discussions were conducted to match the results of the interviews. The results of this study concluded that the lonto leok culture is a form of deliberation in the context of the Manggarai indigenous community, where the customary elite (traditional elite) has a very strong role in decision-making which is implicitly supported by the power of language to silence the lower layers of society (non-elite) to prevent dissent.

Kegiatan PPM ini dilaksanakan di SD Inpres Oetete 3 Kota Kupang. Subjek yang menjadi sasaran utama kegiatan ini adalah guru kelas I dan siswa kelas I SD Inpres Oetete 3. Guru kelas I menjadi subjek tindakan karena guru kelas I menghadapi kesulitan dalam mengajar membaca bagi siswa kelas I. Siswa kelas I juga menjadi subjek tindakan karena mereka mengalami kesulitan belajar membaca akibat pandemi covid-19. Masalah tersebut terjadi karena guru belum menemukan metode pembelajaran membaca yang tepat. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut perlu diterapkan metode pembelajaran membaca yang efektif dan efisien untuk mempercepat kemampuan membaca siswa karena durasi pembelajaran yang sangat singkat akibat pandemi covid-19. Metode yang diterapkan untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut adalah metode membaca suku kata. Metode ini telah terbukti dapat meningkatkan dan mempercepat kemampuan membaca siswa kelas I SD Inpres Oetete 3. Penerapan metode ini juga mampu membuat suasana belajar membaca yang aktif, kreatif, dan menyenangkan karena didukung penggunaan media huruf dan suku kata. Selain itu, guru kelas I SD Inpres Oetete 3 mampu menerapkan metode membaca suku kata dengan baik sehingga dapat meningkatkan dan mempercepat kemampuan membaca siswa kelas I.

Artikel ini membahas tentang estetika air dalam ritual adat barong wae pada etnik Manggarai di Flores. Ritual barong wae merupakan sebuah ritual penghormatan terhadap wujud tertinggi yang memberi kehidupan. Untuk menjadi sebuah kampung adat, syarat utama yang harus dipenuhi adalah memiliki sumber mata air. Di mata air pertama inilah ritual barong wae dilakukan. Nilai religius dan estetik tergambar dalam ritual ini sebagai upaya menjaga kelestarian alam dan krisis air. Dalam konteks kekinian ritual ini merupakan kritik terhadap eksploitasi alam terutama untuk alasan pembangunan yang menguntungkan pihak-pihak tertentu. Metode yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah fenomenologi. Tujuannya adalah untuk menafsirkan dan menjelaskan tindakan manusia secara alamiah. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui wawancara dan studi literatur. Teori yang digunakan dalam kajian ini adalah teori linguistik kebudayaan dan teori estetika. Dua teori ini bekerja secara eklektik untuk membahas persoalan berkaitan dengan estetika air dalam ritual Barong Wae.

Lyrics in the flow of rap songs have a major role as a producer of meaning and aesthetics of a rap song. The concept of rap song lyrics has similarities with poetry and prose so that it can be said to be a literary text type. This study aims to examine the meaning comprehensively and described the forms of hegemony of power expressed in the lyrics of the rap song entitled "Panopticanubis" by Homicide. This study used a qualitative method with a content analysis approach. The data that is the focus of this research are words and phrases and clauses. Gadamer's hermeneutical theory is used as the main analytical knife to dissect the text and Gramsci's perspective on hegemony theory is used as a supporting theory. The results of the study prove that there are language variants or stylistics to produced meaning, including figurative language, scientific terms, and loan words. This song is interpreted as a concern about the formation of ideology and the hegemony of power that appears in the lyric text. The ideological formations contained in the text include imperialism, authoritarianism, feudalism, capitalism, neoliberalism, socialism. The forms of hegemony of power stated in the text include the power of the political community covering economic, political, social, technological and information aspects as well as defense. Tujuan Program Kemitraan Masyarakat (PKM) ini adalah melatih guru-guru di kota Kupang menerapkan disiplin literatif agar dapat menciptakan lingkungan sekolah yang literatif. Asumsi penting bahwa rendahnya tingkat literasi siswa dan sekolah yang belum menjadi lingkungan yang literatif bagi siswa. Salah satu satu cara agar menjadikan sekolah sebagai lingkungan yang literatif adalah penerapan disiplin positif yang literatif atau disiplin literatif bagi siswa yang melanggar peraturan. Disiplin literatif merupakan cara yang dilakukan untuk memberikan sanksi/hukuman positif yang literatif bagi siswa. Disiplin literatif ini, sejauh ini belum pernah dilakukan di sekolah-sekolah kita di Kota Kupang baik di wilayah semiurban, urban, maupun rural. Oleh karena itu, guru-guru yang berpartisipasi dalam pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model penerapan disiplin literatif di sekolah masing-masing. Sasaran yang diharapkan melalui PKM adalah: (1) terlaksananya pelatihan pembuatan/perumusan disiplin literatif. (2) terlaksananya diskusi intens untuk memvalidasi model disiplin literatif. Kegiatan PKM ini diikuti oleh 21 guru SD di kota Kupang. Kegiatan PKM ini berjalan dengan baik selama 2 hari dan menghasilkan 15 bentuk disiplin literatif bagi siswa yang melanggar aturan di sekolah baik untuk kelas rendah maupun kelas tinggi. Manggaraian ethnic has a special art named Caci. The art holds and became an identity of the whole of Manggaraian. The art was begun as the ritual of farmer’s land fertility. In its developing, the aesthetic has gone under the multifunction in it show time. The art is not only performing for the shake of the local people culture, but also perform for the political interest as well as the catholic church in Mangggarai. This research used ethnographic method, data collected through the observation, interview, documentation, and triangulation. The research was done in Manggaraian ethnic of Flores. Every Caci performance has its own unique ideology. The ideology goes behind the cultural Caci performance is the ideology of fertility. The ideology goes behind the government interest of Caci performance is capitalism economy and political power. The church ideology is inclusivism through the inculturation languages.
