Abstract

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of the use of National Traffic Management Center (NTMC) technology at the National Police Traffic Corps contact center in handling traffic accidents. The government, through Korlantas Polri, established the National Traffic Management Center (NTMC) to realize safe, secure, orderly, and integrated traffic and road transportation services. The service provided is in the form of the NTMC Contact Center application which was developed in 2017 to complement the call center and SMS center services that have been available since 2014. The ease of use of technology and the provision of quality services will have an impact on community satisfaction. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of acceptance of the use of technology, the influence of service quality on the NTMC Contact Center application for the National Police Traffic Corps, and the simultaneous influence of acceptance of the use of technology and quality of service on the NTMC Contact Center application for the National Police Traffic Corps on the level of public satisfaction in handling traffic violations and accidents. Theoretical concepts in the Technology Acceptance Model, User Acceptance, and Community Satisfaction are used to analyze the acceptance of technology use and service quality on community satisfaction in the NTMC Contact Center application for the National Police Traffic Corps. The research method used in this research is quantitative explanatory research with a population of 10,000 people who downloaded the NTMC Contact Center Polri application on Google Playstore. From the total population, a sample of 100 people can be obtained using the Slovin formula. The sampling technique used was the snowball sampling technique. The results of the research show that there is a positive and significant influence of acceptance of the use of technology, influence of service quality, and a simultaneous influence of acceptance of the use of technology and service quality in the NTMC Contact Center application on the level of public satisfaction in handling traffic violations and accidents.

Abstract

Illegal tin mining in Tembelok Sea, West Bangka, has caused massive environmental impacts, such as coral reef damage, a 30% decrease in fish catches, and triggered unrest and social conflicts in coastal communities. This exploratory qualitative research aims to analyze collaboration strategies between the Indonesian National Police (Polri) and the community in preventing such illegal activities. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document studies, then analyzed using the Law Enforcement Theory, Collaborative Policing, and Crime Prevention approaches. The research results show that joint patrols are an effective integrated strategy, integrating primary prevention approaches (socialization, “Alert Fishermen” training, drone/GIS technology), secondary (focused patrols, community reports), and tertiary (firm law enforcement, environmental rehabilitation). This collaboration is driven by inter-agency synergy (Polri, Indonesian Navy, Bakamla), active community participation, and open communication. However, challenges such as overlapping authorities, limited resources, intimidation of reporters, and lack of integrated data platforms still hinder its effectiveness. To ensure sustainability, it is recommended to establish a permanent task force, develop anonymous digital reporting applications, and launch alternative economic empowerment programs, such as seaweed cultivation. In conclusion, the Polri-community collaboration has the potential to create an inclusive and sustainable monitoring system to maintain the preservation of marine ecosystems and the socio-economic stability of the Tembelok coastal community.

Abstract

The challenge for forestry education is both the transfer of technical knowledge and whether students are adequately prepared to practice in the field. We examined the relationships among the four variables: Seedling Understanding (SU), Curriculum Relevance (CR), Learning Motivation (LM) and Practical Readiness (PR) among forestry undergraduates. We employed a quantitative, explanatory design based on data from 54 students taking a Seedling Techniques course. PLS-SEM was used for measuring and structural models testing. Results show that curriculum relevance (β = 0.487) and seedling understanding (β = 0.349) significantly increase learning motivation, which strongly predicts practical readiness (β = 0.627; R² = 0.798). These findings highlight the importance of motivation-driven curriculum design to enhance practice-ready forestry graduates. These results imply that technical understanding and curriculum design are necessary but only lead to readiness because of their motivational impact on students use or integration of those skills; using lessons learned to motivate student engagement and further application of practical knowledge. This integration of cognitive, pedagogical, and motivational dimensions into a single empirical model is a unique aspect of the study and extends the motivational theory currently present in the literature to include forestry education. In practical terms, the results provide some suggestions on the development of curricula and teaching strategies that incorporate relevance, autonomy and practice to develop competence and preparedness.

Abstract

This study aims to examines online transport business practices in Indonesia and assesses whether workers get decent labor protection. The study tries to provide the answer to the unresolved debate about what form of regulation to close the protection for platform work. The method used a descriptive-qualitative research design with the study case paradigm notably in online transportation sectors. Research data was obtained through in-depth semi-structured interviews with drivers from different apps in Jakarta, the Indonesia Capital City. The study found that the improvement of employment protection for workers can only be done by first clarifying the legal status of workers, and determining the form of employment protection that is suitable for them, which is made through a special regulation. The study proposes a way out by providing options based on selected countries experiences of different continents on how the platform should protected without hurting platform business.
