Abstract

Studi purpose. This study aims to determine the differences in speed and reaction between female teenage athletes and non-athletes 15 year-old. Materials and methods. This study used a quantitative approach with a comparative design. The research sample consisted of 20 adolescent girls who were divided into two groups, namely the athlete group and the non-athlete group. The athlete group consisted of 10 girls who were athletes of PB. Ngudi Berkah and have done skipping rope training regularly three times a week with a duration of 15-20 minutes, for four weeks before data collection whereas, the non-athlete group amounted to 10 adult Taman Junior High School students who did not take part in sports training and did not do skipping rope exercises. The data collection instruments include a 20-meter sprint test to measure speed and a Whole-Body Reaction test to measure reaction time. Results. Statistical analysis showed that the athlete's group significantly outperformed the non-athletes' group in terms of speed (p = .000) and reaction time (p = .001). These findings suggest that jump rope training effectively improves key performance components in young badminton athletes Conclusions.  Skipping rope exercises are effective in improving speed and reaction, with speed being the more dominant aspect that distinguishes athletes from non-athletes. This exercise can be incorporated into the physical training program for badminton athletes. The results of this study underscore the importance of incorporating jump rope training into structured training program to support early physical development in youth sports.

Abstract

Penggunaan doping menjadi cara instan untuk meningkatkan performa dan meraih prestasi, namun membahayakan kondisi tubuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan regulasi anti-doping, upaya-upaya yang dilakukan pihak terkait dalam penegakan hukum penggunaan doping pada PON XXI Aceh-Sumut 2024, peran penegakan hukum tersebut, serta tantangan dan implikasi dalam pencegahan dan pengawasan doping. Metode penelitian merupakan penelitian kualitatif melalui pengumpulan data secara studi kepustakaan dan kemudian dideskriptifkan. Hasil penelitian mengidentifikasi bahwa regulasi larangan penggunaan doping mengacu kepada aturan anti-doping oleh Indonesia Anti-Doping Organization (IADO), dokumen Code oleh World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA), dan UU terkait, Terkait pencegahan dan pengawasan doping dalam olahraga PON XXI Aceh-Sumut tahun 2024, berbagai upaya dan kebijakan sudah dilakukan oleh Komite Olahraga Nasional (KONI), Indonesia Anti-Doping Organization (IADO dan pihak berkepentingan lainnya. Hasilnya, tidak ada satupun atlet yang tebukti melanggar aturan anti-doping melalui pengujian sampel. Namun secara nasional, terdapat tantangan dalam upaya pelaksanaannya yang perlu diperhatikan dan diupayakan solusinya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengintegrasikan tarian tradisional Bonet ke dalam pembelajaran PJOK sebagai langkah strategis dalam melestarikan warisan budaya lokal di Kabupaten Timor Tengah Utara. Peneliti menggunakan metode campuran, yaitu pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi langsung, wawancara, serta dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian meliputi guru PJOK di lima sekolah menengah pertama serta seorang tokoh budayawan lokal. Peneliti kemudian menyusun RPP dan LKPD yang menggabungkan tarian Bonet ke dalam materi senam ritmik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengintegrasian tarian Bonet dalam pembelajaran mampu meningkatkan pemahaman siswa terhadap budaya lokal, mendorong partisipasi siswa hingga 30%, serta memberikan kontribusi peningkatan kebugaran fisik sebesar 25%. Guru dan siswa merespons positif pendekatan ini karena mampu memadukan nilai-nilai budaya dengan aspek kebugaran secara relevan dan kontekstual. Disimpulkan bahwa Tarian Bonet berperan strategis dalam pendidikan jasmani sebagai sarana pengembangan fisik sekaligus pelestarian budaya yang memperkuat karakter dan identitas peserta didik di era globalisasi.

Abstract

Kecepatan reaksi merupakan selang waktu antara penerimaan stimulus dengan munculnya suatu respons (refleks) dengan waktu secepat mungkin. Hal ini dibutuhkan atlet untuk menganalisis pergerakan shuttlecock dan mengantisipasi gerakan lawan. Setiap kelompok usia memiliki rata-rata kecepatan reaksi berbeda sesuai tahapan perkembangan motoriknya. Tujuan penelian untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis perbedaan dari kecepatan reaksi atlet bulutangkis Kabupaten Grobogan kelompok usia U9, U11, U13, dan U15. Penelitian ini penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Pengambilan data berupa tes dan instrumen Whole Body Reaction Test (WBRT) tipe IV dengan sampel 40 atlet. Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan signifikan rata-rata kecepatan reaksi atlet bulutangkis setiap kelompok usianya. Kelompok usia U9 memiliki kecepatan reaksi lebih rendah dibandingkan U11, U13, dan U15. Namun, perbedaan U11 dengan U13 serta U13 dengan U15 hasilnya tidak signifikan. Hal  ini dikarenakan seiring bertambahnya usia khususnya remaja awal hingga pertengahan kematangan neuromotoriknya mencapai fase stabil sehingga peningkatan kecepatan reaksi tidak secepat fase awal perkembangan

Abstract

This research is a class action research (classroom action research) which aims to determine the increase in the ability to smash volleyball with the target games method in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 8 Jeneponto. The design of this study uses the Kurt Lewin model in 2 cycles and in each cycle there are 2 meetings consisting of planning, implementation & observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 28 students of class XI IPS 2 at SMA Negeri 8 Jeneponto. The results showed that the ability to smash volleyball with the target games method of students in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 8 Jeneponto experienced an increase, namely from the results of the first cycle test the complete category was 11 students or 39% and the incomplete category was 17 students or 61%. Meanwhile, in cycle II, the results of the completeness of students were obtained, namely the complete category of 26 students or 93%, while the incomplete category in cycle II was 2 students or 7%, so it can be concluded that the results of cycle II increased by 93% from cycle I..

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the usage of AI in the learning system to analyze student progress in real-time. The method utilized is a narrative literature review, which is divided into two stages: collecting and analyzing data. Data was collected by examining 25 articles from various sources. Data analysis through topic-based categorization in AI-driven learning systems is employed to monitor and evaluate student progress in real time. The results of the narrative literature review reveal that AI has great potential in increasing the effectiveness and personalization of learning. However, it also poses challenges like the digital divide and ethical issues. In conclusion, implementing AI in education requires a holistic and sustainable approach to maximize its benefits and address its challenges.

Abstract

The number of open spaces and the population aged seven years and above are known to determine the ratio of open spaces to the Sports Development Index. This study used a survey method with a quantitative descriptive approach, using sports open spaces as research variables. The sampling technique was based on the Sports Development Index (SDI), namely the Multistage Random Sampling. The population of this study was residents of Tawangharjo Village, Tarub Village, and Godan Village. The availability of open sports spaces in the Tawangharjo sub-district, represented by 3 villages, namely Tawangharjo, Tarub, and Godan, is in a low category. The solution is to improve sports development in the open space aspect, namely by involving the government to improve the welfare of the people, such as by providing the most superior sports facilities in the region, including football, volleyball, martial arts, and jogging tracks. The role of the community can help develop sports development, such as cooperation in cleaning abandoned sports open spaces.

Abstract

The modern tennis games is characterized by an emphasis on quickness and strength. Rapid and multidirectional changes in the ball's speed necessitate a high level of agility. This study aimed to determine the impact of hexagon drill training on the agility of male junior tennis players. This research is a quantitative type with experimental methods. The research design uses a one group pre-test and post-test design. The population in this study were junior male tennis players in Jawa Tengah with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The characteristics of the sample determined by the researcher were male, athletes under 18 years of age, and practicing in the Jawa Tengah area. The number of samples used in the study was 40 people. Data analysis used the t-test by first carrying out the normality test and homogeneity test. The results of the data normality test in this study were 0.06 > 0.05 (0.06 greater than 0.05), which means that the data is normally distributed in the population frequency. The results of the homogeneity test in this study were 0.15 > 0.05 (0.15 greater than 0.05), which means the data is homogeneous. After the data is normally distributed and homogeneous, the researcher continues data processing, namely the t-test. The results of the t-test showed a significance value of 0.000 so it was less than 0.05 or 0.000 <0.05 so there was a significant effect. The conclusion is that the hexagon drill exercise has an effect on increasing agility in junior men's tennis players in Central Java. Suggestions from researchers are that coaches can apply hexagon drill exercises to train junior tennis players under the age of 18 years.

Abstract

Kehamilan trimester tiga merupakan periode kritis yang ditandai oleh perubahan fisiologis signifikan pada tubuh ibu, seperti penambahan berat badan, perubahan postur, serta penurunan kebugaran jasmani. Aktivitas fisik yang aman dan menyenangkan sangat diperlukan untuk menjaga kesehatan ibu dan janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasi efektivitas olahraga petanque dalam menjaga kebugaran jasmani ibu hamil trimester ketiga. Metode pengabdian masyarakat yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), melibatkan 15 ibu hamil usia kehamilan 28–32 minggu. Program dilaksanakan selama 4 minggu dengan latihan petanque dua kali seminggu. Pengukuran kebugaran menggunakan Six-Minute Walk Test (6MWT). Hasil menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kapasitas aerobik (jarak tempuh meningkat ±49 meter), penurunan tekanan darah (8/5 mmHg), denyut jantung (7 bpm), serta peningkatan saturasi oksigen (3%). Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa olahraga petanque sebagai olahraga intensitas ringan dan rekreatif efektif menjaga kebugaran jasmani ibu hamil trimester tiga. Oleh karena itu, olahraga ini direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif olahraga yang aman dan menyenangkan selama kehamilan trimester tiga.

Abstract

Kebugaran jasmani merupakan atribut fisik yang membantu seseorang dalam melakukan aktivitas fisik dan tugas sehari-hari. Kebugaran jasmani memberikan manfaat bagi tubuh, membuat beraktivitas tidak mudah merasa lelah. Olahraga pickleball sebagai olahraga baru di Indonesia memiliki potensi besar dalam meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani secara menyeluruh dan terstruktur. Tujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani masyarakat Kota Semarang melalui program latihan pickleball. Metode yang digunakan mencakup edukasi, pelatihan dasar pickleball, serta pengukuran kebugaran jasmani menggunakan Cooper Test (lari 2,4 km) sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Pelatihan dilaksanakan dalam 16 sesi selama 8 minggu. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam performa kebugaran, ditandai dengan penurunan waktu tempuh pada uji lari 2,4 km. Rata-rata waktu tempuh laki-laki menurun dari 15,66 menjadi 12,43 menit, dan perempuan dari 19,19 menjadi 15,97 menit. Uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan tersebut signifikan secara statistik (p < 0,05). Program ini terbukti efektif meningkatkan kapasitas aerobik dan daya tahan masyarakat, serta menunjukkan bahwa pickleball dapat menjadi solusi inovatif dalam membangun gaya hidup aktif yang menyenangkan. Dengan demikian, olahraga pickleball dapat direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif olaraga yang dapat meningkatkan kebugaran jasmani masyarakat secara luas.
