Abstract

Dalam rangka menigkatkan kualitas pembelajaran pada masa Pandemi, setiap guru dan calon guru harus dapat menguasai Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). Penguasaan TPACK didukung oleh perkembangan IPTEK yang membawa pada era digital. Kemampuan ini sangat diperlukan oleh calon guru sekolah dasar agar senantiasa melakukan adaptasi dan pembaharuan kemampuan guna menghadapi tantangan pendidikan di masa yang akan datang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tujuh komponen dalam TPACK seperti pengetahuan teknologi, pengetahuan konten, pengetahuan pedagogik, pengetahuan konten pedagogik, pengetahuan pedagogis teknologi, dan pengetahuan konten teknologi pada calon guru sekolah dasar. Teknik pengambilan data dilakukan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan melalui Google Form. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa calon guru sekolah dasar Universitas PGRI Yogyakarta sudah memiliki kemampuan TPACK yang baik. Hal tersebut dibuktikan dengan pemerolehan baik pada masing-masing kriteria. Oleh karena itu, pelaksanaan PPL 2 pada masa pandemi, membuktikan bahwa calon guru sekolah dasar sudah memiliki kemampuan TPACK dan beradaptasi dengan keadaan yang ada.

Abstract

The problem of this research is the effort to improve students' learning activities through thematic learning in Class I of Serangsari Public Elementary School. The research method is descriptive, the research form is Classroom Action Research (CAR), and it is collaborative. The research subjects are teachers and students of Class I of Serangsari Public Elementary School, totaling 24 people. This research uses direct observation techniques, documentation techniques, and observation sheets as data collection tools. The results of the research based on observations through thematic learning can improve student learning activities. This shows that the hypothesis stating that the implementation of thematic learning in Class 1 of Serangsari Public Elementary School can improve students' learning activities.

Abstract

In this modern and convenient digital era, cursive writing is still an interesting topic of discussion. Despite that, cursive writing has many benefits for students, especially in improving reading skills. This literature review aims to explore the relationship between cursive writing and the reading ability of elementary school students. The research method used in this study is literature review, with techniques for collecting, analyzing, and concluding relevant information. From this literature review, it is revealed that cursive writing can train visual-motor skills, spatial visualization, spelling, cognitive skills, and understanding of writing, thus improving students' reading ability. In addition, cursive writing can also activate the brain's synaptic network in students, allowing them to remember information read for a longer period. Students' patience can also be honed through cursive writing activities. Therefore, cursive writing can be an effective strategy to improve students' reading ability.

Abstract

Many children don't know the difference between conversations with their parents and their peers in this era. In Javanese society, we already see fewer and fewer children who don't experience difficulties in behaving around their parents, some don't even have it at all. Children are increasingly far from noble values ​​and local wisdom. The methodology for writing this article is a literature review of research results published in national publications. Procurement of habituation to the use of the Javanese language for communication in elementary schools can be one of the means to be able to preserve Javanese culture and language. Besides that, it can also increase the value of the character of love for the motherland and also children's patriotism. The provision of habituation to the use of the Javanese language in elementary schools can be associated with or can influence the love of the motherland and patriotism of elementary school students.

Abstract

This study uses a type of qualitative descriptive research related to the analysis of politeness towards the socially caring character of elementary school students. The first key informant is the class teacher by conducting an interview process. This study uses observation, interviews, and documentation to collect data. Politeness is a reflection of morals that can be achieved through the learning process at school. Behavior needs to be formed since students are at the Elementary School Education level, because when they are at this level it influences the further development of Education. With the cultivation of polite values to children, it is necessary that the child can socialize well in his social environment. The formation of a social caring character is very important to be instilled from an early age. Through the formation of a social caring character, children are expected to be able to instill life habits to care for and empathize with others, and to always be responsive to friends who are in trouble. This study aims to find out how important polite behavior is to produce socially caring characters in elementary school age children. The results show that politeness in elementary school students can still be developed because politeness will affect the social caring character of individuals.

Abstract

The character of caring for the environment is one of the characters that must be developed in students in elementary schools because schools are part of the environment. Cleanliness of the school environment will make the learning process more comfortable for students. By accustoming students to care about the environment around them, it is hoped that they will become individuals who care about the environment. This research is a literature study using the PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-analyses) protocol. Research data was obtained from Google Scholar with keywords relevant to the research topic, with a time span between 2019-2023 to get the latest and related articles. From the 20 articles that were selected, then extracted and analyzed in depth, the results showed that the teacher's role is very important in fostering the character of caring for the environment in students. Teachers can guide, inspire, provide information, manage, motivate, initiate, provide facilities, demonstrate, manage classes, mediate, supervise, and assess students in developing environmentally caring characters.

Abstract

Of course, schools are facilitated by buildings or places to gain knowledge, namely school buildings. Not only buildings but supported by various other aspects, such as goals, vision, mission, facilities, infrastructure, and human resources. Without these aspects it is the same as a goal that has been made by the School, it will not be achieved and it should not run perfectly. The purpose of this article is to find out the importance of facilities and infrastructure for the psychomotor aspects of students or the talents possessed by students. This research method uses observation, interviews, and documentation, using observation sheets. This data collection will be carried out at SDN Ngebel which is in Kasihan, Bantul for 2 days, namely Monday and Saturday, 15 and 20 May 2023. The subjects in this study were the Principal, Teachers, and Students of SDN Ngebel. SD Ngebel has 2 class classes, namely A and B, for student respondents they can take either class A or B classes from class V. The results of this study are that school facilities and infrastructure are very important for supporting the success and learning process at school, especially in increasing talent owned by each student. One of them is with the school being able to take part in various competitions and win at various levels.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan kemampuan belajar matematika menghitung luas dan keliling dengan model STAD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dengan dua siklus. Pada penelitian ini terdiri dari 2 siklus dengan dimulai perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan belajar matematika menghitung luas dan keliling peserta didik mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkan model STAD. Peningkatan terlihat dari hasil post-test serta pencapaian KKM peserta didik yang meningkat di atas 80%. Pembelajaran dengan model STAD mampu memotivasi peserta didik dan memberikan kesempatan berdiskusi dalam kelompok. Kerjasama antar anggota kelompok membantu peserta didik yang kesulitan. Model ini ternyata dapat untuk meningkatkan prestasi belajar dan keterampilan sosial peserta didik dalam matematika khususnya menghitung luas dan keliling. Kata Kunci: Model STAD, Kemampuan Belajar Abstract The aim of this research is to improve the ability to learn mathematics to calculate area and perimeter using the STAD model. This research uses a classroom action research method with two cycles. This research consists of 2 cyclus starting with planning, action, observation and reflection. The results of the research show that students' ability to learn mathematics to calculate area and perimeter has increased after implementing the STAD model. The improvement can be seen from the post-test results and the students' KKM achievement which increased above 80%. Learning with the STAD model is able to motivate students and provide opportunities for discussion in groups. Collaboration between group members helps students who are having difficulty. This model turns out to be able to improve students' learning achievement and social skills in mathematics, especially calculating area and perimeter. Keywords: STAD Model, Learning Ability

Abstract

Tujuan dari proyek ini adalah untuk menciptakan metodologi penelitian yang akan meningkatkan peserta didik kelas V untuk berpikir lebih kritis tentang topik IPS dengan menggunakan kualitas cahaya. Penelitian akan dilaksanakan di SDN 2 Padokan, Kasihan Bantul, selama tahun ajaran 2023–2024. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas adalah metode yang digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Fase perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi semuanya termasuk dalam model Kemmis dan McTaggart, yang akan berfungsi sebagai dasar untuk desain penelitian. Alat pengumpulan data meliputi panduan observasi dan penilaian kemampuan berpikir kritis. Analisis data kualitatif dan kuantitatif adalah metode yang digunakan peneliti untuk analisis data. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bagaimana menerapkan teknik penelitian inkuiri dapat membantu peserta didik menjadi pemikir kritis yang lebih mahir. Hal ini ditunjukkan dengan skor rata-rata tahap awal sebesar 57,57 untuk kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Rata-rata nilai berpikir kritis peserta didik meningkat sebesar 10,93% menjadi 68,5 ketika metode pembelajaran inkuiri diterapkan pada Siklus I. Selanjutnya, dengan mengasah teknik bertanya guru dan membina lingkungan yang menarik secara kognitif, tahap mengajukan pertanyaan mengenai konten ditingkatkan. Pada Siklus II, skor berpikir peserta didik meningkat sebesar 76,57, atau 8,07%, menempatkan mereka dalam kelompok yang baik.

Abstract

Numeracy abilities and understanding mathematical concepts are interrelated. Numeracy abilities can increase if students understand mathematical concepts. Oleh karenaTherefore, the aim of these findings is to examine the relationship between understanding mathematical concepts and the numeracy abilities of elementary school students. Numerical skills have an important role in helping students understand mathematical concepts and apply them in real life situations, while a good understanding of mathematical concepts can help improve students' numeracy skills. For this topic, literature was selected through a screening process based on journal criteria published within the last five years. Data collection in this research involves analyzing data obtained from journals relevant to the research topic. Thus, the results of this research show that numeracy skills and understanding mathematical concepts influence each other and are important to develop further together.
