Abstract

The quality of a nation’s education system is strongly influenced by the management of resources, particularly financial resources, which are one of the national education standards. This study employs a literature review approach by analyzing books, journal articles, and scholarly works related to educational financing. The results indicate that sufficient and properly managed funding has a positive impact on school quality, learning processes, and student outcomes. Sound financial management is based on the principles of accountability, transparency, integrity, consistency, efficiency, and effectiveness, carried out through budgeting, allocation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. Previous studies highlight that inadequate financing leads to substandard results, while effective financing enhances teacher professionalism, infrastructure provision, and institutional credibility. In addition, the implementation of total quality management (TQM) emphasizes continuous improvement, leadership focus, stakeholder collaboration, and intrinsic motivation as key strategies for quality enhancement. In conclusion, educational financing management plays a decisive role in improving the quality of education, and its effectiveness depends on professional administration, active stakeholder involvement, and compliance with national education standards.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that influence rice production in Tambakrigadung Village, Tikung District, Lamongan Regency. Rice production plays a crucial role in maintaining national food security. However, annual fluctuations in rice yields indicate the influence of various production factors. This research specifically examines the impact of seed quality, soil fertility, capital, technology, and labor on rice production. A quantitative approach was employed using purposive sampling, involving 50 rice farmers who own their land as respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires, interviews, observation, and documentation. The data were analyzed using a multiple linear regression model based on the Cobb-Douglas production function, with the assistance of SPSS software. The study aims to determine both the simultaneous and partial effects of each variable on rice production and to identify the nature of their relationships. The results are expected to serve as a basis for formulating strategies to enhance agricultural productivity at the village level. This research is intended to contribute to farmers, local governments, and stakeholders in developing productive and sustainable agricultural practices.

Abstract

This research analyzes twenty-five selected poems from Helena Natasha's poetry collection 'Love, Spelled in Poetry' to identify imagery types and explore their contribution to meaning and emotional impact. The study addresses the challenge many students face in comprehending imagery and deeper meanings in poetry, often due to lack of critical engagement during reading. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, examining twenty-five poems from the eighty-five-poem collection through close reading and systematic documentation. The findings reveal that Helena Natasha employs various types of imagery, including visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, gustatory, organic, and kinesthetic, with visual imagery being the most dominant. Visual imagery dominates, followed by organic and kinesthetic imagery. This research contributes to understanding contemporary poetry's use of imagery and highlights its educational value for English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners in developing language skills, critical thinking, and literary appreciation.

Abstract

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of flour substitution levels on the moisture content, expansion, and texture of steamed bread. The treatments consisted of five formulations: F0 (0%), F1 (10%), F2 (20%), F3 (30%), and F4 (40%) flour substitution. Data were analyzed using the Least Significant Difference (LSD) test at a 5% significance level to evaluate the effect of treatments on each physical parameter. The results showed that increasing the level of flour substitution had a significant effect on all tested parameters. The highest moisture content was observed in F4 (40%) at 39.22%, while the lowest was in F1 (10%) at 36.53%. Texture softness decreased as the substitution level increased, with the highest value in F0 (167.44 mm/100g/10s) and the lowest in F4 (88.52 mm/100g/10s). The expansion of steamed bread also tended to decrease, from 8.40% in F0 to 7.53% in F4. These results indicate that higher flour substitution levels reduce the dough’s ability to expand and form an elastic crumb structure due to decreased gluten content. Overall, the best formulation was obtained in treatments F1 (10%) to F2 (20%), as they produced steamed bread with balanced moisture, soft texture, and optimal expansion.   Keywords: steamed bread, flour substitution, moisture content, expansion, texture
