Abstract

This article will explain the interpretation of anthropomorphism verses by the Salaf generation, as recorded in Tafsir At-Tabari. This study is important because the verses of anthropomorphism are still being debated now. Sometimes, it creates divisions among Muslims, and each group states that they are the most following the "Salaf" generation or the generation that lived in the first three centuries hijriyyah. This study uses a literature study with the primary source being "Tafsir At-Tabari," written around 270 to 290 H by Imam Abu Jarir At-Tabari (310 H), which narrates the scholars' interpretation of the Salaf generation. This study indicates that the salaf scholars have two attitudes in interpreting the Anthropomorphism Verse. Some scholars interpret the anthropomorphism verse by understanding it as it is. Others argue that the verse is a figure of speech, so they do ta'wil or a method of interpretation by shifting the outward meaning of the text into another meaning that fits the context of the verse.

Abstract

The development of information technology and social media has an impact on accelerating cultural exchange, this is not accompanied by an acceleration of literacy, especially Arabic literacy. There is an assumption that things that smell Arabic are considered as symbols of Islam, for this reason this abdimas aims to provide literacy training in Arabic language and culture for Nasyiatul Aisyiyah cadres, the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah, Sidoarjo. it is hoped that later they will provide literacy insights that have an impact that is not easily consumed by news. hoaxes and can provide enlightenment to the community, especially in the Arabic language field. This activity is carried out with a workshop or literacy camp model as well as seminars on Arabic language and culture in the nuances of Christian culture. The results of the pre-test assessment showed that 85% of the participants could not distinguish between language literacy and Islamic culture originating from the Qur'an and general Arabic cultural literacy which had nothing to do with the Qur'an, while the post-test results showed 95% participants can sort out things related to Islam and Arabic culture.

Abstract

Kelompok Muslim eksklusif seringkali dianggap getol dalam penerapan hukum Islam, contohnya seperti pada kasus pencurian yang keinginan mereka dihukum potong tangan, cambuk untuk pelaku zina, dan berharap agar syari’at Islam diterapkan secara kaffah di Indonesia. Namun adanya kelompok non-Muslim merupakan bentuk realita sunnatullah yang tidak bisa dipungkiri keberadaannya. Konstitusi Indonesia sendiri merupakan cerminan dari konsep konstitusi Mitsaq Madinah bahwa dalam suatu negara harus mengakui keberadaan agama yang sifatnya pun universal. Penelitian ini mengungkap bagaimana persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan syari’at Islam di Indonesia dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada siswa. Terdapat hasil bahwa ada siswa yang terindikasi menginginkan syari’at Islam diterapkan di Indonesia, namun tidak sedikit juga siswa yang tidak setuju jika syari’at Islam diterapkan di Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the strategy in training the discipline of congregational prayers of students through the Allah's Guest Servant Program (PTA) at SMA Insan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo. PTA is the latest program specifically designed by the school to help students be more disciplined in praying in congregation, and giving more priority to prayer than other activities, in facing the challenges of this modern era. With this program, it is expected to form a generation that is not only academically intelligent, but also has strong moral and spiritual integrity. This research uses qualitative methods, with the subject of high school students Insan Cendekia Mandiri Sidoarjo. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data obtained were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model which includes three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the discipline of congregational prayer through the Allah's Guest Servant program is able to improve student discipline. This is because the concept of discipline that emphasizes the growth of student self-awareness through the PTA program is not only focused on creating outward behavior, but more deeply by not relying on momentary punishment.

Motivation to learn plays a very important role in the learning process and the success of the learning process. Abstract

Islamic religion in particular is an important component of education that must be taught to all students, even those who are deaf. Due to their hearing limitations, deaf children have special difficulties when learning the Qur'ān. Qur'ānic learning strategies for severely deaf children - that is, children who have both deafness and hearing loss - will be discussed in this article. Children who are severely deaf and have low literacy levels will have difficulty understanding the language around them. The technique of lip reading and writing Hijaiyah letters is used in the Qur'ānic learning method used in this study. Deaf children are instructed to practice their lips according to the makhorijul of the hijaiyah letters. It takes about six months to learn the hijaiyah letters by heart, with specific learning stages and techniques used. A descriptive qualitative methodology combining observation, interviews and documentation was used in this study. The information collected is presented in the form of images, videos and text. This research provides an alternative to efficiently teach deaf children to recite the Qur'an through the application of this method. Abstract

The purpose of discipline research in pesantren is to maintain discipline at all times so that students do not commit or repeat offenses. Therefore, the way to create awareness of santri discipline can be achieved through humanistic education, namely always fostering good behavior and mutual respect between fellow human beings. Humanistic coaching of santri discipline in An-nur Islamic boarding school through environmental arrangements that support santri discipline such as mosques, dormitories and schools. Furthermore, the child-friendly boarding school program uses logical consequences so that there is no cruel punishment system, no more corporal punishment or the like on students. This type of research uses field research using descriptive qualitative methods. The data collection uses observation, interviews, and documentation. The data generated from interviews and observations were then analyzed qualitatively. Qualitative analysis is carried out to understand the meaning of the data obtained. Abstract

This research uses a qualitative method with an inductive approach that uses thematic analysis techniques. In the research that will be involved there are ten subjects, namely, five respondents from students who have experienced punishment during the disciplinary process and five active students who are minimal in violations. Data collection methods using observation, interviews, documentation. The data analysis technique uses qualitative descriptive analysis. Thus, this study can provide insight into the character and morals of students. the factors that cause students who receive punishment in the disciplinary process and the impact of students after receiving punishment in discipline. receiving punishment in the disciplinary process at the boarding school is a process that is instilled so that students are active and firm in discipline. So it is important for administrators or caregivers to model a disciplined life in boarding schools and create a safe and respectful environment for fellow non-nurturing administrators, to support the superior character of students in carrying out discipline.

Abstract

Salafism and Ash’arism have debated the issue of anthropomorphism verses for a long time. In modern days, both followers spread the debate through social media. This article will discuss Indonesian Salafist’s statement on interpreting anthropomorphism verses on YouTube. We will use Critical Discourse Analysis (CDA) from Fairclough’s perspective to investigate how such discursive practices arise from and are ideologically shaped by power relations and power struggles. We conclude that the Salafists frame Ash’arite as Ahl al-Bid’ah because they distort the meaning of anthropomorphic verses. Salafi groups try to present rational arguments for their beliefs to convey to the public that what they believe is rational. As part of the global Salafist movement, the Indonesian Salafists spread their thoughts through various channels on YouTube and received a negative response from Nahdatul Ulama, an Ash’arite adherent, in the comments column. From a power relationship perspective, we can read that the Salafist group is trying to spread its theology to society. Ash’arism, as the majority sect in Indonesia, is trying to defend itself from the spread of Salafism.

Abstract

The general background advancement of technology has transformed educational practices, necessitating innovative learning media to engage students effectively. Specific background In the context of Islamic education, particularly in the study of fiqh, there is a growing need for interactive learning tools that can facilitate student understanding and engagement. Knowledge gap However, there is limited research on the application of interactive learning media, such as Articulate Storyline, within pesantren settings to support fiqh education. Aims This study aims to develop and evaluate the use of Articulate Storyline as an interactive learning medium for teaching fiqh in An-Nur Islamic Boarding School. Results The findings demonstrate that Articulate Storyline enhances student engagement and understanding of fiqh concepts by integrating various multimedia elements, such as text, graphics, audio, and video, into the learning experience. Novelty this research highlights the innovative use of Articulate Storyline in Islamic education, providing a structured approach to developing engaging learning media that is responsive to students’ interests and experiences. Implications The study's implications suggest that incorporating interactive learning media can significantly enrich the educational experience in pesantren, encouraging active participation and improving overall learning outcomes.
