Abstract

This quantitative research examines the influence of free Wi-Fi availability in coffee shops on teenagers' worship practices. Utilizing observation and questionnaires, the study finds that a substantial percentage of teenagers frequently use Wi-Fi for various tasks, social media access, and gaming. Interestingly, this frequent Wi-Fi usage is also associated with increased rates of prayer and fasting. Statistical analysis reveals a significant effect of free Wi-Fi in coffee shops on teenagers' observance of worship, with a p-value of 0.002 and the calculated f-value surpassing the critical f-table value. These findings highlight the potential impact of technology accessibility on religious behaviors within the community environment. Abstract

General Background: Learning media play a critical role in enhancing the quality and engagement of science education in elementary schools. Specific Background: However, many educators still rely on conventional materials that fail to captivate students' interest, particularly in abstract topics such as the growth and development of living things. Knowledge Gap: There is limited utilization and evaluation of visually engaging media such as Big Book in this specific subject context. Aims: This study aimed to develop and evaluate a Big Book learning media to support the teaching of growth and development in living organisms for third-grade elementary students. Results: The development process employed the ADDIE model and involved 23 students at MI Muhammadiyah 02 Solokuro. Validation from experts yielded scores of 92% (content) and 95% (media design), while student and teacher responses reached 90% and 93%, respectively. Post-test scores increased significantly from 44% to 73%. Novelty: Unlike previous studies, this research applied the Big Book to a science theme rather than early reading skills, demonstrating its interdisciplinary potential. Implications: The Big Book was found to be pedagogically effective, increasing student motivation and comprehension, and is recommended for broader application in science instruction at the elementary level. Highlights: Enhances student interest and comprehension using visual and engaging media. Developed with the ADDIE model and validated by experts with high scores. Abstract

After about two years, the pandemic has hit the world, including education. During the endemic transition period, the recovery phase regarding the impacts and challenges teachers face is an important matter to pay attention to, how teachers, institutions, and the government restore current learning due to yesterday's online education. We conducted the research on the outskirts of Sidoarjo, precisely in the Tarik sub-district, directly adjacent to Mojokerto. So, the author has a goal in this study to see how PAI teachers feel about the Impacts and Challenges at the elementary level. This study used a qualitative research approach, with phenomenological methods and data collection techniques using interviews, observation, and documentation. This study used purposive sampling as a data collection technique. The subject of this research was a PAI teacher at an SD and MI in the Tarik-Sidoarjo area. The study's results and conclusions stated that learning carried out online impacted the current learning process, where student learning motivation decreased due to yesterday's online learning. In addition, digital literacy is a challenge for Islamic education teachers today. In the implication during this endemic transition period, the impacts and challenges teachers feel can be evaluated in the education sector in Indonesia so that they are better.

Abstract

The Wafa method is one of the methods used to memorize the Qur'an by maximizing the right brain. This method has the characteristics of reading the Koran with hijaz rhythm, learning with sound equations, as well as syllable grouping, and in this wafa method using movements according to the translation of the verse. The purpose of this study is to determine the application of the success of the wafa method in improving the memorization of students and to determine the success of the wafa method in improving the memorization of students at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School Nurul Fikri Sidoarjo. This study uses qualitative research using a phenomenological approach. The subjects in this study were the coordinator of the Qur'anic teacher and the Qur'an tahfidz team. The types of data sources obtained are primary and secondary data sources. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. While the data analysis techniques used in this study are data reduction, data condensation, data presentation and data verification. The results of this study found that in the process of learning the Qur'an and Tahfidz at the Integrated Islamic Elementary School Nurul Fikri Sidoarjo applied the Wafa method using the TANDUR strategy (Grow, Natural, Peaceful, Demonstration, Repeat and Celebrate) which was packaged in five stages (opening practice, teaching , assessment and closing). In the aspect of Tahfidz, it uses Hijaz rhythm with ascending, medium, and low scales. With the use of strategies from the 5P concept as seen from the acquisition of students' memorization of the Koran, it can be said that the application of the Wafa method in improving students' memorization and the success of the wafa method in improving memorization can be said to run very well and effectively because considering that most students already have the option to complete memorization of the specified juz and able to achieve more than the targeted memorization.

Abstract

Learning the Qur'an which is taught is often only through the lecture method without any supporting media which in turn has an impact on reducing student understanding. In this regard, SD Muhammadiyah 5 Porong has developed a media poster which aims to increase students' understanding of the interpretation of surah al-Ma'un relating to prayer. The focus of this research is on the development of poster media and its application in surah al-Ma'un material. This research uses research and development (R&D) method. This research was conducted at the elementary school level to conduct product trials and the application of the resulting media, namely in the form of posters on the importance of prayer after going through the validation stages. The data obtained in testing on a small scale with 6 student respondents fall into the eligible category. While the large-scale product trials involving 15 students, in total 97% of students said yes (Y) were interested in poster media when asked, while only 3% of students said they were not (T) interested in the very qualified category. This shows that the application of poster learning media to learning to interpret the interpretation of the Al-Qur'an juz 30 in the resulting surah al-Ma'un is categorized as very effective to apply to learning.

Abstract

            Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas penggunaan gadged terhadap hasil belajar pendidikan agama islam (PAI) Siswa MTS sabilil khoir Porong,Sidoarjo.latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada fenomena meningkatnya penggunaan gadget di kalangan remaja yang memberikan dampak positif maupun negatif,terhadap capaian akademik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 30 siswa yang dipilih secara acak, sedangkan instrumen pengumpulan data berupa angket,dan dokumentasi nilai hasil belajar PAI. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dengan bantuan SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intensitas penggunaan gadget berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar PAI siswa. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi 0,008 (< 0,05) dan koefisien regresi positif sebesar 0,609. Koefisien determinasi (R²) sebesar 0,226 mengindikasikan bahwa intensitas penggunaan gadget memberikan kontribusi sebesar 22,6% terhadap hasil belajar PAI, sementara 77,4% dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa gadget dapat menjadi sarana pembelajaran yang efektif jika digunakan secara tepat dan terarah.Simpulan penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan gadget yang terkontrol dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar PAI siswa. Oleh karena itu, guru, orang tua, dan sekolah diharapkan dapat berkolaborasi dalam membimbing serta mengarahkan siswa agar memanfaatkan gadget sebagai media pembelajaran yang produktif.

Abstract

Kelompok Muslim eksklusif seringkali dianggap getol dalam penerapan hukum Islam, contohnya seperti pada kasus pencurian yang keinginan mereka dihukum potong tangan, cambuk untuk pelaku zina, dan berharap agar syari’at Islam diterapkan secara kaffah di Indonesia. Namun adanya kelompok non-Muslim merupakan bentuk realita sunnatullah yang tidak bisa dipungkiri keberadaannya. Konstitusi Indonesia sendiri merupakan cerminan dari konsep konstitusi Mitsaq Madinah bahwa dalam suatu negara harus mengakui keberadaan agama yang sifatnya pun universal. Penelitian ini mengungkap bagaimana persepsi siswa terhadap penerapan syari’at Islam di Indonesia dengan penyebaran kuesioner kepada siswa. Terdapat hasil bahwa ada siswa yang terindikasi menginginkan syari’at Islam diterapkan di Indonesia, namun tidak sedikit juga siswa yang tidak setuju jika syari’at Islam diterapkan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan media audio visual, dan seberapa besar peningkatkan kemampuan siswa dalam membaca AlQur’an sesuai dengan tajwid dan makharijul huruf melalui penerapan media audio visual. Pembelajaran menggunakan media audio visual tidak hanya menggunakan laptop maupun lcd proyector saja. Namun juga bisa memanfaatkan substitusi media menggunakan gambar lukis atau cetak yang disertai instrumen musik menggunakan speaker. Jadi dalam penggunaan audio visual pendidik mampu berkreasi dalam mengajar, pendidik mampu memberikan kreativitas melalui gambar berwarna dan instrument musik saat proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan pedekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Subyek yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah santri TPQ Hidayatullah kelas Madrasah Diniyah (Madin), yang berlokasi di desa Becirongengor dengan jumlah 20 siswa. Adapun tahapan pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu: perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Sedangkan teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan pegumpulan data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan pembelajaran menggunakan media audio visual dalam meningkatkan kualitas tajwid dan makharijul huruf surah Al-Qadr. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat dilihat dari pre-assessment rata-rata hasil belajar memperoleh 23.75% meningkat menjadi 25% pada siklus I. Sedangkan pada siklus II diperoleh rata-rata hasil belajar 33% dan meningkat hingga mencapai 50% pada hasil postassessment. Hasil belajar dari pre-assessment hingga post-assessment mengalami peningkatan sebesar 50%. Hasil persentase telah mencapai kategori sangat baik dan dinyatakan tuntas secara klasikal.This study aims to determine how the implementation of learning using audio-visual media, and how much the improvement of students' ability to read the Qur'an in accordance with tajweed and makharijul letters through the application of audio-visual media. Learning using audio visual media does not only use laptops or LCD projectors. But it can also take advantage of media substitution using painted or printed images accompanied by musical instruments using speakers. So in using audio visual educators are able to be creative in teaching, educators are able to provide creativity through colourful images and musical instruments during the teaching and learning process. This research uses the method of Classroom Action Research (PTK) with quantitative and qualitative approaches. The subjects used in this study were TPQ Hidayatullah students of Madrasah Diniyah (Madin) class, located in Becirongengor village with a total of 20 students. The stages of data collection carried out in this study are: planning, action, observation, and reflection. While data analysis techniques are carried out by collecting data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that there is an improvement in learning using audiovisual media in improving the quality of tajwid and makharijul huruf surah Al-Qadr. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen from the pre-assessment that the average learning outcomes obtained were 23.75%, which increased to 25% in the first cycle. While in cycle II, the average learning outcome was 33% and increased to reach 50% in the post-assessment results. Learning outcomes from pre-assessment to post-assessment have increased by 50%. The percentage results have reached the excellent category and declared classically complete.
