Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik elemen-elemen visual yang terdiri dari garis, warna dan gelap terang pada karya vector art di Vectorina Medan Community tahun 2019. Adapun populasi yang terdapat dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 15 karya vector art di Vectorina Medan Community sehingga sampel yang ditetapkan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari 3 karya dengan menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan kekuatan karakteristik vector art di Vectorina Medan Community yang dijadikan sampel berdasarkan karakteristik dari garis, warna dan gelap terang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan, kekuatan elemen-elemen visual berdasarkan karakteristik adalah berasal dari penggambaran dan penentuan elemen-elemen visual yang baik seperti penempatan warna, gelap terang dan garis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Vectorina Medan Community di mana permasalahan diangkat berdasarkan karya vector art yang ada di komunitas. Vector art merupakan salah satu karya grafis komputer di mana karya dibuat dengan Software berbasis Vector. Dari penelitian yang sudah dilaksanakan maka bisa disimpulkan karakteristik karya vector art Vectorina Medan  Community sangat kuat.  Kata Kunci: vector art, karakteristik, elemen visual.AbstractThis study aims to determine the characteristik of visual elementsconsiting of lines, colors and light dark on the work vector art in Vectorina Medan Community 2019. As for the population contained in this study as many 100 vector art works in Vectorin Medan Community so the sample determined in this study consisted of 15 words using a purposive sampling technique. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method to determine and illustrate the strength of the characteristics of vector art in the Vectorina Community in Medan, which is sampled based on the characteristics of lines, colors and light darkness. The results showed that the strength of visual elements based on characteristics came from the depiction and determination of good visual elements such as placement of colors, dark light and lines. This research was conducted at the Vectorina Community in Medan where problems arise based on vector art in the community. Vector art is one of the computer graphic works in which the work is made with Vector-based Software. From the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the characteristics of vectorina Medan Community vector art are very strong. Keywords: vector art, characteristics, visual elements.

Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan kemampuan menggambar bentuk dan menggambar ornamen dengan hasil belajar modifikasi motif ornamen Batak Angkola. Objek yang digambar untuk menggambar bentuk adalah botol dan gelas dan motif yang digambar untuk menggambar ornamen adalah motif Batak Angkola. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 28 Medan dengan jumlah 240 siswa dan sampel yaitu kelas VII B yang berjumlah 30 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian correlational research. Hasil temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan kemampuan menggambar bentuk dan menggambar ornamen dengan hasil belajar modifikasi motif ornamen Batak Angkola, yang dibuktikan dengan  Fhitung = 23,74 untuk dk= n-k-1 = 27 a = 0,05 Ftabel = 3,35 ternyata Fhitung >Ftabel (23,74 > 3,35). Besar hubungan antara kemampuan menggambar bentuk dan menggambar ornamen dengan modifikasi motif ornamen Batak Angkola berkorelasi yaitu 0,71, dan besar sumbangan (kontribusi) yaitu sebesar 51%.Kata Kunci: menggambar, ornamen, modifikasi, Batak Angkola.AbstractThis study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between the ability to draw shapes and draw ornaments with the results of learning to modify the Angkola Batak ornament motif. The objects drawn to draw shapes are bottles and glasses and the motif drawn for drawing ornaments is the Angkola Batak motif. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 28 Medan with 240 students and samples namely VII B class which amounted to 30 students using cluster random sampling technique. This research method uses correlational research. The results of the research show that there is a relationship between the ability to draw shapes and draw ornaments with the learning outcomes of modifications to the Angkola Batak ornament motif, as evidenced by Fcount = 23.74 for dk = nk-1 = 27 a = 0.05 Ftable = 3.35 turns Fcount > Ftable (23.74> 3.35). The magnitude of the relationship between the ability to draw shapes and draw ornaments with modifications to the Angkola Batak ornament motif is correlated at 0.71, and the contribution (contribution) is 15%. Keywords: drawing, ornament, modification, Angkola Batak.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effect of Self-Efficacy, Management Ability, and Internal Communication on Teachers’ Organizational Commitment at Dwi Warna Senior High School Medan. The amount of population is 52 people and the sample is 30 people. The distribution data shows that 62.30% is included in the Fair category and 37.70 in the less category.  The data distribution of Self-efficacy categorizes that 65.90% is included in the fair category and 34.10% in the less category. The distribution of Management Capability data shows that 64.40% is included in the high category and 35.60% in the fair category. The distribution of Internal Communication data shows that 68.20% is included in the high category and 31.80% in the fair category. The results obtained from the calculation are 50.394. The F table is calculated with the provisions of the significance level of 95% and alpha 5% and degrees of freedom with provisions n - 1 = 29. With these provisions obtained lift Ftable = 2, 85 Thus the value of Fcount = 50.394, and Ftable = 2.85. Because Fcount > Ftable which means that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so it can be concluded that there is a significant simultaneous influence between self-efficacy, Management Capability, Internal Communication on Organizational Commitment.

Abstract

Studi tentang manajemen pendidikan Seni Rupa dilakukan untuk memperoleh model manajemen pendidikan seni yang efektif. Sejak lama telah terjadi fenomena kegelisahan di dunia pendidikan tentang efektifitas proses pendidikan seni yang terkesan masih belum produktif dan efisien . Hal ini dapat dilihat pada proses-proses pendidikan di banyak sekolah, misalnya tentang penataan kurikulum, penyusunan perangkat pembelajaran, kesediaan tenaga guru yang masih banyak bukan dari lulusan yang sesui bidang setudi, materi dan peralatan yang belum memadai, serta sistem menejemen yang masih kurang efektif. Pendidikan seni yang efektif dibutuhkan inovasi manajemen yang baik pula. Untuk menciptakan sebuah manajemen pendidikan seni yang efektif dan baik sangat penting dalam melibatkan pakar atau ahli dibidangnya. Hal tersebut tentu niscaya akan mampu membawa hasil produk manajemen seni yang memiliki karakteristik dan berdampak pada implementasi yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan proses pembelajaran yang efektif. Manajemen dalam sebuah pendidikan seni merupakan kebutuhan untuk memudahkan pencapaian tujuan pendidikannya, serta dibutuhkan dalam mengelola segela sumber daya yang ada, misalnya seperti sarana prasarana, waktu, SDM, dan metode yang inovatif, efektif dan efisien. Berdasarkan hal-hal tersebut sangat penting melibatkan banyak pihak kususnya para ahli dibidang manajemen pendidikan seni yang akan dapat menghasilkan formulasi manajemen yang efektif dalam menjalankan kurikulum, sarana prasarana, dan tenaga pengajar yang sesuai dengan ciri khas pendidikan seni yang terprogram dalam fungsi manajemen pendidikan seperti : 1) perencanaan, 2) pengorganisasian, 3) pelaksanaan dan 4) evaluasi.

Abstract

Studi ini mengkaji manajemen pertunjukan seni tradisional berbasis keragaman dan kearipan lokal Sumatera Utara. Berbagai perhelatan pertunjukan seni tradisional maupun pameran seni tradisional Sumatera Utara dapat menjadi daya tarik tersendiri bagi perkembangan industri pariwisata maupun pembangunan kebudayaan, namun demikian berbagai jenis keragaman seni pertunjukan ini masih telihat apa adanya saja dan tentu saja masih kalah bersaing dengan model-model seni pertunjukan populer dengan segala kecanggihan dan model manajemen pertunjukan yang lebih baik. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian lapangan dengan metode deskripsi kualitatif yaitu menggambarkan atau mengamati fakta - fakta yang sedang berlangsung. Tekhnik pengumpulan data dan penelitian ini adalah observasi dan wawancara. Tekhnik pengolahan dan analisa data di gunakan metode deskripsi kualitatif yaitu, menguraikan bagaimana proses manajemen yang diterapkan. Dalam studi ini ditemukan hasil kajian sebagai berikut : Manajemen pertunjukan seni memiliki peran dan kedudukan yang penting dalam kaitannya dengan target pencapaiannya secara optimal. Ada empat unsur manajemen pertunjukan seni yang sangat penting, yakni: 1) Unsur perencanaan yang menetapkan kebutuhan yang bersifat fital untuk memenuhi ketercapaian tujuan ideal. 2) Unsur pengorganisasian yakni dengan menempatkan SDM yang berkualitas. 3) Unsur pelaksanaan yakni telah ditetapkan aktivitas dalam mencapai tujuan pertunjukan seni. 4) Unsur Controling atau evaluasi untuk menentukan standar atau tolak ukur keberhasilan manajemen petunjukan seni baik evaluasi secara sistem ataupun produk hasil pertunjukan seni.

Abstract

Guru penggerak menjadi prestasi tersendiri bagi guru saat ini. Dalam menjalani program pendidikan guru penggerak para guru harus memiliki kreativitas. Adversity Quotient yang baik juga mempengaruhi kreativitas yang dimiliki seseorang. Penelitian Kuantitatif ini, melibatkan 40 orang sampel yang terdiri dari 14 orang berstatus guru penggerak, 19 guru berprestasi, dengan prestasi sebagai guru berprestasi, guru inti, mentor nasional dan Duta Rumah belajar Nasional, dan yang berstatus guru penggerak berprestasi sebanyak 7 orang. Analisa data statistik menggunakan bantuan SPSS versi 26. Uji Normalitas dengan Kolmogorov Smirnov diperoleh nilai signifikansi setiap variabel 0,000, < 0.05, disimpulkan bahwa data terdistrubusi normal. Uji Homogenitas dengan Uji Levene diperoleh nilai signifikansi 0,120 > dari 0,05, disimpulkan bahwa sampel bersifat homogen. Guru penggerak, Guru berprestasi dan guru penggerak berprestasi yang terlibat dalam penelitian ini memiliki kreativitas mayoritas tinggi, 10 orang atau 25% kreativitas sedang, dan 30 orang atau 75% kreativitas tinggi. Adversity yang dimiliki oleh kelompok sampel juga masuk dalam kategori Sedang (Campers) sebanyak 25 orang atau 37.5% dan Climbers sebanyak 15 orang atau 62,5%. Dalam penelitian ini mendapatkan beberapa temuan diantaranya Guru dengan adversity quotient Climbers memiliki kreativitas lebih tinggi. Guru penggerak berprestasi memiliki Kreativitas lebih tinggi. Guru dengan Adversity Climbers tidak memiliki kreativitas yang lebih tinggi. Kedepannya diharapkan agar guru penggerak dan guru berprestasi tetap mengasah ketangguhan diri dan kreativitasnya untuk mendukung tranformasi pendidikan Indonesia

Abstract

This study describes the principal's supervision model in improving teacher performance, the stages of principal's supervision in improving teacher performance, and the obstacles faced in the implementation of principal's supervision in improving teacher performance. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a pedagogical approach, a psychological approach, a sociological approach and a managerial approach. The research was conducted at SMK Negeri 1 Bireuen. Data sources are primary sources and secondary sources. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews, and documentation. The research instruments were interview guides, observation sheets and documentation. The data is processed by editing, coding, and tabulating. The data were analyzed by data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data was tested through technical triangulation and source triangulation. The results showed that the supervision models used were conventional models, artistic models, scientific models and clinical models. The stages of supervision are the planning stage including socialization, explaining the supervision indicators, and making a schedule, the implementation stage includes pre-observation, observation and post-observation activities, and the last is the follow-up stage. Obstacles to the implementation of supervision are the broad managerial scope of the principal, teachers are less prepared for learning, the subjectivity of supervisory teachers is still high, there are frequent replacements of principals, limited facilities and infrastructure, and lack of teacher discipline.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe: 1) the effect of self-efficacy on the performance of the driving teacher, 2) the effect of work motivation on the performance of the driving teacher, and 3) the effect of self-efficacy and work motivation on the performance of the driving teacher. This research design is in the form of an explanation. The subjects of this study were all teachers in Mandailing Natal Regency, totaling 60 people. The instrument of data collection was through a questionnaire. Data analysis used inferential statistical analysis with multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, the coefficient of Freg = 0.809; sig. 0.450. the higher the self-efficacy and the higher the work motivation, the higher the performance. On the other hand, the lower the self-efficacy and the lower the work motivation, the lower the performance of the driving teacher. Based on the results of this study, it can be stated that the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted. The results of this study also prove that self-efficacy and work motivation contribute 36.186% to performance. This means that the two variables (self-efficacy and work motivation) contribute 36.186% to the high and low performance.

Abstract

This research wants to examine how the management of the creation of works of art made from organic waste (wood and marine biota) in Jaring Halus Village, North Sumatra. The method used in this study was the method of creation with an experimental model by utilizing waste as a model for creating works of art. The research was conducted in Jaring Halus Village, Langkat, North Sumatra. The stages in this research begin with identifying internal and external potentials. The internal potential is the location and organic waste such as waste wood and marine biota and the like. Furthermore, the external potential was the community's ability to explore the aesthetic power of waste to become an expression of works of art; in this case, presentations and design workshops are held through design simulations and references. The next step was selecting the quality of the waste wood, which includes elements of shape, structure, texture, and size. Based on the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that some of the research findings are as follows: 1) the steps taken include: Planning, Mapping of waste locations, Mapping types of waste in categories, Understanding design as a material for creating works of art, Process of assembling forms works of art, the process of refining, the Process of presenting works of art. 2). In managing the creation of works of art by utilizing organic waste (wood and marine biota), we have produced several new prototypes of works of art made from organic waste. 3) Using creative methods based on adaptive and connotative patterns greatly encourages the creation of more significant and productive works of art.

Abstract

The importance of school culture as a school personality is the basis for the formation of norms, values, and performance in schools. The research was conducted using Mix Methods, through interviews and an inventory survey of school culture to school principals and teachers at SMPN 3 Lubuk Pakam, a total of 45 people. The results of the interviews show that the principal, teachers and staff feel comfortable and have the support of one another. the school culture inventory survey also shows that the school culture is in a very good category, (X=145.62). Human Relations Orientation, Open System, Internal Process and Rational Purpose are all in good category. Each orientation is significantly correlated with school culture, internal process orientation (R=0.78), open system orientation (R=0.865), rational goal orientation (0.839) and human relations orientation (R=0.660).
