Abstrak: Pemberian Makanan Pendamping Air Susu Ibu (MPASI) yang tepat pada anak usia 6–24 bulan sangat penting untuk mendukung tumbuh kembang optimal serta mencegah masalah gizi seperti stunting, wasting, dan underweight. Namun, banyak ibu balita (baduta) yang belum memahami konsep dasar MPASI, termasuk jenis, tekstur, frekuensi pemberian, serta risiko MPASI yang tidak sesuai usia. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan ibu baduta mengenai MPASI melalui edukasi berbasis leaflet di Posyandu Integrasi Layanan Primer (ILP) pada wilayah kerja duaPuskesmas di Kota Surakarta (Gajahan, dan Ngoresan). Kegiatan diikuti oleh 17 ibu balita dan dilaksanakan melalui ceramah interaktif, diskusi, serta demonstrasi menu MPASI berdasarkan kelompok usia (6–8 bulan, 9–11 bulan, dan 12–23 bulan). Evaluasi dilakukan menggunakan pre-test dan post-test sebanyak 10 soal pilihan ganda, serta observasi partisipatif. Hasil tabulasi awal menunjukkan adanya kecenderungan peningkatan skor pengetahuan peserta pre dan post-test yaitu 7,85 menjadi 9. Edukasi MPASI dengan media leaflet dapat meningkatkan pemahaman ibu, sehingga pengabdian selanjutnya dapat fokus pada modul praktis MPASI berbasis bahan lokal dan pelatihan memasak.Abstract: Appropriate complementary feeding (MPASI) for children aged 6–24 months plays a critical role in supporting optimal growth and development, as well as preventing nutritional problems such as stunting, wasting, and underweight. However, many mothers of toddlers still lack adequate knowledge about the basic principles of MPASI, including appropriate types, textures, feeding frequency, and the risks of inappropriate timing. This community service program aimed to improve maternal knowledge about MPASI through leaflet-based education at Integrated Primary Service Posyandu (ILP) in the working areas of three Public Health Centers (Puskesmas) in Surakarta City: Gajahan and Ngoresan. A total of 17 mothers of toddlers participated in the program, which consisted of interactive lectures, group discussions, and demonstrations of age-appropriate MPASI menus (6–8 months, 9–11 months, and 12–23 months). Evaluation was conducted using a pre-test and post-test containing 10 multiple-choice questions, alongside direct observation during the sessions. Preliminary tabulation results indicated a positive trend in participants’ knowledge scores pre and post-test: from 7,85 to 9. MPASI education using leaflets can improve mothers understanding, so that in the future they can focus more on practical MPASI modules based on local ingredients and cooking training.
