Abstract

Hal yang paling mendasar dalam praktik literasi adalah kegiatan membaca. Tujuan pelaksanaan PKM Gerakan Literasi Sekolah di tingkat sekolah dasar di Desa Goarie, yaitu menguatkan pendidikan karakter siswa dengan gerakan literasi sekolah melalui peran guru di sekolah dasar. Metode yang digunakan dalam pengabdian ini ada beberapa tahap, yakni, observasi, pelaksanaan ,serta evaluasi. Mitra PKM adalah Guru SD di Desa Goarie. Hasil kegiatan PKM adalah meningkatkan peran guru SD dalam gerakan literasi di tingkat sekolah dasar di Desa Goarie. Setelah diadakan PKM gerakan literasi sekolah ada perubahan yang signifikan dalam pengembangan literasi di sekolah oleh para guru dengan rutinnya dilakukan membaca 15 menit sebelum pembelajaran inti dimulai.

Abstract

Local culture-based education represents a learning paradigm that integrates local cultural wisdom and values into educational curricula and practices. The aim of this approach is to create a learning environment that is rooted in the social, cultural, and student environment, thus enriching the learning process with relevant experiences and perspectives. In this study, we explored the benefits of local culture-based education, including strengthening cultural identities, developing skills relevant to local contexts, and increasing community engagement and participation in the educational process. The method of research used is literature by searching for references that match the context of research. Research results show that students who participate in local culture-based education tend to have a greater sense of pride and appreciation for their cultural heritage, which has a positive impact on learning motivation and a sense of attachment to the community. Furthermore, curricula designed to meet local needs and potential encourage the application of skills in authentic settings, enhancing the relevance and applicability of learning. Implementation of local culture-based education also facilitates intercultural dialogue, strengthens tolerance, and encourages intergenerational collaboration, enriching the learning environment and society as a whole.

Abstract

This study examines compound words in the Suwawa language, which involve the combination of two words to create new meanings and are commonly used in Suwawa conversations. The research focuses on two key aspects: (1) the forms of compound words in Suwawa and (2) the meaning of compound words in Suwawa. Employing a qualitative descriptive method, the study aims to elucidate the forms and meanings of compound words in Suwawa. Data were collected from Suwawa language speakers residing in Tingkohubu Timur village, Suwawa Subdistrict, utilizing data collection tables and employing interview, documentation, listening, and recording techniques. The data analysis involved presenting, reducing, and verifying the data to draw comprehensive conclusions. The findings reveal two significant outcomes. Firstly, the Suwawa language exhibits three forms of compound words: substantive subordinative, attributive subordinative, and coordinative compound words. Secondly, compound words in Suwawa convey three distinct meanings: noun, verb, and adjective compound words. This research sheds light on the structure and semantic aspects of compound words in the Suwawa language, contributing to a deeper understanding of Suwawa linguistics.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh literasi keuangan terhadap disrupsi perilaku keuangan dengan moderasi pekerjaan orang tua pada mahasiswa Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. Literasi keuangan merupakan faktor penting dalam pengelolaan keuangan individu, terutama dalam menghadapi perkembangan teknologi finansial seperti e-wallet dan layanan Paylater. Studi ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan explanatory research. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 348 mahasiswa aktif yang dipilih dengan teknik sampling Slovin. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa literasi keuangan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap disrupsi perilaku keuangan mahasiswa. Namun, pekerjaan orang tua tidak memoderasi hubungan antara literasi keuangan dan disrupsi perilaku keuangan. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa meskipun pekerjaan orang tua dapat mencerminkan nilai ekonomi, pengaruhnya tidak cukup kuat dalam memperkuat hubungan tersebut. Temuan ini menegaskan perlunya peningkatan pendidikan literasi keuangan dalam lingkungan akademik agar mahasiswa lebih siap menghadapi tantangan finansial di era digital.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the use of conversational implicatures in the novel "A Man Who Leaves the House" by Phutut EA. Type of descriptive qualitative research. The data source is the speech of the characters in the novel. Data collection techniques in this research are reading techniques and note-taking techniques. The research results revealed that there were 5 general conversational implicatures, 5 specific conversational implicatures, and 10 themed conversational implicatures in the novel "Seorang Laki-laki yang Keluar dari Rumah" by Phutut EA.

Abstract

This research is quantitative research which aims to: (1) describe the results of class VIII students' poetry writing skills at SMP Negeri 1 Takalar using audiovisual media. This research is a type of quantitative research. The research design used is a One-Shot Case Study Research Design. The population in this study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 1 Takalar. The sample in this research consisted of 25 students. The data collection technique in this research is a written test technique in the form of literary works in the form of poetry. The collected data was analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of the analysis show that: (1) students' poetry writing skills after using audiovisual media for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 1 Takalar are categorized as good with the minimum score obtained by students being 63.3, the maximum score obtained by students being 93.3 and the average score being average is 76

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media kartu kata bergambar berbasis kearifan lokal pada materi pengenalan huruf untuk siswa kelas II di SDN 068 Manganan, Kecamatan Rongkong, Kabupaten Luwu Utara. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya minat dan pemahaman siswa terhadap huruf akibat penggunaan media pembelajaran yang kurang menarik dan tidak kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan tahapan: analisis kebutuhan, desain produk, validasi ahli, revisi, dan uji kepraktisan. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil analisis kebutuhan menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik membutuhkan media yang visual, berwarna, bergambar, dan kontekstual dengan lingkungan sekitar. Validasi oleh ahli materi dan ahli media menunjukkan bahwa media layak digunakan dengan beberapa perbaikan pada aspek tampilan. Uji kepraktisan oleh guru dan siswa menunjukkan bahwa media mudah digunakan, fleksibel, dan menarik. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa media kartu kata bergambar berbasis kearifan lokal layak dan praktis untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran pengenalan huruf di kelas rendah sekolah dasar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the structure of persuasive text and the linguistic characteristics of persuasive text by students of class VIII SMP Negeri 9 Maros. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The focus of this research is the structure of persuasive text and the linguistic characteristics of persuasive text. The research data source is persuasive text by students. The data collection technique was carried out using the mark reading technique and the note taking technique. The instrument of this research is the researcher himself as the main instrument and supporting instruments such as documentation studies in the form of students' persuasive text work. The results of this study prove that, mastery of the structure of persuasive text and the linguistic characteristics of persuasive text is still weak which is characterized by the incomplete structure and lack of linguistic features in the work of persuasive text.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang bertujuan untuk menguji efektivitas dua media digital, yaitu Google Dokumen dan Google Formulir, dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar menulis teks autobiografi siswa kelas XII IPA di SMAN 7 Makassar. Adapun rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah: Apakah terdapat perbedaan signifikan dalam hasil belajar menulis teks autobiografi antara siswa yang menggunakan media Google Dokumen dan siswa yang menggunakan media Google Formulir? Data dikumpulkan melalui tes tertulis yang diberikan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa baik Google Dokumen maupun Google Formulir efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Nilai rata-rata kelas Google Dokumen meningkat dari 69,44 (kategori kurang) menjadi 90,83 (kategori baik), sedangkan kelas Google Formulir meningkat dari 67,22 menjadi 84,17. Namun, hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa perbedaan tersebut tidak signifikan secara statistik (t-hitung = 0,679 < t-tabel = 1,677). Dengan demikian, kedua media sama-sama efektif, namun tidak menunjukkan perbedaan signifikan dalam peningkatan hasil belajar menulis teks autobiografi.

Abstract

Bugis language is language of communication, meaning that Bugis language is used to communicate between individuals who know the language. Bugis language has been known in the archipelago, because the Bugis people have immigrated to various places and have spread widely outside South Sulawesi. This study uses a qualitative research type, presentation of descriptive data in the form of words and santences written, or spoken from the observed humor speakers. Based on the results of the study, the researcher found that there were several humors in the Bugis language that were often used by people in everyday life. In the focus of the study, the forms of humor found were 3 forms, namely humor in the forms of satire, forms of humor in everyday life and funny hyperbolic humor. In the focus of the third study, the function, of humor found by the researcher was 4 functions, namely easing tension, there were 2 humors, teaching others to see problems from various angles, there were 2 humors, entertaining, there were 3 humors, making someone aware and making someone tolerate something, there were 2 humors.
