Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology is driving the transition toward Society 5.0, where intelligent transportation systems enhance safety, efficiency, and sustainability. One of the biggest challenges in transportation is the high frequency of vehicle accidents, with approximately 80% attributed to driver error. To mitigate this, Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) have been developed to improve vehicle autonomy and reduce accidents. This research proposes a potential field-based collision avoidance system for autonomous vehicle navigation, where the vehicle and obstacles act as positive poles, repelling each other, while the target destination serves as a negative pole, attracting the vehicle. Experimental results demonstrate a GPS positioning error of 1.55 m with a 66% success rate and LiDAR sensor accuracy of 96.4%, exceeding the required 95% threshold. Obstacle avoidance was tested with two safety thresholds (2 m and 2.5 m) across single- and two-obstacle scenarios. The 2 m threshold resulted in shorter travel distances (16.406 m vs. 16.535 m for 2.5 m) and faster completion times (19.036 s vs. 19.144 s), while the 2.5 m threshold provided greater clearance. GPS accuracy was significantly influenced by HDOP values and satellite count, with lower HDOP improving trajectory precision. The system successfully adjusted its trajectory in response to obstacles, ensuring effective real-time navigation.

Abstract

The capacity strengthening program for electric vehicle conversion workshops at SMK Karya Nugraha Boyolali was implemented through a synergistic collaboration model between universities, vocational schools, and industry. This study employed a qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method to evaluate the effectiveness of the six-month program. The findings revealed a significant improvement in participants’ technical competencies, as evidenced by the increase in pre-test and post-test scores, as well as the successful development of a solar photovoltaic (PV)-based electric vehicle charging station prototype. Beyond technical achievements, the program also strengthened multi-stakeholder collaboration and fostered the creation of a micro-scale clean energy ecosystem within the school environment. These results demonstrate that practice-based vocational training combined with strategic collaboration can make a substantial contribution to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly clean energy (SDG 7), industry innovation (SDG 9), and climate change mitigation (SDG 13).

Abstract

Saat ini listrik menjadi kebutuhan utama masyarakat. Pembangkit listrik di Indonesia sebagain besar bersumber dari energi batu bara yakni mencapai 57.2%. Batu bara sendiri merupakan sumber energi yang tidak bisa diperbaruhi. Selain itu, pembangkit listrik jenis ini menimbulkan pencemaran udara. Untuk itu, sumber pembangkit listrik alternatif yang ramah lingkungan dan dengan suplay yang melimpah sangat diperlukan. Salah satu sumber listrik alternatif yang paling mudah untuk dibangun dengan biaya rendah adalah sistem panel surya. Sistem panel surya sudah banyak diaplikasikan di Indonesia, bahkan sudah dibangun Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS). Beberapa tempat yang sudah terpasang sistem panel surya, pada akhirnya terbengkalai karena rusak dan masyarakat belum begitu faham sistem panel surya sehingga tidak bisa memperbaikinya. Untuk itu, sosialisasi tentang energi terbarukan ini penting untuk dilaksanakan. Pengenalan sumber energi terbarukan tenaga surya ini perlu dikenalkan lebih dini kepada siswa sekolah untuk meningkatkan minat dan rasa ingin tahu siswa dalam mempelajari, memanfaatkan, dan bahkan mengembangkan nantinya. Kegiatan dilakukan secara daring guna mematuhi protokol kesehatan covid-19. Media yang dipakai adalah grup whatsapp, video, dan e-booklet. Untuk mengukur keberhasilan program, sebelum acara dilakukan pre-test dengan hasil 22, 5% siswa tidak tahu tentang panel surya. Setalah sosialisasi post-test, hasilnya rata-rata nilai mencapai 79,46%, yang menunjukkan tingkat pamahaman peserta cukup baik terhadap materi yang disampaikan. Sampel pertanyaan mendasar tentang sistem panel surya, menunjukkan hanya 0,9% siswa yang salah. Kesimpulan akhir, siswa telah mendapat pengetahuan tentang energi terbarukan panel surya melalui kegiatan sosialisasi yang telah dilakukan.

Abstract

Dewasa ini pemanfaatan teknologi untuk meningkatkan hasil pertanian tumbuh pesat. Salah satu bentuk pemanfaatannya adalah dengan menggunakan energi terbarukan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas hasil pertanian. Energi terbarukan yang implementasinya sudah sangat banyak adalah Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS). Pengunaan PLTS sebagai sumber energi alternatif yang digunakan untuk pengerak alat perontok dan pengering padi otomatis. Petani selalu kesulitan saat musim penghujan maupun kemarau kering tiba-tiba dan sinar matahari tidak dapat mencapai intensitas maksimal saat digunakan untuk mengeringkan padi secara konvensional, oleh karena itu alat perontok dan pengeringan padi otomatis tenaga PLTS sebagai alternatif solusi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memberi wawasan dan pengetahuan akan pembuatan dan prinsip kerja dari alat perontok dan pengeringan padi otomatis tenaga PLTS sebagai alternatif solusi untuk meningkatkan padi secara teknologi, dengan demikian diharapkan masyarakat mendapatkan manfaat lebih cepat dalam pengeringan padi dan menghemat biaya untuk pengeluaran memanen padi, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas hasil pertanian.

Abstract

Revolusi Industri 4.0 telah banyak membawa banyak perubahan baik itu positif maupun negartif. Segi positifnya yaitu telah banyak dipakainya otomasi dan robot di dunia industri sehingga produksi bisa meningkat pesat. Sedangkan sudut negatif, semakin banyaknya pekerjaan manusia yang tergantikan oleh mesin sehingga memperkecil peluang kerja. Adanya revolusi industri 4.0 juga membawa kesenjangan antara kelompok melek teknologi dan kelompok gagap teknologi (gaptek). Warga kampung atau desa merupakan kelompok besar dari golongan gaptek. Untuk itu, suatu peluang usaha baru yang dapat dikerjakan msyarakat desa dengan tingkat pendidikan menengah sangat diperlukan. Maka dipilihlah program perikanan bioflok lele. Sentuhan teknologi otomasi dan Internet of Things (IoT) diberikan untuk meningkatkan produktivitas dan membuat masyarakat melek akan perkembangan teknologi era revolusi industry 4.0.

Abstract

Electrical energy is a primary human requirement for continuously operating electronic devices. However, nonrenewable electrical energy is becoming increasingly scarce. As a backup power source, regenerative energy sources are an option. Because the conventional power grid transfer system takes a relatively long time, the application of a control system on the power grid transfer automatically can maximize efficiency, safety, and accuracy. In this study, an ATS system was developed using the electrical grid switching method for 300ms, 600ms, and 1000ms, as well as IoT to optimize the ATS manual override system with monitor voltage, current, and power. The test results show that the switching accuracy of 300ms is 98.40% and 98.18% with an average voltage of 19.65V and 41.22V when switching, 600ms switching is 98.14% and 99.25% with an average voltage of 17.77V and 18.18V when switching, and 1000ms switching is 99.40% and 99.41% with an average voltage of 17.52V and 21.05V, respectively. The voltage overshoot is obtained for 16ms and 40ms in linear loading and is stable within 2ms. There is harmonic distortion when loading non-linear for 9 cycles and 2 cycles of periodic frequency. The hardware data transmission accuracy is 97.94%, and the success rate of manual override is 100%.

Abstract

DC generator with variable rotation will produce uncontrolled voltage, causing problems in its utilization. In this study, it is proposed to develop a voltage control on the generator, in order to produce a fairly controllable and reliable voltage, with an analog circuit using a multistage comparator. Control of the generator output voltage is carried out by adjusting the field current from a separate voltage source which is forwarded to the resistance which is regulated based on the generator output voltage level with a multilevel comparison system. The results obtained are the output voltage ranges from 26 to 30 Volts and the output current ranges from 3 to 20 Amperes. This provides operational safety for the generator and battery. This technology can be used in dc generator systems in automotive engines, windmills, and other power plants.

Abstract

The Ar flow rate effect on the electrical and optical properties of the sputtered Al-doped ZnO thins films were investigated. It was shown that a strong X-ray peak from (002) and (004) planes is dominant, suggesting that most grains have c-axis perpendicular to the substrate surface. The (002)-ZnO and (004)-ZnO peaks were measured at 2q = 34.120, and 71.850, respectively. It was also found that the growth rate of the Al-doped ZnO thin films increases when the sputtering power is increased. The transmittance of these film are strongly dependent on the sputtering power with the maximum transmittance of 92% was obtained at the sputtering power of 150 W and 50 sccm of Ar flow rate. The resistivity of the films is decreases as the Ar flow rate is increased. The lowest resistivity of 9.74 x 10-4 W.cm was obtained at the films with Ar flow rate of 80 sccm. The mobility increases with the Ar flow rate increases. The carrier concentration also indicates the same pattern as the mobility. The transmittance of Al-doped ZnO thin films is also strongly dependent on the Ar flow rate. It was also observed the variation of contact resistivity of Al/Ti/Al to Al-doped n-ZnO thin films. The specific contact resistivity rc of 1.8x10−5 W.cm2 was obtained at 150 nm-thick Al.

Abstract

The development of technology at this time has an important role for all human needs and needs. One of the technologies that are currently developing is technology in the field of transportation. The development of electric vehicles is very relevant to be developed. However, in electric vehicles on the market, the control system used is less than optimal to respond to the load given to electric vehicles, resulting in a decrease in performance and waste of electrical energy. In general, BLDC motors which are often used as control systems use a position sensor (Hall effect sensor) in determining driver commutation. The use of position sensors often results in errors in configuration with the controller, difficulty in installation in case of damage, sensitivity of the sensor to temperature increases and the price of the sensor is relatively expensive. The use of sensorless method with Back EMF detection is an alternative solution to determine inverter commutation on BLDC motors. In this thesis, a BLDC motor speed control is developed which provides optimal, efficient and safe performance. This control system uses driver IC IR2101 and power switching MOSFET IRFZ44N. As a prototype, a 1000KV BLDC motor is used, controlled by an Arduino microcontroller and an ESP32 which is monitored by Blynk. The result achieved is that this system is able to control the rotation of the motor and stabilize the speed when there is a change in load. The efficiency of the no-load system reaches 46.48% and at maximum loading it reaches 36.98%, the best efficiency is obtained in the propeller II loading variation with an efficiency of 86.34%.

Abstract

Variable voltage DC power supply that has wide range of power, lightweight and inexpensive is quite difficult to obtain. This research designs and tests a DC power supply without a transformer using switching technology that utilizes TRIAC. The 220 Volt AC power source is converted to DC electricity by the method of cutting off some AC waves signal, using TRIAC, and then rectifying it with diodes and filters. DIAC functions as a trigger TRIAC at the specified time, by turning the variable resistor. The test results show that the output DC power voltage can be adjusted from 5 Volts to 75 Volts by adjusting the DIAC resistance and the load resistance. The results of the series image characteristics are given 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional graphics.
