Abstract

The design of Ohm’s Law and Kirchoff’s Law trainers is an innovation aimed at improving the effectiveness process, particularly in the subjects of Ohm’s Law and Kirchoff’s Law. This trainer utilizes an AC-to-DC converter module and a DC-to-DC step-down module as the main power supply. The main structure of the trainer is divided into three key parts: the power supply, circuitry, and measurement tools. Ohm’s Law and Kirchoff’s Law are the focus in selecting the material, as they constitute the fundamental laws in electronics. During practical exercises, students often encounter challenges related to neatness, the structure of the materials, and practical tools. The trainer is expected to overcome these issues by providing a more structured and practical environment. By utilizing this trainer, it is expected that students can more easily comprehend and practically apply the concepts of Ohm’s Law and Kirchoff’s Law. Based on the test results, the trainer can provide measurement results that closely approximate accuracy with minimal differences from manual calculations. This indicates that the trainer will provide a consistent, practical experience in line with fundamental electronic principles. Moreover, the learning process can become more organized and efficient, improving the overall quality of learning in the basic electronic law.

Abstract

This study aims to design and develop an Arduino Uno microcontroller-based automated system for controlling lighting and ventilation to minimize energy waste associated with user inattention in deactivating electronic devices. Using a Passive Infrared Receiver (PIR) sensor, the system detects human presence within a room and automatically activates or deactivates lighting and fans, optimizing energy consumption in real-time. The methodology follows the Research and Development (R&D) framework, encompassing four stages: (1) requirement analysis to identify key system functionalities and component specifications, (2) system design using flowcharts and block diagrams to outline hardware-software integration, (3) hardware assembly involving Arduino Uno, PIR sensors, and relay modules, and (4) functional testing for validating system accuracy in real-world conditions, specifically in human detection range and energy efficiency. The results indicate that the proposed system achieves an 8-meter detection range with high accuracy, aligning well with existing technologies in energy management for enclosed spaces. Compared to similar systems that utilize alternative microcontrollers or sensors, the Arduino Uno-based approach offers a cost-effective solution with comparable detection reliability and reduced energy waste, suitable for both residential and small commercial applications. The system’s capability to consistently reduce electricity consumption highlights its practical application in energy-saving initiatives, particularly within the context of increasing global energy demands. This research demonstrates that automated systems using accessible microcontroller technology like Arduino Uno can provide a significant impact in the field of energy-efficient automation.

Abstract

This service program aims to provide an alternative feed for local chickens (Gallus domesticus) with high protein to the Latompe farming community. The alternative feed are maggots which are the larvae of Black Soldier  Flies (Hermetia illucens). It is hoped that the chicken farmers in Latompe village will no longer only depend on carbohydrate-based feed such as corn to obtain maximum chicken growth. To transfer that new technology, the farmer's educators managed a mass socialization and made presentation slides, leaflets, and on-site practice followed by periodic assistance. As a result, the maggot extension program has been running well and several breeders have been able to cultivate maggots for their chickens' feed. It is hoped that this program can be implemented sustainably to obtain maximum production of local chickens.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of compensation and motivation on work productivity at PT. Provices Indonesia Jakarta. both partially and simultaneously. The method used in this study is a quantitative method. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling, which uses a sample of 95 respondents. The data analysis technique used is statistical analysis with validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, simple linear test, multiple linear regression test, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, t test and F test. The results of the study showed that compensation has a significant effect on employee performance partially, indicated by the simple linear regression equation Y = 48.465 + 0.251 Xₗ where the beta coefficient value is positive, which means that if compensation increases, employee work productivity will also increase. This is evidenced by the hypothesis test obtained a calculated t value> t table or (3.514> 1.662) and is reinforced by the ρ value <Sig.0.05 or significance <0.05 (0.000 <0.05). Motivation has a significant effect on employee work productivity partially indicated by the simple linear regression equation Y = 21,400 + 0.686X₂ where the beta coefficient value is positive, which means that if work discipline increases, employee work productivity will also increase. This is evidenced by the results of the hypothesis test obtained a calculated t value> t table or (8,286> 1.662) and is strengthened by the ρ value <Sig.0.05 or a significance value <0.05 (0.000 <0.05). The results of the study of compensation and motivation on employee work productivity are indicated by the multiple linear regression equation Y = 122,981 + 0.072 Xₗ + 0.645 X₂. where the coefficient value is positive, which means that if compensation and motivation increase, employee work productivity will also increase. This is proven by the results of the simultaneous hypothesis test obtained the value of F count > F table (35.095 > 3.10) and strengthened by the significance value < 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05). The results of the coefficient of determination test of the compensation variable (Xₗ) and motivation (X₂) have an influence of 11.7% on employee work productivity at PT. Provices Indonesia Jakarta. Thus H0 is rejected and H3 is accepted. This means that there is a significant simultaneous influence between Compensation (Xₗ) and Motivation (X₂) on employee work productivity (Y).
