Abstract

Salah satu kendala dalam pembelajaran fisika matematik adalah sulitnya mahasiswa memahami konsep-konsep abstrak yang memerlukan penghayalan. Salah satu materi tersebut adalah sistem kordinat bola dan silinder.  Untuk mengatasi hal tersbeut perlu dilakukan penelitian yang bertujuan untuk menghasilkan media interaktif yang dapat memvisualisasikan materi tersebut dan dapat digunakan secara mandiri oleh mahasiswa. Media tersebut adalah Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Audio-Visual . Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahap, namun dalam penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap ke-tiga (Pengembangan). Produk yang telah dihasilkan kemudian divalidasi oleh 3 orang ahli untuk menentukan kelayakan berdasarkan penilain ahli. Kemudian dilakukan uji coba terbatas pada 6 mahasiswa untuk mengetahui respon mereka terhadap produk penelitian dan menjadi salah satu acuan dalam perbaikan produk. Penilaian oleh ahli menunjukkan produk Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Audio-Visual sangat layak yang ditandai dengan skor persentasi 92,66%. Selain itu, persepsi mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan Media Pembelajaran Berbasis Audio-Visual berada pada nilai 84,3% dengan kategori baik

Abstract

This study aims to (1) implement the Guided Discovery Learning Model Assisted Video and Interactive Simulation (GDM-VIS) in physics learning on the concept of statistical fluids; (2) identify the relationship between students’ motivation and learning outcomes. This research is a pre-experimental research employing One Shoot Case Study design. The learning model and instruments that have been developed were used in a class of 38 students before the distance learning was applied. The data of learning motivation were obtained through motivation questionnaire, while learning outcome data were obtained by means of a conceptual understanding test instrument. To see whether there is a correlation between students’ motivation and learning outcomes, the Bivariate Pearson analysis with SPSS was used. Based on the results of the analysis, the value obtained based on the value or relationship (R) was 0.613. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination (R Square) was 0.375, meaning that the effect of learning motivation with the application of GDM-VIS toward concept understanding is 37.5%. Based on the Output Coefficients, decision making in a simple regression test, and based on the significance value of the Coefficients table, it was obtained that the significance value was 0.00 0.05, which means that the application of the Guided Discovery Learning Model Assisted with Video and Interactive Simulation affects the students’ concept understanding. This study implies that the learning using simulations with systematic stages can improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran daring membuat kegiatan praktikum tidak dapat terlaksana. Salah satu cara mengatasi masalah ini adalah dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis laboratrorium virtual melalui program PKM yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan dan mengimplementasikan perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual dan menggunakan blended learning. Program pelatihan terstruktur dilakukan secara kolaborasi antara dosen dari Program Studi Fisika FMIPA Universitas Muslim Maros dengan guru-guru IPA di SMA Islam Athirah 1 Makassar. Pelatihan ini sebagai metode yang tepat untuk mencapai tujuan PKM dengan langkah-langkah sebagai berikut: (i) orientasi guru terhadap perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual dan blended learning, (ii) mempresentasi/demonstrasi, perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual, (iii) memberikan latihan terbimbing kepada guru cara mengembangka dan menerapkan perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual dan blended learning pada 1 (satu) kelas, (iv) memberikan latihan mandiri kepada guru untuk mengembangkan dan mengemplementasikan perangkat pembelajaran laboratorium virtual pada beberapa kelas. Diakhir kegiatan para peserta diberi angket mengenai penilaian mereka terhadap kegiatan PKM yang telah berlangsung

Abstract

Study about utilization of interactive multimedia simulation as a learning media on physics learning is very crucial. Currently, the use of interactive simulations with various learning methods has been widely used.This study aims to identify achievement and learning activity of physics teacher candidate by harnessing Technology Enabled Active Learning Simulation (TEALSim) on physics concept. The research type is Pre-Experimental with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The subject of the study was 41 student of physics education department at Universitas Negeri Makassar. Data analysis of this study using descriptive and quantitative analysis for research result. The results of the study revealed that there is a significant improvement on before and after giving treatment where the value of N-Gain is mayority on “enough” category by 73,09%. This indicate that the implementation of TEALSim can enhance of student’s achievement in Physics Education Department. Beside of that, according to result of student’s activity analysis, the average is above 80% that is on “very good” category which means that students are very active on doing learning of physics by the utilization of TEALSim

Abstract

Currently, teachers are required not only to be able to master the content of the subjects being taught but also to be able to develop various digital-based learning media such as websites. Currently, the majority of teachers have been able to use learning websites, but there are still very few who are able to create and manage their own learning websites. Therefore, this study aims to determine whether the application of the Gold Standard Project Based Learning (GS-PjBL) in the form of training and mentoring is able to encourage teachers to be able to develop learning websites. The implementation of GS-PjBL consists of 7 stages, namely (1) Problems and challenges, (2) Study and development, (3) Testing, (4) Role enhancement, (5) Reflection, (6) Revision, (7) Product publication. . Based on the evaluation results obtained information that there is 1 group has been able to develop and complete a learning website, and the other group has been able to make menu settings on the theme, and install and choose a theme and complete the selection of hosting services. In addition, as an evaluation material, at the end of the activity, participants also filled out a satisfaction questionnaire with the ongoing GS-PjBL model of training and mentoring activities. Based on the response analysis, participants' satisfaction above 79% is in the good category. This shows that participants are satisfied with the activities they have received even though there are some shortcomings.

Abstract

This study aims to measure the level of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL), conceptual understanding and identify an increase in conceptual understanding after using LVL-BOT. This type of research is Pre-Experimental with One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research sample consisted of 37 students from physics classes who took modern physics courses. Students’ level of Self-Regulated Learning is administered using a questionnaire, and understanding of concepts is administered using a test. Based on the analysis results, the percentage level of Self-Regulated Learning is at a value of 87.7%, which is included in the very high category. There is a significant difference between the mean pre-test and post-test mean. The N-Gain Values of Photoelectric Effect and Black Body Radiation are 0.47 and 0.57, respectively. This shows an increase in student’s conceptual understanding, which is “enough” after using LVL-BOT.

Abstract

Motivation is a series of attitudes and values that influence individuals to achieve specific things according to individual goals that can be obtained from within oneself, the people around them, and the environment. The purpose of this research is to identify how the influence of the characteristics possessed by a teacher on the motivation and learning patterns of vocational students in remote areas. The type of research used was a mix-method, with a sample of 29 vocational students in one of the districts of West Halmahera. Data analysis is quantitative data from observation, questionnaires, and in-depth interviews. Based on the results of the study, various information was obtained, namely, the characteristics possessed by the teacher incredibly had an influence on student motivation and learning patterns. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to test the effectiveness of educational game-based digital learning media in improving grade IV elementary school English learning outcomes. The pre-experimental design and One Group Pretest-Posttest were used in this study with a sample of 20 students in a school in Makassar. Pretests and posttests are given to learners to obtain data on improving learning outcomes, which are then analyzed using t-tests and N-Gain. The results showed that there was a significant difference in test results between pretest and posttest seen from the sig.2-tailed value of 0.000, where this result was smaller than 0.05. In addition, an N-Gain of 0.49 indicates a moderate category and indicates that the trial of educational game-based digital learning media can improve student learning outcomes. Educational games can be used as an effective learning medium in the learning process and need to be developed in a better direction. Keywords: Learning Media, Educational Games, Learning Outcomes.

Abstract

One way to improve the quality of learning today is the use of various types of digital media in learning properly and correctly, which is known as school digitization. To support this program, it is necessary to carry out various activities for teachers to be able to improve their index and digital literacy skills. This study aims to find out how the index level and digital literacy skills of teachers after being given training and assistance with the Gold Standard Project Based Learning (GS-PjBL) model. The study was conducted on 20 teachers who participated in online and offline education and training activities. The research data was taken using two google form-based questionnaires, namely (i) a digital literacy index questionnaire, (ii) a digital literacy skills questionnaire given before and after training and mentoring activities. Based on the results of the analysis, there was an increase in the percentage of the digital literacy index before and after the activity which was marked by the Gain value. Based on the results of the analysis, the increase in the digital literacy index is in the medium and low categories. Therefore, the impact is seen that there is an increase in the index and literacy skills of the teacher group in Makassar City after participating in training and mentoring activities with the GS-PjBL model.

Abstract

The effect of the spread of the Coronavirus 2019 has an impact on the implementation of face-to-face learning to distance learning. So that the learning that applies in Indonesia today needs to be supported by the right technology and supporting teaching materials. The selection of appropriate and interesting media will have a good impact on the quality of distance learning. This study aims to determine students' perceptions of the use of Technology-Enabled Active Learning Simulation (TEALSim) which is rich in interactive simulations and videos in physics learning and to determine the correlation between student perceptions of learning outcomes. With 26 students as respondents who were selected by random sampling. After using TEALSim, students fill out a questionnaire via google form that has been developed and validated by experts and then students take a concept understanding test. Based on the analysis, it shows that the majority of students have a perception with a percentage above 80% which is in the good category and in general is in the very good category. Besides, there is a good correlation between student perceptions and learning outcome data which is indicated by a correlation value of 0.7.
