Abstract

Strategi pembelajaran sangat penting terutama dalam konteks pendidikan anak tuna grahita di SLB. Strategi pembelajaran yang efektif membantu mengatasi tantangan pada pembelajaran serta memastikan bahwa anak menerima pendidikan yang berkualitas, yang merupakan fondasi masa depan bagi mereka. Penelitian ini dilakukan bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan oleh SLB-C Widya Bhakti Kota Semarang. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara yang mendalam dan dianalisis menggunakan metode triangulasi dengan subjek penelitian yaitu guru kelas dan salah satu siswa tunagrahita. Berdasarkan dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi yang diterapkan pada pembelajaran anak tunagrahita didasarkan oleh tantangan pembelajaran yang dialami. Strategi pembelajaran anak tunagrahita yang diterapkan oleh SLB-C Widya Bhakti adalah metode ceramah dan pengulangan, pendekatan secara individual, metode pengajaran dengan menggunakan benda konkret, serta pendekatan sosial dan emosional siswa

Abstract

This community service is carried out at STIT Muara Enim in the form of a workshop, which aims to increase students' understanding of scientific research methodology. The target to be achieved through this activity is to increase the skills of STIT Muara Enim students in compiling thesis writing, as a student's final project. The implementation of the workshop is divided into four stages, namely: 1) the preparation stage, 2) the implementation stage, 3) the evaluation stage, and 4) the reporting stage. This activity went well and smoothly in accordance with the stages arranged in the schedule for the implementation of the activity. This can be seen from the achievement of the training objectives and enthusiasm, as well as the activeness of the participants in the workshop activities. The results achieved through this workshop are very significant towards increasing the understanding of STIT Muara Enim students towards the methodology of writing scientific papers, which positively indicates an improvement in student skills in compiling thesis writing. The results of the evaluation of this activity show that there are several factors that support the implementation of the activity, namely: 1) the existence of good cooperation and full support from partners related to the provision of facilities and infrastructure; 2) the existence of procedures in the implementation of workshop activities; and 3) the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the workshop activities. In addition to these supporting factors, there are also factors that hinder the implementation of activities, namely limited activity time that cannot satisfy all participants present. Abstrak Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksankan di STIT Muara Enim dalam bentuk workshop, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang metodologi penelitian ilmiah. Target yang ingin dicapai melalui kegiatan ini yaitu meningkatnya keterampilan mahasiswa STIT Muara Enim dalam menyusun penulisan skripsi, sebagai tugas akhir mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan workshop dibagi dalam empat tahap, yaitu: 1) tahap persiapan, 2) tahap pelaksanaan, 3) tahap evaluasi, dan 4) tahap pelaporan. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik dan lancar sesuai dengan tahapan-tahapan yang disusun dalam jadwal pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut. Hal ini terlihat dari ketercapaian terhadap tujuan pelatihan dan antusiasme, serta keaktifan peserta dalam kegiatan workshop. Hasil evaluasi terhadap kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang mendukung terlaksananya kegiatan, yaitu: 1) adanya kerja sama yang baik dan dukungan penuh dari mitra terkait penyediaan sarana dan prasarana; 2) adanya prosedur dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop; dan 3) antusiasme peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan workshop. Di samping faktor pendukung tersebut, terdapat juga faktor penghambat pelaksanaan kegiatan, yaitu keterbatasan waktu kegiatan yang tidak dapat memuaskan semua peserta yang hadir. Hasil yang dicapai melalui workshop ini sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa STIT Muara Enim terhadap metodologi penulisan karya ilmiah, yang secara positif berindikasi pada peningkatan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menyusun penulisan skripsi.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in addition and subtraction arithmetic operations material, and the learning model used was not centered on the students. This research aims to increase knowledge of improving students' learning outcomes in addition and subtraction arithmetic operations material using the TGT-type cooperative learning model. The subjects in this research were 24 class II students at SDN Kalisari 1 Sayung Demak. This research is classroom action research carried out in two cycles, namely Cycle I and Cycle II, where each cycle consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The instruments of this research are documents and tests. Data collection techniques using documentation and tests. The data analysis technique uses qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis. Qualitative and quantitative descriptions in this research are used to describe improvements in student learning outcomes. The research results increased the average score of students from 55.71 in the pre-cycle to 66.58 in cycle I and then rose to 87.5 in cycle II. This increase occurred because the TGT model encouraged students to become more enthusiastic and active during the learning process, which contributed to improving their learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the use of the TGT cooperative learning model with the support of gap board media has succeeded in improving student learning outcomes

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka menekankan pada pembelajaran yang relevan dengan karakteristik, kebutuhan, dan budaya peserta didik. Namun, hasil observasi di kelas 5 SDN Kalisari 1 Sayung, Demak menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran masih konvensional dan kurang mengintegrasikan budaya peserta didik. Hal ini memicu kurangnya motivasi belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui implementasi Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) untuk memotivasi belajar peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis studi kasus deskriptif kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Reduksi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) mampu mengatasi permasalahan pembelajaran yang konvensional dan monoton menjadi pembelajaran yang lebih menyenangkan, bermakna, dan terintegrasi dengan budaya peserta didik. Selain itu, pembelajaran dengan Numbered Heads Together (NHT) berbasis Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dapat memotivasi belajar peserta didik dengan ditandai dengan keaktifan dalam pembelajaran, terlibat dalam diskusi kelompok, percaya diri atas kemampuannya, ketekunan dalam mengerjakan tugas, dan tidak mudah menyerah dalam menghadapi kesulitan.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors contributing to reading difficulties among first-grade students at MI Hijriyah II Palembang, the efforts made by teachers to overcome them, and the challenges faced. Using a descriptive qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation, the study found that students’ reading difficulties are influenced by physiological, intellectual, environmental, socio-economic, and psychological factors. Teachers at MI Hijriyah II Palembang have implemented various effective strategies, including the use of picture/flash word cards, additional reading lessons, the provision of engaging books, game-based methods, group and individual guidance, a “classroom workshop,” word-by-word reading support, selection of books according to reading level, visual aids, creative ways of introducing letters, regular book reading sessions, parent collaboration, as well as motivation and rewards. However, teachers face challenges such as diverse student characteristics, lack of learning motivation, low comprehension levels, and limited time. This study highlights the need for a holistic approach to addressing reading difficulties, involving diverse interventions and close collaboration between teachers and parents.

Abstract

Kurikulum Merdeka emphasizes learning that is relevant to the characteristics, needs, and culture of students. However, the results of observations in class 5 of SDN Kalisari 1 Sayung, Demak showed that learning was still conventional and did not integrate the culture of students. This triggers a lack of student learning motivation. This study aims to determine the implementation of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) to motivate student learning in elementary schools. This study uses a qualitative descriptive case study type. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Data reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) is able to overcome conventional and monotonous learning problems into learning that is more enjoyable, meaningful, and integrated with the culture of students. In addition, learning with Numbered Heads Together (NHT) based on Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) can motivate student learning as indicated by activeness in learning, involvement in group discussions, confidence in their abilities, perseverance in doing assignments, and not giving up easily when facing difficulties.

Abstract

Scientific publication is one of the activities that teachers must carry out in continuous professional development activities as a condition for promotion to functional positions. Therefore, it is important for teachers to be able to publish their scientific work in OJS-based national journals. The aim of the training by the Mathematics Education Study Program service team at Universitas Islam Sultan Agung is to increase the professionalism of teachers at SD N 02 Tambakrejo Gayamsari through the publication of scientific works in OJS-based national journals. The output of service activities is that the teachers of SD N 02 Tambakrejo Gayamsari have the ability to publish scientific works in OJS-based national journals so that later they can increase the teacher's credit score for promotion to functional positions. Activities were carried out offline at SD N 02 Tambakrejo Gayamsari. The training implementation method includes lectures, demonstrations, questions and answers, practice and assistance to teachers at SD N 02 Tambakrejo Gayamsari in the process of publishing scientific articles in OJS-based national journals. Training participants actively participated in activities from start to finish and participants gave positive responses to the implementation of service activities.

Abstract

This study discusses the challenges of low early literacy skills in first-grade students at MI Assegaf Palembang, exacerbated by monotonous teaching methods and minimal use of engaging media. The aim of the research is to develop and evaluate picture and color-coded syllable flashcard media to improve students' reading and writing abilities. The study uses a Research and Development (R&D) approach with the ADDIE model, involving all first-grade students as a saturated sample. Data were collected through expert validation questionnaires, student response surveys, pretest-posttest instruments, and documentation. Quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted to assess the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The results show that the flashcard media is highly valid (average expert score of 98.1%), highly practical (student response of 96.8%), and significantly improves students' reading and writing abilities, as evidenced by posttest scores exceeding the minimum completeness criteria. In conclusion, the developed flashcard media is effective and recommended for early literacy learning.

Abstract

This study discusses the impact of the implementation of the Two Stay Two Stray model on students' learning outcomes in Mathematics in grade IV at SDN 1 Pulau Beringin, Oku Selatan. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the application of the Two Stay Two Stray model on students' learning outcomes in Mathematics in grade IV at SDN 1 Pulau Beringin, Oku Selatan. This study uses an experimental research design with a quantitative approach, involving treatment. The design used is the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population of this study consists of all children at SDN 1 Pulau Beringin, while the sample is grade IV students, totaling 28 students, with proportional sampling technique. Learning outcomes were measured using a student test instrument, while validity was determined using Pearson's Product Moment correlation and reliability using Cronbach's Alpha. Data analysis prerequisites included the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, while hypothesis testing used the Paired Sample T-Test. The results indicate that the application of the Two Stay Two Stray model has an impact on students' learning outcomes in Mathematics in grade IV at SDN 1 Pulau Beringin. The effect of this media is seen from the hypothesis test results. At a 5% significance level, it is proven that there is an influence of the Two Stay Two Stray model on students' learning outcomes, as indicated by the calculated t-value > t-table. Therefore, the null hypothesis is rejected, meaning the alternative hypothesis is accepted, and it can be concluded that the Two Stay Two Stray model affects students' learning outcomes.

Abstract

Latar Belakang : Banyak siswa sekolah dasar khususnya kelas 1 yang belum bisa membaca bahkan ada juga yang belum mengenal huruf. Padahal membaca adalah langkah awal untuk meraih Pendidikan. Kemampuan membaca permulaan pada siswa kelas dasar sangat penting karena dapat berpengaruh pada proses Pendidikan. Tujuan : Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa ketika disajikan model pembelajaran berdifferensiasi dan media buku bergambar alam sekitar. Selain itu tujuan lainnya yaitu untuk mengajak para pengajar supaya menciptakan pembelajaran yang inovatif dan kreatif supaya siswa tidak bosan dan tetap emangat dalam belajar, salah satu model pembelajarannya adalah berdifferensiasi dan media buku bergambar alam sekitar. Metode : Metode penelitian ini ialah menggunakan pre eksperimen design one group dalam bentuk pre test dan post test. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Rowosari 01 yang berjumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sample yaitu dengan sampling jenuh. Instrumen penelitian ini menggunakan tes kemampuan membaca dalam bentuk pilihan ganda. Teknik analisis data yaitu meliputi uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji daya pembeda tingkat kesukaran, uji normalitas dan uji paired sample t-test. Hasil dan Pembahasan : Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa model pembelajaran berdifferensiasi berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Rowosari 01. Hal demikian dapat dilihat dari nilai rata-rata pre test yaitu 50,72 dan nilai rata-rata post test siswa yaitu 75,76. Hasil uji paired sample t-test didapat nilai sig.0,000 yang artinya Ha diterima dan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari penggunaan model berdifferensiasi terhadap kemampuan membaca permulaan siswa kelas 1 SD Negeri Rowosari 01. Kesimpulan : Siswa termotivasi dan merasa semangat dengan adanya model pembelajaran berdifferensiasi dan media buku bergambar alam sekitar. Karena dengan adanya itu pembelajaran tidak monoton dan terasa menarik. Oleh karena itu, diharapkan bagi guru untuk menciptakan model pembelajaran dan media yang inovatif dan kreatif supaya siswa dapat termotivasi dan tidak bosan ketika proses belajar mengajar dilaksanakan. Karena penggunaan model pembelajaran dan media sangat berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa.
