Abstract

ABSTRACT The advancement of information and communication technology has significantly impacted various sectors, particularly healthcare. Mobile health (mHealth) applications, particularly those offering telemedicine, are emerging as tools to provide accessible healthcare services remotely. This study focuses on the factors influencing the implementation of mHealth applications for telemedicine among young adults in Mataram, Indonesia. The purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that influence the adoption of mobile health applications for telemedicine among young adults in Mataram, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). A quantitative research design was used, involving a survey of young adults (aged 18-40 years) in Mataram who have used telemedicine applications. The data was collected using a structured questionnaire with Likert scale items to measure perceptions of usefulness, ease of use, and other factors as per the TAM framework. The study found that perceived usefulness and ease of use were significant predictors of the intention to use telemedicine applications among young adults in Mataram. Social influence and trust also played crucial roles in enhancing the adoption of telemedicine. The findings suggest that improving the usability and highlighting the benefits of telemedicine applications, along with addressing privacy concerns, could facilitate wider adoption among young adults in Mataram. Keywords: Mobile Health, Telemedicine, Technology Acceptance Model, Young Adults, Mataram.  ABSTRAK Perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi telah membawa dampak besar dalam berbagai sektor, termasuk kesehatan. Aplikasi mobile health (mHealth), khususnya yang menawarkan telemedicine, semakin muncul sebagai solusi untuk memberikan layanan kesehatan jarak jauh yang lebih mudah diakses. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi implementasi aplikasi mobile health untuk telemedicine di kalangan dewasa awal di Kota Mataram, Indonesia. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi aplikasi mobile health untuk telemedicine di kalangan dewasa awal di Kota Mataram dengan menggunakan pendekatan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuantitatif dengan survei pada dewasa awal (usia 18-40 tahun) yang telah menggunakan aplikasi telemedicine. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan kuesioner terstruktur dengan skala Likert untuk mengukur persepsi kegunaan, kemudahan penggunaan, dan faktor lainnya sesuai dengan kerangka teori TAM. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa persepsi kegunaan dan kemudahan penggunaan merupakan prediktor signifikan dari niat menggunakan aplikasi telemedicine di kalangan dewasa awal di Mataram. Pengaruh sosial dan kepercayaan juga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan adopsi telemedicine. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meningkatkan kemudahan penggunaan dan menyoroti manfaat aplikasi telemedicine, serta mengatasi kekhawatiran terkait privasi, dapat mempercepat adopsi di kalangan dewasa awal di Mataram. Kata Kunci: Mobile Health, Telemedicine, Technology Acceptance Model, Dewasa Awal, Mataram.

Abstract

Infeksi virus dengue menyebabkan demam berdarah dengue (DBD) yang merupakan penyakit akut.  Manifestasi klinisnya ditandai dengan perdarahan yang dapat mengakibatkan syok bahkan kematian jika tidak ditangani dengan baik.  Nyamuk Aedes aegypti, pembawa virus demam berdarah, menyebarkan penyakit ini ke orang lain.  Di Indonesia, upaya pencegahan penyakit demam berdarah difokuskan pada pemberantasan sarang nyamuk dengan menerapkan kegiatan 3M Plus (Mengeringkan, Menutup dan Mengubur ditambah kegiatan tambahan lainnya).  Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan masyarakat tentang penerapan metode 3M Plus untuk mengurangi risiko tertular penyakit demam berdarah.  Metode yang digunakan adalah pengukuran melalui pre-test dan post-test yang kemudian direkapitulasi dan diuji dengan menggunakan uji t berpasangan.  Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan pendidikan.  Pada saat pre test tingkat pengetahuannya hanya 60%, namun setelah diberikan edukasi dan pelaksanaan post test tingkat pengetahuannya meningkat menjadi 91%.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pendidikan yang diberikan dengan peningkatan pengetahuan remaja dengan hasil p<0,005.  Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penyuluhan yang diberikan kepada remaja sekolah efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuannya tentang pencegahan penyakit DBD melalui penerapan 3M Plus.

Abstract

The focus of the global problem that is of concern both in the world and in Indonesia is the HIV/AIDS case, that reported HIV/AIDS cases in districts/cities in Indonesia were 22,331 HIV cases and 4,534 AIDS cases. Meanwhile in NTB in 2022, there were 1471 accumulated AIDS cases and the addition of 192 new cases, in Central Lombok Regency there were 378 HIV cases and 220 AIDS cases as of September 2022, as well as 211 HIV cases in the MSM group. The strategy determined was to carry out in-depth interviews using the Snow Ball method with 4 informants, namely the VCT/KTH Mandalika Team at Praya Regional Hospital, Management at Praya Regional Hospital, MSM Clients at KTH at Praya Regional Hospital and the HIV Program Holder of the Central Lombok District Health Service. Test the validity of the data with Credibility, Continuous Observation, Triangulation, Transferability, Depreciability, Confirmability. This research has received ethical approval from the Ethics Committee of Qamarul Huda Badaruddin Bagu University with Number: 022/EC/FKES-UNIQHBA/YPPQH/VIII/2023. Management of HIV/AIDS Prevention Services in the MSM Group at KTH Mandalika RSUD Praya still needs to improve the effectiveness of HIV/AIDS prevention, more intensive strategic planning is needed to overcome the increase in HIV prevalence, involving an approach through a TEAM of Field Officers in providing more effective education and social support through VCT services and hotline counseling. Coordination and a stable organizational structure in KTH Mandalika RSUD Praya cannot be ignored, so that response efforts can run more focused. Staff training and development, especially those related to handling PLWHA, needs to be based on objective selection and unit needs, while the use of information technology, such as the SIHA 2.1 application and RS SIM, can be improved to ensure accurate recording and reporting. Management of BHP and ARV availability needs to be optimized through efficient coordination with the District and Provincial Health Services, and regular evaluations need to be carried out to increase distribution efficiency. Implementing the recommendations from 4 informants can have a significant positive impact in managing the management of HIV/AIDS prevention services at KTH Mandalika RSUD Praya, so as to reduce HIV transmission, and provide better support to PLWHA in the MSM community..

Abstract

ABSTRACT Hypertension is a medical condition in which a person's blood pressure consistently remains above normal levels. In Southeast Asia, the prevalence of hypertension ranges between 36-42%, with Indonesia being one of the countries in the region with a high prevalence. The level of knowledge and understanding among hypertension patients regarding their condition plays a crucial role in the success of hypertension management, enabling better blood pressure control. The better patients understand their disease, the more aware they become of maintaining a healthy lifestyle, adhering to medication schedules, and improving compliance.This study aims to identify the factors associated with the incidence of hypertension among the productive-age population in the working area of Puskesmas Kediri, West Lombok. This research is a quantitative analytical study with a cross-sectional design. A total of 100 respondents were selected using a simple random sampling method. The study results indicate that 60 respondents (60%) had hypertension, while 40 respondents (40%) did not. Furthermore, 48 respondents (48%) had adequate knowledge about hypertension, 52 respondents (52%) had a family history of hypertension, and 47 respondents (47%) were classified as overweight. Statistical analysis using the Chi-Square test at a significance level of α (0.05) revealed a significant relationship between knowledge level, family history, and nutritional status with the incidence of hypertension in the productive-age group. Additionally, multivariate logistic regression analysis identified family history and respondents' knowledge as the dominant factors contributing to the condition. Keywords:Virtual Reality, Knowledge, Family History, and Nutritional Status.  ABSTRAK Hipertensi merupakan suatu kondisi medis di mana tekanan darah seseorang secara konsisten berada di atas tingkat normal. Di Asia Tenggara, prevalensi hipertensi berkisar antara 36-42%, dengan Indonesia menjadi salah satu negara di kawasan ini yang memiliki prevalensi hipertensi yang tinggi. Tingkat pengetahuan dan pemahaman pasien hipertensi mengenai kondisi mereka dapat mendukung keberhasilan tentang hipertensi, sehingga memungkinkan kontrol tekanan darah yang lebih baik. Semakin baik pemahaman pasien tentang penyakitnya, semakin sadar mereka dalam menjaga gaya hidup sehat, mematuhi jadwal pengobatan, dan meningkatkan kepatuhan mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian hipertensi pada populasi usia produktif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Kediri, Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini merupakan studi analitik kuantitatif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sebanyak 100 responden Dipilih dengan metode pengambilan sampel acak sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari 100 responden yang diteliti, 60 responden (60%) mengalami hipertensi, sementara 40 responden (40%) tidak. Tingkat pengetahuan tentang hipertensi ditemukan pada 48 responden (48%), riwayat keluarga dengan hipertensi terdapat pada 52 responden (52%), dan 47 responden (47%) diklasifikasikan sebagai overweight. Analisis statistik yang dilakukan menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat signifikansi α (0,05) menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pengetahuan, riwayat keluarga, dan status gizi dengan kejadian hipertensi pada kelompok usia produktif. Selain itu, hasil dari analisis regresi logistik multivariat mengindikasikan bahwa riwayat keluarga dan tingkat pengetahuan responden merupakan faktor dominan yang berkontribusi terhadap kondisi tersebut. Kata Kunci: Pengetahuan, Riwayat Keluarga, Status Gizi

Abstract

ABSTRACT Patient satisfaction is an important indicator in assessing the quality of health services, especially for BPJS Kesehatan participants who have wide access to service facilities. However, the level of patient satisfaction at the UPTB BLUD Aik Mual Health Center has not reached the optimal standard, so it requires an evaluation of the factors that influence this satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the determinant factors related to the level of patient satisfaction of BPJS Kesehatan participants at the UPT BLUD Aik Mual Health Center in 2024. This s tudy used a cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. involving 99 respondents selected through the purposive sampling method. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using bivariate (Chi-Square) and multivariate (regression, multiple logistic) tests. The results of the study showed that several variables had a significant relationship with patient satisfaction, namely Type of Service (p = 0.002; OR = 11.481), completion time (p = 0.003; OR 10.549) and completeness of Facilities and Infrastructure (p = 0.024; OR0.189). From the results of the regression, multiple logistic, Type of Service and completion time are the factors that most influence patient satisfaction. with the chance of dissatisfaction 11 and 10 times greater if the Type of Service and completion time do not match, Other factors, such as facilities and infrastructure, also contribute to the level of satisfaction, although not as strong as the main factor. Concluded that increasing patient satisfaction can be achieved by improving the completion time of services, simplifying administrative requirements, and increasing the competence of health workers. The implications of this study provide strategic recommendations for the Aik Mual Health Center to optimize services based on patient need.  Keywords: Patient Satisfaction. BPJS Kesehatan, Determinant of Satisfaction With the Time of Completion of Health Services.  ABSTRAK Kepuasan pasien adalah salah satu indikator yang sangat penting dalam menilai kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, terutama bagi peserta BPJS Kesehatan yang memiliki akses luas terhadap berbagai fasilitas. Namun, tingkat kepuasan pasien di UPTD BLUD Puskesmas Aik Mual masih belum memenuhi standar optimal. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan evaluasi terhadap berbagai faktor yang dapat memengaruhi kepuasan pasien di sana. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor determinan yang berhubungan dengan tingkat kepuasan pasien peserta BPJS Kesehatan di UPTD BLUD Puskesmas Aik Mual pada tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, melibatkan 99 responden yang dipilih melalui metode purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner terstruktur dan dianalisis dengan uji bivariat (Chi-Square) serta multivariat (regresi logistik berganda). Menunjukkan bahwa beberapa variabel memiliki hubungan signifikan Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beberapa variabel memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan kepuasan pasien, antara lain Jenis Pelayanan (p = 0,002; OR = 11,481), waktu penyelesaian (p = 0,003; OR = 10,549), dan kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana (p = 0,024; OR = 0,189). Dari analisis regresi logistik berganda, ditemukan bahwa Jenis Pelayanan dan waktu penyelesaian adalah faktor utama yang paling memengaruhi kepuasan pasien. Peluang ketidakpuasan pasien meningkat 11 dan 10 kali lipat apabila Jenis Pelayanan dan waktu penyelesaian tidak sesuai. Faktor lain, seperti sarana dan prasarana, juga berkontribusi terhadap tingkat kepuasan, meskipun pengaruhnya tidak sekuat faktor utama. Untuk meningkatkan kepuasan pasien, perlu dilakukan perbaikan dalam waktu penyelesaian pelayanan, penyederhanaan persyaratan administrasi, serta peningkatan kompetensi tenaga kesehatan. Implikasi dari penelitian ini memberikan rekomendasi strategis bagi UPTD BLUD Puskesmas Aik Mual dalam mengoptimalkan pelayanan yang berbasis pada kebutuhan pasien. Kata Kunci: Kepuasan Pasien, BPJS Kesehatan, Determinan Kepuasan, Waktu Penyelesaian, Pelayanan Kesehatan.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify biological and contextual determinants influencing maternal referral delays at Praya Regional Hospital, Central Lombok Regency. Referral delays significantly contributed to increased risks of maternal complications and mortality, particularly in areas with limited access to healthcare services. A quantitative cross-sectional design was used, and the sample included 95 pregnant women referred to Praya Hospital. Data were obtained through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using Chi-Square tests and binary logistic regression to determine associations between variables and to identify the most dominant factor. The analysis showed that administrative barriers had a significant association with referral delays (p = 0.001), while other variables such as trust (p = 0.383), healthcare provider readiness (p = 0.084), and indirect costs (p = 0.005) showed no significant associations. Administrative barriers were identified as the strongest determinant, with an odds ratio (OR) of 8.037 (95% CI: 3.044–21.221; p = 0.000). To accelerate maternal referral processes, simplifying administrative procedures and implementing digital systems such as SISRUTE were strongly recommended. Further studies are recommended to evaluate the effectiveness of technology-based referral system reforms in reducing maternal mortality rates, especially in resource-limited settings.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Stunting is a global health issue impacting children's physical growth and cognitive development. In Indonesia, stunting rates remain high, particularly in West Nusa Tenggara Province. Infant massage is recognized as a physical stimulation technique potentially contributing to enhanced infant growth. This study aimed to analyze the effects of infant massage on infant growth, specifically weight gain, and its potential for reducing stunting risk at Awet Muda Hospital, Narmada, West Lombok. This quasi-experimental study utilized a one-group pretest-posttest design involving 305 infants born at Awet Muda Hospital from December 2024 to March 2025. Respondents meeting inclusion criteria (healthy and willing to receive massage) underwent infant massage based on a guided massage application module. Infant weight was measured pre- and post-intervention. Data analysis involved descriptive statistics and Chi-Square tests. Infant massage significantly improved infant weight (p-value = 0.000). Pregnancy complications significantly impacted infant health (p-value = 0.000), whereas maternal age (p-value = 0.440), maternal education (p-value = 0.086), and number of pregnancies (p-value = 0.599) showed no significant effects. Infant massage effectively enhances infant growth, particularly weight gain, potentially reducing stunting. Infant massage could serve as an effective preventive intervention supporting infant health, especially in regions with high stunting prevalence. Keywords: Infant, Growth, Massage, Stunting.  ABSTRAK Stunting merupakan masalah kesehatan global yang berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik dan perkembangan kognitif pada anak. Di Indonesia, pada tahun 2023 angka stunting masih tinggi dengan prevalensi 21,5%, sedangkan di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) kejadian stunting tercatat lebih tinggi di angka 24.5%. Pijat bayi dikenal sebagai salah satu teknik stimulasi fisik yang dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan pertumbuhan bayi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh pijat bayi terhadap peningkatan pertumbuhan bayi, khususnya dalam meningkatkan berat badan, dan menghubungkannya dengan potensi penurunan risiko stunting di RS Awet Muda Narmada, Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan one group pretest-posttest design, melibatkan 305 bayi yang lahir di Rumah Sakit Awet Muda Narmada pada bulan Desember 2024 hingga Maret 2025. Responden yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi (bayi sehat dan bersedia dipijat) mendapatkan intervensi pijat bayi selama masa perawatan di Rumah Sakit berlangsung sesuai modul panduan pijat bayi. Berat badan bayi diukur sebelum dan sesudah intervensi. Analisis data menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pijat bayi memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan berat badan bayi dengan p-value sebesar 0,000, menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan. Komplikasi kehamilan ditemukan memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kesehatan bayi dengan p-value sebesar 0,000, sementara usia ibu (p-value = 0,440), pendidikan ibu (p-value = 0,086), dan jumlah kehamilan (p-value = 0,599) tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan. Pijat bayi terbukti meningkatkan pertumbuhan bayi, khususnya dalam meningkatkan berat badan, yang dapat berkontribusi pada pencegahan stunting. Pijat bayi dapat menjadi salah satu intervensi preventif yang efektif dalam mendukung kesehatan bayi, terutama di daerah dengan prevalensi stunting yang tinggi. Kata Kunci: Bayi, Pertumbuhan, Pijat, Stunting.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the impact of employee performance appraisal systems on healthcare service quality in hospitals. A systematic literature review was conducted by analyzing 12 peer-reviewed articles published between 2020 and 2025, selected from prominent academic databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and ScienceDirect. These articles were reviewed based on their relevance to the relationship between performance appraisals and healthcare quality. The review identified that well-structured performance appraisal systems significantly contribute to enhancing employee motivation, which directly influences the overall quality of healthcare services. Transparent, objective, and fair appraisal systems, when implemented effectively, help align employee goals with organizational objectives, leading to better patient care. However, the study also highlighted several challenges, including bureaucratic barriers, a lack of evaluator training, and cultural misalignment, which hinder the successful implementation of these systems in hospitals. Additionally, the review found that performance appraisals, when conducted periodically with constructive feedback, encourage continuous professional development and improve service delivery. The study concluded that for a performance appraisal system to be truly effective, it must be ongoing, incorporate clear communication, and be adaptable to the hospital’s organizational culture. Future research should focus on longitudinal studies to assess the long-term effects of performance appraisals on healthcare quality. Furthermore, combining qualitative and quantitative methods may provide a deeper understanding of the complex interactions between performance appraisals and employee performance in healthcare settings.
