Abstract

Language and thought are two unique things that only humans have and no other creature has when viewed from the perspective of the study of psycholinguistic disciplines. However, long before the discipline of psycholinguistics correlated the two, the Koran as a holy book had indicated through its verses that there were things related to this study. This study aims to discuss the perspective of the Qur'an on the correlation of language and thought. Based on the background of the problem that examines how the correlation between discussion and thought in the perspective of the Koran, the researcher will provide an explanation of the problem. This study uses a qualitative method approach with a library research approach. Because the type of library search approach, an activity describes the problem being studied. The results of this study show that language and thought are always correlated based on the verses that have been sorted, namely QS al-Baqarah verses 31-32, QS Al-Nisa verse 164, QS al-Mulk verse 23, QS Fushshilat verse 53, QS Yunus verse 101, QS al-Ankabut verse 20, QS al-Hajj verse 46.

Abstract

The Arabic language matriculation program in the Arabic Education Department of IAIN Sultan Amai has been implemented for years, but its effectiveness and efficiency have not been scientifically evaluated yet. This study aims to evaluate the Arabic language matriculation program from the perspectives of tutors and students. The approach used is qualitative with a descriptive type of analysis, and the data sources are the tutors from each class and a number of students from different classes. Data collection methods used are interviews and observations. The results show that the strengths of the matriculation program are the dedication of tutors, varied teaching methods, customized handbooks, an Arabic language environment, and cooperative participants. However, the program also has weaknesses, such as unclear educational calendars, unstructured evaluations, and suboptimal attendance control. In conclusion, the roles of tutors and student management are vital in this program, and positive two-way feedback from participants and tutors can sustain the program despite shortcomings in management. It is suggested to conduct a study on the program's effectiveness and obtain empirical data in the form of quantitative measurement.

Abstract

Pada umumnya orang tua akan mengasihi dan menerima anak tanpa syarat apapun. Namun, tidak semua orang tua dapat secara lansung menerima anak yang memiliki identitas sebagai seorang waria. Hal tersebutlah yang kemudian mendasari penulis untuk melakukan penelitian pada penerimaan orang tua yang memiliki anak seorang waria. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran penerimaan.orang tua (ibu) yang memiliki anak waria. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan metode wawancara. Prosedur pemilihan responden menggunakan metode purposive sampling dengan menentukan kriteria partisipan, yaitu orang tua (Ibu) yang memiliki anak waria. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 3 orang, dan di luar partisipan utama, dilibatkan pula 3 orang informan. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu ketiga partisipan memiliki gambaran aspek yang berbeda. Serta kurangnya keterlibatan ibu terhadap aktifitas anak membuat ibu tidak banyak memberikan pengaruh dalam hidup anaknya. Penerimaan orang tua terhadap anak hanya sampai tahap tawar menawar. Artinya, ketiga partisipan belum dapat menerima penuh keadaan anaknya sebagai waria

Abstract

This study aims to delineate the attributes of the day-to-day usage of the Arabic language by students at Pondok Pesantren Al-Falah Limboto Barat, considering the intrusion of the learners' native language, predominantly the Gorontalo regional dialect. The employed research methodology adopts a qualitative descriptive stance, encompassing data accrual through interviews and observations. Subsequently, the data undergoes scrutiny via deductive and descriptive approaches. The revelations of this investigation are expounded upon in five intricately linked sub-dialogues. Initially, the adeptness in verbal communication among students signifies their proficiency in articulating Arabic with fluency and alacrity, devoid of significant hindrances in mutual comprehension. Secondly, instances of imprecisions in the enunciation of letters and linguistic norms emerge in specific scenarios. Thirdly, the direct transference from Gorontalo vernacular to Arabic manifests in sentences retaining the nuances of Gorontalo but articulated with Arabic lexicon. Fourthly, the impact of the mother tongue on the formulation of Arabic as the students' secondary language is discernible in the incorporation of particles within sentences. The outcomes of this research unveil that the attributes of the daily Arabic language usage by Pondok Pesantren Al-Falah's students are profoundly molded by the Gorontalo language. Despite the seamless communication among students, a requisite for refinement persists in their utilization of the Arabic language.

Abstract

Diagnostic assessment is a crucial element in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum. This study aims to design a diagnostic instrument for Arabic language students in grade 7 at MTs. N Batu using Arabic vocabulary crossword puzzles and analyzing the assessment results for follow-up planning. The approach employed is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and tests. The findings indicate that designed diagnostic assessment instrument has good content validity and is relevant to the curriculum. The use of instrument in teaching is considered efficient and effective. However, the analysis results show that most students still have low vocabulary proficiency. Several errors and weaknesses in vocabulary usage were also identified, such as incorrect use of writing vocabularies letters. It is hoped the findings of this diagnostic assessment analysis can serve as a basis for improving the quality of Arabic language learning in the future, particularly in terms of vocabulary mastery.

Abstract

دعم تطور اتجاهات تعلم اللغة العربية قد حفّز تطوير برامج اللغة العربية في مختلف المؤسسات الحديثة. وقد نظّم المعهد الإسلامي الحديث دار العلوم سيباهو برنامج اللغة العربية لسنوات عديدة. مما جعل هذا المعهد أحد المعاهد الإسلامية الحديثة التي لديها طلاب نشطين في التحدث باللغة العربية، وهذا بالطبع لم يكن ليحدث دون إدارة تخطيط جيدة. لذلك، تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى استكشاف استراتيجيات إدارة تخطيط برنامج اللغة العربية في هذا المعهد. باستخدام منهجية نوعية، تم جمع البيانات من خلال المقابلات والملاحظات. وأظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن تخطيط برنامج اللغة العربية في المعهد الإسلامي الحديث دار العلوم سيباهو يتبع نهجاً شاملاً ومنهجياً، يشمل جوانب الزمن، التقنية، والجودة. تم تصميم البرامج اليومية، الأسبوعية، الثلاثية، والسنوية بعناية. ويعتبر التركيز على التخطيط القصير الأجل مهماً في سياق تغيير قيادة الطلاب كل عام، مما يضمن تعديل البرنامج وفقاً لديناميكيات الاحتياجات والتقييمات التي يقوم بها القادة الجدد. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، يشمل التخطيط التقني ضمن فئة تخطيط المشروع حيث يتم تصميم البرامج لتحقيق أهداف أو معايير محددة، مما يعزز قدرة الطلاب على التحدث باللغة العربية بشكل نشط. في جانب الجودة، يظهر تخطيط البرنامج في هذا المعهد مزيجاً من النهج العلوي والسفلي، مما يدل على وجود تعاون وتكامل بين قسم اللغة والإدارة العليا. بشكل عام، يعكس هذا التخطيط التزاماً جاداً للمعهد في تحقيق أهداف محددة، وهي تعزيز قدرة الطلاب على التحدث باللغة العربية بشكل نشط. Dukungan terhadap perkembangan tren pembelajaran bahasa Arab telah mendorong pengembangan program bahasa Arab di berbagai lembaga modern. Pondok Pesantren Modern Darul Ulum Sipaho telah menyelenggarakan program bahasa Arab selama bertahun-tahun. Hal tersebut menjadikan pesantren ini sebagai salah satu pesantren modern yang memiliki santri aktif dalam berbahasa Arab, tentu hal ini tidak terlepas dari manajemen perencanaan yang baik. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi manajemen perencanaan program bahasa Arab di pesnatren ini. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan program bahasa Arab di Pondok Pesantren Modern Darul Ulum Sipaho mengikuti pendekatan yang menyeluruh dan sistematis, mencakup aspek waktu, teknis, dan kualitas. Program harian, mingguan, triwulanan, dan tahunan dirancang dengan cermat. Fokus pada perencanaan jangka pendek penting dalam konteks pergantian pimpinan siswa setiap tahun, yang memastikan penyesuaian program dengan dinamika kebutuhan dan evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh para pengelola baru. Selain itu, perencanaan secara teknis termasuk dalam kategori perencanaan proyek di mana program dirancang untuk mencapai tujuan atau standar tertentu, yang meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk berbicara bahasa Arab secara aktif. Dalam aspek kualitas, rencana program di lembaga ini menunjukkan kombinasi pendekatan dari atas ke bawah dan dari bawah ke atas, yang menunjukkan adanya kerjasama dan integrasi antara departemen bahasa dan pimpinan tertinggi. Secara keseluruhan, perencanaan ini mencerminkan komitmen serius institut dalam mencapai tujuan tertentu, yaitu meningkatkan kemampuan siswa untuk berbicara bahasa Arab secara aktif

Abstract

This study explores the Group Investigation (GI) model's role in developing 21st-century skills in collaboration, communication, creativity, and problem-solving in Arabic language learning. Addressing a research gap, it examines how GI enhances these skills, fostering effective learning and student engagement in the classroom. This study uses a qualitative approach, and it examines the implementation of the Group Investigation model in teaching Arabic to 57 students in two classes. Observations over 3 hours per class focused on student interactions during group assignments, highlighting activeness, role distribution, opinion exchange, and task allocation. Documentation through photos and videos validated the observations and supported the analysis of 21st-century skills. Data analysis employed an interactive approach. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the Group Investigation cooperative learning model in Arabic learning instruction significantly illustrates students' 21st-century skills. This study contributes to Arabic language learning by demonstrating that the Group Investigation (GI) model enhances 21st-century skills, particularly creativity. Future research should explore additional strategies within GI to strengthen communication and collaboration while evaluating its impact on Arabic language learning outcomes.

Abstract

Exploring the implementation of the Think Pair Share model with the drill method in Arabic vocabulary learning is the main objective of this research. Using a qualitative approach through interviews and observations, data analysis was conducted iteratively and in-depth. The research findings indicate that there are four steps in implementing the Think Pair Share model with the drill method in Arabic vocabulary learning. First, the teacher introduces new vocabulary and explains its meaning and usage in sentences to the students. Then, students are given time to process and understand the vocabulary they have just learned through the thinking stage. Next, students are paired with classmates to share and memorize the vocabulary they have learned in turn. Finally, the results of the discussion are shared with the whole class, where the teacher selects several pairs randomly to come forward and convey their understanding of the vocabulary and its meaning to the entire class.

Abstract

PowerPoint has become a highly popular teaching medium in recent years, supported by various studies showing its high effectiveness in the learning process. However, the opposite has been observed in the teaching of Qowaidun Nahwi at Ma'had Tahfidzul Qur'an al Firqoh an Najiyah Putri. Therefore, this study aims to explain and thoroughly map students' responses and perceptions regarding the use of PowerPoint and the lecture method in Qowaidun Nahwi instruction at the school. This research employs a qualitative approach, with data collection methods including interviews and questionnaires administered to both teachers and students. The findings indicate that, although most students do not find PowerPoint boring, support and interest in this medium are relatively low, with only 58.3% supporting and 61% showing interest. Students tend to better understand the material through direct lectures, which are deemed more effective, with 81% of students viewing PowerPoint as merely a supplementary tool rather than the primary medium. On the other hand, the lecture method supported by the use of a whiteboard garnered higher support, with 73% of students in favor and 83% showing high interest. This method is considered more effective in facilitating the comprehension of complex material like Qowaidun Nahwi, although the integration of interactive methods such as discussions is still necessary to encourage more active student participation in the learning process.

Abstract

مستخلص: تهدف الدراسة إلى: (1) لمعرفة كيفية تطوير البرنامج أوتوبلاي ميديا ستوديو لمهارة القراءة لتلاميذ الصف الحادي عشر(2) لمعرفة خصائص المنتج الوسيلة التعليمية المطورة على أساس برنامج أوتوبلاي ميديا ستوديو لمهارة القراءة لتلاميذ الصف الحادي عشر (3) لمعرفة فعالية برنامج أوتوبلاي ميديا ستوديو المطورة في تعليم مهارة القراءة للصف الحادي عشر. في هذا البحث، استخدم الباحث طريقة البحث والتطوير مع نموذج التطوير الخاص بهم باستخدام نموذج ADDIE. مصدر البيانات في هذا البحث هو البيانات الكيفية والبيانات الكمية، و أدوات جمع البيانات المستخدمة في شكل مقابلة واستبيانات واختبار. نتائج هذا البحث هي: (1) في تطوير الوسيلة التعليمية الباحث اتبع الخطوات التالية: أ) تحليل الاحتياجات، ب) تصميم المنتج، ج) تطوير المنتج، د) تجربة المنتج للتلاميذ، ه) التقويم. (2) خصائص الوسيلة التعليمية المنتجات على أساس برنامج أوتوبلاي ميديا ستوديو تشمل: يجب أن تستخدم هذه الوسيلة التعليمية على جهاز الكمبيوتر / المحمول مع قرار من 720 × 1080 بكسل؛ لا يمكن استخدامها عبر الإنترنت؛ يتم تكييف مواد الوسيلة التعليمية مع الكفاءات الأساسية لتعلم اللغة العربية في الصف الحادي عشر ، ويتم تطبيق النهج السياقية في شكل نص وصور وسمعية. (3) الوسيلة التعليمية المستندة إلى تطبيق أوتوبلاي ميديا ستودي فعالة لتعلم مهارة القراءة باللغة العربية. انطلاقا من معدل نتيجة الاختبار القبلي = 45.22٪ و الاختبار البعدي = 85.87٪، ثم نتيجة الاختبارt-test ، = thitung 10،918 أكبر من ttabel 2،074.
