Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of the basic long jump technique of the squat style in elementary school through the application of a play approach. The type of research used is classroom action research with 29 students as subjects at the fourth-grade level of Islamic Elementary School Unggulan BTN Pemda. The instruments used include an initial test, cycle I, and cycle II, as well as data analysis using SPSS version 21.00. The study was conducted in two cycles, with observations of the difficulties experienced by students and modifications to the learning approach. The results of the initial test indicated that only 27.02% of students achieved learning mastery. After the application of the play approach, in cycle I the learning mastery increased to 54.05%, and in cycle II it reached 81.08% with an average score of 81.03. This increase indicates the effectiveness of the play approach in overcoming difficulties in the basic long jump technique. The application of the play approach has proven effective in improving the learning outcomes of the basic long jump technique of the squat style in fourth-grade students, with learning mastery reaching the standard of 80%. This study provides important implications for the development of physical education learning methodology in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study goal is efforts to improve passing learning outcomes in football games through the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) model for elementary school students. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR). This research was conducted in Grade VI. The study involved a student from Islamic Elementary School Minasa Upa, with a sample consisting of 24 individuals. The data collection technique used the basic locomotor movement test. The findings of the study indicate that in cycle I, the passing learning outcomes for grade VI were assessed. The students of Islamic Elementary School Minasa Upa Makassar were 13 students (46%) on a complete scale and 11 students (54%) on an incomplete scale. While there were 20, or 83%, of students in the minimum completion criteria (complete) category, those who did not complete were 4, or 17%, of students out of 24 students in total. At the second meeting of cycle II, it was found that 83% of the students, or 20 out of 24, achieved a score of ≥ 75. This indicates a significant increase in learning outcomes for passing the ball using the Teams Games Tournament model in the soccer game for class V. The study was conducted at an Islamic elementary school located in Minasa Upa.

Abstract

This article discusses the management of sepak takraw development as an effective means of improving soft skills and student achievement in educational institutions in North Toraja Regency. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with the aim of analyzing and describing in depth how the planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of sepak takraw development programs are managed to achieve these two objectives. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with school principals, physical education teachers, coaches, and student representatives; participant observation of training sessions and competitions; and document analysis related to curriculum development programs and extracurricular activities. The results show that effective sepak takraw development management focuses not only on technical training for achieving sporting achievements but also integrates values ​​such as teamwork, discipline, leadership, and mental resilience into each training session. This integration has been shown to contribute significantly to improving students' soft skills, as measured by their interactions within the school and community. Furthermore, a well-managed program results in consistent improvements in sepak takraw achievement at the regional and national levels. In conclusion, sepak takraw development in North Toraja serves a dual function as an athletic development program and character building. Ongoing support from schools and local governments is needed to maintain this effective management model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan zig-zag shoot dan games shoot terhadap tingkat akurasi shooting pada atlet Sekolah Sepak Bola (SSB) Syekh Yusuf. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain eksperimen two groups pre-test post-test design dengan teknik pengambilan sampel secara acak (purposive sampling). Sebanyak 20 atlet dipilih sebagai sampel penelitian dari total populasi yang berjumlah 63 pemain. Proses penelitian, mulai dari tahap observasi awal hingga evaluasi akhir, dilaksanakan dalam kurun waktu 2 bulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan zig-zag shoot memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap akurasi shooting, dengan nilai tobservasi 5,238 > ttabel 2,262 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,001 (α < 0,05). Latihan games shoot juga memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap akurasi shooting, dengan nilai tobservasi 24,187 > ttabel 2,262 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 (α < 0,05). Selain itu, terdapat perbedaan pengaruh yang signifikan antara kedua jenis latihan, di mana nilai tobservasi 7,875 > ttabel 2,228 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 (α < 0,05). Hal ini dapat disimpulkan, latihan games shoot memiliki pengaruh yang lebih besar dibandingkan dengan latihan zig-zag shoot dalam meningkatkan akurasi shooting pada atlet SSB Syekh Yusuf.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of sport massage socialization on the knowledge and interest of visitors to Pakui Park in engaging in physical activity. A total of 100 visitors, comprising 50 men and 50 women, participated in this study. The results reveal that sport massage socialization significantly enhances the knowledge and interest of visitors to Pakui Park in participating in physical activity. Furthermore, the socialization of sport massage improves visitors' understanding of the benefits of sport massage in preventing injuries and enhancing physical performance. The findings suggest that sport massage socialization is an effective strategy for promoting physical activity and a healthy lifestyle among visitors to Pakui Park. This study contributes to the existing body of knowledge on the role of sport massage in promoting physical activity and provides insights for policymakers, health professionals, and park administrators to develop targeted interventions aimed at encouraging visitors to engage in regular physical activity and adopt a healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

Abstrak. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi promosi olahraga Petanque di Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan melalui pemanfaatan media sosial. Pengabdian dilaksanakan di tujuh kabupaten/kota, yaitu Kota Makassar, Kabupaten Maros, Kota Parepare, Kabupaten Bantaeng, Kabupaten Pangkep, Kabupaten Soppeng, dan Kabupaten Luwu Timur. Metode kegiatan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan pembuatan konten digital, serta pendampingan pengelolaan akun media sosial resmi FOPI daerah. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa setiap daerah kini memiliki akun media sosial aktif (Instagram, TikTok, dan Facebook) sebagai sarana promosi olahraga Petanque. Dampak positif yang terukur meliputi meningkatnya partisipasi masyarakat, terbentuknya komunitas pelajar Petanque, dan meningkatnya keikutsertaan daerah dalam Babak Kualifikasi PORPROV Sulawesi Selatan tahun 2025. Kegiatan ini membuktikan bahwa strategi promosi berbasis media sosial dapat menjadi model efektif dalam memperkuat eksistensi dan pembinaan olahraga baru di daerah.Kata kunci: Petanque, promosi olahraga, media sosial, FOPI, Sulawesi Selatan

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen semu yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan target tetap dan target bergerak terhadap ketepatan pukulan gyaku tsuki atlet Perguruan Inkanas Kabupaten Bantaeng. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan ekeperimen dengan pendekatan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 20 atlet yang dibagi kedalam 2 kelompk dengan menggunakan radom sampel dengan desain matching ordinal pairing sehingga menghasilkan 10 atlet tergabung dalam kelompok latihan target tetap dan 10 atlet tergabung dalam kelompok latihan target bergerak. Hasil penelitian uji normalitas dan homegenitas kedua kelompok latihan diperoleh data diatas alpha 0,05 menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dan homogen. Pengaruh latihan target bergerak sebesar 0,000 dan Pengaruh latihan target tetap sebesar 0,001, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh target bergerak lebih besar daripada target tetap dan terjadi perbedaan rata-rata hasil pretest dan postest atlet. Hasil pretest kelompok latihan target tetap sebesar 1,30 menjadi 2,00 pukulan setelah postest. Sedangkan kolompok target bergerak hasil pretest memperoleh sebesar 1,20 menjadi 3,00 pukulan. Kesimpulan penelitian bahwa ada perbedaan pengaruh signifikan antara latihan target tetap dan target bergerak terhadap ketepatan pukulan gyaku tsuki atlet Perguruan Inkanas Kabupaten Bantaeng

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung indeks massa tubuh, daya ledak lengan terhadap reaksi tangan, reaksi tangan terhadap hasil pukulan chudan tsuki, daya ledak lengan terhadap hasil pukulan chudan tsuki pada karate-ka INKANAS di SMP Negeri 31 Makassar dan terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung pada indeks massa tubuh dan daya ledak lengan terhadap hasil pukulan chudan tsuki pada karate-ka INKANAS di SMP Negeri 31 Makassar. Jenis penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian deskriptif, data analisis menggunakan teknik analisis jalur (path analysis). Lokasi penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 31 Makassar. Populasi yang digunakan seluruh karete-ka inkanans SMP Negeri 31 Makassar dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, maka sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 40 orang. Hasil penelitian daya ledak lengan terhadap reaksi tangan didapatkan nilai sebesar 1,384 dengan nilai signifikansi diperoleh 0,000 (<0,05). Reaksi tangan terhadap hasil pukulan chudan tsuki didapatkan nilai sebesar 0,589 dengan nilai signifikansi diperoleh 0,000 (<0,05). Daya ledak lengan terhadap hasil pukulan chudan tsuki sebesar 0,195 dengan nilai signifikansi diperoleh 0,007 (<0,05). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh langsung indeks massa tubuh, daya ledak lengan terhadap reaksi tangan, reaksi tangan terhadap hasil pukulan chudan tsuki, daya ledak lengan terhadap hasil pukulan chudan tsuki pada karate-ka INKANAS di SMP Negeri 31 Makassar dan terdapat pengaruh tidak langsung pada indeks massa tubuh dan daya ledak lengan terhadap hasil pukulan chudan tsuki pada karate-ka INKANAS di SMP Negeri 31 Makassar.

Abstract

Basketball dribbling training at SMP 3 Bontomannu was designed to develop students' basic technical competencies in ball control and build confidence in playing basketball. This program provides opportunities for students to understand the fundamental principles of dribbling, recognize variations in ball control techniques, learn strategies for applying dribbling in game situations, and develop motor coordination and agility. Through structured and progressive training, it is expected that students can improve ball handling abilities, develop decision-making skills in games, increase physical fitness, and foster sportsmanship and teamwork in the school environment.

Abstract

Interactive serve duel game training in badminton at SMPN Gollek No 34 Kepulauan SelayarSelayar was designed to develop students' basic technical competencies in mastering backhand serve and improve accuracy and confidence in playing badminton. This program provides opportunities for students to understand the fundamental principles of backhand serve, recognize variations in short and long serve techniques, learn strategies for applying serves in game situations, and develop hand-eye coordination and stroke consistency. Through structured training with an interactive duel-based game approach, it is expected that students can improve backhand serve technique abilities, develop tactical decision-making skills, increase shuttlecock placement accuracy, and foster competitive spirit and sportsmanship in the school environment.
