Abstract

Background: This study aims to determine the effect of growth of Jelawat fish given additional feed silkworm and pellets. Method: This study used Complete Randomized Design (RAL) with four treatments, five repeats. L. hoevenii were kept for 28 days with a countainer box with the same quality and quantity of water. Measurements are taken once every 2 weeks. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) was carried out on the measurement results, and continued with the Smallest Real Difference (BNT) test. Result: In treatment A with feed (100% pellets) resulted in weight growth (0.5 g), body length (3.4 mm), and body thickness (0.35 mm). In treatment B with  feeding (Pellets 25% + T.tubifex 75%) resulted in weight growth (1.02 g), body length (24.6 mm), and body thickness (2.84 mm). In treatment C with feed (Pellets 50% +T.tubifex 50%) resulted in weight growth (0.54 g), body length (9.6 mm), and body thickness (1.71 mm). In treatment D with feeding (Pellets 75% + T.tubifex 25%) resulted in weight growth (0.34 g), body length (9.0 mm), and body thickness (1.37 mm). Conclusion: The addition of T. tubifex  feed can have an influence on the growth of L. Hoevenii and the best treatment to produce good fish growth in this study is found in the B treatment given feed (Pellets 25% + T.Tubifex 75%) resulting in the highest growth with body weight growth (1.02 g), body length (24.6 mm), and body thickness (2.84) mm.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan handout KOKO (Kontekstual dan Kooperatif) pada materi sistem organisasi kehidupan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII SMPN 9 Kota Bengkulu. Penelitian menggunakan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 9 Kota Bengkulu dengan sampel kelas VII A dan VII C. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik Purposive Sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa lembar tes yang berbentuk soal essay. Hasil belajar siswa berdasarkan analisis independent sample t-tes diperoleh nilai thitung ˃ ttabel = 5,512 ˃ 2,001 sehingga H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Berdasarkan uji peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan  uji N-gain diperoleh bahwa nilai N-gain kelas eskperimen lebih tinggi daripada nilai N-gain kelas kontrol dengan  rata-rata N-gain score kelas eskperimen 0.7 dan kelas kontrol 0.5. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan handout berbasis KOKO (Kontekstual dan Kooperatif) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas VII pada aspek kognitif.   Kata kunci : Handout, KOKO, Hasil Belajar Aspek Kognitif, dan Sistem Organisasi Kehidupan     ABSTRACT The research aims to determine the effect of the use of the KOKO (Contextual and Cooperative) handout on the material of life organization systems on student learning outcomes in class VII of SMPN 9 Bengkulu City. Research using a non-equivalent control group design The population in this study were students of class VII at SMP Negeri 9 in Bengkulu City, with a sample of students in classes VII A and VII C. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique. The instrument of the research is a test sheet in the form of essay questions. Student learning outcomes based on independent sample t-test analysis obtained tcount ˃ ttable = 5.512 ˃  2.001, so that H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. Based on the test for improving student learning outcomes with the N-gain test, it was found that the N-gain score for the experimental class was higher than the N-gain score for the control class, with an average N-gain score of 0.7 for the experimental class and 0.5 for the control class. The results of the study concluded that there was an effect of the use of KOKO-based handouts (Contextual and Cooperative) on the learning outcomes of class VII students in the cognitive aspect. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to see the level of student satisfaction in carrying out online learning by comparing the perspectives of male and female students. This study used a cross sectional survey research method to 329 students in Bengkulu province consisting of 130 male students and 199 female students. Sampling for this study used a random system. The results showed that the highest satisfaction index for female students was the score they got during their activities with an average score of 4.10, on the contrary, they had the lowest score on the belief that they could study independently without face-to-face, which was the lowest point with a score of 3.07. From the male perspective, they were satisfied with the way to connect the previous learning by the teacher with an average score of 3.94 but the same as female students, most male students were also not sure that they would be able to study online.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan literasi sains mahasiswa melalui implementasi pembelajaran etno-STEM berorientasi permainan tradisional Bengkulu. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (Classroom Action Research, dengan empat langkah setiap siklus yaitu: perencanaan (planning), tindakan (acting), Observasi (observation), dan Refleksi (reflection). Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa semester 1 Program Studi S1 Pendidikan IPA pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Instrumen penelitian ini adalah tes literasi sains mahasiswa. Data penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan skor rata-rata literasi sains adalah 44,85 dalam kriteria Tidak Baik pada siklus I dan 62,38 dalam kriteria Cukup Baik pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, terdapat peningkatan literasi sains mahasiswa setelah dilakukan implementasi pembelajaran ethno-STEM berorientasi permainan tradisional Bengkulu. Kata Kunci : Etno-STEM, Permainan Tradisional Bengkulu, Literasi Sains ABSTRACT This study aims to improve students' scientific literacy through the implementation of ethno-STEM learning oriented towards Bengkulu’s traditional games. This study is a Classroom Action Research (CLSR), with four steps in each cycle, namely: planning, acting, observation, and reflection. The subjects in this study were all first-semester students of the Science Education Undergraduate Program in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The research instrument was a student scientific literacy test. The research data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that the average score of scientific literacy was 44.85 in the Not Good criteria in cycle I and 62.38 in the Fairly Good criteria in cycle II. Based on these results, there was an increase in students' scientific literacy after the implementation of ethno-STEM learning oriented towards Bengkulu‘s traditional games. Abstract

Abstrak Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan wawasan mengenai percobaan sains dan pengembangan percobaan sains bagi guru PAUD dan memberikan pengetahuan, rasa ingin tahu, serta minat belajar sains sedari kecil bagi anak usia dini di Labschool PAUD UNIB. Metode pelatihan yang dilakukan adalah metode demonstrasi, ceramah, dan tanya jawab. Jumlah peserta pelatihan yang hadir adalah sebanyak 10 orang. Hasil pelatihan adalah guru dan anak Labschool PAUD UNIB memperoleh pengetahuan tentang sains dan percobaan sains, rasa ingin tahu dan minat belajar sains meningkat terutama yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini terbukti terlihat dari antusias guru dan anak-anak saat demonstrasi percobaan dan penjelasan percobaan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, pengabdian ini dapat disimpulkan bermanfaat bagi guru dan anak Labschool PAUD UNIB.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of using case method-based teaching materials with QR code videos on undergraduate students' critical thinking skills in mechanics. This research used a quasi-experimental method with a post-test-only control group design. A sample of 2 classes was taken using a purposive sampling technique. The experimental class used case method-based mechanics teaching materials and videos in QR codes, while the control class used print-outs of material summaries. Data collection was carried out through observation and critical thinking skills tests. Critical thinking skills test results data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The t-test of two independent non-homogeneous samples is used to test the hypothesis of differences in means. The t-test results showed a difference in the average critical thinking skills scores of experimental and control class students with , greater than  at  (rounded up to 43). Based on these results, using case method-based mechanics teaching materials and videos in QR codes effectively develops students' critical thinking skills with an effectiveness level of 0.82, which means highly influential.

Abstract

Makroinvertebrata merupakan organisme tidak bertulang belakang yang memiliki ukuran kasat mata, memiliki habitat di darat, dalam  tanah, perairan meliputi air laut dan tawar. Kelompok makroinvertebrata di perairan bisa dijadikan bioindikator suatu perairan. Makroinvertebrata di perairan air tawar contohnya kelompok keong air tawar, serangga air, udang dan Clitellata seperti lintah. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Oktober 2023 sampai Januari 2024 menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan leaf litter bags, jaring seser, dan mengambil sedimen dasar perairan menggunakan ember. Pengukuran parameter lingkungan dilakukan meliputi pengukuran intensitas cahaya, suhu air, tingkat keasaman (pH), oksigen terlarut (DO), kedalaman lumpur, dan kedalaman air. Analisis data menggunakan indeks Shannon-Wiener, indeks Eveness dan indeks Simpson. Hasil identifikasi makroinvertebrata menunjukkan terdapat 16 spesies terdiri atas 13 famili dan 4 kelas. Indeks keanekaragaman makroinvertebrata di area kolam konservasi ex-situ kura-kura Siebenrockiella crassicollis Universitas Bengkulu secara umum tekanan ekologis berada pada kondisi tekanan rendah hingga sedang, dapat dilihat pada nilai H’ berkisar antara 0,981 sampai 1,577, indeks keseragaman berkisar antara 0,354 sampai 0,569 dan indeks dominansi berkisar antara 0,342 sampai 0,506. Kelimpahan, keanekaragaman, keseragaman dan dominansi makroinvertebrata dipengaruhi oleh parameter fisika kimia dan kondisi lingkungan.

Abstract

The problems in this study can be seen in the varying motivation and interest of students in learning. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of PjBL model assisted by ethnophysics of traditional games on higher order thinking skills of grade XI students. This type of research is a quasi-experiment with nonequivalent control group design. The population of this study were students of class XI IPA with a total of 227 students with a sample of 76 students. Sampling used purposive sampling technique. The research data were analyzed with descriptive and inferential statistics with SPSS version 25 software. Based on the results of the inferential statistical test through the independent sample t-test test, it was found that the application of the PjBL model in physics learning aided by ethnophysics had an influence on higher order thinking skills (HOTS) at the Sig level. (????) = 0,05. The results of the Cohen's d effect size test (=0.753) state that the effect of physics learning with the PjBL model assisted by ethnophysics on HOTS of class XI students is in the medium category. The findings in this study, will make a very important contribution to physics learning. Teachers can integrate the PjBL model with the local culture approach, which will create more meaningful learning.

Abstract

Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan dan pendampingan penerapan projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila bagi kepala sekolah dan guru di SMP Idhata Kota Bengkulu. Penyelenggaraan kegiatan ini memberikan manfaat kepada pihak sekolah dalam mengembangkan dan menerapkan kegiatan projek penguatan profil pelajar pancasila yang merupakan bagian dari implementasi kurikulum merdeka di SMP Idhata Kota Bengkulu. Metode yang diterapkan dalam kegiatan ini adalah metode presentasi dan diskusi. Evaluasi pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan dengan teknik observasi dan pemberian angket respon. Pelatihan dan pendampingan penerapan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila (P5) di SMP Idhata Kota Bengkulu terlaksana dengan baik dan lancar. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 19 orang dari berbagai SMP swasta. Pelatihan dan pendampingan ini meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta mengenai projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila dan pemahaman terhadap penerapannya serta memotivasi peserta untuk menerapkan projek penguatan profil pelajar Pancasila di sekolah dengan persentase respon masing-masing 92%, 92%, dan 88,25% dengan rata-rata 90,75% dalam kategori Sangat Baik. Pelatihan dan pendampingan ini diharapkan dapat dilanjutkan di kemudian hari.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis dan habitat Dogania subplana di anakan Sungai Melintang. Pengamatan dilakukan selama periode Juni-September 2024 dengan menggunakan metode pemasangan trap untuk menangkap sampel yang dibagi menjadi 4 stasiun. Sebagai habitat D. subplana, setiap stasiun dilakukan identifikasi tumbuhan, substrat serta mengukur abiotik. Parameter yang diamati meliputi Populasi. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian diketahui jenis labi-labi yang ditemukan adalah Dogania Subplana, diperoleh 10 ekor tangkapan dengan jenis kelamin jantan 4 dan betina 6. Substrat habitat D. subplana yaitu berpasir, berlumpur dan berkerikil. Tutupan lahan stasiun (I, II) kebun kopi dan stasiun (III, IV) lahan bekas perkebunan. Jumlah tangkapan spesies hewan dari 4 stasiun yaitu 838 individu. Hasil pengukuran parameter lingkungan adalah pH (air (8,33–8,69), lumpur (1,79–2,08), tanah (5,91–6,22)), suhu (air (20,59–22,43°C), udara (21,75–31,84°C)), kelembapan (lumpur (51,2–54,9%), udara (51,78–87,56%), tanah (56,19–61,37%)), TDS (0,24–0,26), DO (6,14–7,6), dan intensitas cahaya (0,0546–741,22). Berdasarkan data lapangan diketahui bahwa identifikasi jenis dan habitat D. subplana di anakan Sungai Melintang masih tergolong baik, ditandai dengan sumber makanan di habitat alami masih berlimpah dan parameter lingkungan yang diamati berada pada rentang yang cukup mendukung kelangsungan hidup spesies ini.
