Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh lingkungan kerja, gaya kepemimpinan, dan motivasi terhadap kinerja karyawan melalui kualitas kerja pada PDAM Tirtanadi Medan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan pengambilan sampel sebanyak 81 karyawan. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dirancang untuk mengukur variabel lingkungan kerja, gaya kepemimpinan, motivasi, dan kualitas kerja. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi berganda untuk menguji hipotesis yang diajukan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja, gaya kepemimpinan, dan motivasi mempunyai pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kualitas kerja, yang pada gilirannya berdampak positif pada kinerja karyawan. Temuan ini mengandung arti pentingnya pengelolaan lingkungan kerja yang baik, penerapan gaya kepemimpinan yang efektif, serta memberikan motivasi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kinerja karyawan di PDAM Tirtanadi Medan. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan bagi manajemen dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja karyawan

Abstract

Di Desa Marindal 2, Kecamatan Patumbak, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, pemanfaatan lahan pekarangan rumah tangga untuk mendukung ketahanan pangan masih belum optimal. Pekarangan rumah memiliki potensi besar untuk dikembangkan, salah satunya melalui penanaman Tanaman Obat Keluarga (TOGA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketahanan pangan keluarga melalui tanaman obat keluarga Di Desa Marindal 2. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualtitatif deskriptif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi terhadap keluarga-keluarga yang menanam dan memanfaatkan TOGA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan TOGA di Desa Marindal II mampu meningkatkan diversifikasi sumber pangan dan obat, menghemat pengeluaran keluarga, mendorong kemandirian dalam menjaga kesehatan, membuka peluang peningkatan pendapatan melalui penjualan hasil TOGA, serta berkontribusi pada pelestarian lingkungan dan budaya lokal. Pemanfaatan TOGA secara optimal dapat memperkuat ketahanan pangan keluarga, sekaligus meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat di Desa Marindal II.

Abstract

The objective of this study was to assess the impact of human resource quality, public health, education quality, and public services on governance, which has an impact on community welfare. A random sampling approach was used to randomly select 330 respondents. Questionnaires were used to collect data. SEM-PLS with structural equation modelling (SEM) was used for data analysis. Based on the findings of the study, the quality of human resources, public health, quality of education, public services, and governance all have a significant impact on community welfare. These five research variables are prioritised for improvement. The quality of human resources, public health, education, and public services show useful results, which can be a solution to welfare problems to achieve good governance, as long as they are within the framework of improving community welfare and not exploiting them for other personal gains. This research also shows the importance of the Muara Enim Regency government in preventing corrupt practices, especially since corrupt practices have a significant impact on people's welfare, because they not only make administrative procedures slow, expensive, and inefficient, but also divert resources to local governments. The Muara Enim Regency Government is expected to be able to equip its people with quality human resources, health services, public education, and public services, resulting in superior governance. This research also proposes that the Muara Enim Regency Government be more successful in making policies to stay on track and improve the human development index.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh kompensasi dan disiplin kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja serta kinerja karyawan di PT. Pasifik Energi Trans, dengan mempertimbangkan motivasi sebagai variabel intervening. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan untuk menguji hubungan antar variabel ini, yang mencakup kompensasi, disiplin kerja, produktivitas, kinerja, dan motivasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada karyawan dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi dan disiplin kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap produktivitas dan kinerja karyawan. Motivasi sebagai variabel intervening juga terbukti memediasi hubungan tersebut secara positif, sehingga meningkatkan produktivitas dan kinerja secara keseluruhan. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi manajemen PT. Pasifik Energi Trans untuk meningkatkan motivasi karyawan guna mencapai kinerja optimal. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi referensi bagi perusahaan dalam mengelola sumber daya manusia untuk mencapai tujuan organisasi. Kata Kunci: Kompensasi, Disiplin Kerja, Produktivitas Kerja, Kinerja, Motivasi

Abstract

Employee work effectiveness is a crucial factor in determining the success of an organization, particularly in government agencies. Competence and communication are two key aspects that play a role in improving the quality of employee performance. This research was conducted at the Population Control and Family Planning Office of South Tapanuli Regency to determine the extent to which these two variables influence work effectiveness. The results are expected to contribute to human resource development and more optimal organizational governance. The objectives of this research are: To determine the partial and simultaneous influence of competence and communication on employee work effectiveness at the Population Control and Family Planning Office of South Tapanuli Regency. The problem statement is: To what extent do competence and communication partially and simultaneously influence employee work effectiveness at the Population Control and Family Planning Office of South Tapanuli Regency? The research method used a quantitative method with 33 respondents from the Population Control and Family Planning Office of South Tapanuli Regency. Data analysis was performed using SPSS Version 23. Research Results: 1). The results show that competence has a positive and significant effect on employee work effectiveness. The contribution of competence to work effectiveness is reflected in the Beta value of 0.475 or 47.5%. This finding strengthens the theory that knowledge, skills, and work attitudes are the main keys in improving organizational performance. Thus, improving employee competence is a strategic factor for achieving optimal work effectiveness. 2). In addition, the results of the study also show that communication has a positive and significant influence on employee work effectiveness. The contribution of communication to work effectiveness is reflected in the Beta value of 0.410 or 41.0%. This finding confirms the importance of communication in creating understanding, coordination, and harmonious work relationships. With open, clear, and effective communication, employees can work more focused, efficient, and productive. 3). Simultaneously, competence and communication are proven to have a significant influence on employee work effectiveness. The coefficient of determination (R Square) value of 0.782 indicates that both variables are able to explain the variation in work effectiveness by 78.2%, while the remaining 21.8% is influenced by other factors outside this study. This finding proves that the third hypothesis is acceptable. The combination of adequate competence and effective communication is the main determinant of employee success in carrying out their duties. These two variables complement each other, with competence providing capacity and work quality, while communication fosters coordination, understanding, and collaboration. Given their significant contributions, improving employee work effectiveness requires strategies to strengthen competence and improve communication systems within the organization.

Abstract

Petani kelapa sawit rakyat merupakan salah satu aktor penting dalam menjaga kelangsungan keberlanjutan produksi kelapa sawit di Indonesia. Berbagai permasalahan mendasar yang dihadapi petani kelapa sawit rakyat antara lain terkait dengan pendapatan yang tidak ada pada saat tanaman belum menghasilkan, legalitas lahan serta terbatasnya kemampuan mereka dalam mengelola pertanaman kelapa sawit yang baik, akses terhadap dana, informasi harga berlaku, serta penggunaan sarana produksi dan kualitas pertanian. Penerapan kelembagaan ekonomi kebun kelapa sawit rakyat memerlukan perhatian dan dukungan pemerintah dan pelaku usaha lain dalam replanting kelapa sawit. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan penerapan  kelembagaan ekonomi melalui penyuluhan, diskusi dan memberikan contoh kepada petani yang sudah melakukan dan mendapat manfaat peran kelembagaan ekonomi untuk meningkatkan pendapatan sebelum tanaman kelapa sawit menghasilkan. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang telah terlaksana dalam bentuk penyuluhan, diskusi dengan penerapan kelembagaan ekonomi yang diusulkan melibatkan koperasi, kelompok tani kecil, dan didukung oleh lembaga penyedia regulasi, keuangan, dan input dengan program kemitraan program sawit rakyat di kecamatan Bangun Purba Kabupaten Deli Serdang Provinsi Sumatera Utara.

Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to understand the Handling of Student Injuries during the time of the Sports Teachers at Eria High School. The service was carried out at Eria Junior High School. Data collection techniques used include observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis in research took place simultaneously with the data collection process. It was achieved using three phases of the model, namely data redaction, data synthesis, and data verification. Based on data analysis from the initial survey conducted at Eria High School, it can be concluded that there were still a lot of anxiety around Olympic fencing training. There was training for understanding that was more basic and easy to implement based on the results of discussions on handling injuries to students. It can be done based on personal experience. For this reason, this service was carried out for training. The results of the discussion were  presented by socialization and instructions with the aim of assisting teachers and students. By providing scientific knowledge in the field of handling sports injuries using the RICE method,  it is expected to make it easier for teachers and students in Eria Junior High School.

Abstract

This research aims to develop PKK creativity in increasing MSME sales turnover in Medan Sunggal. In Increasing PKK Creativity in improving MSMEs in the Medan Sunggal PKK environment to support government programs in creating entrepreneurs and improving their quality. Globally, this training aims to increase entrepreneurial abilities and improve the quality of management and financial governance for micro, small and medium enterprises. (MSMEs) can operate independently. Planning, implementation, and evaluation are the three stages that go through to complete this work. Provided two meetings which were attended by 25 participants from MSME actors in the environment. PKK Medan is single. The results and discussion of this activity teach MSME players about entrepreneurship education, effective marketing strategies, and simple financial management. They also learn about the various financing schemes they can use.

Abstract

Pengaruh Intensitas Media Sosial, dan Word Of Mouth Terhadap Penjualan Produk dengan Variabel Intervening Keputusan Pembelian pada Umkm Medan”. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh intensitas media sosial,word of mouth, dan keputusan terhadap penjualan Bakmie Hockseng Bangka Medan. Populasi sebanyak 200 orang, sampel yang di ambil 30 responden. Teknik sampling yang digunakan oleh peneliti adalah sampling incidental. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis path (jalur). Pengaruh Intensitas Media Sosial (X1) terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y) hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Intensitas Media Sosial (X1) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Pengaruh Word Of Mouth (X2) terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y) hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Word Of Mouth (X2) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Pengaruh Intensitas Media Sosial (X1) terhadap Penjualan Produk (Z) hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Intensitas Media Sosial (X1) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Penjualan Produk (Z). Pengaruh Word Of Mouth (X2) terhadap Penjualan Produk (Z) hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Word Of Mouth (X2) secara parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Penjualan Produk (Z). Pengaruh Keputusan Pembelian (Y) terhadap Penjualan Produk (Z) hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa Keputusan Pembelian (Y) secara parsial berpengaruh dan bersignifikan terhadap Penjualan Produk (Z). Pengaruh Intensitas Media Sosial (X1) dengan Keputusan Pembelian (Y) terhadap Penjualan Produk (Z) Hasil ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa model I, yakni variabel X1, dan Y berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Z. Pengaruh Word Of Mouth (X2) dengan Keputusan Pembelian (Y) terhadap Penjualan Produk (Z) Hasil ini memberikan kesimpulan bahwa model II, yakni variabel X2, dan Y berpengaruh signifikan terhadap Z.

Abstract

Employee performance has become an essential indicator of organizational success, particularly in competitive industries such as the furniture sector, where productivity, quality of work, and responsibility strongly determine business sustainability. The importance of understanding factors that shape employee performance is increasingly relevant because many small and medium-sized enterprises face challenges related to fairness, limited organizational support, and fluctuating employee commitment. This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational justice, organizational support, and organizational commitment on employee performance at CV Bina Furniture Pekanbaru. Using a quantitative approach supported by structural equation modeling, the study evaluates how perceptions of fairness, support from management, and the psychological attachment of employees interact in shaping performance outcomes. The findings reveal that organizational justice positively contributes to improving employee performance and strengthens employee commitment. Organizational support also demonstrates a significant role in enhancing performance as well as reinforcing employee commitment toward the organization. Furthermore, organizational commitment is proven to be a strong predictor of employee performance, indicating that employees with higher emotional attachment tend to show better work outcomes. These results highlight the need for managerial policies that ensure fairness, provide adequate support, and foster commitment to optimize performance in small and medium-scale enterprises.
