Abstract

Purpose: This classroom action research aimed to improve junior high school students’ conceptual understanding of geometry through the integration of visual media within a cooperative learning framework. Methodology: The study was conducted in two cycles, involving 21 students, and followed the systematic stages of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. During the pre-cycle, traditional lecture-based instruction led to low engagement and unsatisfactory academic performance, with only 42.86% of students achieving the minimum mastery criterion (KKM). In Cycle I, the implementation of visual media such as diagrams and illustrations combined with cooperative learning activities, led to a modest increase in students’ average scores and engagement levels. However, the mastery rate remained at 52.38%, indicating the need for instructional refinement. In Cycle II, improvements in media quality, structured group facilitation, and enhanced teacher support contributed to significant learning gains. The average class score rose to 80.95, and 90.48% of students met the KKM. Observations also revealed marked improvements in student activeness, collaboration, and confidence in expressing ideas. Findings: The findings confirm that visual media, when effectively integrated into cooperative learning, significantly enhances students' conceptual understanding of geometry-related content. Significance: This research suggests that visual learning strategies should be systematically embedded into science instruction to support deeper comprehension and promote inclusive, student-centered classroom environments.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the types of errors made by students in working on geometry questions of the Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA) type according to Newman's stages in terms of cognitive style. The method used in this research is qualitative. Data collection techniques were carried out through cognitive style tests, geometry test questions, and unstructured interviews. The instruments in this research were the GEFT test and the MCA type geometry test. The research took place a junior high school in Tasikmalaya, the subjects in this research were class IX students who had consistent cognitive styles and made different mistakes. The data analysis techniques used are according to Miles and Huberman, namely data reduction, data presentation and verification. The findings from this research were that Field Dependent subjects made mistakes at the understanding, process skills and encoding. The contributing factors are that they did not master the material, were not being careful in calculations, and were not used to checking answer results. Meanwhile, Independent Field subjects made mistakes at the process skills and encoding. The causal factor is that they were not used to doing large number calculation operations. The implications of this study suggest that teachers should design differentiated learning strategies that consider students’ cognitive styles to minimize specific types of errors and enhance overall problem-solving abilities.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kualitas butir soal ujian sekolah bidang studi matematika kelas IX SMP Islam Hidayatul Ummah Tahun Pelajaran 2020/2021. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Islam Hidayatul Ummah dengan objek yaitu berupa lembar jawaban siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik Dokumentasi. Dan data yang diperoleh dianalisis dengan menggunakan bantuan program iteman sebelum akhirnya dapat ditarik kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, dapat dilihat bahwa : (1) Tingkat kesukaran butir soal, dari 25 butir soal yang disediakan, sebanyak 44 persen butir soal memiliki tingkat kesukaran (TK) sedang (berada pada interval yang tergolong ke dalam kriteria soal yang baik. 0 persen butir soal berada pada interval yang tergolong dalam kriteria butir soal yang mudah. sedangkan 56 persen lainnya berada pada interval yang tergolong dalam kriteria soal yang sukar atau sulit. (2) Daya beda butir soal, dari 25 butir soal yang disediakan, 44 persen butir soal memiliki daya beda yang diterima dengan baik, 8 persen butir soal diterima dengan revisi,16 persen butir soal di perbaiki, sedangkan 32 persen butir soal lainnya dibuang. Sedangkan untuk pengecoh, 84 persen butir soal memiliki 3 option yang berfungsi dari 4 option yang disediakan. 16 persen memiliki 2 option yang berfungsi dari 4 option yang disediakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran kooperatife tipe team game tournament (TGT) dengan media motul efektif terhadap hasil belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian komparatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII MTs Al Qadir Menemneg. Penentuan sampel dilakukan dengan purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 23 siswa. Pengambilan data menggunakan instrument test berupa uraian pretest dan posttest. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji non parametrik Wilcoxon pada signifikasi 5% menggunakan software SPSS Statistik versi 26. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (1) nilai P<0.05 yaitu 0.00 artinya H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima artinya ada perbedaan yang nyata/significant penggunaan model pembelajaran Team Game Tournament dengan menggunakan media MOTUL terhadap hasil belajar. (2) Metode pembelajaran kooperatife tipe TGT dengan media motul efektif terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada materi operasi hitung bilangan bulat, dimana rata-rata hasil belajar siswa meningkat dari 64,35 menjadi 85,22.

Abstract

This research and development (R&D) study aimed to develop Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS)-based student worksheets (LKPD) grounded in assessment culture and productive disposition. Following the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement and Evaluate). The study involved three mathematics teacher, five students for preliminary analysis, two subject matter experts, two media experts and 25 students for implementation. Data were collected through unstructed interviews and several instrument such as an assessment culture questionnaire, a productive disposition questionnaire, expert validation sheets and user response questionnaire. Findings showed that the student’s assessment was categorized as “compliance”, and their productive disposition was “moderate”. The worksheets were validated as “highly feasible” by experts and received “very good” user feedback. Furthermore, an 84% student mastery rate in the competency test demostrates the effectiveness of the developed HOTS based worksheet for learning.

Abstract

The rapid development of the halal economy in recent decades demands support from a robust and sustainable Islamic financial system. Among the financing instruments that play a crucial role in supporting the sustainability of this ecosystem are the ijarah and Ijarah Muntahiyah Bittamlik (IMBT) contracts. Both contracts offer asset-based financing solutions free from usury, thus aligning with Islamic economic values. Through a gradual leasing and ownership scheme, ijarah and IMBT facilitate access for businesses, particularly halal MSMEs, to productive assets without requiring large upfront capital. This approach not only encourages real sector growth and business efficiency but also expands the reach of Islamic financial services in the community. This article aims to examine the contribution of ijarah and IMBT to halal economic growth, evaluate the challenges of their implementation, and propose sustainable optimization strategies.

Abstract

Belief matematis yang dipahami sebagai keyakinan terhadap mata pelajaran matematika, kenyataannya sangat berpengaruh dalam proses pembelajaran matematika, khususnya terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis belief matematis guru pemula dalam mengajar dan belajar matematika, ditinjau dari media Digibook yang telah dikembangkan. Sebanyak 9 guru pemula dengan belief matematis pada aspek belajar matematika yang berbeda menjadi subjek dalam penelitian ini. Penelitian ini termasuk pada deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengambilan data berupa media Digibook yang dikembangkan oleh subjek, angket belief matematis yang sebelumnya telah divalidasi dan wawancara semi terstruktur. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa guru pemula dengan keyakinan belajar level platonis meyakini bahwa dalam belajar matematika, pemahaman akan konsep merupakan inti dari belajar. Hal ini berdampak pada cara mereka mengajar, meyakinkan siswa bahwa matematika bukan hanya prosedur. Bagi guru pemula dengan keyakinan belajar problem solving, belajar merupakan proses mengeksplorasi pengetahuan dan media pembelajaran berperan sebagai alat bantu, alat komunikasi dan alat pengembangan berfikir matematis. Hasil penelitian ini mengimplikasi bahwa guru pemula dengan semangat belajar dan mengajarnya serta keinginan dalam mengembangkan media pembelajaran mampu menghasilkan media Digibook yang sesuai dengan karakteristik dan kebutuhan siswanya. Mathematical beliefs, which are understood as beliefs about mathematics subjects, are in fact very influential in the process of learning mathematics, especially on student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to analyze the mathematical beliefs of novice teachers in teaching and learning mathematics, in terms of the Digibook media that has been developed. A total of 9 (nine) novice teachers with mathematical beliefs in different aspects of learning mathematics were taken as the participants of this study. This study was a descriptive qualitative using Digibook media developed by the participants and a mathematical belief questionnaire that has been previously validated and semi-structured interviews as data collections. The results of this study showed that novice teachers with platonic level learning beliefs believed that in learning mathematics, understanding concepts was the core of learning. This affected the way they teach, convincing students that math was not just a procedure. For novice teachers with problem solving learning beliefs, learning was a process of exploring knowledge and learning media acts as a tool, a communication tool and a mathematical thinking development tool. The results of this study implied that novice teachers with their passion for learning and teaching and the desire to develop learning media were able to produce Digibook media in accordance with the characteristics and needs of their students.

Abstract

The Kajang tribe as a cultural and environmental tourism destination is a community of indigenous people who live in harmony with nature by having the life principle of "Kamase mase" (unpretentious) and are firm on the "Pasang" (message) of the ancestors. "Pasang" is a way of life for indigenous peoples originating from Turiek A'ra'na (the creator) which was passed down to Tu Mariolo (the first person). The core of "pasang", is to maintain and preserve the forest for a better life and more prosperous. The purpose of this research is to analyze the type of “pasang” as local knowledge and implementation of forest conservation in the Customary Areas. Data was collected through field observations and in-depth interviews with participants and key informants consisting of; 1) Customary Leaders, Ammatoa, 2) Customary Stakeholders, 3) Village Heads, 4) Non-Governmental Organizations, 5) indigenous peoples. The results showed that knowledge of local wisdom for forest conservation and management contained several "pasang". “Pasang” as Knowledge of local wisdom is implemented in the form of forest management zoning. The customary forest is divided into three zones; 1) core zone or sacred forest (borong karamaka or borong lompoa); 2) buffer zone, limited production forest (borong battasayya), and 3) utilization zone (borong Luarayya). The three forest zones have different functions and uses in Ammatoa supervision.

Abstract

In Indonesia itself, currently the competition for dual camera technology smartphones can be said to be dominated by Asian manufacturers, especially from mainland China. Oppo, Vivo, Huawei, LG, Asus, Lenovo are some of the Asian vendors that have so far competed in the market with dual camera smartphones. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of brand image and brand awareness on purchasing decisions for iPhone brand mobile phones. The quantitative descriptive research method with a sample size of 97 people. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS Statistical Program for Social Sciences 2.7. The results of the study found that brand image had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for iPhone brand mobile phones, brand awareness had a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions for iPhone brand mobile phones.

Abstract

The nurse's self-awareness behavior and ability play a very important role in patient safety. The nurse's behavior and ability play a very important role in patient safety performance. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between nurses' self-awareness behavior in carrying out patient safety at Dr. Moewardi Surakarta Hospital. This research is a quantitative research with a cross sectional design. The sample in this study amounted to 99 nurses. The study was conducted in January 2024 at Dr Moewardi Hospital Surakarta. The research instrument uses questionnaires developed by researchers. The results showed that the majority of respondents who had good self-awareness behavior also had good patient safety implementation as many as 71 people (80.7%). Meanwhile, respondents who had poor self-awareness behavior also had poor patient safety implementation as many as 6 people (2.6%) and obtained a significance value of 0.026. The results of the study can be concluded that there is a relationship between nurses' self-awareness behavior and patient safety at Dr. Moewardi Surakarta Hospital.
