Abstract

Pengembangan potensi siswa merupakan upaya yang sangat penting dalam pendidikan, bahkan menjadi esensi dari usaha pendidikan, untuk mengembangkan potensi siswa perlu mengetahui dan memahami terlebih dahulu potensi apa saja yang melekat pada dirinya. Dengan tujuan Untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan Tahfidz Al-Qur’an dalam sarana pengembangan self-actulization siswa MTs An-Nur Palangka Raya. Metode yang di gunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif fenomologi dengan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dilanjutkan langkah pengabsahan dengan trianggulasi sumber serta tahap analisis yakni: reduksi data, penyajian data, serta penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahwa program Tahfidz Al-Qur'an secara signifikan sangat meningkatkan self-actualization siswa yaitu dengan persentase 95% memperbaiki kepercayaan diri mereka. Siswa yang aktif berpartisipasi dalam program ini cenderung menunjukkan tingkat harga diri yang lebih tinggi dan lebih terlibat secara sosial.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) with environmental conservation to build ecological piety among students is important to preserve nature in the future. Therefore, education based on Islamic values collaborated with natural knowledge is expected to increase environmental awareness among the younger generation. In accordance with the existing statement, the purpose of this study is to examine how the integration of PAI can shape the character of students who care about the environment. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach and literature study to explore relevant literature so as to obtain research results that show that religious education integrated with environmental preservation can increase students' ecological awareness. The research subjects were teachers and students of MTsN 1 Palangka Raya, while the data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that in addition, programs such as Adiwiyata School in MTsN 1 Palangka Raya have proven effective in shaping a culture of environmental care in schools. Although there are challenges in implementing the curriculum, innovative efforts are needed to overcome these obstacles. This research is expected to contribute in developing more effective learning strategies in terms of environmental conservation.

Abstract

This research aims to initiate an enjoyable and fun format of Islamic education methods as a solution in improving the effectiveness of learning in the contemporary era. The importance of this research lies in the need for innovation in learning methods that not only emphasize the transfer of religious knowledge, but also develop 21st century skills such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication (4C). With interactive and fun learning methods, it is expected that students can be more active, enthusiastic, and have a deeper understanding of Islamic teachings. This research uses library research method by collecting and analyzing data from various relevant sources, such as books, scientific journals, and articles that discuss the concept of Joyful Learning in Islamic education. The results show that the application of the Joyful Learning method in Islamic education can increase students' learning motivation, reduce boredom in understanding religious material, and create a more conducive and interactive learning environment. Some of the strategies that can be applied in joyful Islamic learning include the use of digital technology, game-based learning, project-based learning, as well as based approach. By applying these methods, Islamic education does not only focus on the cognitive aspect, but also shapes the character of learners who are creative, communicative, and collaboration.

Abstract

Character education is often associated with children and young people, but adults need it too. In modern challenging life, adults face various problems, such as social pressure, family responsibilities, and the demands of the workforce. If not equipped with good character education, they can experience a moral crisis, lose their identity, and have difficulty making wise decisions. This research uses the qualitative descriptive method to explore the importance of character education for adults and the right approach to its implementation. The results show that character education can help individuals become more responsible, have integrity, and be able to face the changing times with a wise attitude. In addition, character education also plays an important role in guiding adults to make positive use of technology and not get caught up in the negative impacts of digitalization. With the right approach, character education can be a solution in creating stronger, more independent individuals who are able to set an example for the next generation.

Abstract

Guru harus menerapkan strategi dalam pembelajaran, karenanya guru menjadi faktor penting dan esensial. Oleh karena itu, guru bertanggung jawab terhadap perkembangan kognitif, emosional, dan psikomotorik siswa, khususnya di sekolah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh guru PAI dan dampaknya terhadap peningkatan nilai siswa. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan. Penelitian ini melibatkan tiga orang guru pendidikan agama Islam sebagai subjek dan delapan orang informan (kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah, seorang guru kelas, dan tiga siswa kelas dua belas). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi partisipan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik validasi data menggunakan triangulasi sumber. Menganalisis data dengan cara mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan menarik kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa strategi pembelajaran yang digunakan guru PAI di SMK Negeri 3 Palangka Raya menerapkan beberapa strategi, antara lain: Perencanaan pembelajaran dan implementasinya, guru menyusun Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP) yang kreatif dan inovatif, dan diimplementasikan sesuai perencanaan yang dibuat; guru juga menerapkan model pembelajaran penemuan dan berbasis masalah dengan menggunakan metode nonkonvensional seperti diskusi, penugasan, tanya jawab, menemukan, mengeksplor dan praktik langsung; guru mengembangkan materi ajar sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan pemanfaatan lingkungan sekitar siswa, selain bersumber dari buku dan sumber digital; guru menggunakan fasilitas berbasis teknologi sebagai adaptasi pembelajaran siswa di era digital; selain itu guru juga melakukan remidial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan nilai peserta didik yang melampaui KKM. Strategi pembelajaran yang diterapkan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan nilai melampaui batas kriteria ketuntasan minimal mata pelajaran PAI.

Abstract

Era digital seperti sekarang ini, media sosial memiliki peran penting dalam penguatan nilai-nilai religious di kalangan pelajar. Karenanya penelitian ini penting untuk mengetahui bagaimana nilai-nilai religius, khususnya yang berkaitan dengan ibadah puasa, disampaikan dan disebarluaskan melalui media sosial resmi dalam platform istagram Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kotawaringin Barat yang platform Instagram bernama mankobar. official. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian lapangan, yang digali datanya menggunakan Teknik observasi yang dilakukan secara langsung terhadap akun instagram madrasahnya selama bulan Ramadan 1446 H/2025 M. Hasil apenelitian didapatkan bahwa konten-konten yang diunggah, seperti ajakan memanfaatkan berpuasa, tampilan ayat Al-Quran dan hadis, serta dokumentasi kegiatan keagamaan seperti Pesantren Kilat, buka Bersama dan kajian keislaman selama puasa, dirasakan oleh siswa memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap semangat religius mereka. Keterlibatan aktif pihak madrasah, khususnya kepala madrasah sebagai top leader dan wakil kepala madrasah bidang Hubungan Masyarakat adalah orang penting yang berperan menyajikan pesan-pesan islami secara menarik yang dapat menggugah siswa dalam menontonnya   In today's digital era, social media plays an important role in strengthening religious values among students. Therefore, this research is essential to understand how religious values, particularly those related to the practice of fasting, are conveyed and disseminated through the official social media of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri Kotawaringin Barat, specifically via its Instagram platform under the handle mankobar.official. This study employs a qualitative approach with a field research design, collecting data through direct observation of the madrasah’s Instagram account during the month of Ramadan 1446 H / 2025 AD. The research findings indicate that the uploaded content—such as invitations to make the most of fasting, verses from the Qur'an and hadith, as well as documentation of religious activities like talk shows, Pesantren Kilat (intensive religious camp), distribution of takjil to the community, communal iftar, and Islamic studies during the fasting period—has positively contributed to students’ religious enthusiasm. The active involvement of the school, particularly the head of the madrasah as the top leader and the vice principal of public relations, plays a significant role in presenting Islamic messages in an engaging way that captures students’ interest.

Abstract

Social media is a medium that provides convenience in communication and even interaction without being limited by space and time. Everyone who uses a smartphone has social media installed for their communication access. This communication is needed for interpersonal or intergroup. This is to support mobile activities. The purpose of this study is to determine the implications of social media on the religious values ​​of students at MAN Kotawaringin Barat. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a snowball sampling technique which is a type of research that starts with a small sample then develops into a large one until the researcher digs up data with participant observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The object of this study is the implications of MAN Kotawaringin Barat social media on students' religious values ​​and the subjects of this study were 31 class XI IPS 1 students with the criteria of actively visiting MAN Kotawaringin Barat social media. The results of this study indicate that the social media of MAN Kotawaringin Barat is still actively used to upload current information and various school activities, but no influence of religious values from the social media of MAN Kotawaringin Barat was found.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of humanistic principles in the teaching of the Qur'an for adult learners. Adopting a qualitative research approach, the study aims to understand how humanistic theories, such as those proposed by Maslow and Rogers, are applied within the context of Qur'anic education and how they influence the personal and spiritual development of adult learners. The subjects of this study were 20 adult learners from several institutions and 5 educators from local Islamic education institutions. Data collection methods included semi-structured interviews, observations, and documentation analysis, with a focus on capturing the lived experiences of participants and the dynamics of the learning process. Triangulation of data and member checking will be employed to ensure validity and credibility of the findings. The study found that applying humanistic education in Qur'anic learning enhanced adult learners' engagement, reflection, and personal connection to the text. It fostered deeper, more meaningful learning by prioritizing personal growth and relevance to daily life. This research shows that humanistic principles can enrich Qur'anic education, offering a transformative model that supports adult learners' spiritual and personal development in modern contexts.

Abstract

Effective education requires a holistic approach, which not only focuses on cognitive aspects, but also considers the emotional and contextual aspects for students. This study aims to analyses the implementation of various strategies in creating fun and meaningful learning experiences at the primary school level, focusing on the use of interactive and creative learning methods, providing positive reinforcement, and connecting learning materials with students' daily lives. The methods used in this research are interviews, observations, and quantitative data analysis through surveys to teachers, students, and parents. The results show that using interactive and creative methods can increase student engagement, while providing positive reinforcement can reinforce desired learning behaviors. In addition, connecting learning to student’s daily lives is proven to significantly improve students’ understanding and interest in learning. As many as 80% of teachers stated that linking subject matter to real situations around students increases the attractiveness of the material, while 70% of students claimed to be more interested in learning that is relevant to their lives. This research provides important insights into the importance of humanistic and contextualized approaches in primary education to create a more enjoyable and effective learning experience.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: Insect visitors to oil palm flowers, an important component in the pollination process and ecosystem services, are evaluated for their diversity in this study. The research explores their potential as a resource for environment-based learning rooted in local contexts within smallholder plantations, aiming to raise awareness and support sustainable education practices in the community. Methodology: Insects were collected using sweep nets, yellow pan traps, and direct observation. Identification was conducted using a Nikon SMZ445 stereo microscope and reference to entomological keys. Data analysis was carried out descriptively, focusing on species composition and abundance. An e-pocket book was developed as a learning resource. Main Findings: The results showed a total of 50 morphospecies of insect visitors on both male and female oil palm flowers. The number of insect species visiting male flowers was higher, consisting of 38 morphospecies belonging to 21 families and 10 orders. The results of the study were developed into a local wisdom-based pocket book focused on the diversity of insect visitors to oil palm flowers in smallholder plantations. The learning resource was validated by content experts, design experts, media experts, and students, with an average score of 81.7%, indicating it is highly suitable for use in environment-based education. Novelty/Originality of this study: This study highlights insect diversity in smallholder oil palm plantations, which is rarely documented. It also links ecological data with educational applications, providing a model for utilizing local biodiversity as a teaching resource in environmental and biology education.
